Tragic Times

Spike was standing outside of the Golden Oaks library in Ponyville. He was afraid to enter. Even though this was the place he called home for so many years of his life. This was the one time that he didn't want to enter it. At least not alone. He heard something from behind him. He turned around and saw Trixie walking towards him. She didn't seem to notice he was there. She wasn't even looking where she was going. She was just staring at the ground.

"T-Trixie? Is that you?"

Trixie had been walking around in this strange place she called 'oblivion'. It was so dark, nopony was around, she was all alone. She was walking down a particularly long road when she hear somepony's voice in front of her. She looked up and saw Spike in front of the library. She instinctively fliched at the sight of him. She had thought that he was going to hurt her for what she had done to him. Even though it wasn't really her that did it. But, he probably didn't know that. She was suprised and a little bit scared when she didn't feel any pain from being hit. But, the thing that suprised her was that he didn't hit her at all.

"Aren't you mad at me? For what I did to you? It is my fault that you are here in the first place."

"No it isn't. I know that wasn't you. I know that it was someone called 'Revenge'. I think it was a corrupted element. Everypony here seems to be a corrupted element. I thinkn this is where Discord and Nightmare Moon came from. Well, the elements of 'Chaos' and 'Envy' anyways."

"You're not mad at me? Even though it wasn't mentally me, it was still physically me. I put you into a coma. You could die from this, and you're not mad or even angry at me?" Trixie said in disbelief.

"No, i'm not mad at you. But, I do need your help. I need your help trying to defeat whatever is in there. I've seen every one of the Elements of Harmony except for Twilight. They were all acting the opposite of what they usually act like."

"You, need my help? Even after I put you into a coma? Aren't you mad at me? Not even a little angry?"

"Will you just stop with that already!! I'm not mad at you! It wasn't your fault. You weren't you. You were the Element of Revenge."

Trixie sighed. "Okay, i'll help you defeat them."

"Good, now we need to think of a plan before we go in there. We don't know who's in there and who isn't. Do you have any ideas?"

"No, no good one's anyways. All mine just include us barging in..there...Uh, Spike?"

"Yeah, Trixie?"

"When did we enter the library?"

"What do you mean? We haven't entered the library yet. We're still outside of it see." Spike says as he turns around. His eyes widen as he notices that they are in the library. In fact, all of the Elements of Harmony are there. They were all surrounding them.

"Don't worry little dragon. We're not going to harm you. We just want to talk with you. A little conversation that's all." They all said staring at Spike and Trixie.

"Where is Twilight? I want to see Twilight." Spike said looking around the library at all the strange inventions and gizmo's. He didn't like the look of things here. He was afraid of what Twilight would act like. They were all acting like the opposite's of their normal selves. He was wondering what Twilight would act like. He was about to find out.

"I hear that you're looking for me puny dragon. It seems that you found our little friend Trixie. Hehe, I didn't think that she would live this long. But, no worry's. She won't live through this. Just like you won't live through this."

"Live through what? Nothing is happening right now." Spike asks Twilight.

"Well, right as we speak. You're friend Twilight and somepony called Starshine is it? Are fighting you. They are trying to stop you from hurting them and the rest of Ponyville. But that's no use."

"Who are you? Why are you here? You don't even want to hurt us yet you torture me with all of those sights that I saw. What are you?"

"That is a very good question dragon. We are the Elements of Disharmony. I am the Element of Science. Rainbow Dash is the Element of Disloyalty, Apple Jack is the Element of Lying, Pinkie Pie is the Element of Sadness, Fluttershy is the Element of Hatred, and Rarity is the Element of Greed."

Spike was about to ask a question when everything started to shake. He looked at the Elements of Disharmony but they were gone. Everything started to crumble around him and Trixie. The 'void' was getting destroyed. It wouldn't hold much longer. They had managed to make it out of the library before it collapsed. He started running down the street but there was nowhere to run. He looked behind him for Trixie, but she was nowhere to be seen. He was running out of space. The ground around him was gone. He knew he wouldn't make it. Even if he tried to jump. The ground below him gave out. He started falling into oblivion. He blacked out.
