Rooster Bennett was several things to different people. A lover, a son, a brother, and a great friend. When his decision to mess around with Mary came back to bite him he'd done the one thing he could do at the moment. He left. He feared what Nick would do to his family, and so he took off for a while. He never realized that it was the last thing he'd do on Earth as he knew it. A rainy night, a late night craving for a McRib, and a motorcycle crash later found him in a world that he believed belonged only on the television screen.
