My Little Pokémon: Grander World
Moonspace
Previous ChapterNext ChapterUniverse 32. Many Years Ago. The BlueLight Mansion.
It was many years ago when the Professor found the BlueLight Sisters in this party city, leading up to the day he recruited the for their potential.
Soon, the Professor came to know the truth about these three sisters. He discovered that their parents abandoned them, running away from them and leaving the three young sisters to fend for themselves. It wasn't something that he was expecting, and it made him even more intrigued by the situation. They were living in a city that was full of wealth and privilege, and yet their parents had left them to fend for themselves. It was a mystery that he wanted to solve, and he was determined to get to the bottom of it.
"Abandoned by your own parents...in a city like this." The Professor said. "And for what reason? I can only assume there is one answer to that question...Could it be because of your Aura?"
"Aura?"
"That's right. The energy that flows within all things. You three have a special kind of Aura that I'm rather interested in."
"What's that mean?" Violet asked, tilting her head.
"I'll teach you all. But why is it that your parents fled? Surely they would be amazed and interested in such a wonderful type of Aura. I certainly am. It's why I came all the way to your universe to find you." The Professor said.
"..." The girls went silent afterwards. The memory of what their parents did was still fresh in their minds, and it was clear that they were still feeling the effects of their parents' abandonment. They were struggling to come to terms with what had happened, and they were finding it hard to move on.
"You need not worry. Whatever the reason, I can handle it. I have seen and experienced worse, believe me." He ensured.
"We...drained them." Flawless confessed. "We didn't mean to. We just wanted to play with our dolls." She looked at Violet and Phantasia, who were still holding on to their dolls. "Our dolls...came to life."
"Really now?" The Professor was intrigued. They had the ability to do so? "Please, continue. I want to know more."
"Well...we, uh...Violet used our Aura to make them move around...And when our parents saw us, we tried to show them the same thing but...they got scared and told us it was creepy...T-That our Aura was creepy and that we were...freaks. And then they ran away...and we never saw them again." She finished.
"I see. That is quite interesting. You can use your Aura to animate inanimate objects, and your parents ran away because they were scared. That is most intriguing." The Professor said. "That is an incredible ability, and it is a shame that your parents could not see that. They should have been proud of you, and they should have been there for you. Instead, they ran away and left you alone. That is not right, and it is something that we will have to address. Not to worry. I can see the potential in you three."
"You can...?"The three sisters were surprised. They had never met someone who was so interested in their Aura. The Professor seemed to be very knowledgeable, and he seemed to understand their powers better than anyone else. The sisters were curious about the Professor, and they wanted to learn more about him and his plans. They were willing to listen to what he had to say, and they were eager to see what he could teach them. This was an opportunity that they were not going to pass up. The Professor was a being of great knowledge and wisdom, and he had a plan that would benefit the sisters. He wanted to help them develop their powers and use them for good, and he was willing to do whatever it took to make that happen.
"But don't worry. I'm here to teach you how to use it properly. But first, there's something you must do. And that's to leave this world behind." The Professor said. "I am from another universe. I come from another world that is in grave danger from an outside force. I need your help to stop them. And in turn, you will become my student and learn everything you need to know about Aura. What do you say?"
"...Will we be heroes?" Flawless asked.
"Yes. You will be heroes. You will be saving an entire world from destruction. And in return, you will learn how to use your powers to the fullest." The Professor said.
"...Okay. We'll do it. For our sake." Flawless said.
"And ours too!" Both Phantasia and Violet agreed.
"Excellent. Then let's get started. We have a lot of work to do." The Professor said. "And I promise you that you will be able to use your powers to the fullest. You will be able to save the world, and you will be able to live a life of purpose and meaning. I promise you that."
And with that, the three sisters left their universe behind, and began a new life with the Professor. They were ready to learn everything they could about their powers, and they were eager to put them to good use. They were ready to save the world, and they were ready to make a difference. The Professor had given them a new purpose in life, and they were not going to waste it.
They were brought back to the Professor's world and immediately, were made students of the Arcane Institute. They had been taught how to use their Aura, and the Professor had made sure that they were able to use it to its fullest potential. They had been taught how to control their Aura, and how to use it to save the world.
The sisters were grateful for the opportunity, and they were eager to learn everything they could. They knew that they had a lot of work ahead of them, but they were determined to succeed. They were determined to make a difference in the world, and they were determined to prove themselves to the Professor. They had been given a chance to be something more, and they were not going to waste it.
"BlueLight Sisters, your Aura has improved exponentially since then. You've come so far, and I am truly proud of you three." The Professor said, looking down at them with pride. "You have done well in learning how to control it, and you have done well in using it to save the world. You have proven yourselves to be worthy of my trust, and I am grateful for that. You have earned my respect, and I am proud of you." He said, and the sisters felt a sense of pride and accomplishment in their hearts. They had done it.
But of course, due to this praise, this altered how they acted. It was subtle at first, but the BlueLight Sisters would eventually grow into a trio of highly confident and cocky mares.
In their dorm room. It was a spacious room with three beds, a desk, and a closet. The walls were a light blue, and the floor was a dark blue. There were posters of magical girls on the walls, and a few books on the desk.
Due to all that praise and recognition, they were able to purchase as much as they wanted with the Professor's money. As a result, they were able to get anything and everything that they desired. Their dorm was filled with expensive items, such as designer clothes, jewelry, and other luxury goods.
They had a huge collection of legendary unicorn merchandise, which was their favorite thing to collect. They also had a lot of books on the subject, which they used to study the different universes. They were able to get anything and everything that they wanted, and they were living the life of luxury. They had become the richest girls in the Arcane Institute, and they were able to get away with anything that they wanted.
"Life like this sure is sweet, girls." Flawless BlueLight commented as she was trying on a brand new outfit. A nice and shiny black dress that glimmered with a beautiful sparkle. She was looking at herself in the mirror, admiring her own beauty. "I mean, just look at us. We're the richest girls in the Institute now."
"You said it." Phantasia commented, also trying on a brand new outfit. A lovely red dress that was also shiny and sparkly. "We're, like, totally set for life. We have everything we could ever want. Money, power, and the best fashion in the multiverse. We're untouchable."
"Yeah. We're totally awesome." Violet added, wearing a blue dress that shined and sparkled. "We're the most powerful girls in the school. Well....minus her."
"Who? That Moonlight girl?" Phantasia asked. Forget about her. So what if she's the Chosen One and a natural Prodigy? She's started lucky with all that magic in her body. We lost everything back home compared to her and worked hard to get our Aura and Magic to this point."
"She's the Professor's favourite, no doubt. To be honest, since she's the Reincarnation of some Powerful Queen, I can't really dislike her all that much. But one thing's for sure..." Flawless hopped off her bed. "We'll outdo her. Everypony in this school thinks she'll be the one to stop Prisma from ever returning. Then, we'll be the Professor's Favorite. By extension, making us the best in every universe."
"I like the sound of that." Phantasia smirked. Violet giggled, greatly agreeing. The trio wished to be the best and the ones that defeat Prisma. They wanted to be at the top. After being at their lowest, they were reaching for the highest they can possibly go, and they were going to get there.
Listening to this conversation as the Professor, who was more than eager to see them eventually realize that goal. He wanted to see if they truly have what it takes to stop Prisma.
Universe 1. Kalos. The Nebel Plateau, Present Day. Late Afternoon.
"Yes, you three. Succeed in your goal. Snuff him out, if you have to and bring back Twilight Sparkle." The Professor finished reminiscing, commenting on the scenario that was projected before him, still having faith in the trio.
And now, they were doing just that. They had finally captured Ash Ketchum, and they were about to take him to the Professor. They were about to become the best in the multiverse, and they were going to prove to the Professor that they were the best.
"Alright. I think we've had enough fun." Flawless said, her horn glowing as she used her magic to lift the cage. "The longer we stay here, the more likely something goes wrong. We're leaving now."
"Right." Phantasia and Violet agreed. They were about to use their magic to transport themselves back to their world when they were interrupted.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pika...Chuuu!" Unleashing 100,00 volts from his body, Pikachu struck the cage with his Thunderbolt, aiming to break Ash free. The cage trembled under the attack, having parts of it shatter and disperse. However, the rest of it remained intact, having barely been damaged by the attack. The BlueLight Sisters were unharmed, as well.
"Grh...!" With enough force and time, Luna managed to stood tall despite the power within her being suppressed. She looked up and glared at the sisters. "Unhand him at once!"
"No matter. Something like this can be fixed. Like this~" The second Luna broke free, the Aura around her would be manipulated into an actual chain. The chains would wrap themselves around Luna's body and keep her from moving, eventually wrapping around her neck like a collar. It was Flawless BlueLight who was controlling this Aura, as she smirked. "Gotcha. And even though your magic's strong, you won't be able to use it as long as my chains are keeping you in place."
"Ngh...!" Despite that, she was still trying to use magic. Luna was struggling to break free of her restraints, and she was doing her best to stay on her feet.
"Hang on, Luna! If this stuff is made out of Aura, then..." Ash had a theory that he wanted to try. Going off instincts, he was going to use his Aura to counter-attack. He felt a surge of energy, his hands and eyes glowing with a bright light. He was going to use his own Aura to break the chains that were keeping him in place.
"Hm?" Phantasia spotted this, raising an eyebrow at it. "Hey!"
"Ngh...!" Gritting his teeth and letting his Aura flow some more, Ash managed to break free, dispersing the rest of the cage before the sisters could do anything else. Luna would do the same, shattering the chain with an expanding magical pulse.
Harmony tried breaking free next, relying on her vast pool of magic. With the power of five ponies within her, she managed to shatter the cage with a powerful burst of magical energy that sent a shockwave throughout the area. Harmony would soon breathe and out, the effects of the Flawless Aura still lingering.
All three of them managed to break free successfully.
"Hm. They passed t it." Flawless lightly scoffed, not impressed. "I mean, I was expecting that from Prisma at least. It wouldn't be much of a challenge, if you ask me. We'll have to turn up the Aura a bit more then."
"Ash. Go, now." Luna spoke to him. "Harmony and I will hold them off."
"Y-Yes. We'll deal with them. You just worry about getting out." Harmony added.
"You guys..." Ash uttered, not wanting to leave them behind. Not in all of this mess. But before anything else could be done, along came Twilight Sparkle, sliding across the ground. She had successfully blocked a beam from Twilight Moonlight who tried shoving her aside, trying to complete her mission. "Twilight!"
"Ugh..." Twilight Sparkle shook her head, regaining her composure. She looked up at the others before looking over at Twilight Moonlight, who descended with magic. "Moonlight, please! Can't you just listen to me for a while?! We're both the same pony, right?!"
"..." Twilight Moonlight was silent, but then spoke. "I refuse. You're just trying to slow me down. Not this time. This time, I absolutely refuse to listen to you or anyone from your world, or even hold back. Defend Prisma in any capacity and I will stop you with everything I have."
"Oooh. That's, like, a lot of big talk from you. Bigger than ever~" Violet said playfully.
"I can tell." Flawless BlueLight knew that Twilight was different from the first time she met her. Twilight Moonlight wasn't going easy like last time and actually meant it. "You're not gonna, like, hold back this time, are you?"
"Not for a moment. Even if it's against my own counterpart. This mission will be complete today." Twilight Moonlight strongly declared. The four girls of the Insitute faced the four alicorns and Ash, promptly taking out their Poke Balls. Ash was more than ready to engage, but Luna held his back, holding her hoof out in front of him.
"Ash, do-"
"You won't have to worry about holding him back, Luna." Twilight Moonlight suddenly interrupted her. "Enough time has passed. So all the preparations are in order. On this side of the planet, the Moon acts on its own without your interference, which only benefits me."
Right on cue, the Moon started rising. As the Sun finally left for the day, the Moon began its ascent and quickly reached the apex, its lunar glow bathing everyone below. As always, this would greatly benefit Twilight Moonlight, bringing out her full capabilities. But this was something more than that, as it was a specific kind of night. It wasn't a regular night. No. The Moon that hung in the sky this time around was different from the Moon Twilight usually drew upon.
This was the Full Moon, which would bring forth Twilight's best potential.
This gave her an overwhelming amount of energy to work with.
"None of you are leaving here. Gateway or not." Twilight Moonlight declared, closing her eyes as she felt the beauty of the Moon within her. And with full confidence, she spoke these next words that would change everything. A powerful spell that she could truly call her own. "Moonspace."
In an instant, a ripple emanated from her horn, spreading outward in all directions, as if the very air was bending under her spell’s influence. The atmosphere grew dense with energy, and the twilight glow intensified, painting everything in silver and indigo hues. The ground, once familiar, faded away, replaced by a smooth, endless landscape under a sky of sparkling stars, as though the earth itself had surrendered to the moon’s domain.
The moon above swelled in size, shining with an ethereal brilliance that blanketed everyone in a soft, silver radiance. Shadows deepened around them, becoming tangible, shifting like living beings. Each step echoed faintly, swallowed by the vast emptiness of the moonlit plane, and the air felt both cold and charged, like a silent warning.
Everyone within the Nebel Plateau found themselves caught in this ethereal web, disoriented and cut off from their immediate surroundings. Gone were the distant views, the distant mountains. They were in another realm entirely.
Kimia, Volcanion and the rest looked down in surprise to see their feet were suddenly standing on nothing at all, and their eyes widened in surprise. Even all the unicorns and Pokemon from the Arcane Institute were in disbelief at what just occurred.
Everyone in the Nebel Plateau were now in this Moonspace. A realm that Twilight Moonlight could call her own and the further extent of what she was capable of under the Full Moon. Even the BlueLight Sisters had to be impressed by this, whistling at how far she had gone.
"What is this?! Ash spoke in shock, looking around in wonder. The others were just as surprised. "Everything looks different. It's like...like we're in space or something!"
"Pika!"
"It is my own space. My Moonspace." Twilight Moonlight spoke, her aura shining a bright lunar silver, the same color as the Moon above. Her hair and mane sparkled as well.
"Ooh, looking good~!" Violet took the time to snap a photo.
"How beautiful." Phantasia said in awe.
"This is it? Your own pocket dimension?" Flawless asked. "Impressive. You've really outdone yourself."
"Enough talk. In here, I have as much power as I need. Don't be too surprised though, Sparkle, my counterpart. Twilight Luminaria was capable of this. You're just looking at another extension of her power." Twilight Moonlight declared.
"She's right...I recognize this realm!" Harmony, sadly, could confirm it. This was indeed the same power Twilight Luminaria had. And she would know. She's seen it prior to this.
Ash looked over at the vast horizon, seeing how far this Moonspace stretched out. Despite covering most of the Nebel Plateau, he also saw that it went a but it further, almost reaching the Azoth Kingdom. Ash also knew that with the Moonspace active, any usage of a gateway might be interfered with, sabotaging everyone here greatly.
In the distance, he could already see one gateway twitching and vibrating aggressively. Quickly, Ash ran, trying to warn the others. Pikachu gasped, promptly following his best friend.
"Pi? Pika-Pi!"
"Ah! He's getting away!" Violet shouted, pointing him out. She didn't hesitate, running in the same direction. "Not on my watch! You're not getting away that easily!"
"I got him." Twilight Moonlight calmly said, focusing her magic and pointing her horn. She fired a beam of lunar magic, aiming to snipe the boy. Luna quickly stopped this by jumping in front of the beam and using her own magic to block it. The blast exploded upon contact, creating a brief, yet powerful shockwave that scattered dust and rubble in all directions. Twilight Moonlight was mildly impressed, seeing as Luna was more than willing to fight back this time.
"We got him. You just handle these three for us,' kay?" Flawless said, levitating with her sisters as the trio started pursuing Ash, leaving Twilight Moonlight to handle the three alicorns. Well, one, actually. Luna and Harmony flew off, leaving Twilight Sparkle behind to deal with Twilight Moonlight alone.
"Got it." Twilight Moonlight replied as the BlueLight Sisters left. She turned to look at her counterpart. "Once I defeat you, there won't be much left to stop me. So, let's see if you're really dedicated to foiling me, my counterpart."
"Moonlight..." Twilight said with a bit of a gulp. "If I can't talk it out of you, then a Pokemon Battle might do the trick. Eve."
"Esp!" Espeon snarled at Moonlight, who held out her Poke Ball.
"Fine then. Appear! Samurott!" With a flash of light, Moonlight's Hisuian Samurott emerged from her Poke Ball. It let out a roar, ready for battle. Espeon and Samurott faced off, ready to battle.
Twilight Moonlight's intimidating words from before held true. Not just about her Moonspace, but the preparations she spoke of. Enough time had passed for it to be finally used here. The Crystals that trapped the souls of everyone from the Dream Universe to be exact. Once more, it was active. This artificial machine would be deployed, slowly descending from the clouds and shining brightly.
Kimia looked up in shock and horror, witnessing this massive crystal structure descend. Her jaw dropped in surprise and her eyes widened. Raleigh and all those who came from the gateway reacted in the same way while the Institute's forces smiled, knowing what was coming next.
"Too much time is passing, to be honest." The Professor spoke while wathcing this. "While Twilight Moonlight has done an excellent job at summoning her Moonspace, effectively blocking out any chance of escape, we cannot risk even the slightest instance of Ash Ketchum or even Twilight Sparkle slipping by. The Soul Crystal will ensure that. To let them all know the type of force their dealing with, all the souls that are opposing us at the Nebel Plateau will be stored within. And as an extra warning...all those in the Azoth Kingdom as well.
The machine was online and the Crystal began to shine. Just as the Professor wanted, everyone in the Azoth Kingdom would have their souls trapped. There was a sudden burst of light that expanded, and the crystal began to shine. Suddenly, everyone's body started to turn white. Kimia watched in horror, realizing what was about to happen. She tried to move but found herself frozen, her body being turned into a white marble. The others were in the same predicament.
Soon, every single soul in the Azoth Kingdom was stored within, leaving everyone as a lifeless statue. Their bodies would all fall over, motionless. Only a handful of people, who were able to react in time to the Crystal's power activating, were able to avoid having their souls taken away. But for how long?
Sensing this was Harmony, who came to a screeching halt immediately. Luna did as well, having sensed this. Eyes turned to the sight all the way at the Azoth Kindom, witnessing a menacingly bright light ash over it.
Without saying anything else, Harmony reacted on instinct, wanting to protect everyone else here from the coming terror. This meant ceasing her pursuit of the BlueLight Sisters and also ceasing her plan to shrink her opponents. She had a new priority in mind.
"Princess Luna! Keep the BlueLight Sisters away from Ash! I'm going to stop this from spreading here!" She shouted.
"A-Alright!" Luna replied as she and the BlueLight Sisters kept pursuing Ash, leaving Harmony behind. She focused her magic on protecting the souls of everyone here in the Plateau, making sure they stayed in tact.
"Stop!" She shouted as a burst of magical energy erupted from her horn, sending waves of magical energy throughout the plateau. The waves expanded and spread, forming a protective shield around all those in the area. The Soul Crystal's light was approaching menacingly, washing over the rest of the land in an effort to capture the souls of everyone here, as ordered by the Professor.
Harmony had to keep the barrier intact, focusing all of her power. The Soul Crystal's power washed over it, threatening to break through. Harmony kept her concentration, using every ounce of her magical energy. She felt her power being drained as the Soul Crystal continued to assault her barrier, trying to break through.
Luna had to leave it up to Harmony. Now, it would be just her and the BlueLight Sisters. The Princess of the Night knew she wouldn't be alone tough. By holding out a Poke Ball, she called upon one of her Pokemon as assistance. "Darkrai! I need your-"
But she was stopped. Struck by a sneak attack from below, Luna's wings were clipped by a powerful beam. Straight from Delight herself, who stood under her. Luna's eyes shrank, having not seen it coming at all.
"Luna?!" Ash took notice of this, his movements slowing as he came to a screeching halt.
"Pika!"
Luna let out a scream of pain. The attacks struck her with full force, and her body trembled from the impact. Luna's eyes widened as the world around her began to spin. The ground rushed up to meet her as Luna felt herself falling through the air, the sky above blurring together. The last thing she remembered was the pain and the shock, before the world around her turned to black and her body hit the ground with a thud. Darkrai was unable to come to her aid in time, as her Poke Ball fell to the ground, bouncing off the cold hard surface. Ash's concern for Luna was immediate, his eyes widening as he saw her falling to the ground, and he knew he had to help her.
But the BlueLight Sisters wouldn't give him the opportunity. Ash and Pikachu turned their heads in time to see Flawless, Phantasia and Violet coming for him. "We won't let you go, Prisma." Phantasia said. "And don't worry, the Professor has something in mind that's a lot less violent. But still..."
"You'll have to come with us." Flawless said, continuing the statement for Phantasia. "Okay, handsome?!"
With Luna injured, Twilight occupied, the Moonscape active, Giant Pokemon running around and the emergence of the Soul Crystal, this first mission for One Light was looking to be an imminent disaster while the Arcane Institute were looking at an absolute victory. In this instance, only one side could emerge as the victor as the journey continues.
