Hunter's POV

So, After sitting down to think for awhile I decided what needed the most attention at the moment.

"Well, I guess I need to figure out where exactly I am, during my dream talk with God, he said something quite worrying. He said that the world I am in was introduced to me by my sister, just hope wherever I am It's not some girls fantasy land... But I'm a dragon, so there must be more dragons, so even if it is a fantasy land, I'm just fine with it."

Now, what's the best way to go about figuring out my location?

"I think I'm gonna grab a rifle from from the basement, It can offer me some protection incase anything dangerous stops by, and I can use the scope to survey the surrounding landscape."

So, I moved the rug away from the living room floor, and opened the trap door that led to the basement. (What? When I built the place I decided I wanted a basement, but wanted it to be hidden from any potential burglars as a place to hide my valuables.) So after making my way down the ladder, I found myself in a room that held a few gun cabinets, (Yes I collect guns.) where I grabbed a simple wooden bolt action 223. varmint rifle.

"This thing should protect form any wild animals... at least according to earths standards, I really have no idea how a dragons scales would hold up to a bullet." I said as I was about to close the cabinet, when I decided to grab a pistol and holster just incase I needed to scare something off, so I chose a .44 Cal black powder revolver.

After grabbing everything I wanted I headed back up the ladder, shut the trapdoor, and recovered it with the rug. So, heading out the door with Wolf at my heels, I Grabbed a ladder from the garage, well, I guess I should stop calling it a garage and start calling it a workshop. Anyways I set the ladder on the side of the house and climbed up onto the roof mentally noting that the solar panels were still on the other side of the roof like I thought, and that they looked fine. I stood up and swung my rifle off my shoulder then put the scope up to my eye, and proceeded to scan the surrounding horizon for any landmarks that I might have seen before, which was a lot easier now that trees weren't in the line of sight.

Lets see here, mountain with trees, mountain with trees, valley with trees, grassy hills, mou... wait...

"Is that a castle?" I asked myself as I extended the range on the scope and noticed what the castle looked like, the white castle with gold and purple highlights was perched on the side of a mountain with half of it hanging off supported by struts that should never be able to hold its weight, and there seemed to be a waterfall that flowed out of the mountain and through the castle, and I recognized it immediately."

"Am I seeing things? "I asked as a huge smile made its way onto my face. "Wow... I always wondered what it would be like to live in Equestria, but I never thought it could happen!"

I'm kinda glad I only browsed through the episodes. I have a general understanding of things, and I've seen the major villain fights, and a few of the other episodes but I really don't know much about the timeline, or anything else. I wonder how far after the first episode I am?

Too stunned and happy to say anything else I made my way back down the ladder and returned it to the workshop. While I was doing this I was making a list of everything I needed and wanted to do, but while that was happening my stomach decided to let me know what my next course of action needed to be.

"Hmm, guess its time to start lunch" I said as I shut the front door. "Hmm, I think I'll cook up some of the trout I was thawing out in the fridge. Its been two days so they should be ready for the skillet."

Opening the fridge I pulled out the Tupperware container that held a gallon sized freezer bag that now held water and six headless, tailless trout. "Hmm, I'll only need about two, or at least I would normally eat two, well, I guess I'll cook all of them just incase my new body came with an increased my appetite."

Now, what else do I got, I'm in the mood for at least a few greens. I thought as I laid three trout on a cast-iron skillet along with dome vegetable oil and butter, then switched on the stove. Reaching up and opening the cabinet that held cans of vegetables I started scanning through them while checking behind the ones in the front. "Hmm, no no no nope aha! collard greens, perfect! I'll just microwave them in a bowl, then add some Tabasco."

After opening the can of collard greens, and pouring them into a bowl, I set them in the microwave but decided to wait until the fish were done, needed them to cool of anyways and didn't want to have to reheat the greens,

I may have solar panels, but that doesn't mean I can just use electricity all willy nilly, the batteries should be able to handle normal use for a day or two without a recharge, but Its still good practice to only use what I need. I thought as I flipped the trout. Then I had a thought which I had no answer for. "Hmm, I wonder how well the solar panels will charge under the Equestrian sun, well I haven't lost power yet, Ill give it another day, but I don't expect any issues."

Noticing that the first set of trout were done I grabbed the skillet and slid the trout onto a plate, noticing that I barely noticed the heat coming from the metal handle. "Well, I guess being a dragon comes with heat resistance, good thing to seeing as I just grabbed the skillets handle, I mean come on how dumb can I be." After placing the other three trout into the pan I started thinking about the solar panels which brought me to a starting revelation.

"Well, unless I'm in a future version of Equestria I'm not going to be able to claim all of this is mine without revealing that I'm not your normal everyday dragon..." I said as I started thinking of what my story should be when I meet the locals. "Well, I'm not going to abandon this place, I've put to much work into it to just leave it behind. I guess I could claim to be from the future... but then Id have to burn all the pictures I've got with humans in them.. which is most of them." After thinking through a few more cover stories I decided the best course of action.

"Well, I guess the only thing to do is to tell the truth. Unless I'm in a future version of the show I'm just going to have to tell the truth, besides (chuckle) I cant tell a lie to save my life." I said as I set the microwave for a minute. As it was running I slid the last of the trout onto the plate with the others. Once I heard the microwave finish I Grabbed the greens and set them on the kitchen table along with the plate of trout and an extra plate to set the bones on, next I grabbed a Bottle of Tabasco out of a cabinet and grabbed a fork and knife. As I was headed back to the table I stopped by the fridge and grabbed a can of coke. Sitting down at the table I started eating and It was wonderful, just added a little salt and pepper to the trout, and a little lemon juice then they were perfect. after I got done with one I would throw the skin down to Wolf, who to his credit as a good dog, and to mine as a great trainer he hadn't begged once.

After finishing three trout I found that My appetite hadn't changed, normally I would have eaten two, but all I had for breakfast this morning was a banana so I guess I was running on empty. After putting the extra trout in the fridge I turned the hot water on in the sink and was about to start doing dishes when I heard something I really wasn't expecting.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Someone was knocking on my door.

OK guys, I need your thoughts. my plan is to post 1/2k word chapter words every day or two, than after reaching a good point grouping those small chapters into 10k word chapters for the people who like listening to stories on their phones, from my personal experience its annoying to have to hit next every 5 mins. So, please let me know what you think about this Idea!
