This is a crossover with Deltorix's story, A New Cipher but the full story isn't ready to be posted yet so you may have to wait for it but as soon as it is I'll add the link to this story.

A New Cipher Meets A Baby Jaguar

Kipo just stared at the human sitting next to her, an amused smile on his face while Angel stood in front of her, his little paws held up as if he was ready to fight this stranger who just appeared in his home. ’What?! How is there a human here?! Humans don’t exist in My Little Pony!’ Kipo thought in shock.

The human chuckles and pets Angel. “Relax little one, I have no interest in hurting her, just to speak with her, however, we need some privacy.” He snaps his fingers and everything around them turns gray and freezes, even the fire in the fireplace.

Kipo looked at everything in shock before looking at the human. ’How the heck did he do that?!’ she thought then the infant part of her mind was starting to grow fearful of this man and to be honest, she was too.

He smiled at Kipo and bowed his head. “Greetings young one, you can call me Cipher, I am like you in a way. I came to give you a little help and information. Normally I do charge for my help as it is part of my dealings however as you are currently an infant we will just say that you owe me a favor or two in the future.” He chuckled softly before tapping her forehead. “There now you can speak with your thoughts, just focus on me when you want me to hear what you're thinking.”

Kipo slowly nodded before doing as he said and focused on him, ’H-how did you get here?’ she asked him.

He taps his chin before he smiles and draws a light of light in the air. “To explain that I have to dive into multiverse theory, but I will keep it simple. This line is your world, past, present and future. Now alongside this world are-” He waves his hand and the room is filled with bright colorful lines, some even looping into knots. “-An infinite number more, I come from another world.” He pokes a line that grows to a screen showing ponies. “This one specifically.”

Kipo nodded her head in understanding before she asked another question. ’So why are you here? I’m not that interesting or special cause, well,’ Kipo let out a small babble to make her point.

Cipher chuckles and kneels down making all the lines disappear. “You and I are alike in one way. You and I are what’s known as Displaced, short for dimensionally misplaced. We are taken from our homeworlds, given powers, abilities, or in your case a whole new body. I came because I saw you have been de-aged to an infant, I can age you up to your normal age or if you wish to stay like this I can protect your memories. If you wish that is.”

Kipo was about to say that she wanted to be back to her original age but then thought against it, it would be pretty hard to explain to Fluttershy why the baby she found was suddenly grown up. Plus, she was kinda having a bit of fun being a baby, it was also relaxing as she didn’t have that many responsibilities she used to have. ’I think I’ll stay like this.’ she said, well thought, to him.

Cipher nods his head. “Alright, well if that's what you want, then I just need to add a few layers of protection for you.” He reached his arm into…the air as it disappears and he looks like he is digging for something. “Hmm ah, here it is!” He pulls his arm back and this time he is holding a copy of the cane he was already holding. “This is my Token, you can use it to call for my help if you ever need me, but I will be making it so other tokens won’t arrive in your world till you are hmmm let's say sixteen.” He lays the cane next to Kipo.

Kipo just stares at the cane in curiosity. ’So a Token is like a phone for Displaced?’ she asked him.

Cipher nods his head. “That's right young one, I will also make it so you won’t be able to make a Token till you are sixteen. There are some dangerous Displaced out there. I would hate to see an innocent girl like you get dragged into a fight.” He then taps his cane on her head.

’Just how dangerous are we talking about?’ she asked him, a bit worried that sometime in the future she might meet a really bad Displaced. ’Like simple psycho bad or Thanos or Darkseid bad?’

He taps his chin and looks around before poking the air, opening a triangle window to a world filled with monsters, large green monsters using sharp blades to kill ponies and anything else that moves. “True evil, but also-” he swipes his hand, and the image changes to show a power ranger fighting a purple psycho ranger. “-true heroes as well. There are good and bad people out there, some were changed when they arrived, others were tempted by the new powers they acquired.”

Kipo nodded fearfully yet relieved there were some good Displaced out there. ’That’s good to know.’ she thought.

He nods and smiles. “But you won’t have to worry about that, now any more questions?”

’Well kinda, what will happen next?’ she asked him. ’Like will you go back to your world and I will continue living my new life here?’

He nods his head. “Yes, I have a city to run after all.” He chuckles before adding. “You will be free to live your life here but remember two things, first not all Equestrias are like the tv show, and second your uncle Cipher is just a call away.” He said with a smirk.

’Ok, I will try to remember that!’ Kipo said, a bit glad she had someone that can help her when she needs it.

“I am sure you will.” He chuckles with a wink then he stands up and fixes his tie. “Now then I think it's time I meet Miss Shy. unless you wish to speak about anything else?”

Kipo shook her head, ’No I don’t, but why do you need to talk to Fluttershy?’

“She is a pony, true one that has lots of experience taking care of animals, but there is no information in this world about humans. She would not know how to raise you properly. I merely wish to give her some advice and guidance.” He said then he snapped his fingers and time resumed.

Angel still looked ready to fight Cipher as he jumped and gave him a strong kick to his arm before squeaking angrily at him before Kipo grabbed him and began to pet him in order to calm him down. “Bunby!” she said as Angel still glared at Cipher.

Cipher smiles down at Angel and waves his hand before making a carrot appear. “How about a deal little bunny, this delicious carrot for the simple favor of you getting the mistress of this home.”

Angel looked at the carrot and at Cipher crossing his arms and looking away. Not interested in the deal. “Hmm, a tough bunny alright, what if I throw in a little girlfriend for yourself?” Cipher said with a smirk.

Angel glanced at him but still refused. Cipher sighed before saying. “Do it and I will give you the carrot and not tell the whole town about Fluttershy’s dark secret.” Cipher said as his one eye changed from having a normal pupil to a yellow slit.

Angel froze at that before giving Cipher a look that said, ‘you wouldn’t dare.’ While Kipo just looked confused, what secret did Fluttershy have that would make Angel freeze like that.

Cipher gave a look back at Angel that said ‘Try me little man’ while spinning the carrot in his fingers. “Well?”

Angel nodded his head in agreement, he really didn’t want Fluttershy’s secret getting out, it would bring bad news if it did. He then hopped off the couch and up the stairs. A few minutes later, Angel returned with Fluttershy behind him, a worried look on her face. “Y-you wanted to t-talk with me?” she asked him fearfully.

Cipher smiles softly and tosses the carrot to Angel. “Yes, I am Cipher.” He said as his eye returned to normal. “I am just here to give you a bit of help to raise my niece.”

Fluttershy’s eyes widened a bit at that. “O-oh! You mean Kipo is y-your niece?” she asked him, relieved to see that Kipo had some family. “Then do y-you know what happened to her parents?”

“I am afraid it is more complicated than that. When I called her my niece it was more of an adoptive term. We are not related by blood I'm afraid but as you can see we are of the similar species.” He said before sighing. “I am sorry to say she has been taken from her home and changed from what she once was to what she is now. She needs a safe loving home to keep her safe, but also will let her explore her new abilities and grow strong.” Cipher smiles down at Kipo. “She is going to grow up to be something amazing.”

Fluttershy was curious about the whole new abilities thing but she thinks she knows what he’s talking about. “Y-you’re talking about the whole e-ear changing thing?”

Cipher smirks. “Oh she can do so much more than that, she was turned into something amazing. Her future is going to be full of surprises but she needs a safe home to grow and become the woman she is meant to be.” He snaps his fingers as a few books appear out of nowhere. “These books will help you raise her, and to anyone else, they will look like a nature book.”

“O-ok.” she said as she opened one of the books. “H-how to teach Kipo to c-control her changes? You mean there’s g-gonna be more?”

They heard a fit of giggles and looked to see Kipo playing with her new tail, shocking Fluttershy while Cipher chuckles. “Oh yes, as I said, she will be full of surprises.”

“O-oh my, I’m a bit worried b-but I’ll do my best to w-watch over her.” Fluttershy said with a determined look as she walked over to Kipo and picked her up in her hooves.

Cipher taps his chin while looking out towards Canterlot, then he leans down and whispers into her ear. “You can trust Celestia, and in time Luna shall return, make sure to put your faith in the other five.”

Fluttershy was a bit confused by that but nodded her head. “O-ok I guess.” she said,

Cipher looks into his cane and hums. “I am just about out of time but there is just one more thing I want to do before I go.”

“A-and what’s that?” Fluttershy asked him.

Cipher claps his hand and when he opens his palms an orb appears. “A simple but useful gift.” He gives it to Flutershy and the orb melts away revealing a necklace.

“A necklace?” Fluttershy asked in confusion as she looked it over, the necklace was that of a jaguar’s head with amethyst being the eyes.

“This necklace will provide a calming aura around whoever is wearing it. That way it gives ponies a chance to get to know her before judging her no matter what she looks like. I'm sure someone like you can understand how useful a gift like this can be.” Cipher said with a wink and smile that showed sharp fangs before the fangs retract.

Fluttershy didn’t seem fazed by the fangs and just nodded her head. “Y-yes, I can already t-tell it will be useful.” she said, giving him a smile of gratitude. “Thank you.”

“Not a problem, well I must be going oh and your blue friend will arrive in three…two…one.” There is a knocking at the door, making Fluttershy look at the door but when she looked back at Cipher he was gone.

“Hey Fluttershy! You there?!” Rainbow Dash called from the other side of the door.

“J-just a minute!” Fluttershy called back as she looked at Kipo before flying up to her room and placing the baby on her bed, Angel hopping onto the bed as well after he followed the two. “Angel, watch over Kipo and make sure she doesn't attract attention to herself.” Angel gave a nod and Fluttershy flew back downstairs and opened the door. “R-Rainbow Dash, what b-brings you here?” she asked the pegasus nervously.

“What do you mean? It's Monday, I am here to give you the weekly weather schedule like always, and to see if you want to come watch me practice my flying.” Rainbow said with a smirk.

Fluttershy blushes in embarrassment at having forgotten about that. “O-oh, must have s-slipped my mind.” she said with a sheepish smile.

Rainbow frowns before pulling a schedule out of her saddlebag and giving it to Fluttershy. “Are you ok Shy? You seem, more stressed than usual.”

“J-just been a busy d-day for me is all.” Fluttershy said, though on the inside she hated having to lie to one of her closest friends but she had to if she wanted to protect Kipo from-she mentally shook her head, not wanting to think about them ever again.

Rainbow looked outside for a second before leaning in close. “Is somepony stalking you? Do I need to kick some stallion’s plot?”

“N-no! Nopony is s-stalking me Rainbow, I-I just had a very b-busy day is all.” Fluttershy said quickly, wondering why her friend would think such a thing.

“You know I care about you Shy. Ever since I caught that colt following you home in flight school, I have been protecting you.” Rainbow said.

Fluttershy remembered that event very clearly and nodded her head. “I-I know Rainbow, but I-I’m fine.” she said while giving the pegasus a reassuring smile.

Rainbow nods her head slowly. “Ok Shy, but you know you can always trust me.” She smiles,

Ciphers words ring in Fluttershy’s mind, ‘Put your faith in the other five.’

“I-I know, you’re my friend s-so I know I can trust you.” Fluttershy said with a smile.

Rainbow hugs Fluttershy and is about to leave but then Kipo starts to cry. “Huh? Is that a baby crying?”

Fluttershy began to panic a little. “O-oh, it’s just one o-of my animals f-friends babies, they’re really f-fussy today.” she lied, hoping Rainbow Dash would buy it.

Rainbow blinks and shakes her head. “I don’t know how you do it Shy, taking care of so many animals and their children? I would go nuts.” She said before a watch on her wrist beeps. “Oh buck, I gotta go. Good luck Shy, and remember you can always tell me anything.” Rainbow then flapped her wings and shot off into the sky leaving a rainbow trail behind her.

Fluttershy lets out a sigh of relief before she closed her door and quickly flew upstairs and into her room, “Kipo! What’s wrong?!” Fluttershy asked the girl as she picked her up and tried to calm her down. She also noticed Angel was holding his nose and had backed away from the two. “Angel? What’s going on?”

Angel points at Kipo while covering his nose then he hopped out of the room as fast as he could. Fluttershy was confused until she sniffed Kipo.

She then gagged a little as she used her wings to cover her nose. “O-oh, that’s why.” she said while Kipo still cried a little.

’This is so embarrassing!’ she thought in despair.

Fluttershy laid Kipo down and did her best to comfort her while she looked for something to change her with, realizing she only has animal care products, but then a miracle happened and she found a brand new case of diapers the perfect size too.

“Huh? Where did these come from?” she asked before shrugging and continuing to change Kipo’s diaper, still using her wings to cover her nose. Once she had cleaned Kipo’s bottom and thrown the dirty diaper away she put the new diaper on the baby. “There we go, all better?” she asked Kipo who nodded her head, still embarrassed.

Fluttershy then picked up the baby and brought her downstairs and sat her on the couch before looking at the books Cipher left her. “Maybe now would be a good time to see what you will be doing in the future.” she said as she grabbed the first book and sat down next to Kipo, who was playing with her tail again while her cat-like ears were out.
