„You ... wanted to see me, Princess?“, I asked as I entered her bedroom. Befitting of a mare her status it was huge, probably three times the size of my entire apartment. Decorated in golden, warm colors with curtains, matching the rising sun. It fit her well and I always enjoyed the cozy atmosphere it provided, especially in the evening. It is not the first time I’ve been to her private chambers, but the sight amazed my eye every time. However, the beauty of these four walls paled in comparison to the mare, lying on her bed at the left end of the room.
Celestia lay on her bed sheets. Naked. Not a single piece of cloth obscuring her, not even her crown or her necklace. They were nowhere to be seen. She lifted her head to look at me and upon seeing me, she began to smile and ordered her royal guards to close the doors behind me. At first I wondered if they had seen anything but my thoughts quickly disappeared as Celestia waved me over to her bed.
Everyone else in my shoes might have looked away upon seeing her naked; started blushing, stating that they were sorry a thousand times over. Not me, however. As ridiculous as it may sound I have gotten used to the sight. But at the same time I haven’t. It did feel like a gift every time I got to see her pristine white body. It is truly hard to describe her in words, mostly because of my rather unimpressive vocabulary and my lack of a descriptive prowess. Standing at the side of her bed I began to take in her appearance.
As stated before, she wore nothing. She was entirely in the nude and presented herself to me on her side, facing me. Celestia’s right arm helped to support her head upright, her left arm placed neatly on her side and posterior. Her body was curvy, and she seemed very slim on first glance. However, if you look at her belly you can see that she does enjoy cake a lot. Then you start to see that she does have some extra pounds. If I were to describe her physique in short I'd choose the words: Slightly chubby. However, I wouldn’t find her nearly as pretty if she hadn’t have those.
Her posterior had very feminine touches and I often take that as a reference in describing the core differences of male and female anatomy. Females are slim, elegant and curvy while males are bulky, muscular and sturdy. Going down further you can see that Celestia always takes her bodily hygiene very seriously. Her vagina shaved, nothing more then a pink slit. And by the looks of it her fingers might have slipped prior to my arrival. How very lewd.
I don’t mean to sound like a pervert but one thing I always appreciated about a nude display were the genitals. I usually pay them no big mind but it just feels wrong to exclude them. From her expression I can tell she watched me as I eyed her from bottom to top. She never interrupted me or obscured anything, not even her most private of parts. Nor did she take any extra effort to reveal anything to me. I knew Celestia trusted me and that is something I value more than my life. I see it as a great honor to be granted such a beautiful sight. You have to understand that our, dare I say relationship, is somewhat of a difficult nature to describe. We are not a couple in a traditional sense, we aren’t dating and we’ve never had any intimacy besides maybe some handjobs. The solar Princess, done looking me over, gestured me to join her on the bed. I followed her bidding and laid down next to her. I didn’t hesitate and pulled myself towards her, finding a comfortable position. I slid my left arm under the pillow and let the other rest on her belly. I laid my head on her shoulder and moved my legs close to hers. Our coats touched and I began to enjoy the warmth and softness of her coat. I admit, I do enjoy cuddling like this a lot. We spent a few minutes embracing each other before I opened my mouth.
„Why did you ask for me, Princess? Something on your mind?“
„You know my name, Selenthis. Use it.“, came a sharp reply. Celestia hated it when I didn’t call her by her real name. And I didn’t do it on purpose. I just forgot about it, now that we had our privacy. It did feel kind of silly and ridiculous that this is what I had the most difficulty with. Acting stoic, professional and cold when we were around other ponies, yet honestly open and passionate when we’re alone together. Almost makes it sound like I’m her lover, which I’m not. But it still does sound rather poetic.
„I’m sorry, Tia. Your guards woke me up rather early and I am still a bit perplexed why you have called me here on such a short note.“, I reply. It was the truth, mostly.
„Understandable, Selenthis. And I am sorry to have called you here without warning. But I'll promise, I do have a very good reason for it. But before that I’d like to answer your question with another question”
She made a small pause before she spoke up again. “Do you know what day it is today?“
I took a moment to think about that but sadly came up with no coherent answer. A nagging feeling pushed at the back of my mind, like I were supposed to know what she was referring to. I tried to focus and deconstruct it fact by fact. It was what, Saturday? 12th of April. But as much as I brainstormed, it led nowhere. I took a deep breath and told her the truth, utterly defeated.
„I’m afraid I don’t, Tia“
Celestia chuckled as she took my right hand, gently placing it on her left breast. A small shiver ran through me as the act caught me by surprise. This isn’t the first time I had touched her in such an intimate spot but the lack of context to her actions made me a bit uncomfortable. But nevertheless, I responded by gently exploring her chest, moving my fingers along her nipple and finishing with a gentle squeeze. Celestia hummed at the notion. I knew she would do that. She liked being touched.
„It’s been two years since we first met, Selenthis“, she exhaled, followed by a small chuckle.
„Our two year anniversary, if you want to call it that. Time flows by so fast.”, Celestia paused for a few moments before she continued.
“I’m very glad I met you, Selenthis. You’ve opened up an entirely new horizon for me, changed my view on many things and helped me gain confidence. That is quite the achievement you’ve accomplished, you know. And look where we are now. How far we’ve come since then...“
Celestia suddenly turned towards me, embracing me in a tight hug. Her warm, soft body and her scent washed over me as I adjusted my arm underneath her. She laid her head on my chest and sighed happily. I prepared to answer, then it hit me.
Two years!
I needed a moment to fully comprehend that. Has it been that long already?
„Two years...“, I exhaled as I felt slightly shocked. I faced her with a mixture of surprise and relief. Celestia simply looked at me and began to smile before closing her eyes again. She hummed in agreement. I remained silent for a few minutes. It was still a lot to take in. After what felt like an eternity my trance was finally interrupted by movement. Celestia let go of me and laid herself beside me again, facing the ceiling.
„Do you still remember when we first met?“, she asked.
I didn’t even need to start thinking. How could I ever forget such a special day? „Of course, Tia. I remember it like it was yesterday.”, I replied.
Celestia chuckled before she spoke, „It probably does much to help you to remember when you have a physical copy of the actual memory to look at, hmm?“
I looked towards Celestia, seeing her nudge her head in the opposite direction before I followed the princess’ gesture. To our right, on the wall above a small drawer, it hung. I was surprised to see that she had actually put it up on display for everypony to see, but she had certainly took some precautions to make it invisible or something if she wasn’t there. Cleanup maids wouldn’t want to see that, though I wouldn’t blame them if they kept staring. She was truly a marvel to look at.
It was a body shot of Celestia, entirely naked. She stood in front of a bathtub, her body and head turned slightly to the left. Her hands rested on both hips, mane flowing freely alongside her white curves. The room resembled a huge bath and like her bedroom, it was royal, golden and warm. But that was not the focus, not important. It was merely a tool to set a scenario. The true focus was on her. She had an expression that resembled shyness and a lack of confidence. She was embarrassed to stand naked in front of a stranger. A stranger she had met just mere minutes ago. A stranger who fell down on his knees, begging her to do something unimaginable for him. A stranger who dared to ask the Princess, Goddess and Ruler of Equestria:
„May I draw a nude portrait of you, your Highness?“
Celestia was not in a very good mood that day. She had just received news of a changeling attack on Manehatten, a huge fire that destroyed thousands of miles of farmland and she had just withdrawn from a heated argument with her sister, Princess Luna. Being a matriarch is a burden she was accustomed to. But every once in a while even the strongest of ponies need time to focus on more positive and rewarding things. She just needed some private time for herself that moment.
Thus, Celestia decided to cancel all her appointments for the day and take a bath to relax and recollect a bit. Her advisors were against it, of course, but she did not care for their opinions. Changing into a bathrobe Celestia made her way to her private bathroom, closed the door behind her and exhaled. She paid little mind to her surroundings and made straight for the bathtub. She turned on the water and added some soap to make the water bubble. The bathtub was rather spacious and could easily fit two ponies with ease. And while that may sound comfortable at first it was a hassle since it took ages to fill up.
Sighing, Celestia turned around and let her robe fall to the ground before opening her eyes and staring right at another pony. A pony who was looking right back at her. While she was naked.
Contrary to popular believe, Celestia did not scream nor panic. She had seen many things in her lifetime, so things like this aren’t enough for Celestia to lose her composure. Plus, she knew she could blast the intruder to the moon in the blink of an eye. Celestia instinctively reached for the robe to cover herself. She heard the pony say something but focused more on looking less vulnerable and more like a Princess. It didn’t took her long to put the robe back on.
Then she took the time to analyze the intruder.
From the looks of it he appeared male, rather young, dressed in a blue shirt with a brown pair of jeans. He had rather big ears and small fangs sticking out his mouth on both sides. Were it not obvious from that alone, the bat wings certainly put the final nail in the coffin. A batpony. A batpony that had very clearly stared at her. Then she addressed the batty perpetrator.
„Who are you and what are you doing in here?“, she asked with an authoritative voice. It seemed to work, since the batpony laid his ears on the back of his head and took three steps back. He blushed and began stuttering.
„I..I..I’m Selenthis. Selenthis Duskralya Avenheart. I’m a … I’m a painter. I’ve w … wanted to get some impressions for my drawings and had asked permission to visit this room. I … I did so f … five moths in advance, your Highness. I’m sorry, I did not think somepony would be here now. T … The guards told me it would be empty. I’m so very sorry, your Highness“
He was clearly no threat to her, that much she discerned for now. It helped her relax and lower her voice. She had to admit, it did happen quite often that ponies were invited to the castle to gather some impressions for various artistic reasons. And Celestia did act spontaneous, so even if she was furious, she was to blame too. The least she could do was tell him the truth.
„It was a spontaneous decision from my side to come here. I apologize for me lashing out on you. I didn’t expect somepony here beside me.“
Selenthis chuckled meekly, „Y … yeah. The odds are one in a million. Well, I'm … I'm really glad. I was afraid you’d call the guards and have me arrested. I certainly wouldn’t blame you. So, if you allow me, then I shall take my leave and not disturb your bath any further, your Highness“
„You may. I take it you know where the exit is. Once I finish my business here I shall inform my guards to give you another opportunity for a visit here.“. Celestia took one last look at him and began blushing slightly. “And … uhm, best keep this a secret between us.“, she declared.
„You mean, me seeing the beauty that is your nude self.“, Selenthis asked in return, his voice dead serious.
„Y..yeah. Tha… Wait. What did you just say?“, Celesta asked in a shocked voice, staring at the bat with embarrassment and confusion visible in her face.
„I said, the beauty that is your nude self.“, he answered, truthfully.
Celestia knew very well what she heard yet she deliberately gave him a chance to correct himself. But apparently the bat was too oblivious to get the hint. She then spoke up, aggravated. „I hardly think you should be making such a statement, bat. If I were you I would mind my tongue. Also, it was very rude of you to stare. Don’t you have any manners or sense of privacy?“
„I do have manners, and I do see myself as a very chivalrous batpony. However, I must also honestly tell you that I think you are more beautiful without these clothes obscuring you.“, the bat said, aggravating Celestia even more.
„Are you out of your mind? Who do you think you are, trying to flatter me like this? I am really losing my patience here, so I’m kindly ordering you to get out here ... right … now.“
Selenthis got on his knees, held up his hands and started begging, „Please, just let me show you.“, the bat pleaded.
„Show me WHAT?“, Celestia grit her teeth. She was only moments away from blasting this pony with her magic and sending him flying through the walls.
„Your beautiful self. Right here, on this canvas.“, he produced the white object from his satchel and held it in front of him, almost like a shield. It would do absolutely nothing to save him.
Celestia had no response, truth to be told she was confused and perplexed as to what this crazy bat meant. And she had neither the patience nor the time to deal with him any further. She began to channel magic into her horn as she addressed him. „Any last words?“
The bat cleared his throat before speaking, „May ... may I draw a nude portrait of you, your Highness?“
Celestia’s horn stopped glowing. She just stood there, staring down at the batpony who was breathing heavily. He had retained in his begging position and didn’t dare to look up. His body was shaking. Celestia couldn’t believe what she just heard. Who did this bat think he is? Does he have no regard for personal space or intimacy? If he’d wanted to masturbate to her he could’ve just said so and had a greater chance, better yet. Just ask if he can have sex with her. How’s that? His chances would have been higher that way. Her eyes twitched and she had trouble comprehending this insane request. How would she even answer such a question?
Selenthis, still awaiting his solar incineration, realized he was still breathing. He got back up and took the opportunity to explain himself.
„I am so sorry for asking such a foolish thing, b ... but I … I just had to. You see, I am a painter. I draw things, sometimes art, most of the times not. And.. and one of the things I like drawing are nude body portraits. It is a hobby of mine. One which I take very seriously. It’s nothing sexually, I'd swear on my life. I am a real admirer of the pure aesthetic that the naked body holds, be it male or female. There is something really gorgeous and divine about it. And in these few seconds that I got to witness you like that, I'd wished for nothing more in this world than to draw you like you are. I am confident I can make a truly ... truly beautiful piece of art from you, your Highness.“
Celestia had changed her mind and was now ready to send him to the moon, but she couldn’t deny that he sounded passionate about it. She had heard about the philosophy of artistic nudity before but never gave it much thought. So, she began doing that. She certainly already felt pretty naked now that she new the bat’s desire to draw her after getting a good look at her. She felt repelled by the idea at first but also couldn’t deny a spark of interest. If she were to truly consider it she’d need more information from him. And knowledge of what would happen once he was finished. Plus, none of these things helped her to get the confidence to basically strip in front of a complete stranger. She couldn’t trust him, how could she?
Celestia covered her face with her hand and let out a long, pregnant sigh. „I can’t believe what I am hearing. You want me to drop these robes so you can get a good look at me and draw me? Aside from the fact that I would never ever do that in front of someone who I've met ten minutes ago. And even if I were to consider it, I must ask. Why me? Why not any other mare or stallion? There are plenty of pretty models around Equestria who certainly look better then me as well.“
„Technically you already did drop your robes before me.“, the bad deadpanned.
Celestia’s eye twitched, so Selenthis immediately followed up with an explanation.
„It isn’t about attractiveness, your Highness. It is undeniable that I find you appealing, but not in a sexual way. The reason I asked you specifically is simple. I really admire your realistic proportions. I like the way you look not because I did see your most intimate parts but because I was able to see you the way you are underneath all that fabric. And I’d make it my highest priority to share with you what I saw that moment. No suggestive positions, no revealing attitude. Just you, the way you are. With all your imperfections because those imperfections are what make you you.“
Celestia couldn’t overhear his last statement. It intrigued her on a personal level. And the casual way he’d addressed it she just couldn’t ignore. Celestia needed some context.
„What do you mean by imperfections, bat? Are you implying I eat too much cake? That I shall lose some pounds, is that it?“, she said, projecting guilt on Selenthis.
„No, please. Anything but that, you are mistaken.“, Selenthis shot back. Celestia was taken aback by his sudden answer.
„You are many things, Princess. One thing you’re not is ugly. And the reason I say this is precisely because you have those extra few pounds as you called them. If you hadn’t have them I would have never asked. Truth to be told, I expected the solar Goddess of Equestria to be virtually perfect and the definitive example of the highest beauty the female body could offer. That you were the textbook definition of a model. Perfection, as many would call it. But I was proven wrong, and it is the single greatest gift I've ever received.“
Any other mare would’ve walked up to him and slap him in the face for such a statement. Any other mare would think of this as a desperate attempt to try and compliment her in fear of getting hit, or incinerated in his case. But Celestia just couldn’t bring herself to do it, even if it were a justified response. The sincerity he radiated off. He hadn’t called her ugly, but he also hasn’t complimented her and elevated her beauty beyond the stars like anypony else ever did. He was honest with her, something Celestia had deep respect for.
„So you’re telling me that you wouldn’t want to draw me if I were any prettier then I am now?“, she concluded.
Selenthis nodded. „Precisely, Princess. My goal is to capture the beauty a pony while also heavily emphasizing on the realistic part of their proportions. Many would surely deem them ugly and remove them on purpose. But leaving those out would only show half of the truth and thus decrease the quality in the end. That is my philosophy on the matter. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for realism, Princess.“
„Very … intriguing of you, Selenthis,“, Celestia said, having calmed down. „Let’s … presume that I would maybe consider it, how would you want to draw me and, even more importantly. Who would get the drawing and how would we continue afterwards? I can’t just let you leave without some precautions. You’re asking a lot of me here.“. Celestia couldn’t believe that she was actually considering this. She sighed and gave the bat a questioning look.
„W...Well, I'd say we do a pose that you feel comfortable in, once we’re set, that is. As for the drawing. I see it only fair that you keep it, it’s the least I can do to return the favor. And for the last part ...“, Selenthis grit his teeth and broke eye contact.
“I’d … you could … you could just erase my memory if you feel safer that way.“
Surely that would’ve been the easiest, safest and quickest way to deal with it but it didn’t sit right with Celestia. „You would be ready to accept that, Selenthis?“, she asked, surprised by this suggestion.
„Yes, Princess. I would. It would only be fair that way“, he said, stoically.
Celestia gulped. Truth is, she didn’t feel right about this and decided to stall this decision for now.
„We can … discuss this later. As for myself …“
Celestia was nervous, she felt young and vulnerable. Feelings like this were a past inconvenience for her, one that she thought she’d never feel again. Her heartbeat rose and she grew more nervous by the second.
Selenthis took notice of this and tried to gather her attention. „Princess, I know how much I’m asking of you and if you don’t feel like it that’s fine with me. I will respect that. I would never want to push you into something you’re not comfortable with.“
„I’m … sorry, Selenthis. I just can’t. I …“, Celestia didn't finish that sentence. Selenthis knew one last method to may helped her to calm down and reassure her.
„Princess, would it make you feel better I were nude as well?“, Selenthis asked, triggering a surprised gasp from Celestia, who stared at him in disbelief.
„I was actually preparing myself to ask you this. My reasoning is simple. I believe it builds mutual trust if both parties are at their weakest. That being stripped of their clothes. Of course, I don’t know you well enough to tell if it helps or if it makes things worse, so I want you to decide. You can still decline entirely if you wish, Princess. Don’t forget that.“, Selenthis calmly tried to reassure her.
Celestia thought about it. He had a valid point. But would she be alright with him being naked around her? It would certainly be better that way, she had to admit. Only one way to find out.
She nodded. „Yes, please do so. I can’t really argue against it without having tried it. But if you try anything funny, it’s over, alright?“, she threatened.
„Understood, Princess.“
Selenthis started undressing. First he removed his shirt, revealing his gray coat underneath. He had a very thick coat of fur and some extra fluff on his chest which looked kind of silly. Next came his shoes, he quickly removed his socks too. Followed by his jeans. However, he withheld himself from removing his underpants, glancing over to Celestia who had been watching him.
„Shall I continue?“, he asked.
Part of Celestia didn’t actually believe he’d really do it. That he would go as far as to actually strip himself of his clothes right before her eyes. But there he was, only one layer of clothing left on him. What’s one more, Celestia thought. Not like she hasn’t seen one before. The Princess nodded.
And down they went, revealing his genitals. He was shaved, which was something that surprised her. Selenthis just stood there, no trace of embarrassment on his face. Celestia stared at him for a long time, having calmed down. She couldn’t hide the truth that it positively influenced her confidence.
Celestia chuckled before crossing her arms. „You actually did it. How do you feel now?“
„Not much different than before. I have nothing to show and nothing be ashamed of, Princess. The important thing for me is, how do you feel?“, Selenthis returned.
„Truth is, I do feel better now. I did consider calling in my guards and have you arrested for trying to advance on me. Then I’d throw you in the dungeon and this whole thing would’ve been over.“, she said, smirking devilishly.
„Go on ahead if you must, Princess. I am ready to accept my fate. I shall live on with the knowledge that I tried. Asking you when I had the chance, trying to take what was in my reach. I can’t be blamed for failing.“
„So you were willing to sacrifice everything for this one chance of drawing me naked and you would do so again if you had the chance?“, Celestia asked sternly.
„Yes, Princess. I would do so again. I swear on my grandchildren.“, he replied.
„Very well. In this case ...“, her Horn started glowing and Selenthis could hear a click from the door, locking it.
„Let us begin then, Selenthis.”, the Solar Princess said.
„ I am very glad you changed your mind, Princess.“, Selenthis felt both relieved and joyful over the prospect of the next hours they would spend.
„I feel like I can trust you enough to do this, Selenthis. You have given me enough valid points to reach the conclusion that there’s really nothing to lose except maybe two hours of time. Time that I would’ve spent in the bath relaxing and most likely being bored. So this is a change of pace for me. I can still relax afterwards.“ Celestia said.
„Happy to hear that, Princess. I will honor your trust and not disappoint you. I promise.“.
Celestia nodded. „We’ll see about that. Now, how do we do this?“
„Well ... I thought of drawing your lines, curves and features first. I think I’m going to need about twenty minutes for that. Then I’d focus on the background and add colors and shading last. As for the pose, it’s up to you. I’d recommend something comfortable for you, a pose that you can hold for that time. Can you do that for me?“, Selenthis was getting excited, Celestia could tell.
She took one quick glance in between his legs but nothing moved. She’d keep a close watch just to make sure.
„Alright then. Here goes …“, she swallowed.
Celestia felt her heart beat as she put her hands on her breasts. She slowly slid them down until making contact with the soft fabric that covered the rest of her body. Her temperature began to rise as she slid the dress over her nipples. Truth to be told she liked this particular robe because she was able to remove it quickly. A fact that would now work against her for the first time.
Upon passing her nipples the fabric succumbed to the power of gravity and slid down within seconds. It passed her belly and butt way quicker than she was comfortable with. She let her hands rest at her hips and looked towards Selenthis. The bat in question stared at her, mouth and eyes wide open. Celestia began to blush and instinctively flattened her ears.
„Sorry that I stared, Princess. It won’t happen again. I promise. Take your time.“, Selenthis said warmly.
Celestia felt weak and helpless that moment. A feeling she had before when she first considered this but now was no time to back off. She glanced once again towards Selenthis’ crotch but everything looked the same. It felt appropriate to stare as he had done the same thing to her as well. Celestia was glad she wasn’t in the nude alone. Selenthis caught her staring and managed to conceal a chuckle.
„Is this pose alright for you?“, Celestia asked while using her arms to cover her nipples and crotch.
„Well, I could certainly draw you this way if you wish. But this really is the same as if you were still wearing that robe, don’t you think? Also, you look uncomfortable and shy. I wouldn’t want to draw your face with that nervous expression, if I'm being honest. I’m certain you wouldn’t like looking at it.“
Celestia sighed and nodded. Once again, the bat had a point. She took a deep breath and let her hands rest on her hips. She didn’t know what else to do with them and glancing down at her exposed self, once again, gave her a vulnerable feeling. She had to occupy her mind with something more pleasant and began to think of her sister and how she happy she was when Luna had returned as family, not fiend. It filled her with happiness and she focused her gaze on an unimportant spot at the wall.
Selenthis saw the change in expression and immediately seized the opportunity, beginning to paint. He had to hurry but couldn’t waste a second by making mistakes. It had to be done right in one go. Glancing between her and the canvas, line became feature and circle became curve. The batpony entered a trance-like state and focused solely on his canvas. As Celestia began to take more and more form he began slowing down. And once Selenthis was finished he put down his brush, got up and exhaled. His back arched and he was slightly dizzy from exhaustion.
Celestia took notice of that and focused her attention on him. The bat took notice of her noticing him noticing her but paid it no mind. He merely panted.
„It is done! Lines and curves at least. Still needs color and all. You can move and put your clothes back on now. Thank you very much.“, he sounded like he’d run a marathon. Anypony entering their room right now would get very questionable thoughts.
„May I see it?“, Celestia asked.
Selenthis was surprised by that statement. He’d expected her to instantly put her robe back on, yet she just stood there, a mixture of eagerness and shyness on her face.
„Y ... Yeah sure.“, he grabbed the canvas, flipped it around and presented it to her.
Celestia got closer and took a long look over it. It was like looking inside a mirror, albeit monochrome. Selenthis certainly did capture her very well. She saw some minor errors here and there but they were barely visible and she was not really in the position to judge. Especially, since it took him only fifteen minutes to do so and it was a work-in-progress. All in all, she was very impressed.
„This is … very impressive, Selenthis. Well done, I really like it.“, she complimented the bat.
„Thank you, Princess. Glad it’s to your liking. With your permission I'd like to continue with the background now.“, he was so eager, it made him look really adorable.
„Yes, please do so. Is it okay if I take my bath meanwhile?“, Celestia asked much to his surprise. „I have been thinking a lot while you were sketching me. And I feel much calmer around you now. You have earned my trust. Also, now that I've seen what you were drawing I can safely say you meant what you said. You have great artistic skill, Selenthis.“
The Bat in question was honored and couldn’t contain a blush. „T … That is very kind of you, Princess. Thank you.“
Celestia chuckled once again. „You receive the permission to stare at my naked body and go on without a fuzz but start blushing when I compliment you. You really are a silly one, you know?“, she exclaimed playfully.
Selenthis couldn’t oversee that she had gotten way more relaxed around him which he was glad for. He watched her cross the bathtub and enter the water. She got comfortable and let out a relieved sigh.
Selenthis started sketching the background on the canvas. He didn’t want to waste much of his time doing so but he had learned from past experience that a blank background just didn’t work. At least for him. It was work that had to be done, but it wasn’t very demanding on him so he took the time to relax and tried some small talk with Celestia.
„Princess, might I ask you something personal?“, he inquired.
Celestia hummed, before answering. „You may ask, can’t guarantee you an answer though.“
„Fair enough. I wanted to ask you what your thoughts are about me? And your opinion on our current situation.“
Selenthis heard the sloshing of water and glanced towards the tub. Celestia had leaned her upper body out of the water and on the side of the tub, her head atop her crossed arms. She was facing his direction.
„I think you’re bold and ambitious, Selenthis. You dared to ask something truly insane, knowing very well that it could mean your doom. But you did not let that stop you. You knew very well of the risks and decided to do it anyway. High risk, high reward. I do like such traits. You were honest enough not to compliment my body in a way that I was used too from many other stallions before you. You looked me in the face and told me politely that I was not entirely pretty. Honesty. A very important virtue. You never gave me the impression that you wanted my body, your body language also supported that on multiple occasions.“
She made a pause before continuing. „I still don’t know if I can trust you or if I am glad to have met you. But, so far, we’ve definitely formed a bridge. As for this nude drawing business. I do feel like trust is a very important factor in this. It did help me a lot when you undressed and I would be lying if I said I was not tempted at the suggestion of it. The prospect of someone drawing me, especially in such a state, does sound very nice.”
Celestia slid back in her tub, facing away from Selenthis.
He was pretty stunned by her declaration. Celestia was easing herself into the situation very well. Selenthis returned to his drawing and couldn’t help but smile. Up to this point he had been under a lot of stress which was not surprising. Near death experiences do tend to challenge the body and strengthen the character. Selenthis continued his work further without interruption.
He was quickly finished and took a long look at his results. The background was now done, finished in color to set the scene. The Princess herself was still devoid of color but that was about to change. Selenthis was happy and took another moment to relax. Exhaustion began to hit him as he felt his muscles and bones. They felt sore, so he stretched a few times. Celestia did notice him and spoke up.
„Finished?“, she simply asked.
Selenthis merely hummed a positive reply before glancing her way. „Not entirely, but I’m almost finished.“, he exhaled.
„I do feel pretty beat. It sounds ridiculous, I know. But even something as physically simple as sitting and drawing can be quite taxing. And I tend to focus so hard I often forget to take some pauses.“
The Princess chuckled before facing him. „Well, would you like to join me? It may help to take some of the tension off.“
A shiver ran down Selenthis back as he stood there, shocked. „Are you … sure this is a good idea?“, he replied, perplexed.
„Truth is, I don’t really care. You may join me or not. The tub is big enough for the two of us and I don’t see this as any more violation of privacy than things we already did. So long as you don’t try anything funny, that is. So …“
She shrugged. „ … do as you wish.“
Selenthis couldn't deny his desire to do so. If she didn’t mind. But she was still the Princess of Equestria. It felt wrong somehow. She wouldn’t try to advance on him in any way, would she? No, that sounds ridiculous. Like weird, irrational and totally wishful thinking. But nevertheless, here they were. Selenthis gulped again before approaching the tub.
Gliding in the warm water, Selenthis tried his best to get comfortable while retaining the safest and furthest distance away from Celestia. She had been watching his every move since he began to join her. Her expression was a mystery, never breaking eye contact. The tub was ridiculously huge, Selenthis could stretch out both legs without accidentally touching her. He felt very tense and slightly uncomfortable. This was the equivalent of bittersweet in terms of relaxing.
„You seem tense, Selenthis.“, Celestia began talking. „I presume that being in here with me is making you nervous?“
She pretty much hit the nail on the head, so all Selenthis could do was nodding.
„I am … sorry to hear that.“, the Princess said, facing away.
„Please, don’t be, Princess. It is entirely my fault. I’m just … I’m just not used to bathing with a mare. Especially one as respectable as you, your Highness.“, Selenthis exclaimed.
„How odd. I thought we were past such titles?“
„What do you mean?“, Selenthis replied.
Celestia spoke up. „I thought of us as equals, at least our special case. I like the thought of somepony who can look at me and just see me, not as a princess. Not as their superior. Just another pony. As equals. And you did give me the impression that you saw me this way, Selenthis. Was I wrong to think of it like that?“
„I … I don’t know, Princess. All of this is just … so much to take in. You were threatening to throw me in the dungeons just an hour ago. Justifiably, but still. All of this is just … it’s just too fast for me.“ Selenthis had no better way to describe it but his explanation did change the expression on Celestia’s face to a more sympathetic one.
„I admit, I did ease into this whole thing quite fast. I’m still figuring this out myself. Believe it or not. And that's what I like about it so much. I like being around you. The way you look at me. I feel so very young, insecure and different about it, and around you.“, the Princess glanced away from him.
„I do like this scenario in a strange kind of way. Just you and me, doing these things we did. Me, having no real way to process any of it. I do feel a certain desire, but in a completely different way. It’s just exciting for me, I really don’t like to phrase it like that, but I'm eager to experience more of this.“
Selenthis took a deep breath and collected his thoughts. „Do you really feel that way around me, Princess? How can you trust me enough to say these things? With all due respect, I honestly think it’s unreasonable to just trust somepony like that in such a short time. I propose that we should keep a safe distance for now, and figure this out first.“
„You’re probably right, Selenthis. It would be the safer thing to do, for the both of us. We shouldn’t rush this.“, Celestia sounded distant and slightly hurt. Selenthis bit his lip.
„I feel like I need to ask you if I should come over to you and comfort you? But that would contradict everything I just said. And it would only exacerbate our problem. So, for now, I’d like to just finish the drawing. I’m … I'm sorry.“, Selenthis exhaled.
„I wouldn’t mind having you next to me right now, but you’re right. This isn’t what we agreed on.“, she concluded.
Selenthis got out of the tub, thinking if it was a mistake by joining her in the first place. Celestia didn’t feel much different about it. As she got out and felt her wet mane on her body, an idea came to her mind. But she would refrain from telling Selenthis for now. She caught herself staring at him, entirely unsure what her feelings for him were. If she had any at all. And if there are, what kind of feelings would they be? She couldn’t come up with an answer and banished the thought for now.
„So, I guess you want me to just stand here so you can color me accordingly?“ she asked, standing there next to the bathtub.
Selenthis nodded and quickly got back to his canvas, eager to finish his drawing. On one hand he really wanted to finish it but on the other he also wanted to just get it over with and get out of there. This realization did cause him pain but for now he had to focus and do what he came here to do. He almost overheard her question.
„Yes. Yes, please. Just remain there. I should be done soon.“, he replied, absentminded.
They didn’t talk further and the silence between them didn’t improve the awkward tension that began to creep around the bath. But it did give them time to think about their relationship and how far they were willing to go with this.
The only thing audible were the sounds of brushes gliding along canvas. Selenthis dyed the shape of Celestia in color and couldn’t help but admire her body in this scenario. The little droplets of water flowing down her body from her wet mane did bring some rather unpleasant thoughts into his mind. He thought hard not to blush and succeeded but the body had more than one way to showcase arousal.
Upon finalizing his work Selenthis couldn’t hide his erection anymore. He was embarrassed and would’ve done anything for it to not be as obvious as it is. Celestia took notice of his predicament and tried her best to just ignore it.
„I take it these are things that happen a lot, hmm?“, she said, playful but distant.
„Sometimes, yeah. You just can’t hide it and you do look very appealing with your wet mane and all.“, the bat said, truthful once again.
„I can’t blame you. Sometimes the bodily urges can’t be denied, I get that. Thanks for the compliment. Asking you to join me in the bathtub wasn’t my brightest idea. And I’m sorry forme lashing out on you. I was ... a bit lost in thought, that’s all. I let some things get the better of me and I wanted to apologize for that, Selenthis“
„I understand, Princess. I really wanted to be closer to you too, but I just ... I couldn’t do it. This is not what I would’ve wanted this to turn into. We should have taken a slower pace, I shouldn’t have joined you. How about we just forget about it and write it off as the bath steam that got to our heads?“
„Yes, I agree.“ Celestia smiled at him.
„Glad we are on the same page about it, Princess.“, Selenthis smiled back at her.
„Now, I have something to show you.“, he continued.
The way he flipped the canvas, presenting his final work could be a work of art in itself. Celestia had to chuckle at the sight of a naked Selenthis presenting a nude drawing of her while showing himself with an erection as well. The bat in question was oblivious to that and just raised his eyebrow in confusion.
Upon closer examination, Celestia found the finished drawing to be very pretty. It was a work of art for Celestia and it filled her with confidence.She would treasure this picture and this moment for a long time. The background added a lot to the scenery and upon looking at her nude self Celestia smiled. Selenthis had kept his promise and the Princess felt glad that she took his offer.
„Selenthis, I must congratulate you. You weren’t lying when you said you wanted to create art. I really like it. One can only imagine how much certain ponies would give up their soul to have it. I hope you find a safe place to put it on display.“, the Princess said.
Staring at her in confusion, Selenthis wanted to object but found her finger on his lips, silencing him. „I know what we discussed and I'd like to keep it that way. But since you went through all the trouble to create this I shall give you the option to keep it until our next session. You may or may not draw a copy of it if you like. I don’t really care as long as you return this one to me.“
Removing her finger, he continued to stare at her in confusion. „But … that means you won’t erase my memory?“, he concluded. To which the Princess nodded with a smile.
“And … you want to do it again? Are you sure about this?“
True, the prospect of having another chance to see and draw her did sound as appealing as winning the lottery but they had to be cautious. One wouldn’t want affection to creep into their nude spelunking.
The Solar Princess of Equestria nodded once again, moving her wet mane in between her breasts, letting it flow down to cover her marehood. It did little to redirect Selenthis’ blood flow but he didn’t care much.
„I may have some … ideas as to how you shall draw me next time. And I also believe we may find a solution to take care of any … bodily desires we may develop during such future sessions.“
Selenthis gulped. He was unsure what exactly she had in mind but boomed with joy anyway as the thought of seeing her again made him feel very happy and excited.
„It will be my pleasure, Princess.“
„Oh I'm positive it will, my lewd bat. And please, call me Tia.“
