The Grand Galloping Gala was finally here and there was much going on.

But as soon as the group had arrived there (with transportation being covered by Celestia) Smolder had gotten one look at Spike in his tux and collapsed into a collection of hearts.

"...I can certainly say for my sister, that seeing Spike in that tux was defiantly worth the wait for her." Rarity said. Spike's tux while still very much a tuxedo in every sense of the word, it also had a bit of a knight's look to it.

"So. Much. WOOF!" Smolder said. "I know my sister is good, but dang sis. You really know how to spoil me sometimes." She added.

"Shall we head in then?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah sure." Rainbow Dash said. While her dress wasn't one she could fly in, she had to admit it looked good on her. Suddenly, as she headed in, she ran right into Soarin.

"Ouch! Oh I'm so--wait, Rainbow Dash?" Soarin asked.

"Yeah. It's me. Ow...be careful." Rainbow Dash said.

"Wow. You certainly look really good. Like really good, woof." Soarin said.

"Thanks. So, I'm guessing you managed to slip away." Rainbow Dash said.

"Yep. But just to be safe, we should hang outside. The nobles can easily recognize me and that wouldn't be a good thing. The less I'm seen around them, the better." Soarin said.

"Good call." Rainbow Dash said. The rest of the mares minus Fluttershy went inside. Fluttershy meanwhile went to the gardens to enjoy the animals.

Inside, Rarity decided to see if she could make a few contacts here in Canterlot. Meanwhile Pinkie Pie was just having fun in general with Applejack more or less joining in. As for Twilight though, she was currently waiting on Flash Sentry who soon showed up.

"Woof Twilight, you look really good." Flash Sentry said, he was in a simple tuxedo.

"Th-thanks. My friend Rarity made it for me." Twilight said.

"She does some fine work then, I must say. Though, is that your dragon brother over there? Whose he with?" Flash Sentry asked, motioning towards Spike and Smolder.

"That would be Rarity's adoptive sister Smolder." Twilight said.

"What kind of dress is she wearing? Never seen one like that before." Flash inquired, very curious.

"Smolder calls it a Princess Dress, and she's not afraid to admit she likes wearing them; despite actually having a bit of a rough and tough attitude." Twilight answered.

"Really? That's interesting. So, shall we dance?" Flash Sentry asked.

"S-sure thing." Twilight said, blushing all the while as she danced with Flash Sentry.

The next morning, the entire group was ready to leave with Rainbow Dash and Twilight talking with the stallions they were with in separate locations. But both stallions more or less promised the same thing: That as soon as they were able to, they'd come visit their respective mares in Ponyville.

...But there was one stallion who simply watched from his room in the castle. It was Blueblood. He had a photo on his desk of a gray pegasus mare.

"Aunty, I'll be heading to Ponyville in a couple of days." Blueblood said to his aunt, Princess Celestia.

"...You really wish to find her then?" Celestia asked. "If only I had been able to tell Rarity about what had happened three years ago..." She added.

"I know. It's not her fault or yours. I blame myself for not having the courage to speak up. But I must find the mare I met three years ago." Blueblood said. "To that end, I will search this entire country if I must, but that mare...I will find her. And I will marry her." He concluded.

"Be safe." Celestia said. Blueblood nodded.

My apologies for having to cut this chapter short, but I figured that it was better this way so I would end the current upload bonanza of this story on a high note and not a low. There's still more things to come to this story in the future, but for now, it's time for me to take a break from it and move on to my other projects.
