As FrostBite and Smolder walked into the map room of the castle, they were happy to see the girls already there waiting for them with… eager… expressions?

"Did I miss something?" Smolder asked, matching FrostBite's confused look.

"You two are right on time." Twilight replied, motioning them over. "We came up with a way to help build your home. All we need now is to gather the material. And for you to decide which layout you want to go with."

FrostBite and Smolder walked over next to Twilight and looked at a few blueprints she had set out for them. "Wow. You guys really didn't have to do this." Smolder exclaimed as she looked each over. "I mean. These look…. Ummm… great but…" She turned to FrostBite who nodded.

"Ya… we'd be good with something simple." He agreed, looking at a triple layered blueprint with a landing pad. "And I don't even know when we'd need eight bedrooms."

All eyes turned to Rarity who blushed. "Well… it never hurts to be prepared for the future."

After looking each over FrostBite and Smolder stepped to the side and whispered to each other.

"Your friends are crazy."

"Ya. But they mean well."

"It's like they expect us to have kids or something."

Smolder thought about that for a moment. "So… what do you think we should do? It's not like we can just say no thanks after all the work they put into this."

FrostBite rubbed his chin then smiled. "I think I have an idea."

The two then returned to the group as FrostBite looked at the blueprints. "Ok… how about this. If you can give us a good reason to pick your blueprint. Then we'll consider it. Otherwise, we go with our original plan."

Twilight nodded and levitated each to their respective pony.

Fluttershy's was a double floor with a garden. "Oh… ummm… I thought you might like to have a nice space to relax."

"We can have a garden with any of them." Smolder pointed out. "But why the…" Smolder blinked before turning red. Next to the lava pool was a divot designed like the hatchery in the dragon lands. "Next!"

All the girls blushed before looking at Applejack as FrostBite simply tilted his head. "Later." Smolder whispered.

Applejack had a simple layout with the upper floors holding six rooms. "I just thought y'all would like some place for y'all's guests."

The two dragons nod before FrostBite asks. "Is that why there's… whatever that is, in the master bedroom?" He pointed to what looked like a small fence in the room.

"Ummmm… ya… y'all can't go wrong with haven a place to hang wet clothes." Applejack replied, trying to look convincing.

"Ok… I'm going out on a limb and say Pinkie wanted to make room for a lot of parties." Smolder sighed. Said pink pony nodded eagerly as Smolder sighed. "A party room does sound nice… what about you Rarity. Dresses?"

Rarity rolled her eyes. "Please darlene. You say that, like you don't enjoy looking like a lady." She countered with a smirk at the now blushing dragoness. "But we don't have to make it a walk in closet."

FrostBite and Rainbow rolled their eyes at that before said pegasus spoke. "I just thought adding a balcony for chilling would be cool. That and maybe something to make it less… gray." The two nod to each other before turning to Twilight who was working on a new blueprint.

"I first thought of a study… but after hearing what you thought of the others." Twilight said, setting her new blueprint down and zapping it with a spell. Within seconds a 3d model appeared that looked like a combination of the other homes.

A two floor, 3 bedroom home with a balcony on the second floor, a multipurpose pit(she knew what she's implying) in the basement and garden behind the house, now sat before them.

Looking it over the group smiled as Smolder and FrostBite looked at each other with a nod. "Great. Then we can start construction as soon as everything arrives." Pinkie cheered.

"What do you mean Pinkie?" Twilight asked. "How are we going to get everything to build in such short notice?"

"My sisters. Obviously." Pinkie replied dismissively. "Rocks are like… our thing."

Everypony laughed as Twilight smiled sheepishly.

"Does anyone know when they'll be here?" FrostBite asked, looking over the model as Twilight made a solid version of it.

"Knowing Pinkie's sisters?" Applejack replied. "I wouldn't be surprised if they were already waiting for us."

After a few moments everypony looked at each other before rushing out the door, except for Rainbow Dash who was laying on the ground laughing. After a few moments she was joined by FrostBite and Smolder.

After a few moments of laughter Rainbow sat up and looked over at FrostBite and Smolder. "Dood. I get the feeling that the girls are going to need our help." She chuckled. "Maybe when the construction is done. We can hang out." She laughed making her way to the door, flicking her tail at FrostBite.

Smolder tilted her head smirking before turning to FrostBite. "Well. Looks like things are going to get very interesting." She laughed as the two followed Rainbow Dash.

Canterlot Throne Room

Celestia sat on her throne, looking over papers. On occasion she'd glance at a letter she had gotten from her student. "Perhaps now is not the best time to inform them." She thought out loud. "Maybe I'll give them a few days before letting them know." She turned to her sister who was glaring at her. Sighing, Celestia smiled. "It seems my old student is considering getting a home in Equestria."

Luna blinked before smiling. "Am I right to assume that you wish her appearance to be a surprise?" Celestia smiled causing Luna to sigh. "Let's hope this ends well. Though considering your last idea for introducing Ember to hard sider didn't end well." Luna commented with a groan. "I'll have a lot of work to do for the guards' dreams."

Author's Note

I was considering bringing in EQG. But that might be pushing it. May work better with one of the other stories though. What do you think? It'll be a few chapters before the decision is made.
