Third Person P.O.V.

The CMC were enjoying their time together with their special someponies and Silver Spoon who was their closest friend who still had no special somepony and Shade.

Shade would sometimes go for a few days and come back, saying it was time related stuff and nothing more. But he did stick by Scootaloo and Rumble a lot; both of whom were growing ever closer together.

“So Shade, I was wondering about something. I know you can’t mention names but I want to know, when was the first time you put on your Mech suit?” Silver Spoon asked.

“Ah now that is a story. I can’t give names yes, but I think it’s safe to tell you that story.” Shade said.

Shade's P.O.V.

For context, you should know that I have a little sister. Many of my friends thought I'd grow jealous of the attention she'd get from my parents.

But I never complained and didn't mind so much. The only thing in my mind was a need to protect her, no matter what.

One day, she was kidnapped while my mother and father were out. Not wanting to trust the royal guard to finding her, I donned a mech suit made by one of my aunts and also one of my mother's closest friends.

With that mech suit, I had managed to track down my sister's kidnappers and rescue her. Though Princess Celestia was understandably not pleased by this. Thankfully I was let off the hook as it was revealed the two kidnappers were working for an underground slavery ring that had been going on behind the princess's back. Princess Celestia then had the royal guard investigate this slavery ring to find the ringleader. However, the documents the princess of the sun got back, she could tell just by looking at them, were not complete and left out a lot of key information.

So, she turned to me, causing me the don the mech suit once more and find the ringleader as well as the truth.

Weeks passed, and eventually, I had managed to uncover enough evidence to point to the captain of the Canterlot Royal Guard; the one that eventually took over for Shining Armor after he became Prince of the Crystal Empire officially.

I had managed to get into the guard's office, and found the original report. It detailed that the corrupt captain that had taken over for Shining Armor was the ringleader behind the whole thing and I found files on the corrupt captain's computer that proved it was him who made the Redacted Report.

However, before I could go to Celestia with all my evidence, the corrupt captain had found me in his office. He was not about to let me live after learning everything.

Using swords I found in his office, I managed to disarm him and then promptly cut off his front hooves to make sure he could not rearm himself. Thankfully, many royal guards had found the office and after presenting Princess Celestia with the evidence, the corrupt captain was stripped of his former title, and executed the next day alongside all those associated with the ring.

As a reward for my efforts, I was dubbed Equestria's hidden Protector, and ever since, the creator of this armor has continued to upgrade it for me when I need it.

Third Person P.O.V.

"And that was essentially my first time donning the assumed name of Shade. My real name is one I can't tell you for fear of changing the future, but I will tell you that my mother was very proud of me for what I had done. After that, no one really bugged me about me becoming jealous of my younger sister. After all, it was pretty clear to all of my friends now, that even though my younger sister would be getting a lot of attention from my parents, I was going to do anything to make sure that she was safe and sound above all else." Shade said.

"Ya know, that does sound a lot like what Shining Armor is to Twilight: A very overprotective big brother." Apple Bloom said.

"Still, did you have to cause that corrupt captain bodily harm?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Now Sweetie Belle, you have to understand, in the moment Shade did what he thought would be the best course of action to ensure the capture of a corrupt guard captain." Silver Spoon said.

"Silver Spoon has a point, and believe me, there some things you tend to do in the moment like that." Diamond Tiara said.

"I suppose your right." Sweetie Belle admitted.

"That sounds like something out of a Video Game." Button Mash said.

"Of course you would relate it to that." Rumble said.

"Chill you two." Scootaloo said. "I will say this much Shade, I am very pleased to hear that you stood up for your little sister like that. I know that if I was your mother, I would be very proud of you like she was when you did that." Scootaloo said.

"Oh you have no idea what that means to me..." Shade said in almost a whisper.

"Hmm? Did you say something?" Scootaloo asked.

"Oh I was just saying that that means more to me to hear you say that then you think, Scootaloo." Shade said.

"Right. I do also think your awesome for standing up to corruption like that. I hope that if I have a kid, they grow up to be just as awesome as you did." Scootaloo said.

"Again you have no idea..." Shade Whispered.

"Hmm? What was that?" Scootaloo asked.

"I was just saying that you should probably get old enough to actually be legal age to be a parent before you make that sort of commitment." Shade said.

"Don't worry, I will." Scootaloo said.

Foreshadowing much? Shade, be careful that you don't spill the beans too much here. Also fun fact, this was originally going to be a mini-sode but I felt like it got long enough to be a full length Episode.
