My Little Pony: The Prince of Friendship

It was the day after the Wonderbolt Cup events happened where Spitfire sees Soarin and Rainbow Dash heading for Sugarcube Corner.

"What are you two up to?" Spitfire asked.

"Spitfire, good timing. We were going to come to you after we talked with Pinkie Pie regarding something." Rainbow Dash said.

"Um...okay...guess I'll stick by for now..." Spitfire asked. The trio of Sonicbolts entered Sugar Cube Corner.

"Are you really sure you believe we can handle this?" Mr. Cake said.

"After working with you two for so long, I know you and your wife can handle the wedding party for Cheesy and I." Pinkie Pie said.

"Hey Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash said, approaching the pink party mare. "Just the one I needed to see. I was wondering if it'd be possible if you could do a double wedding event." Rainbow Dash said.

"Well...okay but...whose going to be getting married alongside me and Cheesy?" Pinkie Pie asked. Suddenly she started vibrating something fierce. "Whoa, I'm suddenly sensing a doozy of a doozy about to happen here at Sugarcube Corner." Pinkie Pie said.

"Well actually Pinkie Pie, the other couple will be Rainbow Dash and I." Soarin said.

"Wait, what brought this up? Look, I know Rainbow Dash hasn't been flying the best the past few weeks but I'll be damned if I let a bad time of the year after what we've been through make her get discharged from the Sonicbolts. Hell, I'd even let her have a child and still be a Sonicbolt." Spitfire said.

"Be careful what you say, Captain..." Soarin said under his breath.

"Huh? What'd you just say Soarin?" Spitfire asked.

"Actually Spitfire, there's a more...personal reason for why I haven't been flying at my best the past few weeks." Rainbow Dash said. "Because the thing is, the whole reason why me and Soarin need a wedding a soon as possible is because..." She said. "...And I'm so getting a lot of flak from Rarity on this later, but...I'm pregnant." She concluded. Spitfire's jaw dropped.

"You mean...but when were you going to tell anyone?" Spitfire asked.

"I had plans to reveal this fact at the party Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich through for Tempest Shadow because of Twilight being pregnant but...then Cheese Sandwich proposed to Pinkie Pie so I decided against upstaging my best friend right then and there." Rainbow Dash said.

"It's nice to know your loyalty knows no bounds even still." Spitfire said. "That is a doozy, I'll give your friend that." She added.

"But I'm still sensing a big doozy yet to come!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed.

"What?! What could possibly in the whole wide world top THAT news?" Spitfire asked.

"Actually Spitfire, the reason we wanted to talk to you is because we'd like you to be the child's Lunar Mother." Soarin said. Not only did Spitfire's jaw drop a second time, but NOW Pinkie Pie's body expanded a bunch all over before she and the cakes too had their jaws on the floor. Even Cheese Sandwich who just came in to see what the commotion was about.

"I-it would be my honor..." Spitfire said, clearly caught off guard by this news. "Though, maybe Rainbow Dash should have an engagement ring before you two marry." She added.

"Why bother? We both already know what my answer would be regardless. Besides, as you know, I'm not big on the usual romance sappy stuff." Rainbow Dash said.

"I guess your right. Why bother with the engagement if the answer is obvious?" Spitfire asked.

"It's tradition. But this is also Rainbow Dash we're talking about. Always flying straight into whatever she puts her mind to." Soarin said.

"Good point. Guess I'll just have to put you on medical leave until the baby's born." Spitfire said.

"Hey!" Lightining Dust suddenly came in. "Why not me as the Lunar Mother?" She asked.

"You heard all that?" Spitfire asked.

"Settle down. Actually Lighting Dust, I had a special request I needed to ask of you." Rainbow Dash said. "Think you can break the sound barrier at the double wedding?" She asked. Lightning Dust's eyes went wide.

"You...you want me to do that by myself there?" Lightning Dust asked.

"It'll make the double wedding 20% cooler." Rainbow Dash said.

"You had me at doing it at your wedding; it'll be my honor." Lightning Dust said.

Things were looking bright for the sonicbolt couple.
