Chapter Seven

“Hi princess, sorry to interrupt your lunch, we were just, uh, looking for the royal garden! That’s believable. Yeah, Blue wanted to show me some of the old statues, right Blue?” Meteor nudged me, snapping me from my scared state.
“Yeah yup thats just what we're doing and not nothing else ha ha ha ha”
“You know Blue, I’ve known you longer than anypony.” She stood and walked over to me, stopping directly in front of me “And in all that time I’ve come to learn that you are a terrible liar, so why don’t you tell what is really going on.”

I have only been scared of a few ponies in my lifetime and Celestia is definitely one of them especially when she is not yelling, now I know why Clover the clever had a nervous breakdown.

I lowered my head not wanting to look her in the eye “It didn't work princess your sister didn't except my love.”

“But that doesn't explain why you and your friend came bursting into the dining hall.”

“Yeah that would be my fault princess I may have slapped your sister after she rejected him.....I'm sorry.”

“Why would you do that?”

“She didn't just reject him she called him unworthy, unfit to be with her. She took his heart and stomped on it right in front of him. She didn’t show any remors...” I cut her off I didn't want her to keep talking I didn't want to hear anymore.

“Your sister and I won't be together Celestia I tried and failed and now i’m gonna head home if thats ok with you.” I didn't feel sad well not completely I felt more relieved somehow.

“Well Blue i’m sorry to hear that, but I hope to see you again soon.” With that Celestia left the hall.

“Blue? Are you ok?”

“Yeah, yeah i'm fine Meteor lets just go home I don't want to be here anymore.”

“B-but what about Luna? I’m sure she’s still mad at me.” She said looking around.

I thought about what she said “You know what I really don’t care” I walked over to the window and swung it open “let her be mad all I want to do now is go home and have a drink or two or twelve” I unfurled my wings and looked back “would you care to join me?”

She looked at me and nodded “That actually sounds pretty good.”

I jumped out the window with Meteor in tow now wasn't the time to feel sorry for myself no now was the time for action and I knew just where to go.

Royal gardens

“We can not believe thou let those two get away what kind of soldier art thou?!” Luna was scolding the two guards for letting the two criminals get away.

“thou shalt be punished for this in the harshest of fashions!”

“That is enough little sister” Celestia landed next to her younger sister “I think you have scared them quiet enough now come walk with me.”

“And you big sister how could you let them just leave with no punishment they have committed a crime of the highest caliber one punishable by dea...”

“That is enough Luna! Now I know you're a little upset over this whole matter, but you must understand that stallion has been through so much” She looked down at her sister “and after all this time he finally shares his feelings and for you to reject him i’m surprised he was as calm as he was little sister.”

“But sister he is a common pegasus stallion one of many who thinks they are worth to court us, what makes him so special what makes him worthy?” She asked

“You really don’t remember him little sister has it really been that long?” Celestia looked into the water of the fountain.

“Sister?” Luna asked eyeing her older sibling

“I want you to try and remember Luna, back 1000 years ago and when you do I want you to come see me, but not until then do you understand?”

“Yes I understand” Celestia left in a flash of light “I understand that a certain little pegasus is going to pay for her crimes”

Edge of Ponyville

“So, Blue, where are we going?”

“Well in all the time I’ve lived near ponyville theres only been one place I go frequently.”

“And that would be where exactly?” She looked at me raising an eyebrow

I looked at her with a smile.

“Soooo a bar? A bar is the only place in ponyville you've been to multiply times, don’t you find that the least bit worrying?”

“No, no I don't and this is not just any bar my dear Meteor” I pointed to the sign above the building “this is Frostys owned and operated by the one and only Frosty mug the best bartender in all of Equestria.” I opened the door and ushered her in.

“If you say so.” She walked in and I followed, after her taking in the glow.

“Uh Blue this place is a dump.” She waves her arm around the room.

I shoved my hoof into her mouth “*Shush* don't let Frosty hear you say that”

“Who is this Frosty mug anyway?”

“Well Frosty is an older grumper earth pony who takes great pride in his bar its his baby

“His baby is falling apart.” She kicks a table making it fall apart

“WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY BAR?!”

“Oh here we go....... FROSTY old man how have you been hows the misses?”

“Dead and lousy and who is this you got with you Blue she looks like trouble.”

“Well she can be at time’s, but shes cool.”

“Hey! I’m standing right here!”

“Well alright, but if she starts something she’s out of here you got that missy?” Frosty pointed his hoof in Meteors face and walked away.

“Why you little...” Meteor was about step forward

“Now Meteor calm down i’m sure he didn’t mean it now go find a place to sit i'll get us some drinks.

“Whatever”

“Good now do you want anything special?”

“Yeah... I’ll take a Celestia Sunrise” She said laying her head on the table.

“Got it” I started my way over to the bar “Hey Frosty I need one hard cider and a Celestia Sunrise.”

“Sure” He poured the drinks and hooved them to me “Hey what’s the deal with the mare she a fling or something?”

“What no, no she’s just a friend why would you ask that?”

“Well i’ve been around the block a couple times and well i’ll just let you figure it out” With that frosty walked to the other end of the bar.

I stood there staring into our drinks “No I couldn’t be, could it”

“HEY BLUE! WHERE ARE THOSE DRINKS!?”

I snapped out of my thinking “Nawww Frostys wrong...... I think?” I walked with the drinks back over to our table “Ok so are you ready to drink away the day?” I didn’t hear a response all I heard was the sound of glass hitting table.

Meteor looked at me holding my drink “Well come on slow-poke I’m not gonna wait on ya, HEY CAN I GET ANOTHER ONE OVER HERE!”

“Wow ok” I slammed down my cider and signaled for another one.

“Look Blue I know you didn’t want to talk about what happened at the castle”

“And I still don’t” I took a swig of my drink.

“But you said some interesting things back there, like Luna saving you I haven't heard that story before in fact I haven't heard a whole lot about your past, in fact just how you were born and that’s it what else is there I wonder where you've been oh have you been to Prance or or...”

I slammed my cup on the table getting her attention “Look Meteor I didn't bring you hear to tell you my whole life’s story I came here to have a drink and maybe have some fun with my friend ok?”

She looked down and nodded “Yeah I understand”

“Thank you now” I raised my mug “Lets drink!!”

One drunken stooper later...

“Ah why does my head hurt and why can’t I feel my legs” I opened my eyes catching the sunlight making me slam them shut “Damn........ ok lets try this again” I opened my eyes and looked around “Ok good i’m at my house that’s good, now why can't I move?”

I looked down at my body “Oh mother of Celestia”
