The Great and Chaotic Date
"DISCORD!! What are you and your flying hogs doing here?!" Trixie asked, annoyed at their presence.
"Oh you know, just visiting my favorite saving the world buddy." Discord said with a smirk.
"Seriously? I'm your favorite, saving the world buddy?" Trixie asked, not believing a word he was saying.
"Of course!! I even brought you your favorite friends."
Discord grabbed one of the flying pigs and showed it to Trixie's face. This made Trixie glare at him in disgust and she swatted the pig away causing it to squeel and fly away.
"OH COME ON!! I brought you your favorite furry friends here and this is how you treat me?! Some saving the world friend you are!" Discord said.
"Okay Discord, I'm only going to say this once. STOP CALLING ME YOUR SAVING THE WORLD FRIEND!! And stop calling these farm animals my furry friends because they're not my friends and they don't have a piece of fur on a single part of their body!!" Trixie yelled.
This caught Discord off guard and caused him to be silent for a few minutes. He hadn't expected Trixie to snap at him like that.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, I thought it'd be easier to tell you this, but….." Discord said, not knowing what else to say.
"Easier to tell me this way? Why would you think flying swines would make it easier to talk to me? Also what are you trying to tell-"
"I need your help!!" Discord said, causing Trixie to jump up in surprise.
"You need my help? With what?" Trixie asked, confused at what Discord meant.
Discord sighed. He dissipated all the flying pigs that were around him and Trixie. He then cleaned all the dust off the stage. After he was done, he turned his direction to where Trixie was.
"Okay um…I don't know how to say this but…."
"I swear Discord this better not be one of your annoying jokes!" Trixie said.
"It's not, it's not just listen please! It has something to do with Fluttershy……."
"Fluttershy?" Trixie asked.
"Yeah, I asked Fluttershy out on a date to a restaurant tomorrow and she said yes…"
"Okay and…." Trixie said, trying to see where Discord was heading with this.
Discord closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"..And I don't know what to do exactly, so I was wondering if you could help me prepare for the date tomorrow." Discord said.
Trixie just raised an eyebrow.
"Uhh..okay. You just talk to her and if she feels like it, kiss her at the end." Trixie said.
"Well yeah, but I mean what do I do other than that? I mean isn't there other stuff you have to do before that?" Discord asked.
"I don't know, I never been on a date before. Why would you expect me to be an expert at love?" Trixie said.
"Geez I don't know. I thought since you were the great and powerful Trixie that you would have simple wisdom of love, but I guess not." Discord said.
Trixie opened her mouth, but she couldn't think of anything to respond back with. She hadn't expected Discord to say that. All she could do was just glare at him.
"Hey you can't tell me I'm wrong. I thought you would have some love advice."
Trixie facepalmed.
"WELL, if you're disappointed that I don't have any love advice for you, why didn't you ask Spike or Big Mac? Especially, Big Mac! He actually has a girl!" Trixie said.
"Well I would, but Spike is busy working at the school with Twilight and Big Mac is off on a cruise with Sugar Belle." Discord said.
"Then why not rudely teleport to where they are and ask them, like you normally do." Trixie said.
"Hmm, good question. I guess the best answer I can give you is that over the time of my friendship with them, I learned to have some self respect. Which I know, is weird even for me." Discord replied.
Trixie facepalmed again, this time grunting.
"What?! I can't help it, being with other ponies has changed me over the years!"
"And ironically enough, not in a good way." Trixie muttered.
"What?"
"Nothing! Look, how do you expect me to help you with your date problem tomorrow? It's not like I've ever been on a date before!" Trixie said.
Discord started thinking. The date was tomorrow afternoon, so he only had today to figure out how he was going to prepare for it. He then remembered what Trixie had said earlier and it gave him an idea. The problem was he didn't know how she was going to respond to this, but it was his best shot.
"Okay I have an idea."
"What is it?" Trixie asked.
"Okay, so I know this is going to sound weird at first…."
"Trust me Discord, from everything you've done in the past I can't think of anything you could say that would be even weirder." Trixie said.
"Okay cool, now that I know that anything I say won't be weird to you, here's my idea: Let's go on a date with each other tonight, at the same restaurant that I'm taking Fluttershy to tomorrow."
Trixie stared at him for a few seconds and then she burst out laughing.
"Okay Discord I'll admit, that one was really funny. You really outdone yourself this-"
As Trixie was talking, she noticed that Discord wasn't laughing. In fact, it almost looked like he was being serious…..
"Okay, I know that I said I don't want to hear any more jokes, but please tell me you weren't being serious…." Trixie said.
Discord nervously smiled and scratched his neck while turning his face a little. Trixie knew that look well, it was the look that confirmed her fears.
"No NO NO, EW!!! I'm the great and powerful Trixie dammit!! Not some DIRTY STREET HOOKER!!!"
"OH COME ON!! You said that nothing I say wouldn't be weirder than what I've done before!!" Discord said.
"That was before you said that!!!"
"OH GIVE ME A BREAK!! You should expect this kind of stuff from me. Plus, it's not going to be anything crazy, just think of it as a practice date." Discord insisted.
"A PRACTICE DATE?!!"
"Yeah, a practice date! It's kind of like how you rehearse for your magical performances before you actually do it in front of the audience. You can't just do anything without practicing." Discord explained.
"Oh my god, the fact that you're even making that analogy with my magical performances……"
"Oh come on, please!" Discord said, giving his best puppy dog eyes expression.
"ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Find someone else to be your street hooker!!"
Trixie started to walk away. Discord then quickly teleported and got in front of her.
"Move out of my way!!" Trixie demanded.
"WAIT, what if I made a negotiation?" Discord asked.
"There's nothing that you can offer me that'll make me go out on a fake date with you!" Trixie said, trying to move past him.
"Okay, what about this? I overheard you telling Starlight that she doesn't have to come help you with your magic performance next week, so I was thinking……"
"I'll be fine on my own, thank you." Trixie interrupted.
"Oh please, everyone knows the only reason your magical performances haven't fallen apart is because Starlight is nice enough to use her break time to come over and carry your entire magical act. Without her your entire thing would be a mess." Discord said.
This caused Trixie to stop and look up at him.
"Wait, everyone knows about that?" Trixie asked.
"Mmhmm." Discord replied.
Trixie thought about it for a second and then immediately shook her head and continued to try and move past Discord.
"No, I still won't do it!!"
"Seriously? Are you really going to put your stage performance on the line over one fake date?!" Discord asked, still stopping her from moving past him.
"YESS!!"
Discord sighed. He moved out of the way causing Trixie to trip a little.
"Come on, I promise I won't ever bother or disturb you ever again. Just do this one thing for me, please Trixie."
Trixie froze, she never heard Discord say her name before. She looked up at his eyes and she saw the desperateness in them. She could've also sworn that she had seen a tear in one of them. She gave a huge sigh and turned towards Discord’s direction.
"Okay fine Discord, I'll do it….." Trixie said in defeat.
Discord's face morphed into a huge smile. The flying pigs appeared back as he hugged Trixie.
"..ON TWO CONDITIONS!!"
The flying pigs vanished as Discord stopped hugging Trixie and listened to what she had to say.
"One, you have to help me with the rest of my magic performances and two, you have to get me five bags of cinnamon nuts each week." Trixie said, firmly.
"Okay the second one I can definitely do, but helping you with the rest of your stage performances?! I was only planning on helping you with one of your performances, not all of-"
Discord was about to finish his sentence, but stopped, seeing Trixie glare at him.
"Okay, okay I'll help you with all of your performances. So is it a deal? You'll go out on this fake date with me and in return I will help you with all your stage performances while also giving you five bags of cinnamon nuts each week?"
"Yes, unfortunately." Trixie said.
"Great, also the restaurant we're going to is called Luxurious Lunches."
"Luxurious Lunches, really?" Trixie asked.
"Yep, also is 6:00 o'clock okay with you?"
"Sure…." Trixie said, unenthusiastically.
"Nice, see you then. Ta ta!"
Discord waved and teleported away, leaving Trixie by herself on the stage, again.
"Did he not realize he picked one of the most expensive restaurants in Ponyville? Heck, some of the restaurants in Manehattan aren't as overly priced as that place."
Suddenly as on cue, a note appeared on Trixie's nose. She rolled her eyes and opened the note. She then started reading what was on it.
Dear Trixie,
Don't worry about paying for tonight. Everything is on me. Although, if you're willing to bring a few bits or two, that'll be well appreciated :)
From your dearest saving the world buddy, Discord.
After Trixie was done reading the note that Discord left behind, she crumbled it up and tossed it away.
"Trixie Lulamoon, what have you gotten yourself into?" Trixie asked herself.
Trixie then walked away to her wagon and started preparing for the crazy night she would have later on that day.
The Great and Chaotic Date
Discord was standing by the restaurant, ready in his black suit. He had started to get a little bit worried. It was 20 minutes past 6 o'clock and Trixie still hadn't arrived yet. He was starting to think Trixie had bailed out last minute. Just as he was worried, he heard footsteps behind him. Discord sighed in relief and turned around behind him.
"Oh my god Trixie you had me worried there for a second. I thought you dipped out last second and…..and……."
There standing in front of him was Trixie. She was wearing a white and blue dress, with some makeup on her face as well.
"Sorry I'm late, it took awhile to figure out how to put the makeup on. I don't know how Rarity can put this stuff on so effortlessly." Trixie said.
"Wow Trixie you look…."
"Say something and I'll leave right now!!" Trixie said, motioning her body away from Discord.
"Geez, relax! All I was going to say is that you look nice."
"Right….." Trixie said, raising an eyebrow.
"You don't have to be so sensitive, you know, I was just complimenting you."
"SENSITIVE?! WHY YOU-"
Trixie was about to yell at Discord, but suddenly she stopped. Behind him, she could see a familiar face walking towards them. When she looked closer and recognized the face, she quickly hid behind Discord.
"Uhh….I'm confused. Why are you hiding behind me?" Discord asked.
"SHH!! I don't want Starlight to know I'm here with you!" Trixie said.
"Starlight? Where do you see Starlight at?"
"Hey Discord!" Starlight said, walking towards him.
Discord turned out and saw that Starlight walked in front of him.
"Oh hey Starlight I didn't expect you to be here." Discord said.
"Yeah, I just came here because I thought I saw Trixie here."
"Oh she's definitely here, she's just hiding behind me." Discord said.
Discord teleported Trixie next to him, allowing for Starlight to see her.
"Oh hey Trixie, why were you hiding behind Discord?" Starlight asked.
"Because I didn't want you to see me like this!"
"Why wouldn't I want to see you like this? I think you and Discord's outfits are very nice. Is it for a special occasion?" Starlight said.
"Well…"
"It's for a practice date me and Trixie are going to go on tonight at Luxurious Lunches." Discord interjected.
"A practice date?" Starlight asked in confusion.
"Yeah, it's to get me ready for my actual date with Fluttershy tomorrow." Discord said.
"Oh….okay…." Starlight said.
Trixie got up and walked between Starlight and Discord.
"Listen Starlight, I know all of this sounds crazy and I'd understand if you thought that I was someone from the loony bin right now." Trixie said.
"No, Trixie I totally understand. That's nice of you for helping Discord out like that, even if it is a little ridiculous."
"That's an understatement." Trixie muttered.
"Well, I hope you and Discord have a wonderful time tonight and I hope the date goes well." Starlight said, waving goodbye and walking away.
Discord looked up at Trixie with a smile.
"See, it wasn't that bad."
"Uhhh…..let's just get this over with..." Trixie said.
When both of them were ready, Discord and Trixie entered the restaurant. As they entered inside, they could see there was a huge crowd of ponies standing in line. There were also some that were sitting in the seats at the side, probably waiting for the extensive line to subside.
"Wow, I didn't expect the line to be this long……" Discord said, looking at the big line of ponies.
"Well what did you expect?! You picked one of the most expensive places you can ever go to in Ponyville, of course there's going to be lots of ponies here!! Now it's probably going to take us at least an hour before we can get seated!" Trixie said.
"Oh relax, don't be so negative! You forgot that you're having a date with the lord of chaos!"
Discord snapped his fingers and teleported the ponies in the room, leaving only him, Trixie and the receptionist there.
"I thought you said your friends taught you to have some self respect?" Trixie asked.
"They did! All I did was add a few extra seats in the restaurant and teleported ponies into those specific seats." Discord said.
"Huh…that's actually pretty smart." Trixie said, impressed.
"I know right? Now we need to hurry before all the seats I placed in there get taken!"
Discord then wrapped his arm around Trixie and started walking up to the receptionist.
"W-Wait! What do you think you're doing?!" Trixie asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean why do you have your arm around me like that?!" Trixie said.
"Because this is a practice date! We need to have everyone to believe we're actually going out with each other so that it feels real. Plus I've never touched a girl before, so this will be good practice for when I'm with Fluttershy tomorrow."
Trixie almost gagged at the explanation Discord gave. However, she reluctantly went along with it, knowing it'd be too late to back out now. They arrived at the receptionist, and started picking the seats.
"Excuse me, we're ready to pick our seats." Discord said.
"Right away sir. Wait, are both of you on a date?" The receptionist asked.
"Yes indeed." Discord said, squeezing onto Trixie tighter.
"Celestia please kill me now….." Trixie muttered as she was squeezed by Discord's arm.
"We have special seats reserved for those that are going out on a date." The receptionist explained.
"Great, we'll take them!" Discord said.
"Very good sir! Follow me this way!" The receptionist said, signaling them to his direction.
They followed the receptionist inside. When they got inside, they could see ponies chatting and eating together at different tables. There were even some familiar ponies that were there too.
"Is that Rarity and Applejack over that?" Trixie asked.
"Yeah it appears they're on a date on their own as well." Discord whispered to Trixie.
"Actually, I think I heard Starlight saying that they're like a couple now." Trixie said.
"But even if they're a couple wouldn't they still be going on a date?" Discord asked.
"I don't think that's how it works." Trixie said.
"How would you know? You said you don't have any love advice." Discord said, smirking.
"Shut up!" Trixie said, grunting.
They continued to walk with the receptionist until finally they arrived at their seats.
"Thank you so much sir! Here's my tip for helping us get our seats." Discord said, snapping his fingers.
A huge bag of bits then appeared on the receptionist's back.
"Oh.....thank you sir! I'll get a waiter to come here soon to pick out your drinks."
The receptionist then slowly walked away, carrying the heavy bag of bits on his back.
"I really like that guy, he's a really good receptionist, don't you think?" Discord said.
Trixie just rolled her eyes. They then sat down and took their seats. As they were seated, Trixie could hear loud jazz music behind her. She turned around to see where the music was coming.
"Who's playing that music?" Trixie asked, looking around the place.
Discord pointed to where the source of the music was. Trixie turned to where he was pointing at and when she saw what he was pointing she immediately facepalmed.
"Seriously?"
"What? I thought giving the ponies musical chairs would make tonight more exciting. Plus, you can't tell me that jazz music isn't the perfect music for tonight." Discord said.
"I guess I can't argue with that. Anyways, I think we should open our menus to see what we want to drink." Trixie replied.
"Yeah you're right. Wouldn't want the waiter to throw a fit if we're not ready." Discord said, opening his menu.
They both opened their menus and started looking inside. After Trixie was finished reading, she put the menu under her cup.
"Okay, I'm just going to get a cup of water." Trixie said.
"That's it?!" Discord asked.
"Uh…yeah?" Trixie said.
"No juice, no soda, no milkshake?!!" Discord asked, shocked.
"Nah, I'm not that thirsty right now." Trixie said.
"Come on Trixie! You can't just go on a date and have the drink you order to just be bland water!!" Discord said.
"FINE!! Then what would you want me to drink?" Trixie asked.
Discord grabbed his menu and looked at the drinks sections. He started reading the drinks section until he smiled and put the menu down on the table.
"Uh oh….." Trixie said, starting to regret telling Discord to pick her drink.
"How about we do the mystery special?" Discord said.
"The mystery special?" Trixie asked, confused.
"Yeah. So basically, you get a mysterious drink that comes alongside with a mystery meal. We will know nothing about what the drink or meal is or how it tastes. I think it'd be a fun surprise for the both of us!" Discord said with a grin.
"Yay! That totally doesn't sound sketchy at all….." Trixie said sarcastically.
"Don't worry! I put a magical barrier around our organs, just in case anything crazy happened." Discord said.
"Okay…..thank you I guess. So, how much does it cost?" Trixie asked.
Discord scratched his neck a little.
"You know…..I personally don't think prices are that important. It's the meal itself that counts, right?" Discord said, giving a nervous smile.
Trixie ignored what Discord said and used her magic to open the menu and looked inside. She kept searching until she found where it said, the mystery special. When she saw the price, she almost ripped the entire menu in half.
"1,000 BITS?!! I could use that money to buy myself better stage supplies!! There's no way I'm paying 1,000 bits for-"
Before Trixie could say anything else, Discord put his lion paw on her mouth. He first put his finger on his mouth signaling for to calm down and then he pointed at himself. Trixie knew what Discord meant in the latter. She sighed and took Discord's hands off her mouth.
"Fine….."
"Thank you Trixie! I promise you won't regret this!" Discord said.
"Oh trust me, I already have……."
They started waiting for the waiter to show up. After a few minutes, a familiar pony started bouncing towards them.
"Heya, Trixie and Discord! Ooh, nice outfits!"
"PINKIE?!" Discord and Trixie said at the same time.
"Yep, it's me! It's quite a wonderful surprise to see you bounce by!" Pinkie said.
"Yeah….I could say the same for you…..I didn't know you worked here. I thought you worked for Mr. And Mrs. Cakes at Sugarcube Corner?" Trixie asked.
"I still do, silly! It's just that Mr. And Mrs. Cakes were going on a vacation to take Pound and Pumpkin to Pony World and they told me to take care of the bakery while they were gone and I was like, okey dokey lovey! So then after watching over the bakery for a few days, I started getting bored since customers weren't showing up. So I thought why not head over to Luxurious Lunches and work over there for a few days?! Which let me tell you, took a really long time to get hired there because-"
"Okay, okay! We don't need the whole story!" Trixie said, cutting Pinkie off.
"Oh come on, I wanted to hear the rest of it!" Discord said.
"If we heard the rest of the story, we'd be sitting here all night!" Trixie replied.
"Fine….." Discord said, reluctantly.
"So, what can I get you two lovebirds today?" Pinkie asked.
"Lovebirds?!!"
"The mystery special please." Discord said, chiming over Trixie.
Pinkie stopped writing in her little notebook and just stared up at Discord and Trixie.
"Did you just say the mystery special?!" Pinkie asked, surprised.
"Why yes I did." Discord said.
"Like the mystery special?" Pinkie reiterated.
"Yes?......" Discord said, not really sure where Pinkie was getting at.
"Ponies who have gotten the mystery special have gotten…….let's just say, catastrophic results! So, I'm going to ask you this once…." Pinkie said, taking a huge breath.
"Are you REALLY, REALLY SURE you're ready for the mystery special?"
"I mean I wasn't ready to go on this practice date with Discord, but for some reason I'm still doing it." Trixie said.
"THAT'S THE SPIRIT!!" Discord cheered.
"Well okey dokey lokey, if you say so! But just know, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!" Pinkie said, with an evil grin.
She closed her notebook and bounced away, laughing maniacally.
"Wow, she's really fired up about this. I wonder what's inside the mystery special. What do you think will be-"
Discord turned towards Trixie and he could see that she was shaking up in fear over something.
"Is everything alright?" Discord asked, in concern.
"No, not when Pinkie is laughing like a lunatic." Trixie said.
"Oh come on, don't let Pinkie get to you. Pinkie is just being Pinkie. I'm sure she's not going to put anything too crazy in the mystery special." Discord said.
"What makes you say that?! That mare is so unpredictable! She once put spaghetti in a chocolate cake! IN A CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!" Trixie said.
"Spaghetti in chocolate cake? I don't know, that actually sounds delicious." Discord said, licking his lips.
Trixie facepalmed.
"That's not the point!! What if she puts mud all over my food or worse, what if she puts worms in my drink or-"
Discord quickly manifested a paper bag and gave it to Trixie. Trixie snatched the bag and started blowing hard in it.
"Oh come on, you really got to learn to relax. You can't ever have fun if you're negative all the time." Discord said.
"Yeah you're right, I'm sorry. Usually I'm the fun one when I'm with Starlight." Trixie said.
"It's okay Trixie, there's nothing to apologize about. In fact, I feel like some of this is kind of my fault since I did kind of drag you into all of this."
Trixie glared at Discord.
"YOU THINK?!" Trixie yelled.
"R-Right! So to make up for it, I've created a game we could play." Discord said.
"A game?"
Discord snapped his fingers and the paper bag had disappeared away. In place of it was a stack of cards that had a bunch of words on it.
"Yes. A game called, Guess That Pony!" Discord announced.
He was so loud that everyone in the eating room stopped what they were doing and stared at him.
"Heh…heh….sorry about that everyone my partner just got a little carried away. But, on another note, if you're bored next week, the great and powerful TRIXIE will have a wonderful stage performance with even better effects than last week's. So don't pass up this chance to experience true greatness with the great and powerful TRIXIE!!" Trixie announced, doing her iconic pose at the end.
There wasn't a single sound in the eating room. Everyone just stared at her like she was from the loony bin. Finally after a few more minutes of awkward staring, all the ponies went back to chatting and eating their food. Trixie grunted and sat back down in her seat.
"Well that was a bust!" Trixie said.
"It was indeed. Quick question, why do you always find a need to advertise your stage performances?" Discord said.
"And why do you always find a need to make a scene out of everything?!!" Trixie snapped back.
Discord thought about it for a few seconds and then just shrugged.
"Touche. Anyways, back to, Guess That Pony!"
"SHH!! We need to keep it down! I don't want these ponies to think that we're deranged maniacs from a loony bin!" Trixie whispered.
"Right, my bad." Discord whispered back.
Discord went on to explain the rules of Guess That Pony. One player gives you a card that has a description about a specific pony. Your objective is to use the description from that card to guess the right pony. Weirdly enough it sounded like a very simple game that a regular game business pony would make up to earn more bits.
"...And, if you fail to guess the pony correctly, you'll have to act like the right pony for 30 minutes." Discord said.
… And I stand corrected……………………………
"30 minutes?!" Trixie asked.
"Okay, okay I know, that's probably a bit too much. How about 10 minutes?" Discord asked.
"Still a lot, but that's far better than 30 minutes!" Trixie said.
"Alright, great! So, are you ready to play?" Discord asked.
Trixie took a deep breath and stared back at Discord.
"I'm ready." Trixie said.
"Okay I'll give you the first card. Just read what it says and guess who it is." Discord said.
"Okay." Trixie said.
Discord grabbed one of the cards, he looked at it and laughed. He then placed the card in front of Trixie. Trixie picked up the card and started reading it.
I have white fur and a stereotypical 90's women hairstyle. I'm on my period 24/7, which is probably why everypony calls me the drama queen. I also love playing around with my friend's purple assistant. Who am I?
After Trixie was done reading the card, she placed the card down and stared up at Discord.
"Rarity." Trixie said.
Discord burst out with laughter. He was holding his laughter the moment Trixie grabbed the card. He kept on laughing until he saw that Trixie wasn't laughing and was staring at him.
"Oh come on, you don't think that was funny?" Discord asked.
"No, not really." Trixie said.
"You gotta admit the Rarity having a period 24/7 and the stereotypical hair part was funny though. I mean come on, that whole pony’s get up just screams, ice queen!" Discord said.
"You do realize that Rarity and Applejack are sitting 2 seats behind you, right?" Trixie said.
"They are?" Discord asked.
Discord turned and looked behind him. Trixie was right. Just 2 seats away from him was Rarity and Applejack staring at him.
"Oh, they are." Discord said, realizing his mistake.
He nervously smiled and waved as Rarity and Applejack gave him glaring looks.
"Heyyyy Rarity……" Discord said, nervously.
"Hmph!!" Rarity said, turning her face away.
"Okay……how about from now on, we only do ponies that aren't here in the area with us……" Discord said.
"Best idea you had since this entire day." Trixie said.
Discord grabbed the deck of cards and used his magic to shuffle and change them. When he was finished, he placed the cards back on the table.
"Okay, let's start over. This time I changed the deck. You're ready?" Discord said, placing his hand over the cards.
"Sure." Trixie said.
Discord quickly grabbed the card and looked at it. And like before, he laughed while reading it.
"I know for sure this is going to be a good one!" Discord said, placing the card in front of Trixie.
Trixie rolled her eyes as she picked up the card and started reading it.
I am a tall and muscular stallion. Unfortunately, my brain is as big as a raisin. It's so big that jealousy tends to take over when I see my favorite guard try to woo my baby little sister. I also realized I'm not as strong as I say I am since I'm physically weaker than my wife and my daughter. Who am I?
When Trixie was finished reading she placed the card on the table and stared up at Discord. This time however she burst out in laughter. Discord laughed alongside her.
"Okay, Okay! That was funny!!" Trixie said, still laughing.
"See? I told you that was a good one!" Discord said, still laughing alongside Trixie.
They both kept laughing with each other for a while until finally Discord was the first to calm down.
"Alright, alright. What's the answer?" Discord asked.
"Shining Armor." Trixie said, trying to contain herself.
"Correct!" Discord said.
He then pulled out a beeper that made a ding ding sound as he finished his sentence.
"Okay, now it's your turn to give me a card." Discord said, pushing the deck of cards to Trixie.
"Oh okay, so I can just pick any card?" Trixie asked.
"Yep, as long as it's on the deck." Discord explained.
"Okay." Trixie said, closing her eyes.
She kept moving her hoof around until it finally landed on the deck. Without looking, she took out a random card from the deck. She then opened her eyes and looked at the card. After she looked at the card, she smiled.
"The description is very accurate to this pony." Trixie said, placing the card in front of Discord.
Discord grabbed the card and started reading it. The description of the card started out talking about how the pony has a mix of a blue and purple mane and a not so good background. The pony's childhood was basically a goth phase that she grew out of and turned into a sociopathic smiling weirdo that had a weird hatred against shiny things on the front of ponies butt. The last thing the card said was that the pony also has short fuzes whenever she is around a certain powerful mare. After Discord was finished reading his card, he placed it down and started thinking.
"Come on, this one is an easy one. We talked to her before we entered the restaurant." Trixie said.
"You're right! I know who it is!" Discord said.
"Who is it?" Trixie asked.
"SUNSET SHIMMER!! Am I right?!" Discord answered.
"No…..the answer was Starlight Glimmer." Trixie said.
"Dang it! I can't believe I did it again! I always get the Shimmer and Glimmer mixed up!!" Discord said.
"But…aren't you the one who made not just the cards, but the game? You should've been able to know the answer from the get go." Trixie said.
"HEY, IT'S NOT MY FAULT!! I would've gotten that answer right if it weren't for the fact that both Starlight and Sunset's last names sound so similar to each other!" Discord insisted.
"Touche I guess." Trixie said.
"Anyways, since I lost…."
Discord snapped his fingers, causing a familiar blue and purple mane, with also the light pink skin color on his body. He then started making his ridiculous impression of Starlight.
"Hey I'm Starlight and I always talk about being modest even though I love talking about how skilled I am at magic! I also have a vendetta on anything that shines on a pony’s butt!"
This caused Trixie to laugh ballistically.
"Oh my god Discord, that's exactly how Starlight acts whenever we're together." Trixie said, laughing even harder.
"Wait till you see this!" Discord said, with a smile.
Discord cleared his throat and started doing more impressions of Starlight.
"Not only am I basically a copycat of Twilight Sparkle, but I also occasionally have to take minutes off my break just to carry my friends' entire show. Even though most of the time, all she does is say great and powerful repeatedly!"
"HEY!!" Trixie said, realizing the insult.
"Sorry, but you gotta admit that some of it is true though!"
"You didn't have to rub it in…." Trixie muttered.
"Sorry I couldn't resist. Anyhoo, it's my turn to give you a card."
Discord took off his Starlight appearance and grabbed a card from the deck. After he was finished looking at it, he placed the card down on the table, in front of Trixie.
"I wonder what this card will say." Trixie said, picking up the card.
Trixie looked at the card and immediately knew just from reading it that this one was a lot harder. The description read: I'm an earth pony struggling with no emotion syndrome. I like to stare at ponies whenever I get a chance to since I'm weird like that. And if that wasn't weird, I also have a crazy fetish with black objects that are all over the place. It's even got to a point where I get a mini orgasm when I see my boyfriend get turned into one of those objects. I'm also a relative of a crazy mare that always wants to throw a party. Who am I?
Confused, Trixie placed the card down and looked up at Discord.
"I don't get it." Trixie said.
"Oh, that joke didn't land for you as well?" Discord asked.
"No, it was funny! It's just that I don't know anyone that would match that description." Trixie said.
"Okay I'll give you a hint." Discord said.
"Alright, what's the hint?" Trixie asked.
"You were the one that made the cake for the pony’s spring party thing they were doing with their boyfriend." Discord said.
Trixie started thinking, but unfortunately nothing came up.
"Sorry, nothing is ringing a bell." Trixie said.
"Okay, here's another hint: You've worked on a rock farm with this pony before."
"I have?" Trixie asked.
"Yep."
Trixie started thinking really hard. This time, she came up with a result.
"Oh wait!! Is it Pinkie's mom? Because, all that pony did was just stand there and stare at me while I was breaking rocks. Ahh! Good riddance to that mare!" Trixie said.
Discord shook his head and pulled out the beeper, that made an err sound this time.
"The correct answer was Maud." Discord said, flipping the card around and showing the name.
"Ohhhh, that makes sense now." Trixie said.
"I mean yeah, it doesn't make sense that Pinkie's mom would throw a spring party. Plus, I doubt you would make a cake for her." Discord said.
"You're definitely right about that! Although to be honest, Pinkie's whole family is weird." Trixie said.
"True that! So since you got that one incorrect, you have to act like Maud for 10 minutes." Discord said.
"I have the perfect voice for this!" Trixie said, rubbing her hoofs in excitement.
Trixie took a second to compose herself. When she was ready, she opened her eyes and started doing her interpretation of Maud.
"Hello I'm Maud and I have a weird thing for rocks. I find every rock I see to be very sexy! I even have a rock that I have as a pet and his name is boulder. Which is basically the most stereotypical name you could give to a rock!"
This caused Discord to laugh hysterically. Trixie kept doing her Maud impression as Discord kept laughing.
"I also love it whenever my boyfriend becomes a silent stone. I find that stuff very kinky! I also have a fascination with smashing rocks with my family, no condoms necessary!"
At this point Discord was laughing so much that in small little pauses he had to tell himself to breathe, which didn't really help that much. Seeing Discord laugh so much, made Trixie laugh alongside him. They laughed for so long that Trixie forgot that she had 3 more minutes to act as Maud.
"What did you say about Maud?!"
As soon as they heard who said that, Discord and Trixie simultaneously stopped laughing and turned to the direction of the voice. Standing there while staring at them menacingly, was no one other than Pinkie Pie. Discord quickly dissipated the cards and both him and Trixie smiled nervously at Pinkie.
"Uhhh…..hey Pinkie……what were you asking about Maud?......" Discord said, sweating a little.
"I was asking what you were saying about Maud. Because I thought I heard someone here saying mean things about her, am I wrong?" Pinkie said, glaring at Discord and Trixie.
"Y-Yeah you're wrong…..we didn't say anything about Maud, Pinkie. I-I mean…why would anyone do that?.......That's terrible, right?.....Heh heh……." Trixie said, sputtering with each word she spoke.
Pinkie kept glaring at both of them, until eventually she just giggled and smiled.
"Hahaha, you're right. Why would anyone do that to Maud? I must've heard it in my head or something. Silly me!"
Both Trixie and Discord sighed in relief.
"Anyways, now that's out of the way. Let's get on to the main event!" Pinkie said.
Pinkie put a plate of spaghetti and meatballs on the table. The spaghetti looked to have a weird red filling in it and the meatballs had a light green tint to it.
"The mystery special meal is finally revealed!! We have strawberry jam spaghetti with relish and mustard meatballs!! Pinkie announced.
Discord smiled in amazement while Trixie just stared at it in disgust.
"And now for the drinks….."
Pinkie then placed two drinks on the table. She put one of them in front of Trixie and the other one in front of Discord. The drink that was placed in front of Trixie had a dark red color and a fiery color when it bubbled on the top. For Discord on the other hand, his drink had a bright pink and white color to it. There were even some chocolate chips at the top.
"For the mystery drinks, we have the Spicy Buffalo Wings Soda for Trixie. And for Discord, we have the Chocolate Chip Watermelon Kitty Cat Surprise!" Pinkie announced.
Discord took a sip of his drink and smiled.
"Mmmmm, this tastes really good!" Discord said.
"Thanks Discord!! What about yours, Trixie?" Pinkie asked.
Trixie stared at the drink. The drink looked to be quite unstable. The amount of bubbles that were in the drink didn't seem normal.
"Uhhh no, I haven't tried it yet. Uh hey Pinkie….are you sure this doesn't violate any laws with the health code and everything….." Trixie said, weary of the drink.
"I'm not sure since me and the cooks never tested it out on a pony before. We always make a different meal for the mystery special. I mean we can't have ponies spoiling the mystery surprise, can we?" Pinkie said.
That first sentence didn't make Trixie feel any better about drinking it. Nevertheless, she decided it wouldn't kill her to just take a sip hopefully. She then took a deep breath and took a little sip of the drink. And with one sip, she immediately started coughing.
"Soo…..how was it?" Pinkie asked.
"It's very….spicy…" Trixie said, pushing the drink away.
"Great, well enjoy your meal! I'll be back later on with the check." Pinkie said, about to bounce away.
"WAIT!" Discord said.
He then walked over to Pinkie. Trixie watched as Discord whispered to Pinkie.
"Hey, what are you two talking about?" Trixie asked.
Discord ignored Trixie's question and kept whispering to Pinkie. After he was done, Pinkie grinned and gave a wink to Trixie. She then went on to bounce away.
"What was that all about?" Trixie asked.
"Let's just say you'll be in for a real treat!" Discord said.
"Okay……" Trixie said, accepting Discord's vague answer.
"So, are we ready to eat?" Discord said, picking up a fork.
"Go ahead….I'm not hungry." Trixie said, pushing the plate of spaghetti and meatballs to Discord's direction.
"Oh come on, you haven't even tried it yet." Discord said.
"I don't need to try it to know it's going to be absolutely repulsive!!" Trixie said.
"Okay how about we make a deal?" Discord said.
Trixie sighed.
"Here we go again……"
"If you eat some of the strawberry jam spaghetti and the relish and mustard meatballs, I'll take the leftovers from the plate and put it in your Spicy Buffalo Wings Soda and drink it. And as a bonus, I'll let you drink the rest of my Chocolate Chip Watermelon Kitty Cat Surprise because let me tell you, it's really good!" Discord said.
"Wow, you really have a way of getting me to do things I don't want to, huh?" Trixie said.
"Yep." Discord said.
"Uhhh, fine." Trixie said.
Trixie grabbed a fork that was next to her. She then slowly used the fork to pick up a swirl of the spaghetti. After she was done with that, she then used the pointed ends of the fork to pick up the big meatball.
"Do I have to eat this?" Trixie asked.
"Yep." Discord said.
Trixie took a big gulp. She then placed the food in her mouth. Within a few seconds, she started gagging.
"Discord….give me a bag, QUICK!" Trixie said, gagging even more.
"ON IT!" Discord said, spawning a bag.
Trixie grabbed the bag and started spitting the food inside. After Trixie was finished, she crumbled the bag up and grabbed a napkin from the napkin container.
"Oh my god…..don't EVER make me do anything like that again….." Trixie said, wiping her mouth.
"Noted! Maybe this will help!"
Discord pushed his drink over to Trixie. Trixie looked at the drink hesitantly.
"Don't worry I promise it's not going to cause you to vomit." Discord said, pushing the drink closer to Trixie.
"Fine, what do I have to lose over a bad hangover?" Trixie said, reluctantly.
Trixie put the drink right below her mouth. She closed her eyes and said a little prayer to Celestia before she took a sip of the drink. One sip later turned into her drinking the entire drink in one go.
"Wow, you were right Discord. This drink is really good. Definitely better than the spaghetti and meatballs. Thank you." Trixie said.
"See? I told you that the drink was good. Now………" Discord said, looking at Trixie's spicy drinks and the leftover food on the table.
"Wait, Discord! You don't have to do it if you don't want to. I don't care about that dumb bet!" Trixie said.
Discord smiled in relief.
"Thank you because I don't know if the magical barrier I put around my organs would've been enough to handle all that."
"Yeah, none of that stuff seems even remotely legal." Trixie said.
"Yeah, but I'll eat the stuff separately though!" Discord said.
Discord turned his mouth into a vacuum cleaner and started sucking in all the leftover food into his mouth. After he was finished, he drank all of Trixie’s drink in one go. He then wiped his mouth with one of the napkins from the napkin container.
"Ahhh, that was delicious." Discord said, burping as little bits of smoke came out of his mouth.
"I bet it was." Trixie said, giggling a little.
"And speaking of stuff that's delicious, here comes Pinkie with your special dessert!" Discord said.
"Dessert?" Trixie asked, confused.
Pinkie came bouncing over with a big plate in her hoof. When she arrived at the table, she placed the plate in front of where Trixie said.
"And here's the special dessert for a very special mare!" Pinkie said.
"Well I know that I am special, butwhat's the so-called special dessert?" Trixie asked.
"I can't tell you, silly! You have to find out for yourself!" Pinkie said.
Trixie shrugged and took the cover off the plate. When she saw what was on the plate, she almost jumped out of her seat.
"CINNAMON NUTS?!" Trixie asked, surprised.
Indeed they were cinnamon nuts. But they weren't just any regular cinnamon nuts. The cinnamon nuts had little bits of white frosting on them, including some strawberries on them.
"Thank you so much Pinkie! How did you know that cinnamon nuts were my favorite?!"
"Heh, I know everyone's favorite treats. Plus, don't thank me, it was Discord's idea." Pinkie said, pointing towards Discord.
Discord waved at Trixie. Trixie reached over the table and proceeded to hug Discord. This caused Discord to blush. Even though he didn't expect this to happen, he still weirdly enjoyed it very much.
"Your…welcome……" Discord said, hugging Trixie back.
"Uhhhhhh…..you two lovebirds deserve each other!" Pinkie said, admiring the scene.
They both kept hugging each other, until Discord pulled away, even though he secretly didn't want to.
"Sorry, but there's one more thing I need to tell you about the cinnamon nuts." Discord said.
"Really? What is it?" Trixie asked.
"Since they're called cinnamon nuts I had Pinkie put actual cinnamon filling inside the nuts!" Discord said.
"WHAT?!" Trixie said, absolutely flabbergasted.
"Yeah, try one now!" Discord said.
Trixie took a bite of the cinnamon nuts. And one bite was all it took for her to confirm what Discord was saying was true. She then started to go to town on the rest of the cinnamon nuts.
"Uhhh, I think we're ready for the check now." Discord said, smiling at Pinkie Pie.
"Alright, be back in a sec!" Pinkie said as she bounced away.
A few minutes later, Pinkie came back with the check.
"Here you go." Pinkie said, placing the check on the table.
"Thanks Pinkie!" Discord said, grabbing the check.
"No problemo! Have a great rest of your night. And, I may have a surprise for both of you next week." Pinkie said, smiling.
"Let me guess, a party?" Discord asked.
"Yep!" Pinkie said as she bounced away.
Discord smiled as he opened the check. Unfortunately, that smile immediately turned into a jaw drop when he saw the final bill on the bottom.
"What's the bill?" Trixie asked, finishing her past cinnamon nuts.
"Uhhhhhh…….you know what, I think it's best if you didn't know……." Discord said, closing the check.
Trixie just stared at Discord for a few seconds until she just shrugged.
"I guess since you did get me those cinnamon filled cinnamon nuts, I'll just take your word for it." Trixie said.
"Phew!! Thank you!" Discord said.
"No problem." Trixie replied.
After Discord paid the check with a big bag of bits, him and Trixie both finally exited out of the restaurant. They could feel the nightly breeze as they walked outside.
"Well, that was a fun night, don't you think?" Discord said.
"Yeah, it was pretty. It was a lot more fun than I thought it'd be!" Trixie said.
"I told you! And you were all so negative earlier! I feel like we should go on practice dates more often!" Discord said.
Trixie glared at Discord.
"Don't push it."
"R-Right, just a suggestion!" Discord said, nervously.
"But…….."
"But what?" Discord asked.
Trixie started walking closer to where Discord was. When Trixie came at least 2 inches closer, Discord was able to see the red blushes on her cheeks. Watching her like this, in a weird way, made him blush subconsciously too. When Trixie arrived at where Discord was standing, she looked up at his eyes.
"I really did have fun hanging out with you….." Trixie said.
"I had fun hanging out with you too….." Discord said, wrapping his arms around Trixie.
They both leaned in and started hugging each other. Discord started to get that same feeling he had when Trixie hugged him the first time. It was nice. They hugged for a little bit more until Trixie started breaking apart.
"Well, I hope the date with you and Fluttershy goes well tomorrow" Trixie said.
"Thank you and……I appreciate you for agreeing to do this with me." Discord said.
"Anytime, but remember what we negotiated from the beginning." Trixie said.
"Don't worry, I won't forget since you're always going to be reminding me with your great and powerful speech." Discord said.
The two of them laughed together. The joke was so funny that it would take them another 10 minutes for them to start composing themselves. After they finished composing themselves, they said their goodbyes to each other. Both of them waved as they walked away, with the red blushes still in their cheeks.
The Great and Chaotic Date
Trixie was sitting on her hammock, inside her wagon. She was reading a book that Starlight gave her. The book was about magic spells and magical stage performances. Basically, it was the perfect book for her to read. As she read the book, she started to feel a little thirsty. She got up from her hammock and walked to her cabinet. She took out a juice box and headed back to her hammock.
She sat on her hammock drinking her juice box while reading her book. As she was doing that, she heard a loud thud. She jumped up and looked around inside the wagon. She didn't see anything fall over in the wagon, so she shrugged and kept reading. Unfortunately, only a few minutes later, there was another thud, this time it was even louder. A little shaken up by it she looked inside her wagon again. But like before, nothing had fallen over. Now Trixie was confused. She didn't know where the thud was coming from. She then decided that she was going to ignore the noise by putting on headphones. So, Trixie put her juice box on her book and made her way under the hammock, where her headphones were at.
However, she didn't manage to even touch her headphones before the loud thud came back for a third time. The thud was so loud that it caused the hammock to flip over, causing the juice box and the book to fall on the ground. This consequently made the juice spill on the book. Watching this all unfolded, Trixie started fuming. Now she was furious. And what made it worse was that she had a few more pages left of the book, but now with the juice stain on it, it was going to be much harder to read.
She threw away the juice box and placed her book on the hammock. She then stormed outside, realizing the sound had to be outside her wagon. When she was outside, she turned to the right of her wagon, seeing a surprising sight. There in front of her wagon, banging his head against the wagon, was Discord.
"Discord?! I didn't know you were here. I thought you were going to come back when my next performance started. Which is next week by the way." Trixie said.
"Oh really?........Sorry I forgot……." Discord said, apathetically.
Trixie noticed something strange about Discord. His eyes were a lot pinker and a bit swollen like he had been crying. His voice was deeper too, it wasn't the usual high energy voice he had before.
"Uhhh, Discord……..is everything okay?" Trixie asked.
"Yeah……" Discord said.
"Well, you've been banging your head on my wagon." Trixie said.
Discord looked behind himself and saw a small dent in the wagon.
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" Discord said, fixing the dent on the wagon.
"It's okay……hey Discord do you want to come inside and talk for a few minutes?" Trixie asked.
"Uh…sure. Are you sure it's okay?" Discord said.
"Yeah it's okay, I don't mind you coming inside the wagon. Plus, it'll probably help you stop banging your head on the wagon." Trixie said.
"Okay…" Discord said.
Discord followed Trixie inside the wagon. When he got inside, he noticed that the place was filled with stage performance supplies and everything was kind of all over the place. In a weird way, it reminded him of his home back in his dimension.
"Sorry, a lot of ponies say my wagon is a pigsty. And you can see why." Trixie said.
"No, I kind of like it actually……" Discord said, looking around the place.
Discord sat on the hammock in front of him and Trixie would sit next to him.
"So uh, how was the date with Fluttershy today?" Trixie asked.
As soon as Discord heard that question, he felt the pain in his heart again and went back into his depressive state.
"Oh…I'm sorry, did something bad happen on the date?" Trixie asked.
"No…..nothing bad happened on the date because……..we never went on the date…." Discord said.
"Oh, what happened?" Trixie asked.
"Well…………when Fluttershy told me I had to leave because she was having company over, turns out the reason she told me that was because Rainbow Dash already asked her out the day prior…and……..a-and…….."
The tears started to slip from Discord's eyes more and more as he kept talking.
"Hey, hey it's okay Discord. You don't have to tell me everything that happened if you don't want to." Trixie said, putting a hoof on Discord’s back.
"No, no it's okay. I just…..have to get this off my chest…." Discord said, calmly.
"Okay…." Trixie said.
Discord wiped some of the tears that were starting to come out of his eyes. He then continued on talking.
"And after….Fluttershy still went on the date with Rainbow Dash because she didn't want to hurt me or Rainbow Dash. So, after she went on the date with Rainbow Dash she was then going to still go on the date with me and choose who she loved me. Unfortunately, as the date between her and Rainbow Dash continued on….they became closer…..a-and now they're together, s-so…………."
Discord tried everything in his power to hold back the tears that were waiting behind his eyes, but his efforts were futile and the tears came down like a stream on a waterfall.
"Trixie……..I'm so sorry for convincing you to go on that dumb date with me!" Discord said.
"No Discord, you don't have to apologize to me! The date wasn't dumb, I mean I thought it was at first. But, later on I really did think the date was pretty fun!" Trixie said.
"Yeah, but now the practice date is totally worthless!! It's all my fault!! If I hadn't gone on that date with you, I wouldn't have prepared myself for disappointment!!" Discord said.
"NO, it's not your fault!!" Trixie said.
"How do you know?!" Discord asked.
"Because………"
Trixie lifted Discord's chin down, causing them to become face to face with each other.
"It's not your fault. You couldn't have possibly known that Rainbow Dash already asked Fluttershy out." Trixie said, softly.
"I could've used my magic to read her mind." Discord said.
"Yeah, but you didn't have the idea to do that then. Plus, like you said before, being with other ponies has changed you over the years. So even if you had remembered you could've done that, you still wouldn't because you have so much respect for her." Trixie said.
Discord thought about it for a second and then gave a little smile.
"Yeah you're right. Although, I don't have any respect for her brother though." Discord said.
"Yeah, Fluttershy's brother is one of the most annoying ponies to exist in Equestria! But anyways, back to what I was saying, none of this is your fault. Also, the date wasn't completely worthless. We both had fun and I have to admit, that was probably the most memorable time I ever had." Trixie said.
"Even more memorable than your magical acts?" Discord asked.
Trixie thought about it for a few minutes. Was it more memorable than her stage performances? She thought about it until she smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, even more memorable than my stage performances. Which really says a lot." Trixie said.
"Yeah it does! Soooo, are you saying if you could you would do more practice dates?" Discord asked, smirking.
"No! That is absolutely not what I'm saying!!" Trixie said.
Discord started laughing a little bit, getting his voice back to the high energy it was before.
"Ha ha ha, very funny. But in all seriousness, what I meant was I want to hang out with you more. You know, other than the times you're going to have to give me cinnamon nuts and help me with my stage performances." Trixie said.
"About the first one, can the cinnamon nuts that I had Pinkie make for you last night count for at least one month? Because I put a lot more effort into that, than the ponies who just grab peanuts and just sprinkle some cinnamon spice on it. I mean I actually had the nuts with cinnamon filling in it." Discord said.
Trixie rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Fine, but it only makes up for that one month though!" Trixie said.
"Got it! Also…..I have something to tell you…." Discord said.
"Oh….what is it?...." Trixie asked, wondering what Discord was going to say.
Discord grabbed Trixie's hoofs and lifted them up a little. He then didn't know how he was going to do this, but he decided to go for it anyway. He started leaning his face to where Trixie's was. It seemed that Trixie figured out what Discord was doing because she did the same. When their faces were so close that their noses were touching each other's, the two of them closed their eyes and gave each other the most magical and heartwarming kiss ever. When they were done, they pulled away and stared at each other.
"I love you Trixie." Discord said.
"I love you too, Discord." Trixie replied.
They both took a couple of minutes to stare at each other. They probably took too long though because as they kept staring at each other, there was an awkward silence that encompassed them.
"So….are we together now?" Discord asked, breaking the silence.
"Uh yeah?......" Trixie said, confused at the weird question.
"Oh okay, sorry. You didn't say anything so I just wanted to make sure." Discord said, letting go of Trixie’s hoofs.
Trixie sighed and facepalmed.
"Okay now that we're officially a couple now, how about we make a deal?" Discord said.
"Another deal?......" Trixie asked.
"Yeah I know, another deal. But, I promise this will be the last deal." Discord said.
"Whatever you say." Trixie said, rolling her eyes.
"Okay, great! So the deal is that if you let me stay in your wagon on a consistent basis, then I'll let you stay at my house in my dimension if you want to." Discord offered.
"Sure because that's definitely not like a standard procedure creatures have after officially being together." Trixie said, rolling her eyes even more.
"Alright, so as my new marefriend, what would you like to do first?" Discord asked.
"Finish the book I was reading before you banged your head on my wagon and caused the juice box to spill on my book." Trixie said.
"Oh…….sorry about that. I can fix that though!" Discord said.
He then grabbed the book and opened the book to the page where the juice had stained. He proceeded to use his magic to dissipate the stain off the page.
"Here you go!" Discord said, giving the book to Trixie.
"Thank you." Trixie said, flipping to the page she was on.
Discord wrapped his arm around Trixie as she started to finish the last few pages of her book. As Trixie was finishing up the book, Discord remembered an important question he had to ask.
"Did you know that Pinkie is going to throw us a party next week?"
