Once in a Blue Moon

Chapter Four

Ok maybe not my best plan, but it was effective nonetheless I had finally ditched the Rainbow mare the bad news I was lost in a town I knew nothing about with a rage induced mare after me yeah what a great start to a great day.

“Ok just stay calm just gotta figure out where I am so I can get home” I was somewhere on the outskirts of ponyville near the everfree forest. I looked up a head and I could see a little cottage in the clearing with a bunch of little critters playing around it.

“Who would live this close to the everfree forest they must be on brave pony”

I walked up to the house and took a look around to see if anypony was home and when I turned the corner I saw a little yellow pegasus with bright pink hair and big blue eyes.

“Um hello could you tell me........” Before I could finish she let out a very soft and very frightened sound and then jumped into a bush

“epp”

“Um sorry for scaring you, but I was just wondering if you could tell me which way was east.

“...”

“Hello”

“....”

“Look i'm sorry if i scared you I didn't mean to its just been a really long day and all I want to do is get home”

She poked her head out of the bush this time “ I've never seen you in town before..................are you new ......if you don't mind me asking that is”

I was getting sick of all the questions, but something about her said I could trust her.

“Sigh” “No i'm not new i've lived near ponyville for quite sometime just on the outskirts of ponyville”

“Oh why do you do live so far from town” She was starting to inch her way out of her bush with each word.

“Its.....complicated and I don't feel like talking about it”

“Oh ok I will let you get going then”

I was about to leave, but something just kept telling me to talk to this mare and get it all out tell her everything.

“Wait...........it's these last couple of days have been very stressful some things have come up from my past”

She stopped and looked at me “If you want to talk about it I have some free time right now........that is if you want to”

“Thanks Ms.ummmm”

“Fluttershy”

“Fluttershy”I have a good feeling about this mare.

“Dangit I nearly had him oh when I get my hooves on him im gonna.......” That jerk of a pony had just barely slipped through her hooves and now she was looking all over for him.

“Rainbow did you find him yet?”

“No Twilight he’s gone probably booked it somewhere that coward”

“Well just keep a lookout he could still be around town somewhere hiding”

“Ayeya captain egghead” With that Rainbow dash zoomed off.

“Ok why don't you start from the beginning Mister ummmm i'm sorry I never asked your name”

“Thats ok Fluttershy and its Blue moon” I said as sat down on her couch.

“Ok Blue why don't you tell me about today..............thats if you want to” I didn't realize it before, but this mare is actually really shy.

“Ok where to begin............. I guess I should start with why i'm lost in the first place I was being chased by a rainbow colored mare and..............”

“Wait you were being chased by Rainbow dash why what did you do?” Oh so her name was Rainbow dash, but how did she know this mare.

“I may have kind of sort of yelled at one of her friends and then told her to leave me alone, but I have a question how do you know her?”

“Shes one of my best friends ever since we were young, but another question who did you yell at?”

“Oh I don't remember her name, but she was bright pink with bright pink puffy hair and a balloon cutie mark”

“Thats Pinkie pie another friends of mine” Crap figures I piss off the friends of the first new mare I meet that I want to be my friend.

“Ok Fluttershy i'm just gonna tell you what happened these last couple days, but not everything just the stuff you need to know ok?”

“Ok Blue”

“Ok so someone from my past that I haven't seen a really long time came back and I still couldn't face them so I ran away again before I could face her.......”

“Her?”

{Crap did I just say that}

“Um............ yes her anyway I was mad at myself, and I let it build and build until I met your friend Pinkie where I let it out and made her cry and after that I felt mad at myself, ashamed, and now guilty for yelling at a pony that didn't even do anything to deserve it” Wow I actually feel a little bit better for talking with her.

“Thats an interesting story Blue, but you have to go apologize to Pinkie” She was right I had to make things right with her.

“Your right Fluttershy just one problem I don't have a clue where she even is” I said hanging my head in defeat.

“Well you're in luck because I do now lets go” She was already at the door.

“Ok Fluttershy lead the way” Me and this mare are going to be really good friends I could feel it.

------------------------------------------------OVER PONYVILLE------------------------------------------------

“Twilight can I stop now he’s obviously gone” Twi and Rainbow had been looking for Blue for hours and still had not hide nor hair of him.

“Sure Rainbow lets land over there I think I see Fluttershy”

----------------------------------------------------BACK TO ME-----------------------------------------------------

“Man Fluttershy you live really far from town” We had been walking for a couple hours and had finally made it back to ponyville.

“Oh yeah well most of the animals don't like to live too close to the town theres to much noise”

Man learning about Fluttershy is awesome I found out she is like the town animal caretaker and she watches and takes care of all the animals in ponyville and she can communicate with them in all my years she has to be one of the most interesting ponies i've met.

“Hey Fluttershy” Oh crap I know that voice. I looked up to see not only Rainbow dash, but Twilight riding on her back.

{Ohno ohno ohno } was all could think this was not going to end well.

“Hi Fluttershy what are you up.........HEY ITS YOU WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH FLUTTERSHY” I was trying my best to hide behind Fluttershy I really didn't feel like getting punched in the face.

“Um I would like to apologize for being rude before I was not myself”

{please take the apology i don't want to get punched}

“Fine, but i'm keeping my eye on you buddy you got that” She was still mad, but at least she wasn't gonna beat me to a pulp.

“Um girls this is Blue moon he was lost and didn't know how to get home so he asked me and then we got to talking and he told me all about his problem with you girls so he asked if I could take him to Pinkies so he could apologize”

“Really?”
“Yes he feels bad for how he acted”

“Yeah I really do”

{Man Fluttershy barely knows me and she is already standing up for me}

“Ok well then we want to come with you to make sure you actually apologies to Pinkie”

“Thats fine with me, ok Fluttershy lead the way” ok now I have two angry mares coming with me to apologize to a mare I yelled at yeah this day just gets better and better at least I can set things right with Pinkie.

We got to sugarcube corner, but it was closed and there was soft crying coming from inside and a couple of voices so i pressed my ear to the door.

“Its alright sugarcube”

“Yes darling now why don't you tell us whos got you so down”

It sounded like a couple of mares trying to talk to Pinkie I leaned in I bit closer to hear, but someone left the door open.

“Yeah who did this to you pinkie we will go get them right now”

“It.......it was......” Before she could finish I fell through the door and onto the floor right in front of them.

“Him it was him hes the big meanie mean pants” She looked terrible her hair was flat and strait she had been crying for hours by the looks of it and it was all my fault.

"I hope you're here to apologize to Pinkie pie cause if u aint” She look ready to kick me in the face.

“Thats exactly why he's here Applejack” Twilight said stepping over me

I got up on my hooves, but Rainbow pushed me back down as she walked in.

{I guess I deserved that one}

“We'll get to it darling”

I walked over to Pinkie seeing her like this was painful and it was my fault.

“Pinkie I am so sorry for yelling at you it was not the right thing to do I had to much anger built up and I let it out on you I hope you can forgive me”

“All Right” Her hair poofed up and she bounced off

“What just happened” Fluttershy walked over to me.

“She forgave you Blue isn't that great”

“But just like that she forgives me how is that possible”

“Thats just the way Pinkie pie is” Wow that was easier than I thought it was going to be.

“Now that thats out of the way why don't you tells us what made you so mad in the first place” Oh I should have seen that coming.

“Twilight please just let this go ok I don't want to talk about it”

“Well considering you yelled at Pinkie and were rude to me and and rainbow I think you owe us and explanation”

“Fine, but not here lets go to your library twilight”

“Ok girls what i'm about to tell you never leaves this group understood?”

They all nodded.

“Ok well like I told Fluttershy someone from my past came back someone I thought i would never see again”

"You also said it was a she”

“Yeah I did fluttershy, but not just any she this mare is princess Luna"

"Yeah right like you know princess Luna"

"It's true I've known her for a very long time before she turned evil"

"If what you're saying is true then that would make you........

"Yes Twilight it would make me over one thousand years old" No pony spoke a word they just sat there staring at me.

“But..... but thats no possible no pony can live that long” Twilight said breaking the silence.

Blue Sighed “Let’s start at the beginning"
