Kanto. Pallet Town. Ketchum Household. Nightfall.

In the quiet town of Pallet Town, at this late hour, Delia was busy finishing up for the night, cleaning everything here. Mimey chied in, sweeping with her on this peaceful night. That is until someone went through those doors. And once she turned around, her pupils dilated, her jaw dropped, her heart skipped a beat and the broom fell out of her hand.

There was a brief light that appeared and the silhouette standing there looked very familiar. She saw the face of the man present as it looked like the man she loved and married. Mr Ketchum himself.

"Dear!" In her eyes, she saw her husband, finally returning after all these years. The man she loves was seemingly here at last aside from Galaxy Master.

"Hey, Mom." But in reality, it was just Ash as he stepped forward, revealing his true self.

"O-oh...Ash." Delia sighed before smiling. She got her hopes up, but alas, it was not her husband. "Ah! You're older now! First, a child and now this!"

"Yeah. I aged up but way too much this time." The Alola Champion chuckled.

"Well, you look just like your father. Oh, I feel so nostalgic just looking at you." Delia walked up to him, patting her son on the back. "If he were here to see you now, he'd be beyond proud."

"Thanks, mom." Ash smiled before yawning. "Tomorrow...I'm gonna have my body changed back to how it was so...goodnight. Plus, I gotta get ready for Camp Everfree. I promise Twilight I'd help her out with it."

"I'm not sure your bed is large enough for you right now." Delia pointed out. Ash in this current state was far oto big for his bed.

"No need to worry...I'll make it work." He grumbled while rubbing his eye, walking upstairs to clock out. Despite how old he looked, he was still his young self, acting the same as always. Delia had to wonder if that would be the case even if he aged normally. Either way, she would still love it.

Equestria. Unilight Palace.

Sparkle hovered over to her fellow Pixies that were sitting in a circle inside an open room of the palace, admiring how shiny and clean it looked at night. They looked at each other and conversed silently before looking at Sparkle who landed in front of them.

"How did it go?" One Pixie asked.

"There is a chance I believe that Her Majesty's wish may not come true." She bluntly answered with no care or hesitation. "It's that reincarnation of Prisma. Her love for him is getting in the way. She refuses to use SpellVerse at all because of her feelings for him. Honestly, she needs to get those under control."

"Love?" Another Pixie asked with an annoyed look as she began laughing quietly. "What a waste of time. Who would love someone who is literally her own worst enemy? It's pure nonsense and is just simply ridiculous to think about."

"I agree." The third Pixie muttered while eyeing Sparkle carefully. "But, we have a chance to fix that, don't we? The age she's currently at its closer to what our Queen truly looks like."

"Oh, yes. I lied about there being a puzzle to solve just to bring them back to their original age. And it wouldn't take a week either." Sparkle remarked with a giggle. "It'll just be a ploy to keep her in a room until we've promptly dealt with one of Prisma's reincarnation. I say we capture him until we've fulfilled her Majesty's wish. By keeping one of his counterparts contained, we diminish the possibility of Prisma returning.

"Woooh! That sounds like a lot of fun!" The second Pixie cheered as she flew up into the air, having the most fun of them all.

"They do make a great pair though..." The third Pixie uttered under her breath as Sparkle focused on her for a moment but said nothing more. Instead, she opted to watch the sky and the stars shine in the darkening night sky, thinking about the fate of that boy named Ash.

She didn't know what he would do next and she certainly didn't know how powerful he could be as an adult. She saw nothing but pure strength and power emanating from him earlier. She believed that if they weren't careful, he could get stronger than even Twilight Luminaria, herself and her fellow pixies would need to fight against him if he truly went out of control.

"Now then, we should prepare." The first Pixie proclaimed as Sparkle focused on her and the other two as they nodded in unison.

"Of course. We're on a mission from our Queen after all." She would say as they would begin their plans for the near future. "Let's capture him while he's currently asleep."

Kanto. Pallet Town. Ketchum Household.

In the Ketchum Household, Ash was sleeping peacefully in his bed while snoring quietly with Pikachu sitting on the bedside table nearby with its eyes closed while sleeping soundly too. All was peaceful here, but unbeknownst to him, someone had snuck in. It was the Pixies, and due to their small sizes, they could easily slip inside through the keyhole. The room was completely dark with the only source of light coming from the outside due to the windows being closed shut with curtains blocking out the rays of sunshine from entering the bedroom.

Once inside, they floated silently towards the boy, their glittering bodies being above him as they looked down at him silently. The first pixie gestured for her partners to use magic to ahold of the boy while staying as quiet as possible so as not to wake him up just yet. However, unknown to them, something else was watching them from deep within.

Aside from Prisma's soul which was currently laying dormant, undisturbed, the shadow of King Sombra was in Ash. And with his eyes opening, he sensed the Pixies who were quietly using their magic. As if something had awakened within him, King Sombra lurked within his body to confront these new threats that were appearing before him and possibly taking him away.

His shadow suddenly emerged, startling the Pixies as they backed away, seeing a darkness arise from his body. They tried to attack it but King Sombra disappeared before they could even do anything. Then, a voice spoke to them, giving them a warning and a chance to leave.

"Deceiving fool." It was a cold and deadly voice that made the Pixies fly back in shock and fear. Sombra looked down at them with a sharp gaze from within the darkness of his form.

"W-Who are you?!" Sparkle stuttered. But before she and the others could say anything, Sombra's shadows would wrap around their tiny bodies, completely enveloping them and beginning to squeeze them tightly with no remorse or mercy in sight. The girls cried out in pain as they struggled to break free from Sombra's grasp, but they could not escape no matter how hard they tried.

"Mngh..." Ash grumbled, turning his head to one side before settling down once more while Pikachu began muttering and waving his arms around, probably having a great drea. Sombra raised an eyebrow at the sight of this but continued to hold onto the Pixies tightly, making it so that they couldn't move an inch without feeling extreme pain from being crushed by his powers.

"You'll be kept here until morning." Sombra told them sternly as they stopped moving and stared at him with wide eyes filled with both fear and shock. Unable to break free, they were to be kept here until Ash wakes up, much to their chagrin.

Equestria. Unilight Palace.

But while they were being kept there, this entire time, the young Celestia and the Cutie Mark Crusaders stuck around the palace, their curiosity peaked as they wanted to learn more about this place. Not knowing the true history of it and believing this was all some fun experience, Celestia and the Crusaders snuck into one of the rooms. They were curious as to what else the palace held in store for them.

"No way...It's bigger and fancier than my castle..." Celestia gawked.

"This place is so cool! I wish we can live here!" Applebloom squealed excitedly as she bounced on her hooves joyously while staring at all the fancy things that were around her. Celestia looked around for a while before shaking her head and turning her attention back towards the other young ones who seemed just as excited as she was at this very moment in time. "Look at all this stuff! Look at all the treasures!"

She pointed over to some expensive artifacts that were laid out neatly in front of her, making Celestia raise an eyebrow before leaning closer towards them closely until she came to a realization. She quickly reared back away from them with wide eyes, shocked by what she had seen and heard just now. "Those are p-priceless! W-What are they doing here?!"

Applebloom glanced at her for a brief moment before focusing on the various objects again without saying a single word towards Celestia who continued to stare at them incredulously before shaking her head once more and returning to her current task of finding a way out of this palace and going back home with her friends so that she could continue enjoying herself for the rest of the day. "I don't know if we should be doing this."

"Come on! We're not gonna take anything!" Scootaloo proclaimed as she flew upwards towards one of the walls while hovering there for a couple seconds before coming back down to where she originally started, landing perfectly on the floor without hurting herself at all. "We just wanna see what's inside this place."

Sweetie Belle followed suit and began bouncing around energetically, feeling invigorated by her surroundings which made Celestia's mouth drop open slightly at this sight before looking over at her companions with uncertainty in her eyes. "Um...I think we should go back now..."

"Why? It's fine!" Sweetie Belle replied cheerfully. "This place is full of neat things to explore! We can stay here for a while longer if you want."

"Actually, it's late..." Celestia looked away sadly as she finished speaking. "The sun's gone down already! We need to be getting home soon before anyone realizes we've gone missing! I mean, my entire nation will panic if I'm gone for too long. My fans need me!"

"We already have!" Suddenly, appearing in this castle after looking for their sisters were Applejack and Rarity. They could be seen standing in the entryway, arms crossed in front of them, frowning deeply while looking directly at Applebloom who flinched when she saw them looming over her small frame. By drinking the magic from the new fountain, they returned to their original ages.

"That's enough messing around, ya'll." Applejack would pick her sister up immediately while glaring directly at the others. "Ya'll know better than to stay here without permission. This place isn't yours."

"Aw! Just a bit longer! Please?" Applebloom begged but her older sister shook her head disapprovingly before turning her attention towards Rarity who was looking at Sweetie Belle sternly.

"No, no. You have Pokemon School, young lady." Rarity would carry Sweetie Belle with her magic and towards the exit of the building as she went with her sister and the others left the premises so that they could get back to where they belonged without causing any trouble for themselves.

"Awwww~" The little pony whined as she was carried away by her sister. Scootaloo shrugged, deciding to get some shut-eye too.

"Wait!" That is until Celestia halted them all, her gaze fixated on something. "What about this...?" She was focused on what appeared to be a special door with strange inscriptions written on it. Strange runes that neither her friends nor the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders could understand what it meant exactly but something about it felt rather mystical. However, by using her magic Celestia would translate the words that were said there.

And the words on it read 'Records of Prisma's Lives'

"Records of Prisma's Lives..." Celestia read it as this fully caught the attention of Rarity and Applejack. They too knew how big of a deal Prisma was and preventing his return was important.

"This is Prisma-related?" Rarity walked up to the door, completely changing her trajectory. "What's this about his Life? Plural?"

"Like a cat or something?" Applejack joked as she moved closer as well. "I really ain't got the time to read this."

"I wonder..." Celestia would lightly push against the door, revealing that it was unlocked which surprised her greatly. She would turn around slowly, giving a smile towards her friends who returned it instantly before stepping back away from the entranceway slowly before gesturing towards them to come forward once more towards the mysterious doorway leading into another mysterious room where secrets hid

"I don't know about this..." Rarity grimaced as she stared at the door for several seconds longer before taking a step forward tentatively towards where she assumed was nothing but danger and possible doom awaiting her on the other side of this unknown door.

But instead of danger, the room that befell them looked to an empty white room with only one thing sitting there. Some kind of module with a purple colouring to it.

"Hm. That's it? Applejack commented, expecting more than this as she sighed loudly while turning around quickly while shaking her head dramatically, making sure that everyone else saw how unimpressed she really was by what she saw just now before speaking up again, "Kinda boring."

"Yeah, but what's this supposed to be?" Sweetie Belle asked as the four little girls peered their heads over the module and started to poke and prod at it curiously while wondering what they should do next before seeing a reaction come from it. The four of them gasped as the module let out a magical light that would instantly move across the entire room for a brief moment, revealing everything before disappearing as quickly as it came into existence

All of them had their eyes widened as the empty white room began changing completely into what appeared to be outer space filled with stars everywhere. It felt like they were actually in space as the gravity in this room would change for a moment as they all fell to the floor, gasping as they struggled to adjust to their surroundings but eventually adjusting before getting up again slowly while watching carefully as something finally began happening before their very eyes. An entity formed before them. A large projection of a certain pony manifesting.

Twilight Luminaria.

Her wings spread out with absolute grace as she stood there silently for a short amount of time before speaking once more in a strong and clear voice that resonated throughout the entire room. It made it seem like she was speaking directly towards all four of them. "Hello to anyone watching this Magical Recording."

Her tone wasn't menacing or threatening in the slightest, which eased the tension slightly among them. "I am Twilight Luminaria. You are currently viewing the Records of Prisma and 88 Billion of his Lives."

"Woah...That's so many!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed, looking amazed at that fact as she stared up at the image of Twilight Luminaria before glancing over at Rarity and Applejack briefly before looking back towards her sister with wide eyes while asking, "H-How can he live that many lives?!"

"That's way more than a cat..." Applejack's jaw dropped.

"This room and the recording is meant to be a view into Prisma's past lives before us. I am making this out of worry for him and to give a better insight into who he was. This is all I know as of recently, so it may be updated." As she continued, the area began to change once more, losing its cosmic appearance for something more simplistic in nature as images flashed throughout the entire space while Twilight Luminaria continued speaking.

Everyone's view would rapidly accelerate as they would be graced with the lives of Prisma. Or more specifically, the very first life that he ever lived as everything flashed for them. As they closed their eyes, they soon opened them to find that they were in a new location.

Their hooves were touching the floor once more. Or in this case, the ground as they found themselves in what appeared to be a small town. Applejack blinked multiple times while looking around before finally understanding exactly what it was that she was looking at exactly, "W-Where are we?"

"This town...it looks a lot like Pallet Town." Rarity recognized the appearance of this town. It had a strikingly strong resemblance to Pallet Town but with some slight differences. It seemed more primitive in nature than anything else but still retained its familiar atmosphere which made sense considering it was the town where Prisma had lived at once upon a time in his very first life.

"It does...but it's different..." Applejack noticed while continuing to stare at everything intently for a few seconds longer. She and the others turned their head to the very familiar house in front of them. The house looked a lot like Ash's home. In fact, it was the exact same design and everything, being a perfect look-a-like.

And out of that emerged a young boy, appearing as a 10-year-old. That 10 Year Old Boy was none other than Prisma.

"That's Prisma?" Applejack was shocked to see just how small and adorable Prisma looked in this first life. Granted, she doesn't even know what he actually looks like as an adult.

"Haha! Look at how cute he is!" Celestia chuckled happily. The other girls squeed at Prisma, finding him adorable as the voice of Twilight Luminaria spoke, echoing through the area.

"From what I have learned, Prisma was born and raised in Pallet Town where he lived with his mother. When he was 10, he was given the opportunity to start his own Pokemon Journey in his world. This is where his story truly begins."

Right next to Prisma appeared a Pikachu, appearing to be his very first Pokemon. The two of them had such bright smiles on their faces as they looked at each other with great confidence, ready to take on whatever challenges may arise before them. It reminded the group of Ash and Pikachu very strongly.

"For his first life, things went rather well. He got out there into the world and experienced a plethora of things while making many friends along the way. One would call his journey bountiful and memorable." They were then shown his memories which showed him interacting with many people across the world. There were multiple projections all around them, showing individual interactions that were insanely abudant. So abundant that the group couldn't even see where it ends.

Just like Ash, he had met a gigantic amount of people, trainers and various Pokemon. More than anyone could imagine. It was like Ash's memories on an insanely larger scale, able to retain more memories than anyone could fathom.

"Even during his first life, he was a prodigy and soon became recognized as the World's Strongest Trainer. All seemed fine...until it appeared." The mood changed as the sky above would change colours, gaining a mix of red and black as all the pleasant memories of him faded away. As they all looked up, they saw an unknown entity of red and black appear.

It had a shape that was impossible to describe, parts of it swirling around while other parts were pulsating and howling aggressively into the skies above like they were screeching out something incomprehensible to them.

The sound that came out of it was horrifying as it echoed throughout the entire world. It was as though this being had dominion over everything that existed within this realm, which is why its voice sounded so powerful and intense. It made the entire ground shake beneath them while sending shivers down their spines at the mere thought of it speaking so loudly.

"An unknown entity of unknown origin descended upon the world. Before even arriving to Earth, it had already consumed entire planets, stars and galaxies. It ravaged through the universe before finally making its way to Earth, attempting to consume it as well. Prisma was there to confront this entity that was soon titled the Star Tyrant."

Everyone gasped as the memory changed once more, bringing them to an incredibly large battle that would take place between Prisma and this entity that Twilight called the Star Tyrant. The battle against this entity was fierce as Prisma threw everything at the wall against him. He had all of his Pokemon chime in as it took place on the peak of a mountain that went above the clouds themselves.

"Prisma succeeded in defeating the Star Tyrant, but there was a massive cost. Seemingly from its defeat, the entire universe was destroyed. Everything went to white as all things in that universe ceased to be. But that was not the end of it. It was the start of an endless cycle." They saw nothing but blank white as everything would suddenly reset.

They saw how Prisma looked so confused. He gasped, feeling his heart skip a beat as he looked at his hands. Prisma was lost. He was sure that everything around him had been destroyed, but he was surprised to see that everything was still in one piece.

"What? How?" He looked around frantically, wondering what exactly it was that happened to him or where he ended up exactly. He had no idea why he was standing right here on the same mountain peak as before when moments prior, he could remember nothing but darkness surrounding him as the last thing that came into contact with his mind was pure whiteness taking over his entire vision.

"The Universe was reset and a new universe came into existence, with Prisma retaining his memories. But apparently, no one else retained their memories whatsoever. All of Prisma's friends he made and all of his accomplishments meant nothing as everyone started anew in a new universe."

A confused Prisma tried reuniting with his friends, which he succeeded at, much to his glee. A smile returned to his face as he befriended them once more. But it was still odd to him. In Prisma's eyes, he believed that was the end of the Star Tyrant and he would not have to worry about it ever again.

He had to relive his entire life once more in this 2nd Universe, going down the same path but with a strong recollection, albeit with some differences here and there. But that was when it happened once more.

The Star Tyrant returned, resurrecting from what appeared to be nothingness.

"The Star Tyrant somehow returned to devour the Earth once more, much to Prisma's horror. He didn't understand it and even I don't to this day. The Earth was in peril once more, but Prisma would once again try and stop the entity for good. This time, he was joined by his friends in doing so."

A new memory played out, showing Prisma fighting the Star Tyrant alongside his friends in an epic battle that would make even the heavens quake in terror. It was a hard-fought battle, but his friends managed to overcome the Star Tyrant. And yet, by defeating it, it happened again.

"Prisma saw it happen again. For a second time, the Star Tyrant's defeat signalled the end of the universe as he saw his friends all vanish before his very eyes."

"Prisma!" One person called out, reaching out her hand to Prisma, but the boy couldn't catch it in time before everything disappeared into nothingness. He clenched his teeth tightly together as he gritted them angrily while looking up towards the sky above with a mix of anger and sadness flowing through him.

And as he watched everyone he knew and love vanish, he too would disappear, along with that entire universe that was vanishing before him. The same universe he tried so hard to protect and keep alive despite knowing that it wouldn't last forever because of how insignificant everything is.

And after that came a new reset where Prisma started over. His heart raced yet again as he was now in his third Universe. And it was at that moment where Prisma realized what was truly happening.

"Each time Prisma defeated the Star Tyrant, everything would vanish and reset. That is what he figured out on his second encounter with it. And now in this 3rd universe, Prisma acted differently. He never gave up hope and decided to prepare for the Star Tyrant. He wanted to ensure that he and his friends would be ready when the time came for it to make its next move."

Prisma started his Pokemon journey once again, this time with a determined look in his eyes as he went about it. He would both experience his journey while also preparing for the Star Tyrant.

And like last time, the Star Tyrant returned while Prisma was now prepared for it. He confronted the Star Tyrant alongside his friends. Even with them all standing together in battle against this entity, it proved too strong for them to handle. It was the same thing that happened last time when they fought back against the entity. The universe vanished into nothingness just like before and Prisma was transported into yet another Universe to repeat it all over again.

This happened over and over again countless times after that. The Star Tyrant would always return after being defeated, seemingly undying and unstoppable. Prisma tried so many new ideas and approaches against it but nothing seemed to work against the entity that would always rise up after being defeated just so it could wipe out the entire universe again without any remorse whatsoever.

"Many, many lives went by. Prisma would see universes come and go constantly and he just couldn't understand it. I am not sure when, but eventually, during one of his many lives, he began seeing his friends less and less. Not that they weren't there, but he apparently started distancing himself from them, refusing to see them perish any more."

A memory showed a downtrodden Prisma walking alone as a young girl tried talking to him with a friendly smile, only to get ignored as Prisma didn't even bother turning around to greet her or pay her any attention whatsoever. His head was lowered as he came to a halt. A lot went through Prisma's head at this moment.

What was he doing wrong? He was capable of defeating the Star Tyrant but it all seemed for naught since everything would return to how it was. Nothing would progress. Nothing would change. Why was that? "I'm doing everything I can, so why is it still the same?" He asked himself these questions repeatedly until the Star Tyrant would reappear before him once more.

Each time he would be forced to confront this entity and defeat it. And each time, everything would reset without any warning whatsoever. The entire world was wiped clean with everyone getting back to where they were before Prisma even began his journey.

"He lived a thousand lives, remaining the strongest in each of them. That thousand soon became a million and a million lives turned into many more lives. At some point, he grew jaded of everything."

As he did that, he didn't interact with people anymore, avoiding them entirely as he simply fought against the Star Tyrant whenever it showed up and wiped his progress once more, like how a child might do if they became too frustrated after losing at something repeatedly. It became nothing but a cycle of failure after failure after failure.

"At some point, the universe reset enough times to reach exactly 88.8 Billion times. That was when I came into existence due to all the changes done to this one universe. I interacted with Prisma quite a lot when I first met him, but, you are not here to hear about that. Instead, what truly matters is what happened in this one universe. This was the universe where it all changed. Instead of having to take on the Star Tyrant one more time, Prisma decided one on thing."

It was a World Championship match. Prisma had just defeated the last opponent of this massive tournament, retaining his title as the World's Strongest Trainer with his faithful Pikachu at his side while everyone around him cheered loudly for them both while congratulating. But then, he said something truly terrifying.

"Enough of this cheering!" He bellowed, his voice silencing everyone's cheers with an overpowering volume that startled all those present at that moment as he let out a furious roar filled with anger before continuing on with what he wanted to say next. "I can't keep doing this anymore... I'm sick of this!"

Everyone remained silent while staring directly at him while he glared right back at them in return without saying a single word himself either. They've also never heard him sound so aggressive before in their life.

"Time and time again, I go through this cycle with no avail. Who cares about being the best anymore? All of this is pointless. I choose to always take this path, embarking on my journey and ending up here. It tells me that I can take another path...but what good would that do if it will all come to an end anyways?"

People looked at him worriedly, wondering if this was really happening or if he had gone mad or something along those lines. Prisma couldn't take it anymore. He refused to take on the Star Tyrant again. And it was at that moment, he made up his mind.

"In the end, none of this matters. None of us matter. This universe doesn't matter one bit. So...to ensure that another reset never happens, I will do what the Star Tyrant aims to do in advance. A way to make sure that another reset never happens. I will destroy everything!"

Prisma's eyes flashed as his Aura flared up with gigantic intensity, letting out a roar towards the skies above. As everything around him exploded with overwhelming force, the sent people, ponies, Pokemon and other species flying everywhere while trying to escape from his range.

The crowd shrieked in terror while watching as buildings around them crumbled under the sheer pressure alone with chunks of debris raining down towards them while they scrambled around frantically in search of somewhere safe to hide.

They all screamed in absolute fear when they realized just how powerful this attack was as the entire stadium itself seemed ready to collapse upon itself. It was all too unstable, just like how Prisma's mind had become due to all these retries.

In Prima's eyes, if he destroys the entire universe, then the Star Tyrant will have nothing to destroy and no more resets can ever happen. It was simple logic to him as he cast out his Aura while bringing out every single Pokemon in his arsenal as they too roared alongside him.

"That was the day Prisma decided to destroy absolutely everything. No matter what, he had to see it all destroyed. And in a way, he was correct. By doing this, the Star Tyrant would not reset the universe whatsoever."

The group were about to see Prisma's rampage and how he absolutely destroyed everything, but the memory would come to an end, a bright flash filling their vision as they covered their eyes from it. As the light faded away, they were back in the same room as before with Twilight Luminaria and a blank room with a record module at the front of them.

"This recording is being made while the rampage is going on. Right now, I am heading out to confront Prisma to stop him once and for all. If you see this, then there is a chance that you have either entered this room during the rampage or that the universe has potentially reset again. And if Prisma is somehow the one who finds this, I want to say that I'm sorry. I feel guilty because I failed you. If only I was around at that time. So... farewell. Potentially for good."

That was where it ended as the room returned to normal. They saw it all. Well, at least a good portion of it. Now they had a better understanding of things, but some were completely taken aback by this. Poor Sweetie Belle fainted, falling on her back as Rarity caught her.

"So that's what happened..." Applejack's jaw dropped. After seeing this, they weren't sure what to do next. They've never witnessed anything like that in their life. But the one thing they could do was inform the rest of their friends. Right here was a huge amount of information that could not be ignored as the journey continues.
