A Sparlight Wedding

Starlight went up to the caravan and knocked the door which Trixie answered with glee.

“Hey Starlight I’m so happy for you, congratulations on the wedding.” Trixie said happily.

“Thanks Trixie, how’d you know?” Starlight asked curiously.

“Discord won our bet over when Spike would propose and rubbed it in my face I lost ten bits but it was worth it.” Trixie answered a bit downtrodden but brightened up at the thought of her best friend getting married.

“Well thanks Trixie I feel so happy about this marriage, that is actually why I came to talk to you.” Starlight explained happily.

“Me? What for?” Trixie asked a bit shocked by the news.

“Well I was thinking since we’ve known each other for a long time and that we have a lot of history it would be an honor if you became my Best Mare.” Starlight explained with excitement.

“Starlight of course the Great and Powerful Trixie will be your Best Mare, she promises to not take the attention away from you and the groom of course.” Trixie answered in third person and in happiness.

Starlight giggles before she said “Thanks Trix, also I have a confession to make.”

“Oh what is it?” Trixie asked curiously.

“I’m a bit concerned about what might happen, what if I screw up at the wedding and Spike won’t wanna be my husband anymore?” Starlight asked worriedly.

“Spike loves you Starlight, trust me he would never leave you.” Trixie comforted putting a hoof around Starlight.

“I know Trixie but ever since my past I’m terrified of hurting him.” Starlight admitted.

“Starlight you’re past is not today, remember you’ve changed and Spike loves you, trust me you’ll be fine.” Trixie comforted with a soft smile on her face.

“Yeah you’re right thanks Trixie I can always count on you to help me out.” Starlight said before she and Trixie embraced.
