Tragic Times

Spike slowly opened his eyes. He looked around the room he was in. There were beeping machines everywhere around him. He somehow knew he wasn't in the 'void' anymore. He closed his eyes once again and fell into a much needed sleep.

"Spike? Spike, wake up. Wake up Spike. Your friends are here to see you."

Spike opened his eyes. He didn't know how long he was alseep for. He smiled when he saw Twilight walk into the room. But then stopped when he saw her horn wrapped in a cast.

"Twilight, what happened to your horn?"

"When you were possesed. You broke it. I can't use magic ever again."

Spike didn't know what to say. He noticed that his vision seemed to be worse than before. If he had done that to Twilight he wondered what he did to the others.

"Twilight? Why can't I see out of my right eye?"

"Heh, sorry about that. You were charging at me. The only thing I could do was shoot you. I meant to hit your forehead. But I hit your right eye instead. You're blind in your right eye for the rest of your life."

The news didn't shock him much. He was more worried about the others. If they were alright. He was especially worried about Starshine. He hoped that she didn't get injured at all.

"May I see the others? One at a time though." Spike asked.

"Sure, i'll go get them." Twilight said. Walking out of the room.

He was worried about them. He didn't want to hurt them. But he had no choice.

Spike's heart dropped when he saw Rainbow Dash walk in. Her wings were gone. She wouldn't be able to fly anymore.

"D-Did I do that?" Spike asked pointing towards where her wings would be.

"Yeah, you did. Heh, I didn't actually think you could do that squirt. Looks like you're stronget than you think."

"D-Dash i'm sorry.I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't mean to take your dreams away from you." Spike said beginning to cry.

"Don't be. It wasn't your fault. You weren't yourself. If you want me to stay in here while the other;s come in I will."

"Thanks, Dash. i would like that."

"Okay, I will. But I don't even know what happened to the others. I only saw Twilight when she told me I could come see you. I don;t even know if I want to see them. I know you don't."

"Yeah, i'm really sorry for what I did to them. I think AppleJack should enter next. Twilight would you go get her please?"

"Yeah, i'll go get her for you. Be right back." Twilight replied.

When Apple Jack entered Rainbow Dash and Spike didn't know what to say. She had lost her back legs and her eyesight when Spike attacked her. Spike was crying silently to himself. He didn't to see anymore of his friends get hurt.

"I'm sorry Apple Jack." He cried.

"Don't worry sugarcube. It wasn't yer fault. You didn't mean it. You couldn't control yerself."

"Apple Jack? Are you okay?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Do ah look okay to you? I lost mah eyesight and mah back legs. So does that answer yer question?" She replied annoyed by her friends ingnorance. "What did you lose anyways? I don't remember you getting hurt."

She heard Dash crying and automatically assumed the worst. When she answered it was worse than she thought.

"Y-You lost yer wings? Ah'm sorry I didn't know sugarcube."

"Don't worry AJ. It's no big deal. I can still walk on clouds. I just can't fly." Rainbow Dash said wiping away her tears.

"Apple Jack? Could you stay in here while the others visit?" Spike asked.

"Sure, what are friends for right?"

"Yeah, what are friends for." Spike wispered to himself.

The rest of the girls entered after that. Each time they broke down crying. Pinkie Pie had lost her voice. Rarity was bald for good, Fluttershy's face was scarred for life. However the one thing that hurt Spike the most was the news about Starshine. She had given her life to save his. She had drawn the Element of Revenge out of him and into her. After that she requested to be immortalized in stone in the Royal Gardens. Princess Celestia had agreed to do so. Right before Revenge took control over her, she wispered her final words. 'Tell Spike I live him'. Everyone was worried for him. Eventually Celestia saw a way out. She reversed the effects of that day. Dash got her wings back, Fluttershy's face wasn't scarred, Pinkie got her voice, Apple Jack could see and walk again, Rarity got her beloved hair back, and Twilight could use magic again. When it was Spike's turn to get his right eye back, he refused. When they asked why he said, 'I want it to be a reminder of what happened. I want it to be a reminder of Starshine.'. Everyone understood. He was going through a difficult time in his life. They hoped he would get over it soon.
