Sunset Shimmer: Hero of Canterlot City

It was a fine night in Canterlot City, As Solar Eclipse was flying through the city, in the sewers, High Rise and Bit were up to their old tricks again.

"First time I've blown my out of the store," High Rise said.

"Yeah, the biggest score we've ever made," Bit replied. "I'm loving it."

"Even better, that Solar is not down here to cramp our style."

"Didn't know you had any style," Solar said as she had her back to the wall. "Hello, boys."

A few hours later both were sitting behind bars.

"Two bags of cash, and we lost them, I can't believe it!"

"I can't believe it, we lost to that hot head again!"

"Bail's been paid, you're free to go," An officer said while unlocking the cell that surprise both of them.

Once their outside, a chaffer directed them to a limousine, and both got in and saw Tiger Claw

"Hello, boys," Tiger Claw greeted them. "And welcome to the big leagues."

Hours later the limo headed to a broken-down car repair shop once they were inside, Tiger Claw and High Rise got out.

"What about, Bit?" High Rise asked.

"It's a solo job," Tiger Claw as walked into a room. "And Mr.X has his eyes on you."

"Mr.X? As the biggest crime of all Canterlot, Mr. X."

"Yep, you got potential, all you need is a little help."

At Canterlot High, in the courtyard.

"Wait a minute, Duke did what?" Sunset asked Pinkie.

"He tried to dunk paint on me and Flash but it backfire and the paint ended up on Aria instead, she got so mad she punched right in the gut!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"How many times do Duke's pranks backfire on someone else who would be the last person to prank?" Rainbow asked.

"72 times ever since school started," Twilight replied.

"Enough about Duke and let's talk about the upcoming Fall Formal, who got dates to the dance?" Rarity asked.

"You know I going with Flash."

"Cheese Sandwich!"

"Believe it or not, Soarin asked me out."

"Sandalwood," Fluttershy said. "What about you Applejack?"

"Caramel Stick."

"I'm going with Fancy Pants, what about you Sunset?" Rarity asked her.

"I'm not sure if I want to go given what happened last year, even if I did who I can ask?" Sunset implied.

"What talk to the kid, Devon Daniels, I heard he's single too," Rainbow said then the bell rang. "Time for class."

Meanwhile...

"So, Doc, what with the arms," High Rise asked Sassy Saddles as she was strapping him up.

"They allow me to do difficult tasks, reach hard areas, and keep a safe distance," Sassy replied.

"Safe distance? What about me?"

"There are some concerns but you should be okay."

"Okay!?" High Rise exclaimed then Tiger Claw came in.

"High Rise, relax. Produces simple, painless, and totally worth it. Show him."

"Yes, the subject will be infused with silicon armor, that will allow bypass metal detectors, change the form, and size, making it practically impervious to any physical contact," Sassy explains.

"Impervious? Is that a good thing?"

"You bet, it means nothing or no one can hurt, including you know who."

Moments later both were accompanied by Darller Mercer.

"Are we ready to begin?" Darrell asked.

"Of course, Mr. Mercer, sir, just about to press the button," Sassy said then pull the lever.

Hundreds of tiny pieces of sand were infused into High Rise's body which changes his body completely into sand that was dissolved to the ground.

"What have I done?" Sassy watched in horror.

"What's going in there?" Tiger Claw asked.

The sand came together and it had High Rise's face

"What the heck just happen to me?" High Rise asked as his right hand formed a mallet and he swung it.

"Hey, Sandboy, chill."

Moments later Tiger Claw and High Rise were in his limo.

"There go, you got your legs, your normal clothes, and back in color," Tiger Claw replied as High Rise turned back to normal. "See, it's not so bad."

"Not so bad!?" High Rise shrieked.

"Stuff happens, but the result is the same, you got power no one else got, not even Solar Eclipse. Now, you can get even with her for every time she put you behind bars."

"Yeah...revenge is the chumps, who cares about her, I want the big score and now the power to get it."

"Now, listen, you little nobody--"

"Hey, High Rise was a nobody, but everybody will know the name Desert Doom!" He exclaimed as punched the car door and disbodied himself and left.

"You're taking this calmly. I thought X wanted a super-villain to fight Solar."

"X wanted the sun distracted, you don't think that boy won't make a good distraction? You have not been paying attention."

Just as Desert Doom approached the bank, Solar was sitting on a rooftop.

"Fall Formal coming up, and most of the girls have their dates, should I talk to Devon?" Solar asked then heard the bank alarm.

Meanwhile, Desert Doom had sacks of money on him then Solar arrived and faced him.

"High Rise, no offense this kinda getting old, where's your fellow stooge, Bit?"

"Don't need a partner anymore," He exclaimed as his hand became bigger and punched Solar in the face straight to the ground, then kicked her.

"What just-"

"Happened? I happened. Desert Doom happened."

"Now that's just wrong."

Desert Doom's right hand form a hammer and swung it at her but dodged it, Solar did a sweeping kick at him but he grabbed her and slammed her to the wall. Then his whole body formed a fist and straight to her but Solar cartwheeled out to the way. Solar fired multiple flame orbs at him but it did nothing.

"Crap, I need heat and electricity to make glass," Solar grunted then got hammered in the face. "Let me guess, you were on a reality show, changes faces or over-the-top makeovers?"

"Nice huh, Mr. X did this to me, to get to you."

"Mr.X, who's he?"

"Uh, that need's to know only, look cleaning your clock's been fun, but I've banks to rob."

Desert Doom dissolved himself and escaped the sewer vent with the cash he stole.

The next day at Canterlot High.

"Forget the fall formal, once school is out I kicking Desert Doom out of the sandbox." Sunset thoughted to herself then closed her locker then Twilight approached her. "Hi, Twilight."

"Hey, Sunset sorry if I startled you."

"It's cool, I've been meaning to ask, where is Travis?"

"Oh, he's been going to football tryouts."

"Why?"

"Something about making a name for himself, I don't know, have you thought about going to Fall Formal?"

"Maybe, look Twilight, I think about it. okay."

"Okay."

Much Later, Desert Doom had hijacked an armored truck and the police were making chase, as such Solar Eclipse caught up with them and landed on the truck. Desert Doom formed a thorn and tried to stab her but she dodges it.

"Weird, where she'd go?"

"Surprise, dirt boy," Solar came through the sidecar and kick him in the face only to be knocked back.

"Gee, sunshine, if I'm here, who's driving?"

Then the truck crashed right into a construction place and ended up Solar on the other side of the area.

"Thanks, for the assistance," Solar said as the workers help her up then her head flashed. "Uh, you might want to leave now."

Desert Doom encased her then form a blade and was about to strike, Solar grabbed the blade and free herself, then trapped him in a bubble.

"Try getting out of that!" Solar exclaimed and much to her surprise Desert Doom punch it and was free.

"Who do you think I am, High Rise, your tricks won't work on Desert Doom but do sand tricks work on The Solar?"

"This can't be good."

Desert Doom hurled several steel beams at her, making her dodge them all but a couple of beams fall on her

Just outside the police arrived where Solar and Desert are brawling.

"Seal off the area!" Shinning Armor said. "And pray to the lord, that the sun lady can handle it."

Back to fight, Solar emerged from the debris, then Desert Doom was on top of her.

"You know I hadn't planned on coming after you, but planning being the cloud over my sunny sandy beach," He exclaimed as created a hammer. "Time to change the weather, forever."

Just as he was about to strike, Solar hurled a rock pebble to his face, then her Flame Burst that sent him back.

"Alright, Desert Doom, do your worst, better yet, I show you!"

Solar fire magic blasts at him only for him to dodge it.

"Wow, you sure showed me," Then created two hammers.

"Dude the hammer thing is getting old."

Solar dodged his hammer strikes. and his attempts of grabbing her.

"I can do this all night. Can you, sunshine," Desert exclaimed.

"Okay, Sunset, if you can't punch him, then time to dive, literally." Solar thought to herself and made Desert Doom follow near to a mixer to that point Desert did a quick punch to her gut.

"It's over, Solar, when you had the powers, you had beat, but now I reign supreme," HE exclaimed as he created a spike ball and hammer.

"Then allow me, to build a statue to your honor," Solar shot back and then used her magic to turn on the mixer and quick-drying cement was over him causing it to solidify and turn into a statue. "Michelangelo, eat your heart out."

Then the police show seeing what happening.

"We're going to need a crane," Shinning said. "It's going be a long night of paperwork."
