Meteor Assault! The Names Hidden from Existence

Harmony had been found.
After Sirfetch'd thrust what appeared to be a wall but was actually Harmony using a spell to mask herself, the Fused Pony had been revealed. Her eyes spun around for a while as the explosion made her dizzy. But she managed to shake it off.
After recollecting herself, she looked up to see a few Pokemon standing before her, one of which being a Dragonite, which made her incredibly nervous. "GAH!"
"Dragonite!" The Pokemon ran over to her, jumping on her and tightly hugging her. Harmony screamed out in pain, having her bones crushed by this overbearing hug. Dragonite could sense the familiarity of all her friends. She sensed Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie within Harmony, causing her to react in such a way.
"D-Drat...!" Harmony puffed her cheeks, feeling that she was suffocating. "I can't...break free!"
"You're name is Harmony, isn't it? Fluttershy told me." Ash revealed. "You're the pony I saw yesterday. But why are you here? What do you want?"
"Dragon!" Dragonite called out. It was at that moment that Sirfetch'd, still in the grasp of Ash, spotted the girl and recognized her. She was the pony that had just joined the group a day ago. He remembered her from yesterday. And now, he knows her true identity.
"Sir. Fetch'd." He stepped forward, walking over to Harmony and raising his sword at her in suspicion.
"Geeeeeh!" Harmony shrieked before teleporting to a different distance instantly. "Stay back! You won't get the best of me, Prisma!"
"Sir. Sirfetch'd!" He turned around and chased her down. In the midst of it all, Harmony's mind was racing. She had just been seen. All of the time spent trying to get close to him and find the perfect moment to capture him, was all wasted in a matter of seconds. Now, her next best course of action was to retreat and try again some other time.
But as she was retreating, she kept bumping into Pokemon, such as Lucario, Gengar, Dragonite, Luxray and many others, unable to properly escape from the Gym.
"Ah! Hold on, Sirfetch'd!" Ash cried out to the Pokemon, telling him to stop chasing her. But he wasn't the only one chasing. Dracovish was joining in on the action too.
"Draco! Draco! Dracovish!" The Pokemon cried out, rushing after them both. It was just as fast as Sirfetch'd and managed to keep up with it. The Fossil Pokemon would then lunge at Harmony, trying to bite her.
"V-V-Vish!" The Pokemon's teeth bit onto the tip of Sirfetch'd's leek, pulling on it. This resulted in Sirfetch'd stopping dead in his tracks, unable to move forward from Dracovish's pulling. But the Fossil Pokemon was too strong to be pushed forward, and the result of all of this was the two of them stopping in place as Harmony ran.
"Phew..." Harmony wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"Sir...!" Sirfetch'd was annoyed at the moment. He could've captured her if Dracovish wasn't trying to bite onto his leek at that moment. But it was too late now. Harmony had escaped from the Gym, leaving everyone confused.
"Hold on a sec!" Ash spoke up. "I'm not an enemy! You already met with Fluttershy and the others, so they already told you about me, right? I've got Prisma in me, but I'm not him!"
"That's what I'm worried about..." Harmony grimaced, still being cautious of Ash. She didn't fully believe in Ash. She wanted to, but she was also worried about trusting him. She had only just met him and already, he was trying to tell her that he was a good guy. But Harmony was still a little cautious of him. "I can't be too sure!"
"Really? Man..." Ash scratched his hair.
"Actually...Yes. I can't say for certain what you would've done, but from what I know of Prisma, he wouldn't hold back. But...I don't think you would've either." Harmony explained. "I've been watching you this whole time, following you around, keeping a down low and watching your every move. But so far, nothing out of the ordinary."
"You were spying on me? That's weird." Ash scratched his hair.
"Ehehe..." Harmony nervously laughed, sweat dropping. That only gave her a judgemental look from Sirfetch'd as he aimed his leek at her. "Eek!"
"Sir...!" Sirfetch'd narrowed his eyes at her. She picked a bad time to bring it up since Sirfetch'd was working on a way to protect Ash.
"Hm. I guess you would be super worried about me. You're from the Lost Universe after all." Ash crossed his arms, understanding Harmony.
"W-What?! She's from that Universe?!" Clemont stuttered. He was currently looking at someone who used to live in that fantastical Universe. "That means she's somewhat of a relic!"
"A relic is a bit much, don't you think?" Harmony asked, feeling a little uncomfortable being called that.
"N-No, not at all!" Clemont cried, waving his arms. "I've never met anyone from that Universe before, so this is really cool!" To Clemont, this was history being shown to him. Technically. While it wasn't related to the past, it felt like it in a sense. "Seeing someone from another world, let alone a lost one! There's so much I want to know!"
"R-Really? Well, I..." Harmony was a bit stunned. She expected to be met with hostility but only Sirfetch'd was the one showing any hostility. The rest were either confused or intrigued.
"I've got a few questions about what it was like in the Lost Universe!" Clemont said. "Mainly about the technology thee! I hear it was at the zenith of Science, just as much as it was with Magic!"
"Oh, I..." Harmony felt overwhelmed. It's been so long since she's had this sort of interaction. And she felt flattered, being asked so much and getting the spotlight. "Well...the technology there was incredible, definitely on par with the magic there. I didn't use any of it, but I was fascinated with it myself."
"Hmmm..." Bonnie took a look at Harmony for a while, examining in the fused pony. She walked around Harmony, confusing the alicorn as she was wondering why Bonnie was walking in circles around her. But she would find the answer soon enough as Bonnie walked to the front, grabbed her face with both hands and squeezed her cheeks, causing Harmony to make a funny expression.
"Umm...Can I ask why you're doing that?" She wondered, feeling Bonnie's fingers squishing her cheeks. But Bonnie said nothing.
"She does that." Clemont answered. "I don't really know what for, but whenever she meets someone, she does that." He shrugged, not understanding it either.
Bonnie kept doing that to her cheeks, feeling a sense of familiarity. That same familiarity that Dragonite felt. But she was also looking for something else.
"You're perfect!" Bonnie suddenly screeched before moving back, suddenly getting on one knee. And with full confidence, she spoke those words Clemont wanted to hear. "Please! Even though it doesn't look like it would make sense, Marry my Brother!"
And there it was. The dreaded line that always came from Bonnie's lips. Clemont grimaced as this happened. Harmony on the other hand was blushing, with a bright red face. She wasn't used to this sort of thing and never has she ever considered it. Especially with a human.
"Marry him?" Harmony blinked as Clemont gripped his hair.
"I know you're a pony and he's a human, but I bet you can make it work! Plus, you're an alicorn and I hear they're the best kind of pony! I bet you'll live forever, and so you'll always be with Clemont!"
"B-B-Bonnie!" Harmony stuttered. She had never been proposed to and was a blushing mess. Her wings fluttering around as her hair swished back and forth. Her eyes shifting left and right in confusion.
Ash just laughed. He didn't really know what to make of this. It seemed funny to him that Bonnie was proposing on her brother's behalf, especially to an alicorn. But Harmony was clearly embarrassed.
"I'll pass. Thank you for the offer though." Harmony cleared her throat. She had no idea why this young girl would do something like this, but she was flattered.
"Awww..." Bonnie was bummed out.
"Harmony. You wanna talk for a while?" Ash approached Harmony, wanting to reach an equal level on her about the whole Prisma thing.
"A-Alright. But just so you know, I have to be as careful as possible. Even though you aren't him, the soul of Prisma is within you. Her Radiance didn't expect Prisma to be in this new existence at all, let alone his soul living within another being." Harmony explained, getting a bit more comfortable around Ash. "So, I can't trust you just yet."
"Her Radiance? You mean Twilight Luminaria, right?" Ash asked. Harmony was shocked to hear Ash say Twilight Luminaria's name. After all, the main Twilight's current existence was as a princess, and not the Queen she was before. The same goes for the other 3, who aren't princesses at all.
"Y-You know about her? How much do you know about us?" Harmony questioned. " And you're taking this well?"
"It's got me kinda worried. But that's why all my friends are gonna do what they can to help me, Red and the others. No one wants the worst to happen, so we all chime in however we can."
"Y-Your not concerned about the soul within you? The one of an evil trainer who tried to destroy our Universe?" Harmony questioned. "He was someone truly dangerous."
"Well...Yeah, I do worry. But that doesn't mean we have to stop our lives. That's why I've still gotta keep going. I have to keep going for all my Pokemon who count on me. If anything, it's a good way to show Prisma that I can be the good guy here."
"Hmmm..." Harmony thought to herself.
"I don't blame you. I wasn't there after all. Plus, I've only awakened three times as Prisma." Ash giggled. Harmony would soon giggle afterwards. After listening to Ash, it was all made clear to her. Her early assumption was true. Ash was just himself. "But hey, I'm gonna have a match later on, so why don't we talk about it then?"
"Oh. Okay." Harmony agreed.
"But for now...We're still training. Sirfetch'd is gonna have a hard time perfecting Meteor Assault." Ash said, looking at his Sirfetch'd.
"Sir?" He tilted his head. Harmony had seen the move from a distance. She knew that the Pokemon wanted to protect its Trainer at all costs despite what he had within him. True loyalty. The alicorn was starting to grow fond of the two of them, and was getting an idea of what kind of Trainer Ash was. "Fetch'd!"
"Ah! The training! I've got an idea!" That's when an idea struck Ash's head on how he was going to help Sirfetch'd perfect his Meteor Assault. Putting his hands together, he had a bright grin, believing this plan would work out.
Equestria. Ponyville. Twilight's Castle.
Back at Equestria, Twilight had brought the Luminaria Lineage Book back to her castle, taking full interetst in it. She wanted to study the book, to know more about her past and her connection to Twilight Luminaria. Based on the title of this book, she believed it would tell her about Twilight Luminaria's lineage as whole. From start to finish. Well, the finish was already known due to how the Lost Universe turned out.
She sat in her room with Espeon sleeping on the bed, opening the book, taking a deep breath. She knew this would probably change her life forever if she were to continue on with the reading, so she wanted to mentally prepare herself. After that deep breath, she flipped open the first page and began reading the contents of the book, learning the secrets of Twilight Luminaria and the Luminaria Kingdom itself.
The book started with a brief history of Twilight Luminaria's lineage. It all started with one pony who was born into the Luminaria family, an Earth Pony by the name of Bright Luminaria, a stallion with a bright white mane. He was the first pony of the Luminaria Lineage and lived 5,000 Years before Twilight Luminaria was born.
Bright seemed to be born into a difficult life as there was no royatly to speak of at the time. Most ponies just did their own thing. There were no leaders and everypony did their own thing. The same went for Humans and other species at the time, but the Humans had managed to form the first batch of kingdoms to ever exist in that world.
It was revealed that Bright came across one of these kingdoms. He came into this place as a visitor from Equestria, which even existed in that universe, seeking assistance. He believed coming to this Kingdom would solve his issues back home. Bright came from a miniscule village known as Canterlot. It was just like Ponyville, but much smaller. There were a plethora problems that Canterlot was having. One being the fact that it was underdeveloped and lacking in technology and magic alike. They barely had any resources to help themselves, so he had to seek assistance from outside of his home. He had hoped to get some assistance in order to develop the village into something greater than just a village.
As Bright came to this kingdom and explained his troubles, he would soon learn of what exactly a King and Queen were, something he had no knowledge of prior. As he told the rulers his troubles, he would learn about what they were and how they operated. They took care of a large population and had to ensure everyone was safe and secure. They would have a council and advisors, a wide variety of people that would support the rulers of a nation.
The King and Queen had no children of their own. But when Bright told the King and Queen about his struggles in Canterlot, they decided to assist him. The King and Queen were known as-
And that was it. Before Twilight could continue, the names of the King and Queenvanished out of sight, right before her eyes. "?!" She watched as the words would fizzle out, the ink drooping out from the paper and disappearing. "What the?!"
"E-Espeon!?" She cried out, looking over to her partner. She woke up and ran to her, watching as the ink vanished before her eyes. Espeon gasped at this.
"Es...Espe!" The Sun Pokemon gasped, seeing the ink vanishing. She used Psychic on the book and flipped the page to see if there was more. But as it turned out, all of it had gone missing as well, with the entire book having it's contents erased from the pages. "E-Espeon!"
"What's going on?! The ink...it just...vanished!" Twilight was shocked. The information of Twilight Luminaria's past lineage was disappearing. It had to be a spell of some kind, but who would've done such a thing?
Twilight and Espeon looked at one another, wondering the same thing. Twilight turned the page, hoping to know more about the King and Queen. When she did, obviously, Bright's story was in there, but once the names of the King and Queen were brought up once more, yet again, they would be erased. But now, the entire page was erased, leaving the entire page empty.
"Again?!" Twilight turned to the next and repeatedly, the names of the King and Queen would keep on vanishing. She flipped through every single page and hoped to see the names somewhere, anywhere. But they kept disappearing.
It wasn't even about Twilight Luminaria's lineage anymore. NOw, she wanted to now who the King and Queen were and why this book was trying to coneal their names from her.
But after a few tries, she'd end up finding a few names, not just the King and Queens, but others. The names of their advisors and allies. Their families, relatives and even children, if they ever had any.
She flipped the page and spotted another name, not of the King and Queen, but their son. She flipped the page again, finding the name of their daughters. But as she flipped the next page, she saw their relatives names, the siblings of the King and Queen, vanishing once again.
"It's not working...Whoever did this, they were very thorough." Twilight noted, knowing full well that this was a spell. Someone did something to this book, so whoever made it was definitely not on good terms with the person who cast the spell on it. "I can't get a single word of their names. Every time they come up, the book erases their names from existence. And I can't use a spell to stop this from happening."
"Eon." Espeon shook her head. She had tried using Psychic on the book again but nothing she could do could stop the spell from occurring, or prevent the erasure of the names.
"Hold on...There's a name there! Look, Espeon!" She pointed to a name that appeared on the page. She saw the names of two Humans, two of their closest allies.
The first Human's name was King Nucleo, a Human King who was an old ally to the King and Queen. He ruled a Kingdom known as Unito and was married to a woman named Queen Nebula.
"They're still there..." Twilight was stunned. The names were not being erased, unlike the King and Queen's. She flipped the page once again, seeing more words on the King and Queen. Their names, vanishing like usual. "That's so strange. How come these two have their names on here but the King and Queen don't? Are they more important than Twilight Luminaria...?"
It befuddled the young alicorn. Clearly, there was a reason for such a mystery. By all accounts, it made it seem like the two of them were more vitaol to something she didn't know. But as she kept turning the page, something curious came up. There was one page that didn't have its word vanish, involving the King and Queen.
Granted, it didn't reveal the names but it did reveal some rather important and special information about them and it was noticeably on the later parts of the page, passing by many other figures within this book that came after them. She began to read the page but her attention was mainly drawn to the images.
On the book, images of the Queen were shown, albeit vague. She was mostly obscured and the pages she was shown were mostly cut, burned, ripped, torn, scratched, and everything else one can imagine. But from the few images she could see of the Queen, there was something that made her gasp in surprise.
Her face.
It was blurry, blotted with long-lasting char and various other marks, but Twilight could just barely make it out. When narrowing eyes, using some magic to enhance her eyesight, she took a gander at the face of this Queen, the appearance surprising her.
She looked like Delia Ketchum.
"Th...that's not right. There's no way that can be real." Twilight said with an unnerved feeling in her voice. Espeon was stunned to see this. There was just no way.
"Espeon!" Espeon shouted. "Espe! Espeon!"
"You're right, Eve! Maybe that's not Delia's face. But that facial structure...plus the hair as well. It matches her so much." Twilight explained. This caught her off guard in an unexpected manner.
Twilight flipped the page to the next chapter of the book, hoping to find some information on the King, the one who was the husband of the woman. There was one thing she had to wonder. Did he look like Ash? But alas, there was no image of the King. Only the Queen. This one image of the Queen had Twilight a bit perplexed and raised a lot of questions.
Kalos. Lumiose City. Prism Tower. Lumiose City Gym.
"Here's what we're gonna do! Just focus on me, Sirfetch'd!" To help Sirfetch'd, Ash would make himself a target so that Sirfetch'd could practice his thrusts. An outlandish approach to training that only Ash would ever think of.
"S-Seriously?! I can't have you getting hurt over this!" Clemont shouted in protest, but the look on Ash's face was the same look Ash always gave. The same expression that showed his sheer determination.
"Ah. He's really gonna go for it." Harmony knew that look. Ash had that expression on his face the whole time she was following him. The Rainbow Dash part of Harmony wanted to see this withouto a doubt hile the Fluttershy part showed worry.
"It's the only way that Sirfetch'd can properly train himself." Ash explained. "If he has a live target that he can aim at, then it's gonna be a whole lot easier for him. It'll give him more of an incentive to get it right." He said with confidence in his voice. Ash was not backing down. "This is the only way that he can improve."
"Fetch'd..." The duck pokemon looked over at his trainer, seeing the look on his face. He could tell that his trainer was being completely honest about this and knew exactly what he was talking about. It was his way of showing his loyalty to him.
"Well...It's how you've always been." Clemont scratched his hair. He was more than familiar with Ash's antics by this point and knew he wasn't going to back out of it. It was a bad idea, but at the same time, it seemed like it would work. If Ash had the confidence that his plan would succeed, then it seemed like a good plan, albeit a bit on the crazy side.
"Well...If that's the case, then let me do something." Harmony would walk forward to Ash. She'd put a wing over him and raise it above the two, a bright yellow light appearing. Ash felt a strange surge of power rush into his body. He didn't feel any stronger, but he was certain that whatever she did was something beneficial.
"What'd you do?" He asked.
"Something I rarely ever use, but it should do you some good." She smiled, pulling her wing back to her. "I used an Ancient Protection spell, a defensive spell that would protect you from whatever damage Sirfetch'd might give you. It's not gonna make you completely invulnerable, but it'll definitely make the hits not as strong as before."
"Huh...I guess that makes sense." Clemont scratched his chin, thinking that Harmony's spell would work out in the end. "Still, this is a risky move. If Harmony's protection spell wears off at any point, Ash is gonna be feeling the full force of that attack, which means..."
"I know what you mean, Clemont. But there's no need to worry! Everything will be fine!" Ash grinned, being confident that his Sirfetch'd would be able to get it down. "Now let's go! You can do this Sirfetch'd!" The trainer gave him a thumbs up, his way of encouraging his Pokemon.
"Fetch'd!" Sirfetch'd gave him one as well. "SIR!" He'd hold the leek sword up in the sky, letting the energy charge into it. It began to glow white as it slowly formed into the same aura around him. Ash would get ready, preparing himself for what's to come.
Harmony and Clemont watched from the sides as they were going to see the whole event unfold right in front of them. They watched as Sirfetch'd would charge forward to the trainer. The Pokemon's feet hit the ground, running as fast as possible while Ash braced himself.
"Here I come, Sirfetch'd!" The trainer cried. He stood his ground, ready to be struck by the Duck Pokemon. Harmony and Clemont watched, ready for anything that happened.
"Sir!" He ran up to his trainer, ready to swing his sword. His feet hit the ground with an incredible force as he came close to his trainer, preparing himself for his attack. "Fetch'd!" And once he was close enough, he'd swing his leek sword, hitting Ash directly.
Ash's body glowed with a bright light and was sent sliding back a bit from the hit. Sirfetch'd would watch as his trainer slid a bit on the floor, holding the area that was struck by Sirfetch'd. The Wild Duck Pokemon was ready to rush over to him and see if he was alright. But Ash just smiled, letting Sirfetch'd know that everything was alright.
"Ha...See! You've got this! If you just keep focusing on your opponent, your Sword and Shield will feell like they weight nothing!" He grinned. "Come on! Let's go again! One more time, but with extra power!"
Sirfetch'd's eye opened wide, feeling a bit inspired by his trainer. His willingness to help him out and his sheer tenacity. He didn't know why his trainer was doing all of this, but it gave him the strength and motivation to keep going. If his trainer was this dedicated to him, he needed to return the favor. With a nod, Sirfetch'd agreed and would go at his trainer once again with another Meteor Assault, striking him again.
And once again, Ash would be hit and he'd be slid back. But despite that, the trainer was still willing to keep on going. He'd have his Pokemon keep on striking him, hoping it would help him master the Meteor Assault. And it did seem to be helping him. Sirfetch'd would be striking him again, but the strikes seemed a lot less heavier, hitting with more accuracy and speed.
Sirfetch'd was making excellent process. He felt his skill improve. The more he did it, the more power was coming out and the better he was balancng himself.
Harmony found this so bizarre and Clemont just sighed. But Him, Bonnie, Pikachu and the others knew that this was how Ash was. As wild as his ideas may be, as crazy and reckless they are, it was how he got his results. That was just how his methods were.
They haven't failed him yet.
And just like that, with cheers from his friends and the other Pokemon, Sirfetch'd actually did it. With all his might, he managed to launch himself forward, his body enveloping in the powerful white energy. The white energy would turn to an orange, blazing color as Sirfetch'd's Meteor Assault was mastered. He hit Ash one more time, knocking the trainer down, but he got back up.
"Yeah!" He cheered, raising a fist in the air. He turned his attention back to his pokemon. "That's what I'm talking about, Sirfetch'd! You did it! Great work!" Ash would then fall down from exhaustion. He didn't want to say anything about it but he felt the effects of the spell wearing off, so each hit was starting to get stronger. Harmony and the others would quickly rush to him.
"Ash! Ash! You alright?! Are you hurt?!" Harmony cried in a worried tone, feeling the Fluttershy within her get concerned about him.
"I-I'm fine. It's nothing." He chuckled, getting up from the ground and wiping the dust off his shoulders.
"Great thinking, Ash!" Bonnie cheered, being just as hyped about the success as her friend. "I can't believe Sirfetch'd got it!"
"I know! It's amazing!" Clemont smiled, looking at Sirfetch'd who was proud of his success. "Well, we've gotta get you all fixed up now. Especially after that." The scientist grabbed him by his hand, lifting him up. "I don't know what was going through your head, Ash, but it worked! Good job, you two!"
All the Pokemon cheered, especially Dracovish. It loved the sight of it. So much so, it wished to replicate an attack like that. In fact, this whole time, it has bee nwatching Sirfetch'd's movements and picked up on them. While it didn't have proper limps or even a sword to use a move like Meteor Assault, learning from Sirfetch'd changed that.
Suddenly, a blue aura enveloped its entire body, the Pokemon's eyes widening as the aura formed around it, causing Ash and the others to watch as this happened. The blue light formed around the body and the head of the Pokemon before it charged at Sirfetch'd. Ash's Pokemon looked up in surprise as Dracovish began charging at him, its eyes narrowing. "Vish...! Draco!"
The Water-Dragon type charged forward and let out a powerful tackle with its entire, sending Sirfetch'd back in the process. Thanfully, Sirfetch'd blocked it with his shield. Ash quickly ran up to catch his Pokemon while the Dracovish's body glowed. It had just learned a brand new move. "What was that?" He turned to the others.
"That was Dragon Rush, Ash!" Harmony explained. "Dracovish saw the Meteor Assault and wanted to learn a move of its own, so it replicated it with the Dragon Type Variant! It learned Dragon Rush just like that!"
"All that from seeing the move be pulled off in such a short time?" Clemont said with astonishment.
"Dracovish...You wanna get stronger, don't you?"
"Draco!" The Fossl Pokemon nodded, wanting to grow as strong as Sirfetch'd and more. It was ready to take on anything that came in its path. "Alright then! Let's get you stronger! You and me, buddy! I've been thinking a lot about what kind of trainer I should become. But the only kind of trainer I can be is myself. So that's what I'm going to be. No one but me!"
"Vish!" The Dracovish smiled, liking the determination of its trainer and wanting to follow in his path. The others would give them looks of approval. Ash's methods of training and helping his Pokemon were always so strange. But that was the only method he knew and was willing to stick with it.
"We're ready for tomorrow. I just know it." Ash smiled, ready for Drasna and this Ultra Class Battle.
With all the training the two had gone through, plus Dracovish he believed they would succeed. And after that, it would be straight to Azoth for Flurry Heart's Pokemon as the journey continues.
