New Girl

Wynter put various items into her backpack including a portable game device, a box of snack bars, a bottle of water, her makeup kit, her toothbrush, and some toothpaste. Wynter wanted to bring a suitcase full of clothes but Sunset told her that it would not be necessary for their trip to Equestria. Wynter thought this was odd, but Sunset was the one from Equestria so she trusted her advice.

“There, that should last me a week.” Wynter thought to herself. She had told her parents that she was going away with Sunset and the rest of the Rainbooms on a week-long trip to camp Everfree. Wynter didn’t feel good about lying to her parents, but telling them the truth that she was spending a week in another dimension filled with magical ponies made her sound crazy so she decided to go with the lie.

After Wynter was done stuffing her backpack she put it on and went downstairs to wait for Sunset. As soon as Sunset arrived on her motorcycle Wynter hugged both of her parents goodbye. Wynter then hopped on the back of Sunset’s motorcycle and put on the spare helmet. She wrapped her arms tightly around Sunset’s waist as Sunset took off.

Within minutes Sunset had arrived at Canterlot high. Wynter took off her helmet and gave Sunset a confused look. “Um Sunset, what are we doing at school?”

Sunset removed her helmet and shook her hair from side to side. “Believe it or not, the portal to Equestria is located in the school’s statue. There is a second portal, but that one is located on an island in the middle of the ocean.”

“Yeah, using the statue sounds much easier.” Wynter said. She approached the statue and stood before it. Wynter then turned to face Sunset. “Is there anything else I should know before we step through the portal?”

Sunset smiled and held Wynter’s hand. “Only that there might be some culture shock. But don’t worry, I will be with you the whole time.” Wynter smiled back at Sunset. She then took a deep breath and along with Sunset walked into the portal.

Wynter instantly felt her body begin to spin around like she was on a roller coaster. She tried to focus, but everything around her was blurry. It was like Wynter was in some sort of amusement park tunnel. Wynter finally saw a bright light approaching her. As soon as Wynter passed through the light she fell to the ground.

“Wynter, are you alright?” Sunset said as she rushed over to Wynter’s side. Wynter opened her eyes and looked up at Sunset. She was surprised to see a unicorn looking back at her. The unicorn’s mane and tail were the same color as Sunset’s hair, while the rest of the unicorn’s body was orange with an image of the sun on its butt.

“Sunset is that you?” Wynter asked.

Sunset could not help but giggle. “Yes, this is my true form. I am a unicorn. But I’m not the only one who’s changed. Take a look in the mirror to see what I mean.”

Wynter tried to stand up on her hind legs but for some reason her body could only stand with her hands on the ground. After gaining her balance Wynter looked into the mirror that Sunset had motioned at and she was shocked at what she saw.

Wynter was now a pony. Her blue hair was now a mane and tail, and the rest of her body was as white as snow. Wynter noticed that she had a symbol on her butt much like Sunset, except hers was a blue snowflake. Wynter also noticed something else. Aside from her backpack, she had no clothes on.

Wynter immediately dashed behind the mirror, trying her best to cover herself up with her newfound hooves as she ran. “Wynter, what’s wrong?” Sunset asked.

“I.Am.Naked!” Wynter shouted as she popped her head out from behind the mirror.

Sunset couldn’t help but smile as she rolled her eyes and shook her head. “Wynter, you’re a pony in the land of Equestria. Trust me, the vast majority of the ponies here are naked.”

Wynter slowly emerged from her hiding spot. She could see now why Sunset had told her not to bother bringing a suitcase full of clothes for the trip. “So, is this normal around here?” She asked.

“Yes, it is perfectly normal here in Equestria.” Sunset replied.

Wynter then pointed to the snowflake on her butt. “And what about the markings on our butts? What do they mean?”

“Those are our cutie marks.” Sunset explained. “They symbolize what our talents and names are. Your cutie mark symbolizes your name, Wynter Storm.”

Wynter looked over her new pony body in the mirror. She didn’t have a horn like Sunset, and she didn’t have wings like a pegasus. “I guess I’m what you would call an Earth pony.”

Sunset walked up to Wynter and nuzzled her. “And what a beautiful Earth pony you are. Now come, there are some friends that I want to introduce you to.”

Wynter followed Sunset out of the room that contained the mirror portal. From what Wynter could see, she was apparently in a castle. The stained glass windows along the hallway depicted various events from Equestrian history. Eventually they reached a room that contained a library. Wynter was amazed by the sheer number of books that were on display.

At that moment both Wynter and Sunset heard a high pitched voice. “Sunset you came!” Wynter then saw a tiny creature with purple scales, a green belly, and green spines along its head and back come running up to Sunset. Sunset scooped the creature up in a hug and smiled.

“Wynter, I want you to meet Spike. He’s a dragon and the adopted brother of Princess Twilight Sparkle.”

Spike extended his clawed hand. “It’s very nice to meet you! Sunset has told us all about you in her messages to Twilight.”

Wynter awkwardly shook Spike’s hand with her newfound hoof. “Wow, a real life dragon! I’ve never seen a real one before.”

Sunset set down Spike. “Trust me, there are a lot of mythical creatures that exist here in Equestria.”

At that moment another pony walked into the library. “Sunset! I’m so glad that you made it.” The pony hugged Sunset then turned to face Wynter. “And you must be Wynter Storm. It is a pleasure to meet you.”

Sunset turned to face Wynter. “Where are my manners? Wynter, this is Princess Twilight Sparkle.”

Wynter instantly bowed before Twilight Sparkle. “Forgive me Princess! I have never met royalty before.”

Twilight raised her hoof to her mouth and giggled. “There is no need to bow before me. I may be a Princess, but I’m also just a humble pony who loves to hang out with her friends.”

Wynter felt relieved that she didn’t have to be so formal around Princess Twilight. “So Princess Twilight, are you related to the Twilight Sparkle back in the human world?” Wynter asked.

“Oh no, I am not related to your world’s Twilight.” Princess Twilight explained. “You see, every pony here in Equestria has a human counterpart in your world. The Twilight Sparkle that you know is referred to as Sci-Twi around here.”

Wynter figured that made sense. The Twilight from her world was obsessed with science. “Are there pony versions of Rarity, Fluttershy, AppleJack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie here as well?”

“Yes there are.” Princess Twilight replied. “In fact, I was just about to meet up with them in the royal hall. Why don’t you and Sunset join us?”

“We would be honored to.” Sunset said. Princess Twilight and Spike led the way to the royal hall as Wynter and Sunset followed. Wynter was super curious to see what pony versions of her friends looked liked. Upon entering the royal hall Wynter spotted a large round table with five ponies seated around it. She could instantly tell that these were the pony versions of her friends.

Rarity was a unicorn, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were Pegasi, and AppleJack and Pinkie Pie were Earth ponies like herself. Twilight stepped forward. “Everyone, this is Sunset’s girlfriend from the human world Wynter Storm.”

“With a Y!” Both Wynter and Sunset said in unison.

Pinkie Pie instantly jumped up from her seat and ran over to Wynter, Shaking her hoof wildly. “Oh my gosh, it is so great to meet you!”

Wynter was shaken so wildly by Pinkie Pie’s hoof shake that she became dizzy. “I…I…It’s N…nice t…to meet you too.” Afterwards Sunset helped Wynter to sit down at the table next to AppleJack.

“So sugarcube, what do you do for a living in the human world?” AppleJack asked.

Wynter waited a moment until she was no longer dizzy to answer AppleJack. “Well, at the moment I’m still in high school. But once I finish college I hope to become a teacher.”

“That is an excellent occupation darling.” Rarity said. “I and the others have been working as teachers at Twilight’s school of friendship for the past year.”

Wynter’s newly acquired pony ears perked up. “A school of friendship? I’d love to take a tour of it.”

“Well then, consider it added to our touring list of Equestria.” Sunset said.

“So how did you two meet?” Rainbow Dash asked.

Both Sunset and Wynter smiled and blushed. Wynter spoke first. “It was my first day at Canterlot High. Human Pinkie Pie was showing me around the school when I spotted Sunset across the hall. I was instantly struck by her beauty. It was love at first sight.”

“I actually spoke to you on your first day during lunch.” Sunset said. “You were so nervous to meet me that you were stuttering. You guys should have been there, it was so cute!”

The other ponies at the table all smiled and went aww. “But what you really need to hear is the story of how we kissed for the first time.” Sunset continued. “Wynter claimed that she needed help with her physics homework, and I agreed to tutor her.”

Wynter nudged Sunset playfully in the side. “Hey, I really did need help with my physics homework!”

Sunset smiled and rolled her eyes. “Anyway, we went over to my apartment after having a jam session with The Rainbooms. I helped Wynter with all of her physics problems and that's when it happened. We locked eyes with each other for what felt like an eternity, and then Wynter gently touched my face and we kissed.”

“That is so romantic!” Rarity said. “What happened next?”

Wynter blushed slightly. She didn’t want every pony at the table to know what else happened between herself and Sunset after they kissed.

“Oh Wynter and I just held each other in our arms, and then I took her home and we kissed again.” Sunset replied.

Wynter let out a sigh of relief. She was so glad that Sunset didn’t reveal that they had sex after they kissed. Sunset being able to keep a secret was just one of the many reasons why Wynter loved her so much.

“Well I certainly hope that you enjoy your trip here in Equestria.” Princess Twilight said. “There are many things to see and do. But first it’s tea time.”

After enjoying some tea Wynter and Sunset were led away to their private suite. Wynter walked out onto the balcony and was breath taken by the amazing view of Canterlot.

“Sunset, this place is fantastic!” Wynter said with excitement in her voice. “I can’t wait to get out there and explore.”

Sunset approached Wynter from behind. “Oh there will be plenty of time to explore later. Right now it’s just the two of us in this luxurious suite.” Sunset then kissed Wynter deeply and passionately. When Sunset was done Wynter had a big smile on her face.

“I like the way you think. How about we explore the bed first?” Wynter said as she traced her hoof across Sunset’s chest. Sunset made her way over to the bed, laying down and lighting up her horn.

“Come on over and I will show you some secret Equestrian magic. If you know what I mean.” Sunset said with a wink. Wynter strutted over to the bed and layed down next to Sunset. They both then crawled under the covers, and loud moaning could then be heard coming from the suite.
