---------------___________Twilight's chamber- 4 days before 1000th Summer Sun celebration___________---------------

It almost two years passed since Chrysalis' coronation, which meant Twilight would have to face her sister soon enough. The princess and her adopted daughter alongside her students worked together to stop Nightmare Moon from bringing the Eternal Night to Equestria. With the help of Twilight and the two ponies, her magic improved a lot since her first arrived, she could even use powerful spells to attack and protect herself easily.

The idea of adopting the changeling seem crazy and could be unacceptable by her ponies, but none of them protested. Since that, the newly crowned changeling princess had tried her best to prove herself worthy. She tried to make friends, helped ponies, and her mother with their works. Her mother already warned her ponies about her sister's return to Canterlot's resident in case of something bad happen to her.

Yesterday, Chrysalis got her mother inform about her trip to Ponyville with her friends to find and use the Elements. The princess prepared carefully for her 'trip' which was dangerous. To their research, the Elements located in the old castle inside the Everfree Forest, five elements had turned to stone and the last Element, Magic disappeared long ago. Her mission was to bring the Elements back to defeat the corruption inside the night princess.

"Chrysalis, are you ready yet? I want to give you some things for your trip." Said Twilight to her daughter

"Yes, mother. I'll go out of the room right now" Answered Chrysalis as she lifted her carriage and exited the room and met her mother

"Here, daughter. This list and map will help you. Aside from your main work, can you help me with the work in the list here? They are the ones who prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration"

"Umm ok mom, I'll try my best"

"Goodluck to you, I'll wait for the good news from you and your friends"

"Goodbye, mother"

---------------___________Ponyville___________---------------

"Wow, the town was so different from Canterlot" Surprised Luna as she walked out of the train station "We should go explore this town"

"Yeah, we should spend a day exploring here, I would like to take some notes about this village and give those to the princess." Said Celestia cheerly to share her experiences in Ponyville with her teacher

"Exploring here would be fun, but we should go to the town hall to meet the mayor first, mother said she will give us a key to enter this town library where we will stay on our trip" Chirped Chrysalis excitedly

The trio made their way to the first pony in the list, the princess already written about their Elements represent but they weren't the bearers. 'I wonder why we should go to this place while they aren't the bearers, was mother hiding something from me?' Thought Chrysalis

Arrived at Rarity's boutique, Chrysalis, Luna and Celestia stepped in and got surprised by the diversity of dresses. The changeling had heard about this mare before but hadn't had any chance to go here. If her mother was right, this pony represents generosity in the society

"Oh, welcome to my boutique."Said Rarity as she turned her back to the guess just to realize who she talking to "Sorry, your highness. I haven't thought that you would be here" the purple mane unicorn panicked

"It's ok, I'm here to check your work for my mother's celebration"

"Oh, here, your highness. There are the things I prepared for the celebration" Pointed Rarity to the decoration

"By the way, can I see some of your clothes? I always wanted to try some that you made by hoof" Asked the changeling

"Of course, your highness. You and your friend can choose some, it's my gift for you" Said Rarity kindly

"Thank you, you are so generous" Thanked Celestia

"Your welcome, Miss"

The trio left the boutique with some clothes, their next stop was Sugarcube corner, where the pink pony, Pinkie Pie lived there. Entered the house, a smell caught their attention

"Wow, this smell delicious" Said Celestia

"Thank you, many ponies like eating cakes here." Said Pinkie Pie as she looked at them "OH MY GOSH, are you three new here?" She earned nods from both ponies and changeling "This means we will have a party" The two ponies and changeling looked at each other in confusion

"What do you mean?" Asked Chrysalis

"I often organize a party for ponies, especially who is new here" Smiled Pinkie widely as she jumped around her new guests

"Really? We're going to have a welcome party? Will it have any cakes? Asked Celestia with her eyes shone brightly

"Of course, why not? But now I'll have to prepare for the celebration first, you can come there, it will be organized in a few days"

"Ok, thank you for the information. We are here due to my mother inform to check on your work" Said Chrysalis, who looked at the cakes "By the way, can I have some too? These cakes look delicious"

"About my work, it nearly finished, I only have to make one more five-tier cake." Said Pinkie "And of course, I'll give you some cakes" Smiled Pinkie Pie

After finishing the cakes, they exited the corner and head to the next place

"Wow, that pony was so weird but also funny too." Said Luna

"Of course, she represents laughter in this community after all, but she wasn't the bearer, just like Rarity. I still wonder why mother forced us to go meet the ponies here" Said Chrysalis in disappointment

Their trip to the others was well, or at least no problem was made, but the young changeling still didn't know why the princess gave her this task, she could give to the other, why it should be her?. 'Maybe mother wanted me to learn from them?' Asked Chrysalis to herself

---------------___________Ponyville- 1000th Summer Sun celebration___________---------------

The five ponies readied well for the celebration, everything seems to be ok until the Chrysalis noticed the pony mark on the Moon disappeared.

"Look, girls. The mark already disappeared, it looks like Nightmare Moon already back. I hope my mother would be ok" Hoped Chrysalis

"Don't worry, Chrysalis. She would be ok, we already prepared for this so everything will just fine" Encouraged Luna

The trio went back to enjoy the celebration until a purple smoke appeared on the podium and formed into a tall Alicorn

"Hello 'my little ponies', are you waiting for your princess? Don't waste your time waiting for her, she isn't going to come here" Smirked the new Alicorn "Oh, don't be sad, from now on, I'll be your new ruler"

"Who are you? What have you done to the princess?" Said Mayor Mare "Guards, catch her"

"Fools, don't you know who I am? My little sister should have warned you all about my return, she was not a careless pony" Angrily shouted the dark Alicorn as she used her mane to pushed the guards away

"We know who you are. You are Nightmare Moon, Princess Twilight's big sister" Said Luna

"Well well well, look like somepony still remember me" Laughed Nightmare Moon "But that wouldn't change that I'm the princess here" The alicorn turned to smoke again and flew back to the Forest

"Girls, let get out of here, we need to save my mother as soon as we can." Said Celestia

The trio left the hall and headed to the forest, where Nightmare Moon was watching them. Walking toward a river, they noticed a turtle was pressed down by a fallen tree. He couldn't escape himself as Celestia used her magic to lift the tree out and place it in the river. The white unicorn even gave it her food. After finished eating, the little creature seems thankful for her action as it nodded and left.

The ponies and changeling continued their trip to the castle as they found a group of unicorns in the forest. They seem feared

"Are you ok?" Asked Luna to the ponies

"No, we aren't. This forest is so dangerous" Said one of the ponies

"It's ok, let me help to cheer you all up" Said Luna as she used her magic to made animals shape

"Wow, they look impressive. Can you join our group? We are traveling around Equestria to perform magic"

"Sorry, but I can't join you. I still have my work here"

"You don't want to be famous? If you go with us, you will get famous, but if you choose them you will never be famous like us. So who will you choose?" Said a pony

"I choose.... them" Pointed Luna to her friend "I'm sorry but I can't bring myself to betray my friends"

"Fine, whatever. We can't force you anyway"

Walking deeper into the forest, they finally got to the castle. Entered, they realized how big it was

"This is going to take a long time for us to locate the Elements. Should we divided to find the Elements?" Asked Luna to the others

"I think we shouldn't, it dangerous to be alone. As you can see, Nightmare Moon defeated my mother, who we already know how strong she is. So we should work in a team, this may take longer but it still safer for us"

The team went around the castle until they found a room that had five stone balls inside

"That must be the Elements" Said Chrysalis

The group approached the balls only to be pushed back by the purple smoke

"Look like somepony and a creature had followed me here. Who are you young creature?" Asked Nightmare Moon

"I'm Chrysalis, your sister's adopted daughter" Answered the changeling

"Hmm, that was unexpected. But even if you are my niece I'm not going to spare you so easily. How about a little deal, Hmm? If you agree to serve me I'll spare you and your partners' life"

"I'll never serve you" Shouted Chrysalis, who prepared her magic and teleported both her and her friends to the Elements

"Don't waste your time. The last Element had disappeared a long time ago"

"But I know how to bring it back. Now I know why my mother wanted me to contact the ponies here, they had shown their goods and looked again to ourself, each of us represents two Elements of total six" Said Chrysalis as she turned to Celestia "Celestia, who showed her kindness and generosity to the in-need turtle" The Elements of Kindness and Generosity shone then joined and turned to a golden headband which just look like a crown "Luna, who showed laughter by cheering the unicorns up and loyalty when she had to choose between us and those unicorns" Laughter and Loyalty shone and also turned to the golden headband

"But the final Elements still not appeared" Feared Nightmare Moon

"The final Element already here." Magic appeared in the air, turned into the crown as Honesty turned into a necklace.

The Elements began to shine once again and a beam of rainbow shot out. It surrounded the Night princess like a tornado, blocked her view. After that, everything went white and the changeling lost her consciousness. Outside the window, the sun began to rise, as light moved into the castle, it dimmed and reveal Twilight

Awoke a little while later to find herself laid on the cold stone floor, Twilight approach and helped the changeling and her friends stood up after a strong rainboom took place in the castle. A familiar voice caught their attention, it wasn't filled with venom but regret

"Sister, I'm so sorry for letting myself clouded with hatred, even though I told you that I would protect you but I nearly hurt you" Cried Nightmare

"Moony, it's ok, I forgive you. Nopony is uncorrupted" The younger princess hugged her elder sister

"Thank you, my little star" Said Nightmare, who returned the hug

"We should go back to Ponyville now, I think they would be worried sick for me" Chuckled Twilight

"I think it's better for me to stay here" Said Nightmare "I don't know if the ponies will forgive me for what I have done"

"It's ok sister, I will explain to them if we need to"

"Thank you, sister"

The ponies and changeling teleported back to the village, the elder sister was surprised by the friendliness of the ponies, which was quite different from the time she used to rule. Enjoyed the first celebration after years, the elder sister tried to adapt to this new world. To her surprise, the ponies due to Twilight explanation had forgiven her

"Well, Moony. That is a good start for you, many ponies enjoy your night now so don't worry about it. The other problems I'll fix for you until you're good enough to do your duty. And one final thing I always wanted to say" Paused Twilight shyly as she tried her best to talk "that I missed you a lot, from the day you went, I always thought that we couldn't be sisters again, but luckily that didn't happen, all thank them" The younger princess looked to the trio then her sister

Author's Note

Some parts of this chapter sound childish, forgive me for that. I had an idea about those parts but I don't know how to describe them correctly
