Luster Dawn's Journal: Entry Number 2 - Dawn of Friendship

It's worth noting that when Astrotle Mondoli was going after Fluttershy, a storm brewed above the yellow pegasus's house. But once he left, that storm cleared up in a nano-second. I thought to mention this sooner rather then later. Why do I need to mention this now? Because it's important now. I thought it was just odd coincidence that last time, but now that the same exact storm's showed up again over the house of another of twilight's friends? Yeah it's safe to say that it's a signal at this point. And Astrotal Mondoli is going after Rarity next. I won't let that happen. I may be going up against this guy by myself, but I just have to remind myself of something my friends told me.

"No matter how far apart we may be by distance, we'll always be side by side no matter what."

As I stood there in the now darkened Ponyville Boutique, those words stuck with me the most out of everything that was said to me. And you want to know why? Because they were true. They were as true as how empty this place feels with Rarity and everyone else that was inside evacuated into the castle for the time being. That demon devil is not going to harm anyone if I have anything to say about it. Rarity deserves to go out HER way, and not by the way of some sick twisted monster. Because that's exactly what Astrotle Mondoli was to me: A very sick and very twisted monster. Grogar and Sombra were bad, but this demon devil? Oh he was much, much worse. I dare even say that he was on a whole different level. during my studies, I came across something that could best describe Astrotle Mondoli.

"Eldrich Horror"

According to what I've managed to read about these Eldrich Horrors, they are pure monsters. From what I was able to read before Astrolte Mondoli's storm arrived for the second time, they are pure monsters; they care for nothing but themselves. And that's something far worse then Tirek or Chrysalis anyday. But then another passage about these Eldrich Horrors had captured my attention. Apparently, even if brought to a point where it would seem like one more attack would kill them, even if that attack is made. Nothing would change.

The Eldrich Horror would just return in a new form, in a new place, and in a new way. Something that could constantly be a threat like Astrotle Mondoli was something that I meant to bring up with Princess Twilight that day the storm occured. Sadly, as you can guess, because of that storm, that was pushed aside for now. Let's return to the scene shall we?

So yeah, there I was in the middle of the Ponyville Boutique. Rarity, Sandbar, and Yona were all cleared out. Thankfully, Sweetie Belle was actually having a sleepover at the Apple Family farm with her Crusader friends plus Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Those six mares have so little in common, what with two of them coming from very rich families, but they've made their friendship last. I'll have to ask about that sometime later. Maybe I'll learn something that could help me become a better friend.

But for now, I was waiting. Yeah, I know I'm doing a lot of remising here, but I had to do something to pass the time while I wait.

...He's here. It's time.

Luster Dawn let out a sigh as she ended her journal. It was time. She went down stairs just as Astrottle Mondoli entered the door. "It's a bit quiet here...too quiet." The demon in question said. Suddenly Luster used her magic to close the door behind him and turn out the lights.

"Looking for someone?" Luster asked.

"What the...who are you?!" Astrottle Mondoli asked Luster.

"My name is Luster Dawn. And you won't be killing anyone so long as I draw breath." Luster said.

"Challenging me alone? That's not very smart of you." Astrottle Mondoli said. Suddenly a glow occurred from Luster. "What is this?!" The demon questioned.

"I may be alone, but no matter where me or my friends my be...there is one thing that will continuelly bind us together. And that, is the magic of friendship!" Luster said before fighting Astrottle Mondoli head on. Try as the devil demon might, Astrottle Mondoli was no match for Luster Dawn.

"I don't understand...you are a mere mortal..." Astrottle Mondoli said.

"Like I said...even when I may be alone, I will never really be fighting alone. So long as I have the greastest spell there is: The magic of friendship!" Luster said and suddenly fired one last laser as the devil demon, vaporizing him and sending him back where he came from. It was over now. The battle has been won. And life moves on...
