My Little Pony: The Prince of Friendship

Over the past few months, Scootaloo, Ace, and several other Pegasi that weren't in the Sonicbolts have been racing in the annual Wonderbolt Cup. Since the Wonderbolts have been officially disbanded, this will be the last ever Wonderbolt Cup so the winner is expected to walk away with not just the cup, but a barrage of Wonderbolt Memorabilia.

In the last race, Scootaloo, Ace, and an out of town Pegasus from Manhatten called Wing Nut had a three way tie, so now there is one final race at Rainbow Falls to determine the winner.

"Hey Scootaloo." Ace said. "I just want to let you know...no matter who wins this race, we agree, no hard feelings." He said.

"You've been doing good since your release Ace. So yeah, no hard feelings. Let's let whoever wins just win." Scootaloo agreed.

"You know, you've allowed me to train harder then I think I ever had for a professional race like this. Mainly because I want to be able to beat you." Ace said. "I don't think that would've ever have been possible if you hadn't have basically set me straight. That week I spent in prison really made me re-evaluate myself." He added.

"Hey, the second you said you wanted to race me in the Wonderbolt cup, I jumped at the chance. Even if this is the last one. No matter who wins, just experiencing this is enough for me. So, I say we call a truce: No targeting each other during the race." Scootaloo said.

"I wasn't going to try and DQ anyone this time. Though the same can't be said for Wing Nut over there. He's been DQing quite a few racers this year." Ace said.

"Guy has a lot of rage." Scootaloo said.

"Alright everyone, take your starting positions." A race announcer said. It was one of the former wonderbolt higher ups joined by the regular announcer for this cup. Scootaloo and Ace nodded to each other and took their posisitions.

"Hey Dash, do you think Scootaloo's gonna win this thing?" Rumble asked.

"She should." Rainbow Dash said.

"But then why is Shade here?" Apple Bloom said. With some help from Starlight Glimmer, everyone who was friends with Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash was able to watch the race.

"Now that you mention it, Shade, why are you here? Is there an assassin in the crowd?" Rainbow Dash asked the Pegasus in the mech suit.

"I wasn't alive when this race happened. No way was I going to miss something like this." Shade said. "Especially not if Scootaloo is in it." He added. Or more accurately, something that is very important that defined my birth mother more then anything else she ever did. He thought to himself. I want to witness the event for myself. He added to his thoughts.

"GET READY...GET SET...GO!" The other race announcer said. The three Pegasi were off without another word.

"Is everything going to be okay here? I mean, Wing Nut has been DQing ponies and now I'm worried about Scootaloo." Diamond Tiara said.

"Come on Diamond Tiara, this is Scootaloo your talking about; after everything she's gone through, you think some random pony's going to DQ her?" Silver Spoon asked her friend.

"I guess your right." Diamond Tiara said. Spoiled Rich was there too, and considering everything that had happened as of late, she was more then willing to let her daughter be with the CMC. After all, it was thanks to them that Insightful Wrath was stopped at the wedding so the wedding between Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Flash Sentry could go off without a hitch. So Spoiled Rich too was well aware of the trails Scootaloo had faced up to this point, and thus her entire perspective on Pegasus Ponies has changed.

To think, that used to be a Pegasus who could barely fly, and now look at her. After everything she's been through, it's iconic that today, she does the very thing that started her journey of personal growth: A race to the finish. Spoiled Rich thought to herself.

"Go Scootaloo!" Both Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles; Scootaloo's adoptive parents; cheered for their adoptive daughter.

The race continued without much incident, and soon, it was onto the final lap with Scootaloo in the lead, with Ace and Wing Nut basically neck and neck.

"I refuse to be behind a jerkass!" Wing Nut said before they suddenly hit Ace real hard and caused him to go spilling.

"! Ace!" Scootaloo shouted. The hit to Ace had injured his wing so Scootaloo did the only thing she could do: She blasted behind Wing Nut and grabbed Ace. Unfortunatly, this did allow Wing Nut to win.

"What the...flying a pony on the last lap...is this legal?" The regular announcer asked.

"Well it's most certainly not against the rules I can tell you that." The former wonderbolt higher up said.

"Scootaloo...what are you doing?" Ace asked.

"I think that a former wonderbolt cadet should finish the last Wonderbolt Cup race." Scootaloo said.

"You gave up the Wonderbolt Cup to save me..." Ace said.

"It's like I've told you before..." Scootaloo said as the two got closer to the finish line. "I'm not a killer. And no way was I going to let you die. Not like that." She added. Soon she dragged Ace over the finishline.

Sometime later, Ace was getting surgery to repair his broken wing.

"That's my little sister." Rainbow Dash said, giving Scootaloo a hug. The element of loyalty was joined in by the two's parents and Rumble too.

"Yeah. You did a good thing here Scootaloo. No doubt about it, you've got what it takes to get into the Sonicbolts when your older." Spitfire said.

"Thank you, Spitfire." Scootaloo said. Ace soon came in with the doctor.

"Seems I won't be able to fly for a while but...I'm going to be fine." Ace said. "You really...didn't have to do that Scootaloo..." He said.

"I'm too loyal not to do it." Scootaloo said, smiling.

"Seems I still got a long ways to go, if I'm ever going to be better then you. Not just in a race now, but I owe you big time." Ace said. "So, friends now?" He asked.

"Friends and rivals." Scootaloo said. "Next time we race, I want us to do so without any stakes." She said, shaking Ace's hoof.

"Now that, I can agree to. Just gonna need more training." Ace said.

Due to Scootaloo's actions, she would be the one receiving the Wonderbolt memorabilia instead of Wing Nut. Though speaking of said pegasus, due to his actions, Wing Nut is now a wanted pony.
