The Human World.

It was late at night here in the Human World. All its residents were away from the chaos happening in the Main Universe. And at this moment, the CMC and Diamond Tiara were searching Silver Spoon and Cozy Glow. They were the only ones not present in Pyrestar's Universe for safety, taking a huge risk which made their families worry about them.

"Silver Spoon! Cozy Glow! Where are you?!" Apple Bloom screamed their names, moving through the town.

"It's way past nighttime by now. If we don't find them by then..." Scootaloo said with worry.

"They still won't pick up any of their calls." Sweetie Belle looked at the Xtransceiver. "Maybe something bad really did happen to them. You don't think the Solar Empire showed up in this world?!"

"No way. It's way too quiet and peaceful for that." Scootaloo shook her head, not believing for a moment that the Solar Empire took them. "I hope not."

"I wish we had a Pokemon that could track down their scents..." Diamond Tiara muttered, her lip quivering out of worry for her best friend. As they kept walking, searching the town this late at night, a sound caught their attention. They noticed that it was coming from up north, prompting them to investigate. Any chance of them finding Silver Spoon and Cozy Glow had to be taken.

The sound had a mystical hum to it, coming from down the street. They passed by the homes in this area, coming across what appeared to be the fence of a backyard.

"Uh, I don't know how I feel about breaking and entering..." Sweetie Belle spoke when looking at the tall fence.

"Who cares?!" Diamond Tiara certainly didn't. Immediately, she started climbing the fence and the other girls followed her. They struggled to climb over it, but when they got to the top, they found the source of the sound.

On the other side was a beautiful lake, the moon's reflection shining brilliantly across the water. What they were seeing was a magnificent scene. In front of the lake, an array of Fairy Magic could be seen sparkling and glimmering, making the night look even more gorgeous. It took them aback with its wonder, but there was still no sign of Silver Spoon or Cozy Glow.

"Wow...Pretty..." Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle couldn't help but comment.

"It is, isn't it...?" Scootaloo uttered. But caring less for this beauty was Diaond Tiara.

"Geez...You girls aren't taking this seriously!" She yelled at them, pulling at Scootaloo's shirt collar. "They're both missing so this isn't the time to start being impressed!"

"Waaagh!" Scootaloo cried out as Diamond Tiara shook her. "S-Sorry!"

"What's all that noise?" It didn't take long for someone to notice them. But it wasn't someone who lived in this house. Appearing here in this backyard, opening the fence door was none other than one of the individuals they were looking for.

Cozy Glow.

"There you are, Cozy!"Sweetie Belle shouted and Apple Bloom approached her. "Oh, I thought this would take all night!"

"Where were you?! We thought you were kidnapped or something!" Apple Bloom added.

"What? K-Kidnapped? You think the Solar Empire would kidnap little old me?" Cozy Glow was rather surprised by the suggestion.

"Well, yeah. Since everyone's fighting against the Solar Empire back and we didn't see you guys anywhere, we thought the worst happened." Scootaloo stated.

"But now we're glad to know that you're okay."

"Yeah. I'm perfectly fine." Cozy nodded.

"What about Silver Spoon? Is she alright too?" Sweetie Belle asked. Cozy Glow then pointed at her own chin, thinking for a moment. Obviously, she knew where she was, but didn't want to sabotage her own plan.

"Mmm...You might want to try that shopping mall. The two of us went into the city earlier today and we ended up lost. By the time we realized, the sun had set. She should be somewhere around there."

"Shopping Mall! Got it!" Diamond Tiara made a beeline for it right away, wasting no time. The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasped once they saw her dash off, promptly running after her. Cozy Glow would turn to face the girls, deciding to follow them as well. More fuel for Necrozma after all. With a devious grin on her face, she would follow the girls to their next destination.

Johto. High in the Skies. Day.

High in the skies of the Johto Region, the team attack Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres pulled off rippled across the azure skies. It was a devastating blow as the Solar Sword received a huge shock, engulfed by a bright light. The Legendary Birds looked at the vast explosion they caused, waiting or the outcome. They had to see if they had done considerable damage to the Solar Sword to potentially bring its downfall.

But as the light and explosion faded away, the Solar Sword could be seen floating up high. Although the attack dealt a great amount of damage, this gargantuan ship was still very much active and able to continue going, surprising the Legendary Birds.

Daybreaker opened her eyes, having a scowl on her face that soon turned into a smile. "Nice try~" She hummed. "Although powerful, you'll need a lot more to stop us."

The Legendary Birds cried out at Daybreaker, not intimidating her in the slightest.

"Your efforts will only delay the inevitable. And now, the light will soon come to an end. For good. Prepare yourselves, for you'll become the last sources of energy we'll ever need."

As the Solar Empire's ships regained themselves, the hatch would open for Daybreaker as she would fly out of her ship, deciding to confront the Legendary Birds outside. Her body radiated with a bright orange light, her magic manifesting within her.

"Go on ahead. Leave this to me. Continue to outer space" Daybreaker told her fleet with her Royal Canterlot Voice, flying away from them and towards the Legendary Birds.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

With Daybreaker gone, the Solar Fleet would continue its path, leaving the birds behind. But this didn't discourage the birds. In fact, their focus shifted over to her. They wouldn't let her escape their sights, preparing themselves to take her down.

"Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres. So, you three came." Daybreaker's tone was calm, yet serious, a smile on her face. "That's perfect. Just what I expected. It makes it easier for you three to be extra fuel. Isn't that right, Necrozma?" Right in front of her, Necrozma's Poke Ball would be launched by her magic, summoning the Prism Pokemon out.

After absorbing the energy from Diancie and the Diamond Heart recently, Necrozma's was more powerful than ever, his energy pulsating like a firestorm. It just made him eager to feast on more sources of light, and the Legendary Birds would make a perfect appetizer.

"I'll make this quick. I have a Lunala to capture after all. Necorzma. Prismatic Lasers!"

Gathering all that stupendous energy within, Necrozma started building up his attack, the sound of the lasers gradually increasing in power as they were being concentrated into a single point. Quickly, the Legendary Birds attempted to stop Necrozma before that could happen. Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower would fly out of their mouths, aiming to hit Necrozma and possibly stop his attack.

But their attacks wouldn't even make it close to him. A force field of light blocked their attacks, protecting Necrozma from them. "Hmph." Daybreaker smiled, seeing their futile attempts.

The Legendary Birds would try again, unleashing another round of attacks, this time using the same types. Still, the lasers would continue charging, not faltering or slowing down in the slightest.

Necrozma then unleashed an abundance of powerful lasers, each having the same power as the one the Heart Diamond and Diancie could output. The lights would fly straight at the Legendary Birds, causing the birds to disperse, flying up and all over the place.

In the sky, the Legendary Birds were trying their best to avoid the lasers which would continuously fly out, some even homing in on them. They were constantly flying in a zig-zag motion, avoiding the laser beams that would get fired at them.

The skies were lit with a prismatic display. It was a show of colors and shapes, of lights and shadows. Necrozma continued firing his lasers, aiming at the Legendary Birds. They tried to dodge, but it was hard when the lasers seemed to be everywhere.

Articuno flew, narrowly missing a laser. Zapdos dodged, narrowly missing another.

Then, Moltres was hit, crying out as the beam pierced through his flaming wing, disrupting his balance. He fell, struggling to recover and regain his composure. After being hit, Moltres would be bombarded with a barrage of lasers, rapidly striking him.

Upon seeing this, Zapdos cried, swooping down. Articuno did the same, the two attempting to help Moltres. They used Thunder and Blizzard to intercept the incoming lasers that went for Moltres.

Moltres quickly recovered, flying upward, joining the others. Together, the trio would unleash a flurry of their attacks. A massive blast of fire, a storm of lightning, and a flurry of ice, combining to form a swirling, spinning vortex of power.

Necrozma and Daybreaker observed their attacks. Necrozma upped the ante of the number of lasers, seemingly having a lot to offer due to how much energy he's taken. He was never able to release this many for this long. Not at his full strength, not at his normal state. Now, with all the light inside him, the amount of lasers he could output was endless.

Daybreaker watched, observing their struggle. She could tell that their attacks were growing weaker due to all of this pressure. Eventually, they could run out of energy, becoming easy prey. But Daybreaker wanted that to happen as soon as possible, so as soon as they turned their attention back to the lasers, attempting to dodge and stop them, Zapdos was suddenly snuck by a flaming beam to the chest, staggering him with tremendous damage.

Articuno and Moltres had their beaks open in astonishment after seeing this devastating hit and the one responsible for it being more ships of Daybreaker.

Specifically, the ships that Spitfire's fleet had. Since they were already in the Johto Region, hiding in secrecy, they finally revealed themselves and took action. Their ships unleashed a coordinated attack on Zapdos, catching it off guard.

"I never said I would play fair." Daybreaker smirked when seeing her ships arrive. "I'm not that into the usual Pokemon Battles after all." After landing that powerful attack on Zapdos, all the lasers homed in one the Legendary Birds, forcing them to defend themselves, but it would only make their defenses weak and eventually, all the Legendary Birds were blasted by a barrage of lasers.

All their screams and cries would reach the heavens, the explosions of the lasers were heard. But these weren't just cries of pain, they were also cries to someone else. These cries transcended their vicinity, reaching all the way down.

Specifically to another Legendary Trio. Suicune, Raiku and Entei. Those cries were a signal to the tree of them informing them that they had to attack now at this very moment. The Legendary Dogs would howl, using their most powerful moves in unison now that they've got this signal.

Entei would use Eruption, sending a powerful burst of flames upwards with the ferocity of a volcano. Raikou would use Thunder, also sending its attack upwards and Suicune followed suit, using Blizzard, blasting a fierce ice and snowstorm above.

Their combined attacks would create a huge, fiery tornado, twisting and spiraling with immense speed and force. The winds whipped, the air howled, and the heat rose. The fiery tornado would twist, changing direction, and it would head towards the battlefield in the sky, elevating at high speeds.

It would reach the Legendary Birds, surrounding them. The Legendary Birds found their wings bound, unable to move, and their bodies covered in the scorching heat. The Legendary Dogs' attack wasn't meant to hurt the Legendary Birds, but instead, it was a way to bind them, to give them a chance.

They couldn't keep fighting like this.

Necrozma would be surprised, turning his attention to the source. This gave the Legendary Birds the opportunity to counterattack, sending a flurry of powerful attacks at him, including the combination of their three-pronged attack, the Thunder Sky Attack.

The attack was a success, knocking the Prism Pokemon back with a brilliant outburst, even reaching Daybreaker. The Solar Queen squinted her eyes, putting up a barrier for herself. The force of the ack shook her barrier, pushing her back a bit. Daybreaker kept herself safe within her barrier even though she was launched back, the barrier crashing into a nearby mountain along with Necrozma.

Once she hit the island, the Legendary Dogs started running to the mountain in the distance, making sure they could get there in time. They had no way of entering the skies so this was their best shot at this.

Swiftly they moved across the land, dashing, sprinting, and racing as fast as they could, reaching the mountains and climbing. From there, the Legendary Birds were free, flying once again but noticeably damaged thanks to Necrozma's Prismatic Lasers.

They would spread their wings as wide as they could with all of their current strength, flying faster than they ever did. And once the sun finally shone upon their wings, their eyes glistened.

The sunlight.

It was exactly what they needed. With the sun shining upon their bodies, their feathers began to sparkle. Light would dance across their wings and their feathers. Feeling the drive to succeed, the Legendary Birds would unleash their respective beams once more. At the same time, the Legendary Dogs would do the same, releasing their signature moves, Eruption, Thunder, and Blizzard.

Necrozma would cry, his body being battered with these strong, powerful attacks. He was overwhelmed by them, his mind almost blank. He couldn't even see his own surroundings or anything. His vision was blurry, everything was a mess.

Even the Legendary Birds were still dealing with the aftermath of the Prismatic Lasers, their bodies exhausted. Still, the Sunlight had given them a second wind, the ability to push forward.

But not enough.

They needed a boost. Something greater. But that would never come as Daybreaker would fly out of the crater formed into the mountain, casting a grand spell. Her horn would flash, directing the spell at Necrozma, and then at the Legendary Birds. The beam slipped through all those attacks, landing on Necrozma.

As it would touch his body, a powerful surge would enter his prismatic system, making his heart skip a beat. The Prism Pokemon would growl, feeling his energy and power replenish, recovering faster than it should have. Daybreaker was sharing some of her own magic with him and her magic was naturally massive considering who she was.

Once he received that boost, Necrozma would let out a shattering roar, outstretching his arms and unleashing a blinding burst of energy, an explosion of light. This would throw the Legendary Birds and the Legendary Dogs off their feet, the explosion catching them all off guard. Every single one of them would be engulfed by the light explosion, whether in the sky or in the mountains. The mountain itself would be blown away, its peak exploding and crumbling.

All those in Johto would see this outburst from afar, seeing the explosion of light. It would be a terrifying sight, the explosion being massive. It was a good thing this was happening in an area that's desolate, with no sign of civilization anywhere, not a city or a town.

When the dust cleared, everyone was lying flat on the ground, defeated and wounded. The Legendary Birds had been the first to fall. All three were scattered, fallen atop the land. Articuno was the closest to the ocean, its wings and body beaten and smoking, a few feathers falling from it.

Zapdos was a bit further away, lying against the side of a cliff, its beak open and gasping for breath. It could barely lift its head, and when it did, its vision was blurry and unfocused.

Moltres was the farthest, its wings scorched, its flame extinguished. Its entire body was blackened, smoke rising from its feathers.

On the other hand, the Legendary Dogs were also defeated. Entei's face was covered in dirt and debris, its paws unable to move. Raikou was the most injured of the group, its body charred and its mane burned, the fur singed. Suicune was the only one conscious, its vision blurry, its ears ringing.

Necrozma was the last one standing, his body pulsating with energy. Even after performing that Tremendous attack, he still had so much energy within him as he looked down at the two Legendary Trios. After being defeated, the ships of Spitfire's fleet would descend.

"Your Majesty." Spitfire emerged from the hatch, adressing Daybreaker who would descend upon her with Necrozma. "We've successfully crippled a few areas in secrecy for Necrozma to absorb light from. We also came as soon as possible when seeing this battle in the distance."

"Excellent work, Spitfire. All of you. I'm just about done here, but I'll need you to capture these six. First, Necrozma will feed on their energy and then you will contain them. And after that, have your ships put up a mass barrier in the sky, so that no one else can pursue us into outer space."

"Yes, your majesty."

And with that, the battle ended. Daybreaker would command Necrozma to absorb all their energy. The Prism Pokemon wasted no time, his claws grabbing ahold of the downed Articuno and the rest of the Legendary Birds, beginning his feast. All six of them would soon have their energies taken away from them, becoming yet another feast for Necrozma.

The Legendary Birds would slowly become smaller and weaker, their feathers falling and their bodies turning paler. Their light was being sucked away, the essence of their lifeforce being extracted, their bodies trembling.

After the extraction was complete, the Legendary Birds would remain still, their eyes closed. Yet another Legendary Pokemon has had their energy taken away from them. This time, six of them in total and that just elevated Necrozma strength even more.

"Glad you're enjoying yourself, Necrozma. Now, let's hurry to outer space and catch up with the Solar Sword. Next stop, Lunala."

Outer Space.

The Solar Sword had already entered outer space. It was a successful voyage without any interferences or disturbances, giving the Solar Empire an edge. Now, Daybreaker was ready to go after Lunala, the Moon's Protector. She knew that it was likely that Lunala would come after her, wanting her power. Speaking of Daybreaker, her and Necrozma were ascending at high speeds, moving at their absolute best, the Solar Queen riding her faithful steed.

They were going after the Solar Sword, and the rest of the ships were trailing behind, keeping a moderate distance between each other. They would follow their Empress' lead, making sure no one fell behind.

They had their radars at the ready to try and track down Lunala, but there was another alternative. Attacking the Moon. They did it before, prompting Lunala to get involved since she couldn't allow such a crime and even if she knew that they would try it again, the Solar Empire also knew that Lunala wouldn't sit by and let the moon suffer damage.

So, their plan was to use that strategy. Attack the Moon, and then wait. Lunala would most likely appear to defend the Moon. And since this was not their universe, they could care less about the Moon being greatly damaged or even destroyed. The many ships and the Solar Sword began their weapons, setting up the best blast that they could muster. Ponies moved around, interacting with interfaces and commands, aiming their blasters and cannons at the Moon.

This time, they were going to deal even greater damage than before. Instead of just ramming the Solar Sword into the Moon, they would use the Solar Sword's other powerful weapons. At the very front of the sword were the ship's main cannons, capable of firing out a powerful laser that could pierce through several layers of the Earth's atmosphere, and this time, they would focus it on the Moon.

All weapons were at the ready, fixated on the ball of light that casts its shine down on the world. The light within each of these cannons would start materializing and forming, charging up and concentrating.

"She has to respond to this. Or face untold consequences!" Daybreaker grinned. "Fire!"

And on her command, all the cannons fired their lasers at the Moon. These large beams would rush straight towards the moon, a multitude of lights. Some were blue, some were green, some were red. Each laser was different. The Moon wouldn't know what was coming. However, as soon as it got a bit too close, something stopped the beams midway, creating a ripple in between the Moon and the many ships.

All the ponies onboard gasped, looking onward at the force that stopped these attacks. It wasn't one force, but rather, two of them. The two individuals up ahead came into frame, revealing themselves.

With both arms out, it was none other than Mewtwo and Newtwo.

"Hm!" The two of them grunted, using their combined power to deflect the beams, causing them to fly elsewhere. The beams would then combust in the sky, setting off a solar flash across the starry skies.

"Hoh?" Daybreaker wasn't too surprised since Legendary Pokemon were now pursuing her. But Mewtwo wasn't a Pokemon she thought would show up. And neither did his friend, Newtwo. Seeing two Mewtwos was quite the sight. Daybreaker would descend on top of her Solar Sword, using her Royal Canterlot Voice to speak to the two of them from a distance. "Well, I wasn't expecting you of all Pokemon to show up. At least not so soon."

"You. Are you the one they call Daybreaker?" Mewtwo spoke to her telepathically, the two staring at each other.

"No doubt it's her." Newtwo would to the same. "The one threatening to absorb all light in the universe."

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance. I've heard a bit about you two. Not that much, but still." Daybreaker bowed her head, putting on a smirk. "I was expecting Lunala or even Deoxys to show up and stop the attack. Not you two. Well, I'm not really complaining."

"We've felt what you've done to the world. You are the one who attacked the Moon a month or so back. You are the one that shook the world and threw a majority of it out of balance. And now, you've recently attacked Pokemon, using them as fuel for Necrozma's hunger." Mewtwo narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, yes. That was all me. Not a bad list of feats, wouldn't you agree? Of course, not everything can go perfectly according to plan, but I still manage to fix that and make some compromises."

"We've been observing for a while now. For the most part, we've stayed out of sight from others but we have seen so many Pokemon suffer because of what you've done." Newtwo replied, her tone carrying some anger. "And once you made that announcement to Equestria, we knew that we had to find you as soon as possible."

"Doing this all for Necrozma, to bring him back to full strength. I would call it noble, but everything you've done is truly despicable." Mewtwo scoffed.

"Hm. So, you'll be up next, I suppose? Taking Lunala and Deoxys's place? I can wait until they show up. After all, the of you are just another means to an end. More fuel for Necrozma at the end of the day. So unless you want to make it out here with energy intact, kindly step aside."

Mewtwo and Newtwo found themselves involved. It was only natural they do. After all, such a goal targets all life in the universe, including theirs and the life of the Pokemon they wish to protect. And by extension, even some of the humans and ponies that they have formed a bond with.

Truly, the Legendary Pokemon of many regions were coming together just to stop Daybreaker's plan. And though some have failed to stop her, at best slowing her down, they would not cease, making sure that all light in the universe is kept safe and sound.

But going against all of that was another Legendary Pokemon. Necrozma. And now, the Devoureror of Light stands before two Pokemon that were once made to be the strongest Pokemon that could possibly exist.

As the journey continues.
