My Little Pony: Dawn of Friendship

“So your still pen pals with Tirek huh?” Twilight asked Cozy Glow.

“It’s mostly correspondence chess, but every now and then he let me know of things like the mirror pound that he siphons magic from so it’s magic no longer is a harm to life as we know it.” Cozy Glow Said.

“He’s taken up siphoning magic from dangerous sources?” Twilight asked.

“I told him it’d be the best way for him to do good his own way. He was unable to find his brother, so when I read about the mirror pool, I suggested he siphon magic from things like that so that beings like Astrotle Mondoli and Oreburus can’t use them.” Cozy Glow said.

“So he’s still not accepting friendship...” Twilight Said.

“But he wants to do something good. Which is why I pointed him in that direction. Total Win-Win: He gets to absorb magic, and Eldridge Horrors can’t use things they can use on us like the mirror pool.” Cozy Glow Said.

“I suppose it does give him a purpose. I suppose I can allow it.” Twilight Said.

“Oh by the way, Tirek did write to me to ask you if he could stop by Ponyville for a visit. I’ll watch over him, make sure he behaves.” Cozy Glow Said.

“Very well. But only because I trust you more then I do him.” Twilight Said.

“Great!” Cozy Glow got to Writing a letter right away.

“Just one question: How are you sending mail back and forth?” Twilight Asked.

“A little spell he taught me. Did you know that every species of ponies can use magic? Sure it’s just a simple letter teleport spell but I’ve gotten the hang of it.” Cozy Glow Said.

“But...harnessing that magic is supposed to be near impossible and should’ve taken you years to master!” Twilight Said.

“Don’t forget: Half-changeling.” Cozy Glow Said.

“Oh...right...” Twilight Said.

Cozy Glow met with Tirek outside of Ponyville. Luster Dawn and her friends soon joined them. As soon as word got out Chrysalis and Chrystalis soon came as well.

“Chrysalis?” Tirek was confused.

“You know mommy?” Chrystalis asked.

“Yes I do sweetie. Tirek, it’s nice to see you doing well for yourself.” Chrysalis Said.

“You have a daughter too?” Tirek questioned.

“Oops...forgot to mention that...” Cozy Glow Said.

“Oh Cozy Glow...” Luster Said.

“And who is this?” Tirek asked.

“Luster Dawn. We saw one another during the Monster Horde battle but you left before we could be properly introduced.” Luster Said.

“Oh great...another pony...” Tirek Said.

“Tirek, please be behave. If I need to, I have the authority to call Princess Twilight on you if you don’t behave...” Cozy Glow Warned.

“Ugh...Fine. Can we move somewhere else at least? I feel sick...” Tirek Said.

“Oh no...you could’ve waited to come by if you were sick. Friendship or not, I care for you you know that.” Cozy Glow Said.

“No not coming down with something. Something in the air is magic my stomach churn.” Tirek Said.

“Huh? But there’s nothing here that...” Luster’s Eyes went Wide. “Another Eldrich Horror is near; everyone get ready to rumble!” Luster Dawn Said. Suddenly Astrotle Mondoli showed up only he looked different.

“Didn’t we blast you with the Friendship Laser?!” Cozy Glow exclaimed.

“You blasted me with something. And it’s made my dark god VERY angry...” Astrotle Mondoli Said before he suddenly took on some sort of massive black form resembling a giant scorpion. “Which is why this time...I’m going to use my full power!” The Demon Devil Said.

“That’s a new trick...” Cozy Glow Said.

“Gah! What is this creature?! It’s giving off magic vibes that are making me sick!” Tirek Said.

“Tirek...could you possibly have the ability to sense Eldrich Horrors?” Luster Dawn ask.

“Not sure what those are but I could sense this creature coming from a mile away...” Tirek Said.

“In that case, you may be able to help us later. For now, let’s deal with this Demon Devil!” Cozy Glow Said.

The battle raged in for a while. Strong as the demon devil’s new form was, Luster’s group was stronger.

“How long has it been since I’ve been pushed this far? It’s been so long since I last faced such strong mortals. I shall show you my true form. Thousands of eons have passed since I last took that form.” Astrotle Said before his form morphed into some huge bug like entity that was a giant mishmash of things.

“Gah! This thing...it isn’t normal!” Tirek Said.

“That’s because he’s an Eldrich Horror; a truely evil and powerful creature that only acts on it’s own needs.” Luster Dawn Said. “It’s an abomination that we need to get rid of.” Luster said.

“Well I’ve had just about enough of this creature’s foul magic!” Tirek Said before joining the fight. With his assist, Astrotle was forced back to his default form.

“I...I have lost...again! Oraberous...avenge me my master!” Astrotle Mondoli Said before he turned to dust again.
