Previously, Twilight and Flash Sentry encountered the Ex Con Artist who has legally changed his name to "Second Periculum". Revealing to the duo that his real name is something else, he then said that Rarity was not the first to figure out his real name.

"By the way, did you know the latin word for 'chances' is Periculum? True fact. I would've made my entire name latin, but there exists no latin word for the world 'second'." Second Periculum said.

"I see...so that's why after the day your life changed forever, you made your name 'Second Periculum'...it's latin for 'second chances'." Flash Sentry said.

"So if Second Periculum isn't your real name...what is?" Twilight said before suddenly the stallion removed the hat he was wearing, only for his horn to be revealed to be naught but a prosthetic. "What on Eques..." Twilight said.

"...My real name...my one true name..is Broken Record. I was born with a broken horn. One day I was given a prosthetic horn, but the doctors said I would never be able to use magic my entire life. In that sense, I'm no different then an earth pony. So I tried making money a different way." Second Periculum said.

"You conned ponies..." Twilight said.

"I did that...until I was about the age of fourteen. It was then, that I found myself against an Ursa Major. No joke. Not the baby one that I heard you calmed down that one time. I'm talking a full grown adult. It gravely wounded me, and I was a very low chance of survival." Second Periculum said. "In fact, five weeks went by with no change in my brain activity. The doctors all classified me as legally dead. So they went to remove the machines. As soon as they pulled the plug though, the strangest thing happened." Second Periculum said.

"You somehow suddenly woke up; fully healed and wide awake...didn't you?" Twilight said.

"That's right. I know we usually look at Alicorns like yourself and worship them as gods but that day...that day a real god must have saved me. It's the only explanation. For one reason or another, a real god thought that I; a con artist; was worth saving. That day, that was the day my life changed. The first thing I saw after I woke up, was a suit covered with gems. I looked for fashion designers all over, and for the first time, I actually removed myself from my past and actually got to know those designers as what they really were: Ponies. Ponies with jobs. It was not about the money for any of them, but rather for the happiness they bring with their designs. But each one not only wasn't the one who made that suit, they also found out my real identity. Rarity's business is my current stop on my search. But perhaps, once more I am wrong. She is most likely not the one who made that suit. And she also has found out my real name. Perhaps my search will never end; perhaps the one who made that suit has since passed away. But I won't falter. I simply MUST find out who made that suit; for that suit was the first thing I saw when I finally woke from my coma, and it changed my life forever." Second Periculum said. Suddenly behind him was Rarity, and she was in tears, happy tears, but tears none the less.

"...Seems she heard everything..." Flash Sentry said.

"Rarity...I..." Second Periculum started.

"The...the suit...may I look at it?" Rarity said.

"I beg your parden?" Second Periculum said.

"I'll be able to tell you who made it...just show it to me." Rarity said. Second Periculum nodded, knowing he had no choice. He brought forth the suit in question.

"Wait...isn't...isn't that..." Twilight said, recognizing the design right away.

"Yes...it's one of mine..." Rarity said.

"It...it was you?!" Second Periculum said.

"Yes...yes it was." Rarity suddenly put her arms around Second Periculum.

"But..." Second Periculum started to say.

"Shut up and kiss me already!" Rarity said before making him do so.

"I think we should get going...I think these two can work things out from here." Flash Sentry said.

"Plus, we got the two to actually come together. Total win-win. Second Periculum finally finds the mare who inspired his second chance, and Rarity finds a Stallion who isn't after her for her buisness." Twilight said.

"I'm going to have to throw a 'coltfriend party' for this guy later. I guess Rarity's going to be busy today. Later!" Pinkie Pie said and left.

"Where is SHE going?" Flash asked.

"I think I know...come on." Twilight said and thus the duo left for the castle.
