Sunset Shimmer: Hero of Canterlot City

Following her encounter with Desert Doom, Sunset was atop a building.

"So, Mr.X is the person that created Desert Doom and Discharge to kill me, at least that solves the person behind it, but now I got figured out who is Mr.X and why is creating supervillains when I did nothing to them."

Meanwhile on the other side of Canterlot...

"It's not that kind of suit, sir," Sassy told Bit while he was strapped. "You will never be able to remove it."

"But it's tough, right?" Bit asked.

"Yes, but your skin will fuse with the armor," Sassy explained.

"Is it just me or your doctor trying to talk my guy out of it," Tiger Claw cut in. "Look, Bit, you'll be tough, tough enough to bring down you know who."

"Then what waiting for, sign me up." Bit exclaimed then moments later he was covered in slime groaning through the pain.

"I hope this goes well than the last time," Darrell said. "I expect results Ms.Saddles, we can't have any more flukes like Desert Doom. I need super-villains I can mass produce, no matter how thugs we have to go through, even the doctors."

"What with the jungle-tech looked?" Tiger Claw asked seeing Bit in different.

"The animal kingdom holds many useful ideas, the armor is now part of him, The Mexican Bull with the features of high-density plates that can't be melted down by Solar's flames thus making him unstoppable."

"Well, The Good Doctor has its quirks, but this approaches confidence, Mr.X will be pleased."

"What's going on in there?" Bit asked.

"None of your business, kid," Tiger Claw told him.

"Business, right, better get to it," Bit freed himself and then smashed through the wall and headed into the city. "Look out, Ecsiplse, you mess this bull's horns for too long."

Back in the city. a group of thugs made off with a sack of cash.

"Must 2,000 bucks in this thing, score!"

"And Sunshine, too busy stopping big bads to worry about us."

"Ta-da! Same my name I magically appear!" Solar was on top of the car. "Okay, you fasten seatbelts, boys, and you should pull over."

"Fat chance!"

He pulled out a gun and shoot at her but missed. Solar kick him in the face twice while the popped the hood to pry her off but Solar grabbed it and used it as a snowboard.

"Surf's up!" Solar exclaimed then jumped off and on top of the car. "Sorry, boys, no free rides in this town."

Solar fired the engine with her flames which made the car come to a complete stop.

"Take it, away boys!" Solar said to the arriving cops then left.

At Canterlot High School cafeteria...

"Well, it's officially girls," Travis told Rainbow and Sunset. "Not only I'm on the football team, but I'm also going to fall formal with the Jade Queen."

"Congrats, dude!" Rainbow high-fived him. "But, Sunset who are you going with?"

Before Sunset had the chance, Duke butt in.

"No way the bacon-head has a date to the formal!" Duke laughed.

"Knock it off, Dynamite!" Rainbow got in his face. "I bet she has a date to the dance."

"I bet she doesn't, what's the call Dash."

"If she does, you and the entire football team have to be cheerleaders for Halloween, If she doesn't, I wear a full-on dress for Halloween."

"You're on, Crash!" Duke exclaimed as both handshake each other while Sunset facepalmed herself.

Much later at the Canterlot Weekly building, Iron Bull arrived.

"This Sunset lady has pics of Solar, so that means she'll lead me straight to her," Iron Bull grinned a bit as he smashed his way to the very top.

...

"So, Rainbow bet what?" Applejack asked.

"She bet Duke, that I can get a dance, to the formal," Sunset explained.

"What's the verdict?"

"If I do, The football team along with Travis have to dress like cheerleaders, don't Rainbow has to be a princess for Halloween."

"Why am I not surprised?" Applejack replied then the ground started to shake. "Um, do feel that, sugarcube."

"I do, but what do get the feeling, it's not natural," Sunset said as Iron Bull smashed through the door.

"Where is she!?" He asked furiously.

There's my answer. No time to think, time to bring down whatever that thing is? Sunset quickly headed to the closest and change into her costume.

"Hey you, cowgirl!" Iron Bull grabbed Applejack. "Where's Sunset?"

"How should I know?" Applejack tried her best not to tell the truth then Iron Bull slammed her to the ground.

"Do you think I'm stupid?"

"Well, you are dressed stupid," Solar came through the window and fire a magic blast at his face that stunned him, then got Applejack out of the way. "Are you okay, ma'am?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"For your own, safety, get everyone out of here."

"Come on, you heard the superhero, let's move on," Applejack urged everybody to get out leaving Solar and Iron Bull.

"Okay, big guy, what do you want with Sunset?" She asked.

"You, just you, and payback for all times you took me down!" Iron Bull exclaimed.

"Wait a minute, Bit?"

"Not anymore, call me Iron Bull!"

He threw a desk at her making her dodge it, then Solar ran up to him and kick only to bounce off and then proceeded to blast him with fire but it did nothing.

"Now, who's useless!"

"First, High Rise becomes Desert Doom, now Bit is Iron Bull, what will Mr.X do next to turn Duke, into Exploder?" Solar thought while avoiding Iron Bull's attack then punch him in the face. If I can stop him, maybe two feet of concrete will.

Solar headed straight into a room and motioned him then sidestep out of the way and Iron Bull fell straight down and was okay.

"Neat," He said dusting himself off.

"Dang, so much for that idea," Solar exclaimed. "Plan B."

"Hey hornhead, the party's over here!"

Iron Bull rammed through every car that was in his path and chased after Solar.

"You liked being hunted, freak!"

"Says the dude who likes a Mexican bull."

"I may be a freak, but not a coward! The old me never run away scared!"

He approached a fire hydrant smashed it and drank the water.

"Oh, I'm scared all right, scared some innocent people may be caught in the crossfire, need to lure him away from people."

Iron Bull refreshed himself then the closest object and chucked it at her but Solar dodged it.

"Come on, move it or lose it, hippo. Okay, how to find a deserted place in a city of millions of people?

Iron Bull stopped an incoming delivery truck and tore right it.

"Stupid truck, no sunhead creep."

"Ahem, over here."

Iron Bull threw an engine at her forcing her to dodge it then stopped her magic from falling on some people, then Iron Bull tried to ram her with his horns but she jumped up, but not he grabbed her and slammed her on the ground then threw all the way into a sports shop.

"Oh, that's going leave a mark," Solar groaned then Iron Bull caught up and kick her.

"Oh, I'm going to enjoy myself," Iron Bull exclaimed as he prepares to stomp her.

Solar used her magic and caused the weight behind to fall on him then escaped just before he broke free.

"Where did you go!?" Iron Bull panted a bit then grabbed a water tank and drank it to wit Solar was watching.

"Talk about confidence, he refuels himself, then starts smashing me, unless it's not confidence, his suit must be creating extra heat, so he needs cool down, which gives me an idea," Solar smirks then fired a flame orb to get his attention.

"Okay, break's over."

Iron Bull collided right with her, then Solar forced a dumpster to collide with him.

"Overhear horns, let's play follow the leader," Solar jumped into the sewer.

"Think you hide from me down there?" He asked then followed. "Think again."

"Whew, getting a little hot in here, come on you big lug let's go for a run."

Iron Bull chased after her then Solar forced him to go straight into a pipe that released steam on his face.

"What's the matter, mouth a little dry?"

Iron Bull tried to punch her but only to burst out more steam and did it two more times until the entire tunnel.

"You think you got my number, Mr.X said I'm...invincible...and totally unstoppable," Iron Bull said.

"Too true, and nothing can penetrate if you can't perspire, your face is sweating bullets, which is probably enough for most conditions, but in a tunnel full of steam..."

Iron Bull reached for the ladder, but Solar did a flying kick to him.

"Good luck with that," Solar said then used her fire to melt two more pipes steam came out and fill out the entire tunnel forcing Iron Bull to stop himself then Solar kicked him to the ground. "Come one, come all to see the biggest dehydrated turtle."

"I swear on my life, I going to crush the skull of yours, promise X to crush you."

"Are you losing yourself, Bitty?"

"Only mom calls me, Bitty and you're not her!"

"Yes, I think you losing it," Solar remarked.

"Do I have to go to school?"

"So, Bit, tell mommy, who's Mr.X."

"We never used the name Mr. X called him, Xavier Hansen."

Moments later, Solar Eclipse came topside where police had gathered.

"Yeah, you guys are going to need a crane."

Later at the Mercer penthouse.

"I'm impressed, Iron Bull is still underground, and MercerCorp already has the contract to build his cell," Tiger Claw said as Darrell walked down.

"After our success of containing Desert Doom, who else city call?"

"Meaning you get paid to come and go. Good for you."

"Though I love it, but these brawls have caused people to ask questions should put on hold it?"

"We cool it when X gives the word. You don't people to find who created Freak I and Freak II."

"No way they can track it back Mercer or me in general."

"Really, what if they asked Saddles."

Back at the Canterlot Weekly building.

"As anyone has seen Sunset?" Applejack asked.

"Still in here, is it safe to come out," Sunset said in the closet.

"Yeah, it's safe, have been in there the whole time?" Applejack asked.

"Yeah, just stay in there, even if Solar Eclipse got him out of there, how are you holding up."

"I'm good, this ain't the first I get thrown down by something ugly and freaking looking, anyway I need to head back to the farm. See you tomorrow," Applejack said then left.

"Okay, so Mr. X's real name goes by Xavier Hansen, someone has to know about him," Sunset thought to herself. "Hey, Mr.Richard do any info on Hansen who goes by Mr. X?"

"I've heard rumors about him being a crime lord but I check it out, he's one of the good guys, a huge philanthropist. If there was it's not him."

Much Later at the Canterlot Tower.

"I'm here to see, Mr.Hansen," Solar said.

"Then you should make an appointment," Hansen said. "But I'll make an exception for the hero of the day. I'm Xavier Hansen."

"Like I buy it, Your Mr.X."

"I have many names, my personal favorite is Gravestone."

"I'm not in the mood right now, I literally took down Iron Bull, A dude in a suit does not scare me," Solar exclaimed as tried to punch him but Gravestone push her off and quickly subdued her.

"Don't move, just listen. And I teach you the facts of life," Gravestone said the Solar used magic and hurled 8-ball at him only to catch and crushed it. "Whoever Mr.X is, as no beef with heroes, no hero can thwart enough crime to dent his income. But you, you frighten criminals off the street entirely, except when you battle the likes of Iron Bull, then Mr.X's army of profitable criminal thugs goes underneath your notice."

"Let me get this straight, as long I fight crime, you make supervillains who not only want to kill me but make more crime?"

"Not you're getting the picture. But there is an out," Gravestone said then showed her a briefcase full of money. "Work under me, you still be the hero, and nobody will ever know."

"Sorry, buddy I made a vow to never to look the other way," Solar said then left.

"You'll be back very soon," Gravestone said while looking out the view.

Hours later at Sunset's home.

"This reeks, I won all the battles but never came close to winning the war. But Graves made one mistake, now I know there is a war, so bring it on," Sunset got changed for the formal. "For now, it's time to enjoy myself. Knowing good and well that Duke and his crew as cheerleaders, I'll take it."
