Equestria. The City of the Night Sky. Nightfall.

The City of the Night Sky.

A massive location that was recently returned to the world. As the name suggests it was considered a Giga-City that was filled with hundreds of thousands of buildings and towers, most of which are made from gold, silver, platinum, and other precious metals. There are a large number of parks and gardens throughout the city. Many of the streets and plazas are lined with beautiful statues, monuments, and works of art. In the center of the city was a vast lake that reflects the stars in the sky at night. At its heart was the Royal Palace, a magnificent structure that was the main building of the entire place.

When it was once in the nation of Unilight, it represented a hub of magical study and scientific discovery, dedicated to the exploration of cosmic energies and the advancement of the arcane arts.

Its skyline was dotted with soaring towers and observatories, designed to harness the energy of the cosmos for the benefit of its citizens. The City of the Night Sky was a shining jewel of knowledge and innovation, a beacon of enlightenment that illuminated the path to the future. Within its halls resided the works of the brightest minds of the naton, united in their quest to push the boundaries of what was possible. Scholars, magic experts, and scientists collaborated in harmony, their combined efforts fueling an era of outstanding achievements.

Now, in the current timeline, the City of the Night Sky was controlled by Twilight Luminaria and the Arcane Institute. With their arrival in this dimension, they sought to establish their headquarters in a place that mirrored their ideals and ambitions. This was the ideal setting to prepare their plans for the final phase of their goal.

Twilight Luminaria was already getting memories of this city when looking at it. This whole place was lesser than the main capitol of Unilight, but it was important to the nation. She looked around the streets, gazing at the night-sky textures on the ground. While she wasn't the type to feel nostalgic, this was one of the few times she felt that way, remembering her younger days.

But she could care less about that. All she cared about was stopping Prisma. But as Twilight Luminaria was approaching the main palace, she rememebered everything that Delia had read ffrom the book. Since Twilight Sparkle heard about Selene's story, so did Twilight Luminaria. Even she was unable to open the book back then, so it was rather intriguing that Delia could.

And when thinking about it, her mind focused on the truth of why there were so many resets. It made her stop for a while, thinking for a moment. But it did not change the Queen's mind. In her eyes, what Prisma did was unforgivable and he was too far gone to change anything. She sympathized with him on a certain level, but his actions were inexcusable. So, to her, the only option left was to make sure that he didn't exist in the first place, no matter what.

"Your Majesty." Professor Grogar approached her. "All the necessary preparations have been made."

"That's good to hear. What about the students of the institute?" The Queen asked. "Will you be bringing them here or letting them continue their mission."

"I've decided to let them continue, but if you want, I can call them to arrive here. Thankfully, I can always find the reincarnations of Prisma, no matter how hard they try and hide."

"Good. As for everyone else, their souls have been affected as well. The rest of my citizens should awaken and come to me, aiding us in the process. They can try and resist, but eventually, they'll awaken regardless." Twilight Luminaria said, standing atop a podium. She already had a few residents here after using the spell to bring some of them back into existence, but it wasn't enough to populate this massive city or any other location that has been brought back.

Her citizens were still waking up, soon to aid her in the fight against Prisma and his counterparts. "Now. We have a lot of work to do. I have a lot of catching up. The main capitol itself is out there, somewhere. That's our next objective. To find that city and restore it to its former glory, or better. Outside of the palace itself, eeverything valuable we need is Once we have that, we can move onto the last stage of the plan."

"Understood." He bowed. "I'll get to work on that immediately, Your Majesty." With that, he walked off, leaving the queen to her thoughts.

With that, the two would go their separate ways, with Grogar planning ahead and the Queen preparing to take back what was once hers.

Across the world, locations were stil appearing out of existence, disturbing many regions and lands, no matter where. Several places from the Lost Universe had emerged in the wilds, from the forests to the mountains to the oceans. But the spell did more than just that. The areas that already existed in this universe were undergoing changes. They used to exist in the Lost Universe, but had different looks to them. Whether minimal or massive.

And because of this, these areas started shifting and morphing, taking on their original appearances from the previous world, even if they looked similar. The entire region of Alola, for example, was the exact same place in the Lost Universe, except a bit smaller.

Because of the spell, however, the landmass grew, expanding outward in a circular pattern. Each island in the archipelago had grown larger, increasing the overall size of the Alola Region. The islands had become bigger, allowing more space for the inhabitants to live on. From the towns and cities to the jungles and forests to the beaches and shorelines, everything had expanded, becoming much larger and expansive.

Kanto and Johto were now a single continent, connecting to each other and forming a singular landmass, like in the lost universe. The two regions had merged, resulting in a single, continuous landscape. This merger had caused significant shifts in the geography of the area, creating a new and unique environment that blended the features of both Kanto and Johto. Mountains, rivers, and other natural landmarks had shifted and reconfigured, creating a vastly altered terrain that was both familiar and foreign to the inhabitants of the region.

"Oh, my!" Delia looked outside her window. She saw that the town of Pallet had grown, and was no longer the small little peaceful town she knew, but a giant city that was as big, maybe bigger, than Castelia City. The parts of the small town were still there, but the even larger parts of the city were right next to it, towering over everything.

Sinnoh fared no better. The Spell was affecting the region, changing the landscape. Not only were the buildings transforming, but the very landmass itself. Sinnoh was becoming bigger, expanding outward in a circular pattern. Mt. Coronet was the centerpiece of this expansion, growing taller and wider, its peak piercing the clouds and reaching higher into the heavens.

Around the mountain, the three lakes of Sinnoh were also expanding. They were getting larger, their waters flowing outward and filling in the newly created spaces. The canals that connected the lakes were widening, creating a network of interconnected waterways that stretched across the region. Snowpoint City had also changed, the snowfall had increased significantly, turning the once temperate climate into a wintry wonderland. The snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains had grown, their icy summits glittering in the sun.

Sunyshore City, on the other hand, was experiencing the opposite transformation. The once industrial city had transformed, its factories and power plants replaced by gigantic green parks and botanical gardens. Solar panels were being installed on every rooftop, and wind turbines had sprung up along the coast, harnessing the natural energy of the region.

Lastly, the Distortion World was beginning to bleed into the physical realm, its eerie landscapes and twisted geometry seeping through the cracks in reality. Strange creatures were emerging from the rifts, their forms distorted and unsettling, a harbinger of the chaos that was to come.

Giratina roared at this change, irritated by the sudden alteration. Out of every problem he's seen thus far, this was beyond anything else. His own Distortion World was leaking out into the world itself.

The same was happening in Kalos, and Unova, and Hoenn. In the latter, the entire region had changed. It had become much larger, stretching outwards in a circular pattern.

Like Alola and the others, the land had grown. Each of the cities in the region had undergone a metamorphosis, their architecture and infrastructure evolving to match the new, grander scale. Mauville City had expanded, its towering skyscrapers rising high above the surrounding landscape. Fortree City had also seen significant growth, its treetop houses and bridges spreading outwards, creating a vast, interconnected canopy.

No matter where, no area was safe from the spell, as it was slowly altering the landscape of the Pokemon worlds, forever changing them to their previous states from the Lost Universe. As such, the population was also starting to increase, with the people from the past starting to return and awaken.

"AAAAGH!" And back to those who felt their souls affected, Ponyville's residents, every last one of them, seemed to have a soul of someone from the Lost Universe. Even those just visting were affected. Rarity quivered on the floor along with Sweetie Belle.

Applejack and her family rolled around. Pinkie Pie, Mr. and Mrs. Cake, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Big Macintosh, and even Rainbow Dash and her own family, were feeling their bodies ache. Their hidden souls were awakening. Everypony and anyone in the vicinity were having their souls awakened, and thus were forced to recall their memories from the past incarnations.

They remembered themselves living in the Kingdom of the Sun, Moon and Stars, the capitol of the nation of Unilight. But at the same time, the pain was aching their minds. They could hardly breathe, trying to remember and keep sane. Everyone was on the ground, not a single pony could stand or even look at the situation at hand. This was not an event that was pleasant.

Even the teachers were in the mix, not knowing how to deal with this situation. There was no escape, not a chance of survival. Everyone was trapped within their own bodies, unable to move or act, or do anything else but suffer from the pain and torment of the soul awakening.

"Hah...Hah...!" At the Changeling Hive, Chryalis keeled over. Her body ached, and she couldn't stop herself from falling to her knees. "W-what...is h-happening?!"

"Your Highness?! Are you okay?!" Thorax asked, approaching the Queen. His expression was filled with worry. He was scared. He'd never seen her like this before, and he could feel her fear radiating off of her. All the other changelings were in the mix too, their souls awakening and their bodies aching in agony.

None of the changelings were exempt from this process, and their screams and cries echoed throughout the hive. They were in a state of pure misery, and it was hard to watch, especially for Thorax and the Queen. But despite that, the two could only look on in horror. The Queen was in so much pain, she couldn't even speak. Thorax tried to help her, to comfort her, but he couldn't do anything.

"W-What is happening?" Thorax was exempt from this, being one of the few who didn't have the soul of someone from the Lost Universe. As such, he could only watch in concern, worried about the wellbeing of his mother figure. He had to think of something quick to make sure that she didn't die or anything worse. But at the moment, all he could do was hope that his friends were alright.

However, despite this pain, there would be those to quell it. At Ponyville, Azurelia was completely exempt from this. She wasn't of this universe whatsoever. Not only that, she didn't even have a former incarnation. So the effects of the world-changing had no effect on her. She was an outsider, and an unknown. In fact, she knew nothing of what was going on.

"Harmony! What's happening to you and everyone?!" Azurelia asked her fellow alicorn.

"The spell...Her Majesty has used that spell..." Harmony took deep breaths. Despite being her own seperate entity, she was still connected to five members of the Mane 6. She wouldn't awaken since since was already her as her true self, but that didn't mean she woudn't feel the pain of her reincarnations. "Their souls are being awakened. They are no longer in a dormant state. Everyone, no matter the species, will be fully awakened."

Azurelia wasn't sure what that meant, but one thing was for sure, she didn't want everyone to suffer. Since she was the only one unaffected by this, Azurelia decided to do something about this. The Daughter of Celestia and Cobalion closed her eyes, taking a deep breath

"What are you doing?" Harmony asked her. She could see a glow emanating from the alicorn, a blueish aura that started to expand outward, covering the entirety of Ponyville. The Bluish Aura was soon mixed with some beautiful Gold, the magic spreading rapidly across the town.

"Oough..." Applejack groaned, feelng this soothing magic wash over her. The way it felt, it felt like all the times she rested in the best bed possible after a hard day of work. "...I'm..."

"I'm feeling better..." Sweetie Belle said, sitting up. Soon, many ponies in the town did the same. Their aches, their pains, their headaches, the memories, their souls, were calmed down by the soothing magic. Most ponies would sit on their rumps, holding their heads. "Who did that?"

No matter the size of the town, Azurelia could easily reach it, even getting her magic inside of buildings. Everyone in the vicinity could feel the relaxing and calming sensation. Even the Pokemon animals, and the plants were affected. Everything in the area was surrounded by the warm, healing energy that came from the alicorn, who was the daughter of another Princess Celestia. The entire land would be bathed in the soft, gentle light that radiated from her. It was as if the whole place was enveloped in a warm, loving embrace.

But she did more than just soothe them. Azurelia even managed to restrict locations from manifesting in Ponyville. Her magic was so powerful that she was able to prevent other buildings and structures from appearing out of nowhere. She's also managed to slow the expansion of the city and its infrastructure, preserving the original character and layout of the town. This was no easy task, and was a great feat of magic.

With that, Azurelia was done, and the glowing stopped. "Ugh..." Harmony shook her head while standing up. "You...You actually stopped the process?"

"Whew..." Azurelia sighed, wiping her forehead. "That could've been ugly..."

"You actually stopped the spell!" Harmony would suddenly zoom over to Azurelia, bumping her nose with hers, startling the Pony-Pokemon Hybrid.

"Y-Yeah." Azurelia stuttered. She looked at the alicorn. She could see a wide smile on her face, almost reaching her ears. It was obvious that she was very grateful.

"But that's imposssible...A spell like that is nearly unbreakable. Only the caster of the spell could stop its effects." She pondered. "How could you have stopped the spell from affecting everyone in Ponyville? I mean, the Reverie of Revival Spell is one of the most powerful and complex spells in existence. It defies existence itself and warps it to its image. Once cast, the spell cannot be reversed once activated. This is why the spell is considered to be irreversible." Harmony then got a big smile on her face.

"Really?" Azurelia blinked.

"I sensed your magic earlier and I knew it was big. But I didn't know it was that big." She gasped, coming upon a realization. "Maybe you can solve the Prisma issue for us! If you can bypass a spell like this, maybe you're the one who can quell Prisma's soul!"

"Me?!" Azurelia was surprised. "Hold on! I don't know about that!"

"Don't doubt yourself. Come on, let's keep going." Harmony grabbed the alicorn, running off to the direction of the capital of Equestria. "Trust me. You can do it."

"Wait, wait, hold on, wait a minute! Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Azurelia was taken away, heading to the castle. She couldn't believe what was happening. She didn't know if she could really stop Prisma, but she was willing to try. The two of them had a lot to talk about, and the future was uncertain. But she was confident that together, they could make a difference. They had to. "W-Wait!"

Canterlot.

As for the City of Unilight itself, there was only one location it could be found at. The only location equal to its importance. Canterlot. And speaking of Canterlot, Princess Celestia herself managed to soothe her own soul, using a spell that would stop the pain and the awakening. She did the same for her subjects, and the students of the Pokemon School. However, the rest of the kingdom, and the world, would still feel the effects, but would soon not feel anything. For now, they would witness the transformation of the world, and the universe.

Outside, she saw it manifest. The largest city in existence. A metropolis that stretched to the sky. Buildings that towered to the heavens, bigger than any of the tallest skyscrapers in the modern era. The roads and highways were packed with advanced vehicles, both scientific and magical. She could only see it from her balcony, but even from this angle, Celestia already new she was starting at an absolute juggernaut.

And much like some places, it brought back some lost residents, filling the streets with their presence, every last one of them loyal to Queen Twilight Luminaria. With the city finally returning, Unilight Lives.

"So then it's happening...At this rate, everything will become completely unrecognizable."

As the journey continues.
