My Little Pokémon: Grander World
Pegalysium Falls
Previous ChapterNext ChapterPegalysium. On a Sky Island. Day.
At Pegalysium, a gateway to Universe 11 had opened up, bringing out this massive machine. Shooting Star and everyone backed away at the sight of this machine, seeing it as yet another thing trying to take all the light possible. The legs that it had acted as tentacles of some sort, reaching out to the sides of Pegalysium to latch onto the island. These tentacles would begin absorbing the magic within Pegalysium, starting with the islands that were falling apart.
"No...no..." Shooting Star stuttered upon seeing this machine suck up the energy. "What are you doing?! Stop!" He shouted out at the gateway.
On the other side, Sunrise simply looked down at him, not saying a word. She remained silent, watching this process happen before her very eyes.
With the magic being taken away, the island would already start shaking due to the sudden loss of magic. It caused some of the land to crumble, but not too much as it still held together. "What is happening?!" One of the people asked. "Is it going to fall?!"
Any magical item here would soon shut down in an instant and the same went for the magic that the pegasi themselves had. Many pegasi were now unable to use their wings, becoming heavy like rocks. Some had crashed into the ground from being forced downwards while others kept themselves steady enough so they wouldn't become hurt.
The more Pegalysium lost its magic, the weaker it became. The Giants started to feel weak since their own magic was tied to Pegalysium as well. The same went for Second Wind who was struggling to maintain herself in the air. "W-what is happening...?" She grunted, trying to keep her form. "My magic...?! For this to happen... that means energy is being sucked away from Pegalysium. Daybreaker should've warned me first!"
Shooting Star even felt his own magic leaving his body, causing him to lose balance. His vision got a bit woozy, but he managed to recover his balance. He would hold onto Garnet, preventing her from falling off.
"Pegalysium's magic source is separate from Equestria's since it was once Equestrian-based magic. It's how this nation in the sky was built in the first place. However, because of that, once its magic gets tampered with it will all start falling apart so quickly." Sunrise Sparkle commented, knowing very well why Pegalysium's magic being taken away led to a far more destructive outcome. "All those islands are supported. One would say Pegalysium is more magic-focused than Equestria itself. Now look at it."
Second Wind continued to struggle to keep her form in the air, finding it harder and harder to maintain herself. She would instantly use Rift Magic to maintain herself and keep herself stable. The Grand Queen had to speak with the Solar Empire as soon as possible since all the magic being taken way from here could sabotage her as well. After all, she was once a resident of the original Pegalysium.
The Unown would fly over, using their Hidden Power in one single spot to reach the Solar Empire. Their power allowed them to communicate with those in other universes, which made it easier to reach Sunrise Sparkle and tell her what was going on.
"Sunrise! I should've known it was you!" Second Wind yelled at her once her projection showed up. "You fool! I'm currently on Pegalysium! Call of whatever contraption is sucking away all the magic from here!"
"Then get off the island," Sunrise said coldly. "All forms of energy relate to Light, so no matter what, it must all be gathered for Necrozma. If our approach is getting in the way of your actions, move aside and let us finish."
"Gh! The mouth on this girl...! At least control it to where I and the giants are largely unaffected!"
"I do not take orders from you, Second Wind." Sunrise replied. "It is I who takes orders from Daybreaker. As long as she doesn't have anything to say, I will continue gathering the light energy of Pegalysium until there isn't anymore left."
"Grr...you brat!" Second Wind shouted, growing more and more frustrated. "You think just because you're working under her means I'll back down? Think again!"
"I know that very well. But if I were you, I'd worry about myself. You don't want to fall, after all."
The communication ended right there, causing Second Wind to glare angrily. She knew Sunrise was right, but she refused to admit that. She wanted to show her superiority, even though she was in a bad position.
The more Pegalysium lost its magic, the weaker it became. The Giants started to feel weak since their own magic was tied to Pegalysium as well. The same went for Second Wind who was struggling to maintain herself in the air. Knowing this could all fall apart soon, she decided to empower the giants since they were her greatest weapons at the moment. "Unown! Restore their strength at once!"
Flying over, the Unown would use Hidden Power on the giants to give them a boost in their magical source. They used enough magic to make them regain their strength, but only for a short while. This would keep them active and able to continue fighting.
"Excellent! Now speed up the process! Bring everything down!" Second Wind wanted this finished as soon as possible. The giants complied as they began a powerful march to bring down all the islands in Pegalysium, minus the Sky Monarch Island.
They started with this island, smashing their hooves against it to cause massive tremors and cracks. Second Wind ascended, watching this island come apart before her very eyes. This island would descend, already having suffered a ton of damage from the battle that happened here. It had reached its limit, eventually dropping from the sky.
And with this island gone, the giants would move on to the other sky islands, continuing Second Wind's path of destruction, absorbing any light source in the process.
Shooting Star and the others watched helplessly as Pegalysium continued to fall apart before them. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, unable to do anything about it. The ground beneath them shook every time another piece of land fell.
This felt like a nightmare come true for him.
More and more of the giants would bring down the islands which also had their magic sucked out of them. Pegalysium, and everything that had been built up by it was being ripped away by these two destructive forces. The massive tentacles moved across the grounds of each Sky Island, latching onto the next and draining the magic it had to offer.
"Hm." Sunrise Sparkle could see how Shooting Star could still stand compared to everyone else, having the capability to maintain himself. This was all thanks to his massive pool of magic. "That's to be expected from a Destiny Pegasus. The amount of magic he has i just that great. All the more reason why he'll be great fuel for Necrozma as well. All forces, move through and capture Prince Shooting Star!"
With that order, some ponies from the Solar Empire would emerge from the gateway in great numbers. Since they weren't tied to Pegalysium in any way, they could easily be here without worrying about their magic being drained from them.
The second they arrived, their spears would be seen with a bright magical light that would extend, much like a tendril. These light tendrils would wrap around the prince, forcing him into their grasp. "Agh!" He grunted, feeling himself being pulled back to Universe 11. "Let go!"
"Shooting Star!" Garnet shouted, trying to run over to him.
"Prince Shooting Star!" All the other pegai screamed his name. But no one here had the strength to move. Not with their magic being so drained. Garnet groaned, doing her absolute best to get up and take flight, even if she was lacking in strength.
However, she was immediately stopped by one of the soldiers who pointed a spear at her face. She would stumble back, knowing there was no way to stop them. Shooting Star's hooves would drag across the ground as he was being taken away, leaving a trail behind him.
He knew what was going to happen next. He looked back to see the ponies pulling him through the gateway and to the other universe. Seeing the light coming closer to him, he would soon feel the magic of Pegalysium disappear completely from his body. As he felt it fade away, he began to lose consciousness, falling into darkness.
That is until a beam of ice rained down the tendrils, freezing them. The tendrils would stop in their tracks, their light temporarily halted. Garnet looked up at the source of this ice beam, wondering who was responsible for it. There was only one answer.
"Sno! Snorunt!" The answer was Snorunt. The same Snorunt Shooting Star befriended months ago. And with him was the entire Snorut Family, especially the Mother Froslass, who was carrying all of her children.
"Is that...Snorunt?" Garnet groaned, recognizing this family. "How did they get out of the Rift Spheres? Shouldn't they be trapped too?"
"Fros! Froslass!" Froslass cried out at the Solar Empire troops for trying to disturb the peace. But they wouldn't have come here without some guidance. And that guidance came from none other than Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. They've been spending all this time saving as many Sky Animals, Ponies and Pokemon as possible.
"Nothing a little Fairy Magic can't handle~" Pinkie Pie grinned, revealing the way they broke out of the Rift Spheres.
"Sno!" Snorunt would fall out of his mother's grasp, immediately running over to his best friend. "Runt! Snorunt!" Seeing this, one of the Solar Empire Troops attempted to fire at Snorunt with his spear, charging up a beam of light.
"Raboot! Use High Jump Kick!" Seeing this, Fluttershy prompted Raboot to take action.
"Ra! Raboot leapt off the ground at high speeds, approaching the Solar Empire Soldier and delivering a powerful kick that sent him flying away, knocking him unconscious. The kick would hit him into the other soldiers, especially the ones grabbing onto Shooting Star, causing them to stumble back and release him.
This allowed Garnet to catch him, preventing him from falling over. She looked down at her prince, seeing he had fallen unconscious. She was still weak but at least had the strength to move a bit. The same can't be said for Shooting Star. Sunrise Sparkle had a rather neutral expression to seeing this interference. It didn't bother her at all that much.
This island was already coming apart thanks to this machine's actions, making it unstable to stay on. The clouds that supported it were already beginning to disperse into nothing.
"They won't be able to make it off in time. There are too many of them. But..." Fluttershy had a solution to this, digging into her saddlebag and whipping out a Poke Ball. By throwing it, she would summon her Bayleef.
"Bayleef!"
"Bayleef! I need you to save everyone here!" Fluttershy pleaded, counting on Bayleef's Fate-Changing Abilitiy.
"Bay!" The Grass-Type knew what had to be done. And she had to be quick about it. With her eyes closed, Bayleef would have a huge chunk of the leaf on her head come off, right as the island was reaching its limit. The leaf flew over, touching the tail of a pony once and that was all that was needed. A bright flash would envelop them all, changing their fate.
The island would come apart, every piece of it falling out of the sky. As the light subsided, everyone's fate had been changed to where they had gotten off the island in time, ending up on another Sky Island nearby. They were safe for now, but things were still dire.
Bayleef grunted with a chunk of her leaf gone, but she could at least expect the Sun to heal her eventually and restore the leaf back to normal. In the distance, they saw the machine hover in the air, moving its tentacles over to the next island, continuing its mission.
"Our home..." A filly said with a weakened body, viewing the tentacles latch onto another island. Fluttershy would hold the little filly close to her for comfort.
Just then, the sound of the giants and the thunderous hoofsteps were heard in the distance, damaging the beauty and wonder of Pegalysium. So many buildings fell, breaking apart and losing everything about them. These structures were once so beautiful to behold, but now they were just mere shells of what they once were.
The entire nation was nothing more than debris that would fall from the sky like meteors. And soon enough, this nation would be nothing more than space rocks. The sound of the giants getting closer was very much prominent, putting them all at risk. Pinkie Pie turned her head, seeing a giant hoof in the distance, indicating the giants were getting near.
However, they would never see Pinkie Pie's group for one major reason.
In the distance, a certain red and pinkish light would erupt behind one of the giants. A rather familiar one to the eyes of Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. This red light, the particle around it, the sound it made and the fact that it was changing the colour of the skies and clouds meant only one thing.
Dynamax.
Or in this case, Gigantamax. Growing to massive proportions and undertaking a slight change was none other than Ash's Gengar, who had entered his Giganatax Form.
"GENGAR!" Gengar bellowed as soon as he emerged in this form. The size of Gengar matched that of the giants, but more importantly, on top of Gengar's head was Ash with his arms crossed.
"Ash!" Fluttershy and Pinkie exclaimed with glee.
"Ash Ketchum...!" Second Wind could spot him from a distance, snarling at him. She didn't expect him to be in possession of such a power. She didn't even know what Dynamax was, so to see Ash have such a massive Pokemon with him caught her off guard. "How?!"
"That's as far as it all goes." Ash said. Even though his voice couldn't be heard by anyone in the distance, he would continue speaking. "I kow it's not the giant's fault. But Gengar and I are gonna stop this before it gets way worse."
"It's all you, darling!" Rarity waved her hooves at him from below. She, Applejack and Ash had just defeated some of Second Wind's Troops as they laid there unconscious and woozy.
"We're gonna finish it in one move! Gengar! Max Hailstorm!"
"GEN...!" Gengar's eyes would flash a beautiful yet chilling blue energy, summoning a gigantic ball of ice above his head. His whole body would turn blue, making his face appear as if it was trapped inside a mirror. That same blue energy would emerge from his mouth as he took a deep breath, absorbing the particles around him. Once he had enough, Gengar would send the giant ball of ice up into the air, causing it to grow bigger and bigger and bigger until it grew beyond the size of a sky island itself.
Second Wind watched with awe as this giant ball of ice formed over Pegalysium, wondering what would come next. "H-He wouldn't!"
But he would. Much like how a Flying-Type is vulnerable to ice, these giant Pegasi are no different. Gengar was about to freeze them all as that massive chunk of ice would then split into multiple large chunks of ice that would rain down on the giants and the islands. Each piece of ice was large enough to be the size of a meteorite or comet.
The impact of these giant pieces of ice would hit the ground, sending shockwaves across each Sky Island, instantly freezing them solid. It was a beautiful sight to behold; a massive rain of ice coming down upon the area. A snowstorm began to form once the pieces of ice rained down.
As the last bit of ice landed, a cloud of frost would sweep through the place, freezing anything and everything that was touched by it. This included all the soldiers of the Solar Empire who were sent out here. They immediately fell over, frozen stiff. The only ones spared from this blizzard were the Snorut Family since they were naturally immune being Ice-Types after all.
The entire area was covered in a blanket of snow, but it wasn't the kind you'd want to play in. Not when your enemies lay dormant beneath the snowy surface. The giants tried resisting, only to have their bodies frozen. It started from either their hooves or their wings, spreading to the rest of their bodies. Soon enough, they were nothing more than icy statues that stood there.
"No...! My giants!" Second Wind growled, unable to believe what she saw. Those giants were her best form of defense. And now they were all rendered useless, frozen stiff.
"Nice! Now's your chance, Twilight!" Ash pointed to the sky, prompting Twilight to take flight. After all, this was Twilight's plan and all she needed was a golden opportunity to build up her magic enough to free the giants from Second Wind's control.
The Princess of Friendship ascended, spreading her wings as her horn was glistening like a star in the night sky.
"Stop!" Second Wind called out to her, trying to prevent her from doing so. But she was too late. Twilight Sparkle had already begun.
In an instant, a bright aura of energy would emit around her body, much like Daybreaker's. She had built up enough energy to unleash something new. With her eyes closed, she let herself flow freely and naturally. Her mane flowed with great speed, even though there was no wind blowing.
"Let it out, Twilight!" Ash encouraged her. A sparkling flare erupted from her horn, reaching the sky and becoming brighter and bigger as it rose higher and higher. This caused her magic to manifest itself as a rainbow that spread across the skies, raining down and landing on the giants.
The magic would touch them, causing them to be covered by the glow of the rainbow. Slowly, the ice on their bodies would begin to thaw off. "Gh...!" Second Wind could feel their minds slipping away from her grasp, causing her to growl at this outcome. "Unown!"
Relying on her Unown, she ordered them to approach Twilight Sparkle, who was still in her trance. The letters flew over, ready to strike the princess. However, Ash, who was quick to spot this, would point at the Unown, having Gengar stop them. "Gengar! Max Starfall!"
"GAR!" Once again, Gengar's face would clap his hands together, summoning massive stars from the skies themselves as they rained down like meteors. This rain of stars hit the Unown, instantly knocking them out once they were touched by a single star. They couldn't fight against Gengar's strong attack, falling unconscious.
With the Unown defeated, Twilight Sparkle had now succeeded in freeing the Pegasi Giants from Second Wind's control, leaving her all alone without any power.
The ice on their bodies had finally melted, returning them back to normal. The first thing they noticed was where they were. This was not their natural land. The giants grunted, feeling their heads ache a bit since they've just awoken.
"What...what is this place?" One of the giants asked.
"I'm...not sure." Another giant replied.
"Where did all these buildings go? Why are we surrounded by ice and snow?"
"Wait...what happened to our wings?!"
"Our...wings?!" The giants began to panic, worried about their missing wings. Their wings were completely gone, leaving them unable to fly or soar through the skies.
"Now I remember...It was one night and a pegasus from that other Pegalysium showed up. She took us by surprise but the rest is foggy..."
"Curse it all...!" This looked bad for Second Wind. The giants were far too powerful for her to lose and now she has lost them. Not only that, but some were starting to remember that she was the one who attacked them that fateful night, putting them under her control. The Grand Queen panicked, searching for any remaining Unown.
A majority of them had fainted thanks to Gengar's Max Starfall as only two of them were around Second Wind at the moment. Two Hidden Powers from them would not do much at all, but it was better than nothing. The Unown would use Hidden Power on her, concealing Second Wind's body.
"You...You're that boy we've seen in the distance at times." One of the giants actually recognized Ash, mainly from when they would gaze at him and his friends from far away in their land.
"Sorry about all the ice. I couldn't think of any other way to slow you guys down." Ash chuckled a bit, scratching his hair. "But at least we can talk things out now."
"The islands!" One of the giants noticed how the many Sky Islands were falling. Of course, this was the cause of the giants themselves, but they were unaware of it. All they knew was that these beautiful islands were coming apart due to an unknown force.
"It's not too late to catch them all." Ash said to them. This was their chance to rectify what they had caused. They could stop some of the islands from crashing, but they wouldn't be able to place them back on the clouds now that the magic has been taken away. And yet, they had to try. However, with a lack of wings, they couldn't do so.
"Without our wings...we can't save them."
"How come your wings dissappeared? I've never seen that happen before." said Ash.
"We developed differently from regular pegasi. Our old wings were transformed by the magic here, growing to match our new size. With all of the magic gone, we might as well be like Earth Ponies."
"Hmrrrm." Applejack frowned at this.
"N-No offence, of course."
"No need to worry. We've got another solution to this!" But Ash always saw another chance at saving the islands. "He suddenly took off his Dynamax Band, ending the Gigantamax early. Gengar's body would glow as he started reverting to his original form and size.
"Rarity, catch" Ash would then throw his Dynamax Band at Rarity, passing it over. The unicorn caught it with her magic, knowing what was coming next. "It's up to you, Rarity! One of your Leavanny is gonna have to catch it!"
"I understand clearly, Ash!" Rarity was on the same page. As she slipped the Dynamax Band on, she would then throw out a Poke Ball, summoning one of her many Leavanny.
"Leavanny!" Instantly, her body would return into the Poke Ball as the Dynamaax Energy would erupt once more. A massive surge of red energy erupted from the ball as it grew bigger and bigger until it was twice the size of a usual Pokeball.
Rarity knew just what to do as she picked it up, getting ready to toss it at the Sky Island that was going down. With a quick spin and a flick of the hoof, Rarity would send the Poke Ball flying across the skies towards the island that was in danger of crashing. "Leavanny! Dynamax!"
The Poke Ball flew through the air, spinning rapidly as it made its way closer to the island. Out of it, Dynamax Leavanny had arrived. "LEAVANNY!"
"Your Strings! Use your Strings, Leavanny!"
"LEA!" Since she couldn't use String Shot as a Dynamaxed Pokemon, she had to use her natural string instead. From her arms, two massive lines of string would fly out, hitting the top of the island and keeping it from falling any further. Once the strings made contact with the bottom, they would wrap around the island, binding it completely.
And Leavanny's strength didn't disappoint. Her powerful grip kept the strings in place, allowing the giant Leavanny to carry the island like a balloon. Leavanny would look to the others who were watching with awe, showing them that it was safe to board the island.
Of course, there was the issue of keeping them afloat but Ash Ketchum already knew the solution to that problem. "Even if Leavanny's able to bring them back up, without their magic, they just can't stay up. All those clouds were made up of magic too and now they're gone. But..."
"If I can get clouds away from Pegalysium, I can make those clouds hold up the islands." Rainbow Dash finished his sentence, already knowing what Ash was going to say. "That'll do!"
"You'd have to be faster than you've ever been for that Rainbow Dash!" Rarity saw that as an incredibly tall task, even for Rainbow Dash and her speed. Leavanny might not be able to hold them up forever!"
"It's fine. As long as Leavanny doesn't use a move as a Dynamaxed Pokemon, she'll have time to stay in this form." Ash went up to Rarity. "That'll give Rainbow enough time to get as many clouds as she can.
"Mhm. Besides. You're forgetting one thing. I'm part of the Wonderbolts, so I'm not gonna be alone." She grinned before taking flight. Off she went to gather clouds away from Pegalysium and mainly around Equestria's vicinity. The magic there was separate after all.
Rainbow Dash would descend, moving as fast as she could, passing by many of Pegalysium's clouds. She saw how the clouds were dissappearing, losing all the magic they had to offer. She left a rainbow trail behind due to her speed, attempting to reach Equestria as soon as possible. By herself, she could not pull this off, so she needed all the help that she could get. Rainbow Dash would throw one of her Poke Balls out, summoning her Braviary for assistance.
"Braviary!"
"We've got work to do. If I grab a cloud from here and bring it back, it should work! We've just gotta do it before Leavanny's arms give out. Getting a bunch of them will take some time, but for now, let's focus on making a super huge one to keep it all up for a bit while we get the rest!""
"Brav!" Braviary would give Rainbow Dash a salute as he followed her up in the air. They both moved with speed, taking the clouds away from the now fallen Pegalysium. Once they returned with a cloud, they would attempt to bring it to the Sky Island.
They both moved at a similar speed, attempting to leave the boundaries of Pegalysium. However, standing in their way were the Sky Serpents. Multiple of them, all coming from the Sea Cloud.
"Aw, not you guys! We don't have time for you!" Rainbow Dash grit her teeth, annoyed that of all times they decided to show up, it was now. She believed she would have to battle these Sky Serpents in order to continue with this plan. Hopefully, it wouldn't take too long. However, when looking at them a bit longer, Rainbow Dash noticed that the Sky Serpents were attacking or showing signs of hostility.
In fact, some of them looked like they were fizzling, slowly fading away. Since the magic of Pegalysium was being ripped away, the Sky Serpents were starting to disappear. Their bodies were made up of clouds after all, so this wasn't a surprise.
"You're fading away..." Rainbow Dash uttered. "Are you...actually here to help us out?"
The Sky Serpents hissed in response. They didn't want to disappear at all. Compared to the many Sky Animals in Pegalysium, the fact that their bodies were made up of clouds made them far more vulnerable. Rainbow Dash wasn't seeing them as roadblocks anymore. She now saw them as creatures that wanted to live, but also to help in their survival.
"Alright. I got it. You all can help us out! It'll be faster for all of us if we're all grabbing the same cloud together."
They nodded to Rainbow Dash's proposal as they started their journey to save Pegalysium. Snorunt's body was becoming less visible as the cloud started to disappear, fading into nothing. With no time to waste, the Snorunt would take to the skies with Rainbow Dash and Braviary, leaving behind the other Sky Serpents who weren't as close to disappearing as they were.
Together, they flew around, gathering the same clouds to carry the Sky Island with the strings of the Dynamaxed Leavanny. She was doing a good job of holding it in the air, but she wouldn't last long if there wasn't a solution.
The Sky Serpents moved their heads as quickly as they could to grab the same cloud, going so fast that a large rainbow trail formed behind them. With their bodies becoming fainter and fainter, they had to act fast if they were going to make this plan work.
Rainbow Dash and Braviary flew beside them, keeping their pace in order to gather the same cloud. Rainbow Dash was moving so fast, she was about to reach the point where she could make a Sonic Rainboom which would give her a greater boost in speed.
They had the giant cloud in their sights as they made one final sprint. Once it was in reach, they grabbed a piece of it, holding onto the massive cloud. Once all the Sky Serpents held onto one, they flew off at a very fast pace, attempting to keep this giant cloud intact as they did. They moved across the land, trying their best to keep the giant cloud steady in the air.
This massive cloud would be pushed upwards to the bottom of the islands that Leavanny was keeping up. They would place the giant cloud in position, letting it land at the bottom, letting Leavanny drop the string as it connected with the cloud.
Leavanny would sit down, her arms aching as the islands stayed stable. Since these were Equestrian Clouds, they could stay afloat in the air like a natural island.
"Yes! It worked!" Rainbow Dash pumped her hooves at this successful plan. "Now we need some more clouds and we'll be good!"
"Vi! Vi! Braviay!"
However, even though they had succeeded, the Sky Serpents were still fading away. Their bodies were reaching their limit, their visibility dropping rapidly. All that strength they had was used to gather this massive cloud and now it was truly being spent. However, refusing to let them perish, Rainbow Dash and Braviary would push them towards the Equestrian Clouds.
They would place each Sky Serpent down onto the cloud as they stopped fading. In an instant, the Sky Serpents' bodies returned back to normal, no longer becoming transparent. To their surprise, their bodies had been rejuvenated. Not with Pegalysium magic, but with Equestrian Magic. The Equestrian Clouds would bring them back to full strength as they stood there, fully healed from fading away.
They hissed to Rainbow Dash in gratitude as Rainbow Dash returned it with a grin and a salute. With the help of the Sky Serpents, they would descend to Equestria, off to get away more for the other islands.
As for the massive machine that was draining the magic away, its tentacles continued moving until it finally reached the area where Ash and his friends were. Leavanny would try and stop this large tentacle, using Max Overgrowth. Giant seeds would be unleashed out of thin air, flying at the tentacles, only to be sucked right into its center. The tentacle didn't budge one bit.
"If we stop those tentacles, we'll at least stop any remaining magic from Pegalysium from being taken away!" Ash said, holding onto his hat. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Gengar, use Dazzling Gleam!"
"Sceptile! Frenzy Plant!"
"Leavanny! Max-"
"Wait, Rarity! You can't have her use another move, or her Dynamax will run out way faster!" Twilight stopped her as Pikachu, Gengar and Sceptile had already unleashed their attacks on the tentacles.
"R-Right! Then in that case..." If she couldn't have her Dynamax Leavanny do it, she could always rely on the remaining 11 Leavanny and her other Pokemon such as Ampharos to stop it. 12 Poke Balls were thrown into the air with her magic.
"All of you! Stop those tentacles!" Rarity commanded her Pokemon. "String Shot!"
"Leaaavannnnyyy!" 11 of Leavanny had all used String Shot, shooting out an array of thick white threads of string from their arms. The tentacles had attempted to absorb it, only for the amount of strings that were shot at it to overwhelm the tentacles.
"Ampharos! Zap Cannon!"
"Ampha...Ros!" Ampaharos, along with Pikachu, would target this machine's technological aspect with electricity as a large ball of electricity was thrown at them. Surely, electricity would mess with it the most.
And indeed, these attacks would shake the tentacles, damaging some of them in the process. But this would not go unnoticed by the forces in Universe 11, especially Sunrise Sparkle.
The screens showed damage being done to the machine's tentacles as they would zoom in on these same tentacles. Searching for the source. There, Sunrise Sparkle saw Ash's group, taking action against the machine's tentacles.
"There." Sunrise pointed at the screen with her hoof. "That group is undeniably the most dangerous to our plans. They've gotten in our way multiple times, but this time, they won't get further than this."
"Shall we engage with them or move elsewhere?" A pony asked.
"Engage with them. Right now, her Majesty is heading to Kalos while having all those Legendary Pokemon pursue her. Let's get these problems off her chest before she ever has to deal with them. Send Applejack's Invading force through at once."
Johto. The Diamond Domain.
The Diamond Domain. Located in the Johto Region, it is a beautiful, underground domain where many Carbink live in peace with Diance serving as their ruler. And it was yet another place that Daybreaker had once attacked when trying to get Necrozma all the light that he could. At this very moment, while they were all living in peace, Diancie could sense the incoming danger. A danger that was approaching the Diamond Domain.
She and the Carbinks would hear loud whirring as the cave's walls started to shake. This was the first sign of trouble as they began to wonder what was going on. As the stomps got louder, they could see a massive force of Pokemon charging their way, ready to invade the Diamond Domain.
It was none other than the Solar Sword. Which meant that Daybreaker had arrived.
"That symbol...!" Diancie immediately recognized Daybreaker's Cutie Mark on the ship. "It's her again!"
Daybreaker was back to take the light from the Diamond Domain once more. Specifically, from the Heart Diamond. Diancie gasped in fear at the sight of the Solar Empire, having already witnessed the damage it had caused once before. And now that this was Daybreaker's big attack, what will come next could easily outdo what was done in the past.
As the journey continues.
