Diamond Tiara was a bit late getting here, but finally, she was here at Sweet Apple Acres for the Apple Family Reunion. She had been personally invited by Apple Bloom for reasons the pink mare had no clue for. Diamond Tiara's mind returned to a bit earlier this morning.

Earlier that day...

"Diamond Tiara, a bit of a word before you go." Spoiled Rich said to her daughter.

"What's up mother?" Diamond Tiara asked.

"I just want to let you know, that despite everything I've put you through, I can't be more prouder then I am right now of you. You helped take out Insightful Wrath and assisted with the defenses against those Darkling Creatures alongside the CMC. So if your going out to go see them again...you don't need to say your going to hang out with Silver Spoon anymore." Spoiled Rich said.

"You knew?!" Diamond Tiara exclaimed.

"I'm your mother; it would be hard for me not to figure it out eventually but...it doesn't matter. Not anymore. Go. Go hang out with your friends." Spoiled Rich said.

"Thanks mom. Love you." Diamond Tiara said. "Oh...but...there is one thing I need to say before I leave..." She said.

"What's that?" Spoiled Rich asked.

"I...believe I may be gay..." Diamond Tiara said, waiting for the insults.

"That's fine dear. After everything you've been through, if you really do find yourself to be gay, I will support you like I should have from the beginning." Spoiled Rich said. Diamond Tiara was shocked.

"...Thanks mom...love you lots." Diamond Tiara said and left without another word.

Present time...

Diamond Tiara was drawn from her thoughts when she noticed things at the reunion weren't looking well. Applejeack went up to Diamond Tiara and started whispering to her.

"Scootaloo told me to tell you to go to the clubhouse and knock on the door in morse code; the signal is S.O.S." Applejack said. "You'll find out what happened once your there." She added. Diamond Tiara nodded and went to the clubhouse and did as told.

"That's the signal. I got it." A very familiar voice said. Once the owner opened the door, Diamond Tiara's suspicion was confirmed: It was Babs Seed. "Quick, get in." Babs Seed said. DT didn't need to be told twice.

Inside Apple Bloom was in the center of her friends as well as Silver Spoon, Rumble, and Spike. Babs Seed soon joined the circle.

"What's going on? I know I got here late, but I wasn't going to miss this for the world." Diamond Tiara said.

"It's got nothing to do with you being late Diamond. I had a feeling your mom was going to make you late. I even mentioned as much to Bloom here." Silver Spoon said. "But this isn't about that. Notice somepony missing?" She asked. Diamond Tiara looked around.

"Hey yeah, your right? Where's Button Mash?" Diamond Tiara asked.

"If your mom hadn't have made you late, you would know, but can't fix that. So I'll just start from the beginning." Scootaloo said.

Also earlier that day...

The Apple Family reunion was underway and it was looking like a blast. That is, until all of a sudden...

"WHAT?!"

Apple Bloom's voice rang out; and it's loudness rivaled that of the Canterlot Royal Voice.

"I'm just saying that if you moved in with me, there would be a way for us to play video games together." Button Mash said.

"Button Mash, how could you ever suggest that I move off the farm! Even the bare mentioned of it is sickening!" Apple Bloom said; her accent had left her suddenly. It was clear she was really upset.

"There's nothing here that would allow us to play video games. So why bother being here?" Button Mash asked.

"Button Mash, I understand your a video game wizard and that's what you got your cutie mark in after winning that video game tournament that me and the other girls helped you achieve, but I just can't leave the place where I was born. Home is where the heart is, and my heart belongs to the farm above all else." Apple Bloom said.

"I see..." Button Mash said. "...Well thanks for the assist with the tournament then, but I think this is where we split up." Button Mash said.

"Sp-split up?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Yeah. Hope we'll still be friends." Button Mash said.

"...Get off the farm..." Apple Bloom said, her accent suddenly returning.

"Huh?" Button Mash said, confused. That is when Apple Bloom shouted a second time.

"AH SAID GET OFF THE FARM!"

Button Mash didn't need to be told twice after being yelled at like that by Apple Bloom and was off like a rocket. Afterwards, Apple Bloom began to tear up and race to the clubhouse with Babs Seed, Silver Spoon, Spike, Rumble, and Sweetie Belle right behind her.

"Applejack, can you give Diamond Tiara a message for us when she gets here?" Scootaloo said. After a nod from Applejack confirmed it, Scootaloo gave her the message.

Present Day...

"After that, I joined everyone here and had Babs work the door after locking it." Scootaloo said. "We need Apple Bloom to clam down from this but I got nothing." She said. Diamond Tiara approached Apple Bloom and suddenly pulled the farm pony into a hug.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you, Apps. That colt is a jerk and a fool. Only a fool would dare split up with you. But your strong. You'll get through this. I know you will. If you can put up with the way I was for so long and still be my friend, then you can get through this too." Diamond Tiara said. At this, Apple Bloom started to break down into tears. "There there...just cry it out Apps. Just cry it out." Diamond Tiara said.

It was coming into Evening Time. Applejack just came by to deliver supper by using the code knock, and Apple Bloom was feeling much better now after crying it out and eating.

"Deets, thanks so much for helping me out just then. You've really changed a lot." Apple Bloom said.

"I couldn't have done it alone, that much is sure." Diamond Tiara said.

"Ah think everypony understands that they'll have to stay over here for an extra day, but it's fine." Apple Bloom said. "After all, now the reason why you were called over here will have to wait until tomorrow." She said. "Ah was thinking that, after everything from before this morning, ya should be named and honorary Apple." Apple Bloom said.

"I'd like that." Diamond Tiara said, putting a hoof around Apple Bloom. "And I'm glad your feeling better." Diamond Tiara said.

"Did ya really mean all that stuff though? About me being strong?" Apple Bloom asked. What Diamond Tiara did next, surprised everyone.

"Ah meant what ah said; yer the strongest filly ah’ve come to know. Not just physically, but mentally too. So don't let anyone tell ya anything any different, ya hear?" Diamond Tiara asked, her voice suddenly an accurate mimic of the accent Apples used.

"Deets, how long have you been practicing that?" Apple Bloom asked.

"For quite a while now. Ever since ya helped me see the light, I've been practicing in the mirror almost everyday. Ah was hoping to surprise ya with this on yer birthday with it, but...circumstances forced ma hoof." Diamond Tiara said.

"Diamond Tiara..." Apple Bloom felt happy tears on her face and then tackled the rich filly into a hug.

"OOF!" Diamond Tiara said.

"That means so much to me, thank you...thank you so much!" Apple Bloom said. Diamond Tiara smiled.

She had a really good feeling about the future between her and Apple Bloom now. After all, Button Mash's loss was her gain.

At least now I can actually try to see if she can love me like I have grown to love her... Diamond Tiara thought to herself.
