It had been a couple of days now since Trixie had begun bunking in the Friendship Castle, and now that she was settled in, Starlight finally felt it was the right time to start becoming friends with the former showmare. So the student unicorn went up to Trixie.

"Hey, Trixie right?" Starlight asked.

"Yes, I am Trixie. Your Twilight's student Starlight, right?" Trixie asked.

"That would be me yes. I wanted you to get settled in before we tried connecting with each other." Starlight said.

"Trixie appreciates your gesture." Trixie stated.

"Oh please. It was nothing. From what Twilight told me, you two have a bit of history together." Starlight said.

"Trixie's magic show in ponyville caused two young colts to wake up an ursa minor that Twilight had to calm down. Trixie got upset over it when the result caused Trixie by other ponies now that they knew Trixie's on-stage persona was a fake. Trixie managed to get a job where she gained money to buy something called the Alicorn Amulet. Trixie however...found herself get corrupted by the artifact. After Twilight willingly didn't report Trixie's actions under the artifact's influence, Trixie found herself needing to look in herself. So Trixie went on a journey of self discovery and found what really mattered her was the need to make other ponies happy. After several months, Trixie decided to rebrand herself as a showmare out to make children smile with her illusion magic." Trixie explained.

"Twilight's like that apparently." Starlight said.

"Trixie noticed. So, how did you end up becoming Twilight's student?" Trixie asked.

"...I don't really like to talk about it. Promise you won't think less of me if I tell you?" Starlight asked.

"Please, Trixie is sure it can't be that bad." Trixie said.

"Well...okay. I warned you though." Starlight said and began telling her story.

After Starlight was finished, Trixie was shocked to say the least.

"...You traveled through time?" Trixie asked.

"Yeah...not for the best purposes mind you. Didn't think I'd have a chance at friendship after all this time but Twilight believed I could put forth that effort." Starlight said.

"It's like you said, Twilight's like that. Once you showed her why you were so against Cutie Marks, she reached out to you. And you can't deny that your happy she did." Trixie said. Starlight smiled.

"Your right Trixie, thanks for that." Starlight said and hugged Trixie.

Meanwhile, Twilight was in the throne room when suddenly the book she kept to communicate with Sunset Shimmer on the other side of the portal began to vibrate.

"Princess Twilight, I hope you don't mind but I'm coming back to Equestria. Permeantly. Something happened back here that made me realize that so long as I'm over here, it'll just keep drawing Equestria Magic to the world I'm in. And after a recent event, I realized that I can't keep being here if it's going to endanger lives. So I've made an executive decision to come back to Equestria and stay there. If not for my sake, then for the sake of everyone else here. I do hope you'll understand." Sunset's Message said. Twilight wrote back.

"I understand your decision to do this, and am glad that your thinking of the friends you made on that side of the portal. I'll vouch for you with the pony versions of the girls on this side of the portal and let you get settled in before you decide on your next course of action now that your going to stay in Equestria for the safety of your friends. I do want to hear about what happened that made you decide this decision." Twilight wrote.

"I think it's best to tell you about that face-to-face. I will be leaving this journal with Applejack so I can communicate with this side of the portal at the least. And if something comes up, we can keep the portal open. But right now, I can see no easy way to save everyone over here then for me to come back to Equestria." Sunset wrote back.

"I understand. I have taken in a second student to teach friendship, and I would love for you to meet her after our talk." Twilight wrote.

"Sounds awesome, I'll see you soon. Just don't tell Celestia I've returned on a permanent basis until I'm ready to talk to her okay? Sunset wrote.

"Don't worry, I won't." Twilight wrote back. She went to the room where she kept the mirror right away.

Sunset came through the mirror soon enough.

"Sunset, your here." Twilight said before hugging Sunset.

"It's good to be home." Sunset said, hugging back.

"So, shall I introduce you to the pony I took in as my other student?" Twilight asked.

"Lead the way, Twilight." Sunset said, and followed Twilight out of the room.

Twilight lead Sunset into one of the rooms where she was seeing Starlight and Trixie hanging out.

"Hey Starlight, there's somepony I want you to meet." Twilight said.

"Oh really?" Starlight lit up. When Twilight revealed Sunset, Starlight looked confused.

"Huh? Sunburst? Did you...get a sex change?" Starlight asked.

"Wait...how do you know that name?" Sunset asked.

"...Your not Sunburst are you?" Starlight asked.

"No, my name is Sunset Shimmer. Sunburst happens to be my little brother. It's been forever since I saw him last though. Not since after I became Celestia's first student." Sunset said. "Last I saw him, he was no more then two months old." She added.

"Wait...how can you be the same age as me and look like your brother only as a mare? He and I are very close in age; only a couple months apart." Starlight said.

"I wonder...could time flow differently in the human world? Like say a year over there is like a week here?" Twilight questioned. "So many questions that need answers, I need to go research this!" Twilight said and rushed off.

"Oh great...now Twilight's going to be tied up with this for a few weeks." Starlight said.

"Heh...sorry?" Sunset said, sheepishly.

"Not your fault." Starlight said.

The sunset being sunburts's older sister is only a theory so I inputted that here, but this'll be the only time it'll be brought.
