Tragic Times

Fluttershy wanted to stop all of her friends form getting hurt. But she didn't want to get injured herself. What could she do? She decided that there was only one thing for her to try. It was a combo of the 'stare' and Iron Will's motivational training program. She walked past Rarity, Starshine , and Twilight who all gave her worried looks.

"It'll be fine girls. Just please stay back." She said. They knew well enough that when Fluttershy was in her 'stare' mode or Iron Will mode. She wasn't a force to be reckoned with.

"Spike, you have to stop this now!!!" She screamed giving him the 'stare'. She was hoping that she wouldn't have to use 'Iron Will' mode for this. But the 'stare' didn't effect him at all. It wasn't suprising though. Now she had to concentrate to draw out Flutter-Bitch as her friends had called her during the few days after Iron WIll's training program. She really didn't want them to see her like this again. But there was no choice. She had to do it for Spike and Twilight.  She had to do it for her friends.

"Hrngggh!!! G-Girls, you might want to back away." Fluttershy said with pure rage coursing through her veins. They all took a few steps back. Even Starshine who didn't have the slightest idea as to what was happening at the moment.

"You refuse? I'll make you Bruise!!" She yells running at full speed towards Spike. Hoping to do some damage to the dragon. She could hear her friends yelling for her to stop and turn back around. She didn't listen, she should have listened. The next thing she saw was the dragon's tail hitting her and throwing her through the air. She then crashed through  the window of Sugarcube Corner.

Her remaining friends didn't know if she was awake or knocked out. They didn't bother to check. They just needed to stop Spike from hurting anyone else. It was Rarity's turn to step up. She didn't know what she would do, but she thought that she would use her charms against him.

"I think I know what to do Twilight. I'll use my charms and good looks to stop him." Rarity proclaimed.

"Rarity, I don't think that will work. This isn't the Spike that we know and love! This is a monster we have here!"

"This monster is my little Spikey-Wikey. He would never hurt me."

Starshine had yet to say anything. She was scared that this wouldn't work. There had to be something she could do. But, she couldn't do anything while Rarity and Twilight were in the way. She had thought of a plan a long time ago. She just had to wait to use it until they were done fighting him.

"Mwahahahaha!!! You think that little 'Spikey-Wikey' wouldn't hurt you?! Well he's not here anymore, and he will never be coming back. But, I will have a fun time killing everyone. The princess won't even know that Spike is possesed because you all will be dead!!" Revenge said.

"Even if he doesn't pull through this nightmare. We won't stop fighting you until one of us die's!!" Twilight said angrily.

"Twilight!! I don't wanna die though!!" Rarity cried.

Revenge noticed Rarity for the first time since she had stepped up to fight him. He knew that there was only one thing that she loved more than her friends. Her mane. He took a step towards her getting ready to fry her mane off. Twilight was trying to calm Rarity down to even notice this. When Rarity had finally calmed down, she noticed the burst of red flames moving towards Rarity.

"Rarity! Look out!" She yelled. But it was too late. The flames had already engulfed her and burnt her mane clean off. Even her tail was gone.

Twilight and Starshine were shocked to see that he had intentionally fried Rarity's hair off. Starshine was having trouble stifling a laugh at the sight of Rarity. Rarity on the other hand hadn't felt a thing. She didn't know her hair was gone. She didn't know why her friends were laughing at her. Well, Starshine was at least. Twilight just looked shocked. Rarity was just about to ask what was wrong. When she looked down into a puddle and saw what was wrong. She couldn't believe it, all of her mane and tail were gone. She couldn't stand to look at herself like that. She just ran home screaming and crying her eyes out.

Now, it was Twilight's turn. She was planning to hit him with every single spell she had. She knew that it probably wouldn't stop him. But, it would buy them some time. She had always told herself that dying would never hurt. What came next was worse than dying. She had used a teleportation spell on the dragon. But, it just teleported him closer. She didn't want to have to use her fighting spells that Princess Luna had taught her. But, it seemed like she didn't have a choice.

"Spike, I didn't want to have to use this. But, you leave me no choice." Twilight said as orbs started to gather around her horn. She fired a blast of magic towards him. It hit his right eye. She had meant to hit his forehead to knock him out. But, he was too tall for her.

"Arghh!!" Revenge yelled clutching his right eye. It had actually hurt him. He didn't think it would, but it had. Everthing was going according to plan. He would 'lose'. They would 'win', and Spike would die for good. He would then be able to wreck havoc where ever he went. As long as he manifested himself in a living creature.

Twilight didn't actually think that her blast would hurt him. She cringed as she heard him screaming in pain. She didn't want to know what happened to his eye. But, if he made it through this, he surely won't be using it anytime soon. She wasn't paying attention to him when he started charging towards her. The only thing that she could do was send another beam of magic towards him. She fired again, this time it hit his forehead dead on. But, not before he got a hit on Twilight. He had swiped his claws at her face. He missed but he definitely hit something. She blacked out. Now only Startshine was left. The 'Cutie Mark Crusader's had gone to help the other girls to the hospital.
