My Little Pokémon: Grander World
Eliminate Him
Previous ChapterNext ChapterEquestria. Ponyville Day.
The Next Day, in Ponyville, Ash passed through the gateway to arrive at Equestria, stretching his arms. He thought it would be a normal day today. Well, as normal as it gets in this world. And yet, he was always ready for something. The second he arrived here, instead of being met with something or someone friendly as always, he got a different surprise.
"Huh?" Ash looked up as he witnessed the Antibodies hovering there, looking down at him. "What the...?!"
The Antibodies, as always, said nothing. They just hovered there menacingly, making Ash back up.
"What are you guys...?" Ash was confused, unsure of what the Antibodies were. But the Antibodies didn't say anything, just floating there, gazing at him with their amorphous bodies. When looking at Ash, they could sense Prisma's soul within him. It was powerful. Devastating even. They could sense an unbridled level of destruction from it. They knew it was still dormant, but if it were to awaken, then everything would be lost.
They needed to act now before things could get out of control. So, they decided to act. Their goal was to eliminate the soul within Ash, not knowing that doing so would destroy Ash himself.
The Antibodies let out a menacing sound as they started glowing. Ash could hear a strange noise, looking up at them. He noticed their bodies pulsating, letting out a threatening energy from their bodies. Ash immediately took off as he saw a red and black ray fly out of them, attempting to strike him
"Gh!" Ash jumped out of the way, watching it explode. "Hey, wait!" He exclaimed, but the AAntibodies weren't about to listen to him. Not until they've eliminated that soul. Ash ran off with Pikachu, avoiding these rays.
This alerted some of the citizens who would spot this from a distance, looking up and spotting the Antibodies.
"Huh? What's going on?"
"It's those things again...It looks like they're after Ash."
"Ash?!" Spotting this was Twilight, who was currently shopping until she noticed this. She dropped her bags which Espeon caught with Psychic, swiftly flying over to try and speak with the Antibodies. She knew exactly why they were attacking Ash. It was all because of Prisma.
"Wait! Stop!" She called out to the Antibodies, but they didn't respond, firing another beam at Ash. The boy rolled to avoid it, with the attack going through a building, dealing no damage to it whatsoever.
"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika....!" Pikachu leapt off the ground, using Iron Tail to launch himself in the air. "Chu!" Pikachu fired a thunderbolt, which did very little against the Antibodies. It held them back for a bit, but they kept moving regardless.
After being shocked, the Antibodies would merge their rays together, forming a massive ball of energy. This would be launched at the fleeing Ash, descending from above. Ash just barely managed to distance himself from the ball which hit the ground. The impact let out a shockwave that knocked him off balance, falling onto the ground.
"Ngh!" He grunted while rolling across the ground.
"Pika!" Pikachu landed on the ground, running towards his trainer.
"Ash!" Twilight flew over, landing in front of Ash. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." Ash nodded, getting up. He looked back at the Antibodies, who were still hovering there. "Twilight...Who are they...?"
"They're called Antibodies." Twilight explained. "They're beings from the farthest reaches of the universe, here to sort out whatever they can. They originally came here to handle Stella Bloom and her Cutie Mark, but now they've got sights on you."
"Why me?"
"It's because of Prisma...They sense his soul within you, and in their eyes, he's a threat. They don't know the whole story, so they're gonna try and destroy him."
"But that'll destroy me too..."
"Exactly. Wait, Antibodies!" Twilight waved her hooves in front of them. "Listen! I know Prisma is dangerous, but we-" However, the Antibodies refused to listen to her. They saw Prisma that was too big of a threat to be something that could be reasoned with in any way, shape or form.
Instantly, they fired a ray at Twilight while she was speaking, catching her off guard. The ray would grab Twilight Sparkle, trapping her within its grasp.
"Huh? Wait!" Twilight exclaimed, struggling to break free. But the Antibodies would ignore her, increasing the power of the ray. "Let me go!"
"Twilight!" Ash rushed over, trying to help her. However, Twilight was soon launched by the Antibodies as if she were a pebble on a slingshot. Twilight cried out as she tumbled across the ground, eventually coming to a stop by crashing through a pair of flowers, stunning the pony taking care of them.
Twilight groaned, her body staggered and twitching from that launch. Espeon frantically ran over to her Trainer's side to see if she was okay with that. But after seeing Twilight take damage after trying to defend him, Ash turned to face the Antibodies, his confusion turning into anger.
"Hey! You don't even let her finish!" Ash roared back at the Antibodies. "If you're so serious about getting rid of Prisma, then leave her out of it!"
"Pika!"
The Antibodies lingered there when listening to Ash. To them, anyone that defends something surrounding Prisma will be tossed aside. That's how they see things. Unlike Stella Bloom's Cutie Mark, who they were neutral on, for Prisma, they were final in their decision. Prisma must be eliminated, even if that means Ash will suffer the same fate.
"I know you're not gonna listen, but I'm not gonna let you hurt her!" Ash declared, clenching his fist. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika...Chu!" Pikachu's cheeks sparked as he unleashed a powerful bolt of lightning. The Antibodies were hit, being pushed back a bit. But they didn't suffer any damage, recovering and shooting a ray at the duo.
"Iron Tail!" Ash commanded.
"Pika!" Pikachu spun around, using his tail to deflect the beam. He would then use Quick Attack, rushing towards the Antibodies. All it took was the Antibodies opening their amorphous bodies, causing Pikachu to pass through and miss. "Pi...?!"
The Antibodies would use their powers to make themselves intangible, allowing them to phase through objects and attacks. They would then use a part of their bodies to strike at Pikachu, knocking him back. The Mouse Pokemon went hurtling through the air at high speeds, crashing through a window and into a building and startling the two ponies inside.
"Hah?!"The stallion and his daughter gasped as Pikachu slid across the floor.
"Pikachu!" Ash called out, running towards the building.
"Pika!" Pikachu came leaping out of the building, using his tail to swing on a clothesline, launching himself at the Antibodies. He used Iron Tail to attack the Antibodies and since they didn't expect Pikachu to recover and return that quickly, they were struck by the Iron Tail, the attack hitting them square on as if they were solid.
"Nice one! Iron Tail repeatedly!"
"Chu...Pika!" Pikachu used his momentum to run up the Antibodies, jumping up and flipping in the air. "Pi! Pi! Pika! Chu!" He would unleash a flurry of Iron Tails, striking the Antibodies multiple times.
The Antibodies tried to fight back, but Pikachu's speed and agility made him a difficult target. They would try and grab him with their amorphous bodies, but Pikachu would use Quick Attack to get away, jumping and flipping around and even using the Antibodies' bodies as platforms to jump off of.
"Pi! Pi! Pika!" Pikachu attacked the Antibodies, hitting them repeatedly. Due these consistently heavy hits, the Antibodies were actually being staggered. For once, they were taking some damage. "Pi...!" Pikachu flipped in the air, aiming his tail at the Antibodies. He landed a direct hit on one of them, sending it hurtling across the sky.
"Ugh..." Twilight finally recovered, getting back up as she used Rift Magic to heal herself. After recovering and shaking her head, she looked onwards, viewing the battle up ahead. "Not good...They won't listen to me. But maybe, they'll listen to Princess Celestia and Luna."
Knowing that the Antibodies spoke with Celestia and Luna, Twilight believed that they would be the best to try and calm this situation down. She had to start moving as fast as possible before it was too late.
Now that Ash was battling against the Antibodies, the situation could escalate greatly. If Twilight wanted to get to Canterlot in time, she needed someone incredibly fast. And in this case, Rarity's Pheromosa could fulfil that role.
Rarity was already made aware of this sudden scuffle outside. While working on some dresses for Sweetie Belle due to the upcoming Grand Festival, she heard the sound of pots breaking, lightning crackling, and a loud boom.
"Oh my...what is going on out there?" Rarity asked, looking outside the window. She spotted the Antibodies, along with Ash and Pikachu fighting them. "Aren't those the Antibodies?!"
Before she could get an answer to this, opening the door to her boutique was Twilight, who was accompanied by Espeon and Pheromosa.
"Rarity!" Twilight called out. "Just for a while, I need Pheromosa's help!"
Canterlot.
Over at Canterlot, as a new day rose thanks to Celestia raising the Sun, the Ruler of Equestria would've expected to speak with the Antibodies today, just to see what they're making of this new addition to the world. But as she left the balcony, staring at the horizon for a while and admiring its beauty, she soon realized that overnight, her castle, for the most part, was in shambles.
Or in this chaos, purely chaotic.
Overnight, Passion had been struggling to keep Infernape still as he managed to break free from the Psychic Vines hours ago.
"Voir!" Passion exclaimed, zooming across the entire hallway as there was a mess of colours everywhere, littering the indoors. Infernape, being the hyperactive fellow that he was, was having the time of his life. He would use his flames to shoot at the pillars and walls, leaving scorch marks everywhere.
"You're wasting my time but also giving me a good workout!" Infernape laughed, swinging from pillar to pillar. Leftover Dazzling Gleams, Thunderbolts and so on were lingering across the hallway while most of the guards had fallen asleep, eventually finding out that Infernape was causing chaos, but ran out of steam in the end, leaving Passion to handle it all by herself.
"Oh my." Celestia blinked at this sight, watching the two of them run across the hallways. Passion was trying to keep Infernape under control, but he was too much for her. "Infernape has certainly done a number on the place."
"Sister, what is going on here?!" Luna exclaimed, having just arrived, her job in the Dream Realm fully done. "This is the second time I've come here and the castle is a mess!"
"Hm?" Infernape would come to a halt, looking onward to spot what he was looking for. The prized possession. Celestia's crown. "Aha! There it is! Finally!" He grinned, rushing towards it.
"Garde?! Voir!" Passion used Psychic to hold his body in place, preventing him from even touching her trainer.
"Passion. What's going on?" Celestia asked, easily seeing that the situation here was not as dangerous as it could be. Rather, it was a bit ridiculous.
"Gardevoir!" Passion explained, holding Infernape in place. She told Celestia that Infernape was planning on stealing her crown, and she's been trying to stop him since then.
"I see. So, Infernape's been trying to steal the crown?" Celestia questioned, looking at the Flame Pokemon and his Cutie Mark. He noticed how Infernape was capable of talking naturally without using any telepathy, all thanks to his mark. "Hm. I understand what's going on here. Well, something like this can't go unpunished. It's silly, I'll admit, but consequences will have to be made." Celestia nodded her head.
"I'm so close...!" Infernape grit his teeth, trying to push through Passion's Psychic. "This girl's been chasing me across the castle for hours! She's relentless!"
"She is, isn't she?" Celestia smiled. "Why are you even here, Infernape? Any reason?"
"Well, when I was at my kingdom over at the Sizzling Range, I wanted to do way more! Become way better than I am now! One of which involves becoming as respected as you and that human!"
"Ah." Celestia lightly nodded her head when listening to Infernape. "And you believe taking my crown will be a great stepping point? A ransom, even?"
"Exactly!" Infernape grinned as his willpower to obtain that crown was slowly starting to push through the Psychic hold.
"Shall we jail him, sister?" Luna asked. "Clearly, he's some sort of criminal.
"Hm. He reminds me of a story I used to read when I was young. The story of a rambunctious monkey who sought all kinds of glory." Celestia pondered for a moment. "And it seems that the Cutie Mark is what's driving him to this, so I won't fully blame him. But I wonder...is his Cutie Mark based on that story? The thought of a Cutie Mark representing tales is fascinating actually."
Celestia started daydreaming, her nostalgia coming to fruition and the wonder of the future fascinating her.
"Sister." Luna tapped her back, trying to alert her of her Infernape potentially breaking through.
"Come to think of it, I do believe that story is based on reality. Somewhere in the east or potentially in another universe, that figure exists..." Celestia thought deeply, thinking of the story. "I wonder if that's the case."
"Sister?" Luna kept nudging her as she saw Infernape break through the Psychic hold, zooming straight for Celestia.
"I should maybe visit that universe. It would be lovely to see one of my favourite stories in its purest form." Celestia smiled with her eyes closed. Luna tried stopping Infernae but he moved too fast for her magic to catch up to him.
"Sister!"
"Gotcha!" With a powerful swipe, Infernape managed to grab Celestia's crown, removing it from her mane while she still had her eyes closed. However, Celestia knew that it had been taken, but didn't seem too bothered by it whatsoever. "I got it! The crown is mine!"
Infernape boasted while backflipping away, landing on the edge of an open window.
"Gardevoir!?" Passion was shocked by this, but Celestia remained calm. Infernape raised the crown high, cackling greatly.
"You criminal! Cutie Mark or not, I'll see to it that you undergo a strong punishment!" Luna growled, shaking her hoof at him.
"If you want this back, then do this for me! I came here to make myself greater than I already am! Being the Ruler of Equestria is a big deal, isn't it I mean, I live in it. So, why not make me something of the same calibre? That'll be my reward!"
"Oh?" Celestia was interested, not at all phased by the fact that Infernape just took her crown. "Is that so?"
"Of course! Like...umm...Any vital title will do! Something that puts me on your level!" Nothing came to mind. Infernape wasn't sure what he could choose so any title that was on par with Celestia's would do.
"That just means I'll be below you!" Luna barked. "And I refuse to be underneath some petty thief!"
"Hm. I don't really have anything, to be honest." Celestia casually shrugged. "I have no titles to give you, Infernape?"
"No titles? In that case...You won't be getting this back anytime soon. In fact, I know what I'll really do with this crown." Infernape had a devious grin. "By wielding this, I'll declare this a sign of me matching the great ruler of Equestria! Holding the very thing that makes her the Princess of Equestria! By extension, that means I'll be better than you automatically! My whole kingdom will be better!"
"What?! You can't do that!" Luna was furious, but Celestia didn't seem too bothered. From what Infernape was suggesting, it sounded like he was going to start a war at this rate.
"I just did. Unless you have something, I'm on top right now. Later!" Infernape jumped out of the castle, laughing as he ran off with the crown, ready to return to the Sizzling Range.
Luna's jaw dropped, stunned to see how her sister did absolutely nothing. Usually, she's the first to take action but she seemed casual about it. Passion was just as surprised as her. Perhaps that battle with Ash made her too lenient and casual with how she didn't react all that much. She didn't even react to Infernape taking the crown.
"Seems like he wants to start a conflict over that one tiara. A shame." Celestia shook her head, walking back to her room which was right behind her. By doing so, she opened one of the wardrobes, revealing something that not even Luna or Passion knew about.
In that wardrobe was a massive array of extra tiaras. There were at least 100, all exactly the same. Celestia would take one out, placing it on her head. It was as if she never lost it.
"He's practically holding a souvenir now." Celestia smiled, flipping her mane. "On top of that, I always keep a spell on my tiaras. He'll feel the effects soon enough."
"Y-You have spares? Why don't I have spares?" Luna pouted, flabbergasted at this, pointing at her sister.
"Thousand years of preparations~" Celestia smiled while walking off. Because of this, she wouldn't have to bother with Infernae, letting the tiara do its thing. Soon, he'll realize that it was not that important to her at all.
But what will be important is Twilight currently approaching Canterlot while on Pheromosa's back. She zoomed across the land at high speeds, arriving at the city within a few minutes. She came to a halt, sliding across the ground and eventually stopping. Noticeably, she stopped at the pony that was the reason as to why the Antibodies even showed up on Earth. Stella Bloom.
"Oh!" Stella was startled by Pheromosa suddenly appearing in front of her.
"Hm?" Twilight took a gander at the pony standing before her, spotting the Cutie Mark. "You...You must be Stella Bloom, right? The one with the Pokemon Cutie Mark?"
"That's me...yes. Are you here for me?"
"No, no. I'm here for Princess Celestia and Luna. It's bad news. The Antibodies started attacking Ash. They're gonna destroy him because of Prisma's soul within him."
"...Hah?" Stella wasn't exactly caught up on the Prisma thing unlike how most were, so this confused her from the get-go.
"Come to think of it...They're here because of you, aren't they? By any chance, will the Antibodies listen to you? Since you're the reason they're here, maybe they'll hear you out instead of me. I tried but they shoved me aside instantly."
"Maybe...They listened to Princess Celestia perfectly since they respected her. But Princess Celestia used magic to speak with them telepathically and I can't do that. So, I don't know if they'll listen to me."
"Alright then..." Twilight nodded her head in understanding, falling back on Celestia and by extension, Luna.
"Oh! But today, you should know this. Today, I'm supposed to be seeing the Antibodies again, just as an update on things and this might be good for you to know, Princess Twilight." Stella now had Twilight's attention with this. "Last night, I had a dream. Princess Luna told me that my Cutie Mark showed me a dream of the future. And it happened again. What I saw shocked me...it was a sign of the future and...
"And what? What did you see?" Twilight had to know. It sounded serious based on how Stella lowered her head.
"I saw two outcomes. And they looked rather near. One of them was that the world was destroyed."
As the journey continues.
