Short:Dominant Soul
Galar. Weslist City. Afternoon.
Both Twilights opened their eyes.
The Souls of Twilight Luminaria had awoken once more. As the light subsided, the two Twilight's opened their eyes, both glowing with an ethereal glow. A powerful magical presence was felt, sweeping the entire building and making the people watching the battle stand up in awe. And as both stood and sat there with a magnificent glow, in unison, the two of them started speaking, their voices melding as one. It was a mixture of Sci-Twi Wish and Twilight Luminaria's voice, but Luminaria's was the dominant one overall.
"We are... Twilight Luminaria...." The voices said. "I am Twilight Sparkle. I am Moonlight and Wish. We are...the four of us are...me. My name is Luminaria and I am a Queen."
"L-Lum...?" Bea was stunned.
"Is this...her?" Bambi asked. "Twilight Luminaria...?"
"You." Both Twilights pointed at her. "You who wishes to stop us. You believe that preventing my return will solve everything. How naive."
"Uh? Wha? What's this now?" Ciel questioned.
"I understand your fears and your worries. But I cannot allow you to get in my way. Doing so will only realize what you truly fear." The voices stated. "And because of that, you yourself are a threat."
"I... I'm a threat...?!" Ciel was confused by this. She didn't know what to do. "As if! If anything, it's you that I have to worry about! I'm tired of all these wild events coming our way! Which is why I'm gonna make sure one of you doesn't have the spirit to continue anymore!"
"By putting pressure on one of my incarnations? A costly mistake. For that, I shall reverse it." By raising their hands to the air, Sci-Twi and Twilight Wish were engulfed in a brilliant light that was unleashed around them.
The pressure would cease to be, as Kirlia and Kubfu's wounds were being healed by an intense, powerful aura that surrounded their bodies. The glow was too intense to see, but Kirlia's form started to change as the rocks that were pinning them down started to break into pieces and shatter. And in seconds, that's exactly what would happen. The rocks broke into tiny chunks, freeing the Embrace Pokemon and Kubfu.
As the light vanished, Kirlia was replaced with a Gardevoir. The Embrace Pokemon was standing tall with a confident expression. She was no longer a Pokemon to underestimate as she glared right at Aerodactyl and Mareanie.
"G-Gardevoir!"
"W-woah! She...She made her evolve?! Just like that?!" Bambi exclaimed, seeing the Pokemon in a new light. But she did not stop there.
"Gardevoir was amongst one of my Pokemon in my universe. It only feels right to have her like this, even if only for a while. But as for your Pokemon, they will be the ones to feel the pressure. By using this spell, I hereby limit your Pokemon's movement and power!" Suddenly, Aerodactly and Mareanie were surrounded by a large, purple, spherical aura, locking their movement. The two Pokemon struggled to get free from this aura, but it kept them in place.
"A-Aero?!"
"Mare?!"
"Stop! What are you doing?!" Ciel exclaimed, watching as her Pokemon struggled.
"To show you what you will fail to ever compare to." Both spoke, the eyes glowing bright with a powerful, ethereal magic. "Now. Gardevoir. Take action at once. Use Dazzling Gleam."
"Voir! Garde...!" Hold her arms out, she summoned the same ball of bright light, shining with a powerful intensity. Once it was released, the light became beams of pink, striking against the aura that was holding the Fossil Pokemon and Brutal Star Pokemon, trapping them.
The force of the impact was so great that the seats would ripple, as if a powerful blast was going off in front of the people watching. Sci-Twi's friends watched with awe, while Ciel grit her teeth.
"I won't let you stop me so easily!" Ciel would still retaliate. "Aerodactyl! Break free! Use Ice Fang! Mareanie! Sludge Bomb!" Even in the aura, Ciel's Pokemon were not ready to go down that easily. Aerodactyl would force itself free, roaring to the air as it opened its jaws. The Brutal Star Pokemon followed suite, spitting a barrage of purple projectile towards Sci-Twi's Pokemon. Kubfu prepared himself, only for Gardevoir to take the initiative once more.
"Psychic."
"Gardevoir!" Holding her hand out, the Pokemon summoned a powerful, bright blue psychic aura that would stop Aerodactyl in its tracks. With her fingers, she moved her fingers to make Aerodactyl move around in the air. It felt like it was a mere toy and not a real Pokemon.
"Ae...Aero....!" The Fossil Pokemon couldn't do anything. The aura surrounding Mareanie vanished, but the Psychic Type had already trapped Aerodactyl, not giving it the chance to fight back. Ciel grit her teeth, watching Mareanie get struck by the Sludge Bomb, making it explode.
"Kub? Kubfu!" Kubfu turned to face Sci-Twi, requesting that he get involved right away.
However, she ignored, focusing more on Gardevoir. "Dazzling Gleam, once again." The Twilights ordered.
"Gar...! Devoir!" The Pokemon unleashed another attack of Dazzling Gleam, the blast of pink light shining through the entire area, striking Aerodactyl and making the Pokemon cry in pain. The attack pushed him back, forcing the Pokemon back into the wall as it slid down, struggling to get back up.
"A-Aero...."
"This isn't fair!" Ciel bellowed.
"Fair? To all things that are a threat, I do not play fair. And it seems like you've played unfairly as well." Sci-Twi and Twilight Wish would say. "Thus, the retribution is served." Aerodactyl was struggling to keep itself up, while Mareanie stood tall, only to fall onto the floor. The Brutal Star Pokemon wasn't defeated yet, but it looked as though it would fall unconscious at any time.
"Mare...anie..."
"Enough of this. End it at once, Gardevoir. Psychic."
"Garde! Gardevoir!" Gardevoir's aura was now glowing with a powerful intensity that would surround Aerodactly in a bright, blue aura. The Pokemon struggled to free itself from the Psychic Pokemon, but Gardevoir wouldn't allow it. Her glare intensified as Aerodactly roared out, before it suddenly fell down, defeated in seconds.
"Rgh...!" Ciel growled, feeling a great sense of anger in her body. Mareanie would soon collapse as well. And as it did, the two Twilights spoke in unison.
"Consider this a warning, for you and your entire team. And by extension, a warning to others." They would state. "If you wish to continue your foolish quest in stopping me from returning, then you shall only suffer a worse defeat in the future." Suddenly, the aura around both of the Pokemon vanished, the glow in their eyes dimmed, the magic surrounding them slowly dissipated, and Twilight Wish fell from the sky. Bea quickly ran over, jumping to catch the girl and landing on her feet, looking up to see Sci-Twi standing in her spot.
"T-Twilight?!" Bambi exclaimed. The girl quickly snapped out of her dazed state and took a deep breath, looking at the scene in front of her.
"A-Aerodactyl...Mareanie...you did good." Ciel said. "You both did really good. Thank you."
"...Ugh..." Sci-Twi's eyes would keep that glow for a bit, the soul within her resonating for a bit longer. However, eventually, her eyes returned to normal as she would drop to her knees and take several deep breaths. Her body felt incredibly hot and her mind felt like a mess, the thoughts racing through her head being that of Luminaria.
Afterwards, Sci-Twi would pass out, falling to the floor. Bambi would rush to her side, while Bea took Twilight Wish to where Sci-Twi was, looking to help her friend recover from her faint.
An hour had passed
Sci-Twi slowly opened her eyes. She looked up at the ceiling and saw that she was in the infirmary. The battle between Ciel and her had ended with her victory, and her awakening was a warning. She looked over to the right and saw that Bambi was right there, sleeping on the chair. She smiled a bit, before noticing someone else.
Bea was right next to her, sitting by Sci-Twi's side until she wakes up. When she did, Bea smiled and spoke to her. "You're finally awake."
"Yeah, I am." She looked down, her glasses almost coming off. "How long was I out for?"
"A couple of hours." She explained. "It's getting late now." The two of them sat in the room, Sci-Twi's mind was in a bit of a scramble after her awakening as Luminaria.
"That feeling...being taken over by her like that. Now I know what it feels like for Ash and Red when Primsa takes over..." Sci-Twi spoke. Bea nodded in understanding, knowing the feeling all too well.
"Are you going to be ok?"
"I hope so. I'm going to believe that I'll be okay. But after that...I'm worried of the next time it'll happen." Sci-Twi clutched the bed sheets. "It didn't feel like when I was Midnight Sparkle. It felt so different from that. I don't know to describe it." Sci-Twi would sit up straight, staring off into space. Bea would hold her hand.
"You're still you." Bea reassured. "That's what I think."
"I'm...just not sure about it." Sci-Twi responded, feeling worried. Bea's grip would tighten a little as she held the human girl's hand in her grasp. She didn't know what else to do. She couldn't say much in a moment like this.
"Well...Pinkie Pie once told me to look on the bright side of things at times. So, in this case, look on the bright side. At least you know what triggers the soul within you to take action." She said. Sci-Twi smiled at this.
"I should really apologize to Ciel too after what happened."
"No. I should apologize." Entering the room was Ciel. Sci-Twi and Bea turned to look at her. She would come to a halt, lowering her head and balling her fists. "Twilight...I'm sorry. Everything I said to you, how I treated you and everything... I shouldn't have tried to crush your spirit. I was only trying to do what was best for this world." Ciel looked up at her. "Please forgive me, Twilight!" She bowed, showing her utmost respect to her.
"C-Ciel..." Sci-Twi couldn't help but feel surprised. Ciel was being sincere in this instance. It felt strange to hear this coming from the girl. She smiled. "There's no reason for me to be mad. It was just a battle. But if you're willing to apologize, I forgive you."
"Thank you..." Ciel spoke. "I uh...I need to head home for a bit and think." She turned away, deciding to head home. "I'm gonna need time to myself."
As she left and Sci-Twi took a deep sigh, feeling rather relieved that the worst so far has passed, her attention turned to another. It turned to Kubfu, who sitting alone in the corner. He didn't participate in the fight at the end and felt rather upset.
"Kubfu..." He remembered how Sci-Twi flat-out ignored him and prioritized Gardevoir, even though it was only temporary, much like Kirlia's time as a Gardevoir. If anything, Kubfu didn't improve at all. His opponents were weakened by Twilight Luminaria's magic and Gardevoir was the one who dealt the finishing blow. All he could do was sit and watch.
"Oh, Kubfu." Sci-Twi got up, walking over to the Wushu Pokemon. "Kubfu." She picked the Fighting Type up. "I had no control over that. I'm sorry it didn't go the way you wanted it to." She gave a smile, one that made him smile as well, hugging him. She held the Pokemon close to her body, holding him like the precious being he is to her. "I promise, we'll get you to be stronger." She assured him.
"Kub..." Kubfu obviously knew that it wasn't Sci-Twi's fault, but he still wished to do more today.
"How about tomorrow...We go and visit Ash for extra training? How does that sound?"
"Kubfu! Kub!" He was already ready to go. Bea giggled, watching Sci-Twi put down the Pokemon. She smiled as Sci-Twi sat by her side, smiling. The Wushu Pokemon had a lot of determination to become the best he could possibly become. Even if instances like this get in the way.
Within Sci-Twi's Soul.
However, at this moment, deep within Sci-Twi, the soul of Twilight Luminaria was resting as always. But after that brief awakening she had, the soul was now speaking to itself, planning ahead for the next time it could take action. For now, it would have to rest until then, and so would her four reincarnations. It would take time for all of them to fully awaken, and even more time for all four of them to come together.
"I see. So that's what triggers it. Potential provoking. Or perhaps, it's more specific than that..." She wondered. "Perhaps the two were triggered due to Ciel provoking them. But I won't know unless I have them all here." The soul spoke. "I can already sense it. The movement of the third soul. The one who is more willing to see my return."
She referred to Twilight Moonlight. "The one named Ciel might have failed to prevent one of my reincarnations from reaching me, but the others have not."
As Twilight Luminaria's soul rested in the void of nothingness that was the void within Sci-Twi's body, a thought came to mind. "As much as it seems far too dire and...unorthodox, to ensure my return, I will have to encourage conflict."
She decided. "After all...I don't wish to fail once more. Like last time. I ended my universe, but this one is at equal risk as the last one, if not more. Stopping Prisma means erasing and replacing the existence of 10 others. It has to be done. No matter what." Twilight Luminaria said, before diminishing, returning to its slumber. Sci-Twi's life would return to a state of normality, at least, for the time being.
