The Great Clash in the Sky

"Ugh!" Falling out of the vortex, Twilight Wish ended up in Unilight's main city, tumbling on the floor and scraping her skin. She found herself right in front of the hooves of Professor Grogar. The old ram had a pleased smirk on his face, happy to see her at last.
"Well, well, looks like my servant did a fine job." Grogar boasted.
"Ngh..." A weakened Twilight Wish looked up at him, completely powerless.
At that moment, Galaxy Master and the other Pokemon burst from the portal, landing on the ground. "Excellent work, Galaxy Master. Recruiting you was a genius play on my part. You truly are a hero." Grogar chuckled while the Fictional Character stayed silent. "You've been a slippery one. That castle of yours was a pain to find. But now here you are. Ready to have your soul return to our Queen."
"Ough..." Twilight Wish raised her hoof, only for it go back down. And speaking of Twilight Luminaria, here she came, walking over to her reincarnation, lifting her head up. "Twilight...?" Twilight Wish looked up, seeing the visage of Twilight Sparkle. But she soon realized that it wasn't here. Merely Luminaria inhabiting her body. "You're not her..."
"I know for a fact you put up a good fight. You're tougher than you look. As to be expected from one of my reincarnations. But...You have to return to me. We both want to stop Prisma and there's no better way of doing it than uniting as one." Luminaria held her hoof out.
"The way you want to do it...would break the heart of another! And so many others!" Twilight Wish yelled while groaning. "I refuse to let that happen! Not in the slightest!"
"I understand what you mean. But unfortunately, I just can't let you get in the way of this. Now...enough talk. Return to me at once." Twilight Luminaria ordered. And this time, she wouldn't need any help from Professor Grogar or anyone else to bring Twilight Wish back into her. Now, she had the power to do it herself, and the amount of magical energy around her was enormous, covering her entire body in a pinkish aura.
"Ngh!" Twilight Wish groaned as she felt the energy surrounding her and dragging her towards Twilight Luminaria, the latter's eyes glowing brightly. "Aaaaaah!"
But her pleas fell on deaf ears, her cries of anguish ringing through the air. Twilight Wish was consumed by the overwhelming magic, her physical form slowly disappearing as sparkling particles that would flow into Twilight Luminaria. Her scream echoed in the air until her voice finally faded into nothingness, and her existence was no more, having been assimilated into the entity that is Twilight Luminaria.
And once she entered her, Twilight Luminaria was suddenly undergoing a transformation. Her body would glow, and her mane and tail would flow in a breeze, turning a gaining a new colour . Her coat would change color as well, and the energy would envelop her entirely, becoming a large and shining orb that would rise high into the skies. After a few moments, the light would begin to fade, and a figure would emerge, descending from the heavens.
It was none other than Twilight Luminaria, her body changed and her soul fused with another part of hers. She had absorbed her counterpart's essence, gaining her memories, feelings and experiences, further enhancing her own powers and abilities. She had become stronger, more capable, and even closer to her ultimate goal.
Due to bringing Twilight Wish back to her, her body now mixed the colours of Twilight Sparkle and Twilight Wish as one, creating a mixture of purple and pink. Her coat was still mainly resembling of Twilight Sparkle the moste. She was also much taller, standing at the height of a dragoness, and her magical potential had grown exponentially, making her a force to be reckoned with, her magical presence could be sensed far and wide. All in all, she was an imposing and awe-inspiring figure.
"Hah...Much better. I've already felt another chunk of my magic return to me." She said to herself, a smirk forming on her face. "If the process of gathering myself is this exhilarating, then the end will be euphoric. All that's left is Moonlight and my human reincarnation." She would turn to Professor Grogar.
"You need not worry about that one. The latter is being pressured by my Arcane Institute. She won't have anywhere left to run, all thanks to Alpha. She is truly tenacious. But as for Twilight Moonlight..."
"Oh, I think it'll be easy to get a hold of Twilight Moonlight. I'll go after her myself. As for my human self, pursue her at once in case Alpha struggles. Take Galaxy Master with you." Twilight Luminaria ordered. With a nod, Grogar would get ready to set out to the next universe.
Due to the damage Alpha had done, the Crown Tundra was a mess, covered in darkness from both land and sky. And at the outskirts of the Crown Tundra, now leaving it were Ash and Sci-Twi. They left the area behind, currently heading for the last counterpart. That being Victor. Ethan knew where he was, specifically a place he loves to hang out in Galar.
"This should be a good enough spot. We're out of Alpha's sight right now." Ash came to a halt, holding a Poke Ball out. "Reshiram! I choose you!" Tossing the ball, the Vast White Pokemon materialized. Reshiram let out a roar as it stood in front of the two Trainers, ready to carry them to Galar. The two climbed up, sitting on top of the dragon before the Legendary would spread its wings and take off.
"I'll stay behind and help everypony else out back at Freezington! Good luck!" Applejack said to him.
"Alright! We've got one place to head to." Ash said as Sci-Twi held onto him tightly. "You said it's somewhere around Wyndon, Ethan?"
"Yeah! Just follow my lead!" Ethan said while floating next to Reshiram.
"Got it! Full speed ahead, Reshiram!" Ash pointed ahead as Reshiram was already off. With a powerful take off, he left the ground at high speeds, following Ethan's lead.
Alas, this did not escape the eyes of Alpha, especially not while she was still a massive Shadow Being, towering over the mountains and watching her foes leave the Crown Tundra. Her shadowed form was a dark contrast to the bright and snowy landscape, her movements slow and deliberate. She was focused on her targets, the ones who had eluded her grasp and were now fleeing.
"I see you! You won't escape!" As her opponents fled the scene, Alpha's form began to change a little bit. From her back, with a bit of effort, shadow wings would manifest, being absolutely massive in size as they spread dark particles across the landscape. Without a moment's hesitation, the transformed Alpha took to the skies, her shadowed figure blending seamlessly with the dark storm clouds overhead.
"Eeee!" Sci-Twi shrieked and grimaced at the sight of Alpha approaching. More and more, she was getting the hang of the magic that was within her, improving as time goes on.
"Man, she's persistent!" Ethan said while looking back.
"Hey, Ash! Let me take control for a bit! I'll battle alongside Reshiram!" "Hilbert's spirit appeared, wanting to take the wheel an battle with his own Pokemon.
"You got it!" Ash agreed to it and immediately allowed Hilbert control. This was shown by Hilbert going back into Ash and immediately, a white light would flare out of Ash's body. Nothing about Ash change at all, aside from the fact that his eyes were glowing a bit, signifying Hilbert's control.
"Hoo-hoo! Feels good to move as always! Alright, Reshiram! Light her up! Use Fusion Flare!" Hilbert grinned, raising his arm. Reshiram would turn around, flying backwards while facing Alpha and charging a blazing orb in its mouth, firing it at the Shadowy Being. The orb travelled through the air at high speeds, burning through the clouds in its way.
"You wish! Gardevoir!" Alpha called upon her Gardevoir, who was on her back the entire time.
"Voir!" The Embrace Pokemon would use Dazzling Gleam, conjuring up a plethora of rainbows that would crash into the Fusion Flare. She barely managed to match its strength, putting her all into it.
An explosion of great intensity would occur, causing the two to be blown away from each other. Reshiram remained in the air, flapping its wings quickly. Meanwhile, Alpha's Shadow Wings were barely moving, instead, a lot of her movement was provided by the shadows of the world, propelling her forwards as her wings simply kept her in the skies, not needing to do anything to help her levitate. But because of the blast, she was set back quite a bit, giving Reshiram and the others the chance to create some distance between them.
"Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!" Hilbert called out to Ash's Pikachu.
"Pika...!" Pikachu would stand on top of Hilbert's head. "...Chuuu!" It would unleash a massive amount of electricity at Alpha, forming her to shoot shadows back at it. The shadows and lightning would clash, creating sparks everywhere before the shadows would overpower the Thunderbolt. Gardevoir joined in, unleashing Dazzling Gleam to back up her trainer.
The skies lit up with the clash of Lightning, Shadows and Rainbows, creating a spectacle that could be seen from afar. Pokemon from down below just minding their business would look up at this tremendous spectacle in the sky. They watched as the lights dance across the sky, the power struggle between the Trainer and the Shadow Being was evident.
Alpha would cast a spell, mainly using one of Galela's spells, summoning a massive serpent made of ancient symbols and shadows, its form a writhing mass of darkness that moved swiftly and sinuously. Its eyes glowed a malevolent red, and its fangs were sharp and dripping with venom.
It rapidly approached Reshiram with its mouth wide open, spewing out some poisonous shadows at the Vast White Pokemon. Luckily, Reshiram was quick on its feet, so to speak, and would avoid the attack, taking to the sky and then coming from above. "Use Dragon Claw!" Hilbert shouted. Reshiram would raise its claw, covering it in draconic energy and slamming the serpent's skull, crushing its head. The serpent would screech before dispersing into multiple shadow pieces, vanishing from sight.
Moving through these dispersing shadows was Gardevoir, who would teleport forward to close the distance. Upon appearing even closer, she went to use Psychic Reshiram, attempting to slow down his movements. The Dragon of Truth felt a telekinetic hold, and was slowed, but not completely stopped.
"Ah! Reshiram!" Hilbert gasped, noticing Reshiram's sudden sluggish movements. Alpha was not finished yet, she was far from done. She was preparing a Shadow Spell, one that would manipulate the clouds themselves. With a deep breath, she unleashed her spell, and the clouds were enveloped in a sinister, black fog, shrouding the area in darkness. This would allow her to quickly swarm the skies in an inky-black substance, intending on limit the space they could fly to. "What is all that?!" Hilbert wondered, his eyes widening as he saw the dark, menacing clouds approach.
"It looks like a way to trap us!" Appearing as a spirit was Brendan, noticing what the shadows were doing. He was analyzing the situation, and from his perspective, the shadows were closing in on them. "Hold on! I'll take over from here!" Brendan would be the next to possess Ash's body, the white glow overtaking the boy's body once more. Now, Brendan was in control. "Go, Metagross!"
"Metagross!" Metagross materialized in front of its trainer, levitating in the air. Metagross then looked at Gardevoir, who was responsible for holding Reshiram's movements back.
"Metagross! Use Meteor Mash!" Brendan commanded.
"Ta! Meta!" Without a word, Metagross would float towards the Fairy-Type at a rapid pace, its claws beginning to shine a bright orange.
Gardevoir noticed the Steel and Psychic Type approaching, and was not about to let itself be defeated. Still keeping her mental grip on the dragon, Gardevoir would also begin to shine a blue hue, the same one that was being used to keep a hold of the larger pokemon. Gardevoir's Psychic was powerful enough to stop a few seconds, allowing her to launch a barrage of Dazzling Gleam at Metagross. However, her attempt to push Metagross away only caused its own power to increase, and the Iron Leg Pokemon would soon break free from the psychic grip, rushing towards its target and connecting its claw with a mighty blow.
This was enough to send Gardevoir flying, and it smashed against Alpha's chest. Her aura was able to protect her from the hit, so neither of them were injured, but the strike was strong. "You...!"
Thanks to this, Reshiram was free to move once more, no longer restrained. And immediately, he would use Blue Flare on the shadows in the distance and within the clouds. His flames would incinerate the darkness and burn the clouds, clearing the skies of the inky blackness, leaving the sky clear and open for them to escape. Reshiram would continue to fly at high speeds, intending on getting away from the duo. Unfortunately, the damage was still there, having been inflicted by the serpent earlier. Despite that, the group was able to escape successfully.
"...No matter! You won't get away!" The Soul Clone would roar, her voice letting out a pressure so great it was the reverse of a hurricane. It started pulling them backwards. Everyone would feel the effects, feeling a tug and a heavy strain on their bodies. "Whoa, what the--!" Ethan stuttered, not expecting this sort of technique to be thrown at them. It was so great that even affected his spirit body. "What is this?!"
"Push back, Metagross! Use Psychic, too!" Brendan exclaimed. Metagross focused and released a powerful wave of energy, countering the force that was dragging them back. However, despite the power, it wasn't enough.
"M-Meta...!" Metagross was pushed back a bit, the strain was starting to overwhelm the Iron Leg Pokemon. As a result, the others were forced to go back, the winds continuing to push against them.
"That pull is something else...!" Brendan growled.
"Then we just need something more! Swap with me, Brendan!" Nate's voice rang out, his spirit appearing and making eye contact with his fellow reincarnation. Brendan nodded in response, and a flash of white light engulfed Ash's body, signalling the change in control. Ash's demeanor shifted, and his eyes glowed briefly, indicating that Elio had taken the helm. Immediately, Nate took charge, his expression determined. "Alright! You're up, Zekrom!"
To assist Reshiram, Nate felt it was only right to bring out his other self, the Deep Black Dragon himself. He emerged in a burst of lightning, charging forward to aid his fellow dragon. Together, they flew ahead, side by side. At that moment, the two dragons combined their powers, creating a brilliant display of Plasma. By combining Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt, both dragons generated an enormous ball of pure energy, resembling a small sun.
Alpha looked on in awe at this mini sun that was radiating plasma. Gardevoir quickly got in front of her trainer, already thinking of using Mega Evolution. There was no way she could stop that thing in her current state, so to compensate, a Mega Evolution would be needed, especially since her opponent was a Legendary Pokemon.
"Gardevoir!" With a nod of her head, Gardevoir was encased in a pink bubble, her shape shifting and morphing until her new appearance came to be. Alpha was smart to use it as quickly as possible, having one of the shadows initiate the process.
The Mega Evolved Gardevoir pointed its staff at the incoming sphere. Then, a massive beam of rainbow colored light would shoot from the staff's jewel, a blast of immense proportions, colliding with the sphere that was made of the two powerful attacks.
"G-GARDE...!" She struggled, pushing herself to the limit. Even in her Mega Evolved form, she could barely contend with the might of the combined abilities. The pressure was overwhelming, forcing her to grit her teeth in determination. Alpha supported her partner, using the shadows to try and push them back. At the same time, Reshiram and Zekrom used this as a chance to continue onwards while they were distracted by the attack.
"I won't...I won't let you escape!" Alpha determination to ensure that they were captured was truly spectacular. In an effort to prevent the group from escaping, the Soul Clone would leave behind another Shadow Husk of herself, letting it linger in place, helping Gardevoir hold back the attack. She then left the husk, continuing to fly after the group, but at a slower pace due to the amount of strength she was pouring into the attack, hoping to cancel the entire thing out.
"Curses! I can't keep up at this speed...!" Alpha growled, knowing she wasn't fast in this state. Her Giant Self would've been far more effecient but it was currently assisting Gardevoir. "I can't fail here...Not now!"
"You won't have to worry about failing, Alpha." Suddenly, a familiar voice rung in her ears. It was the voice of Grogar.
Suddenly, in front of them all, something would open. It was none other than a gateway. And a massive one at that. Reshiram, Metagross and Zekrom all came to an immediate halt, not expecting to see this portal opening. They had to stop, otherwise they would end up going inside of it.
But from the other side was a sneak attack that was planned for them, which they just barely managed to avoid. A ray that looked to be Grogar's magic flew by, grazing Reshiram's wings. If they had kept moving, they would have been struck by the beam. It was a good thing that they had stopped, otherwise, that could've resulted in an injury that could've prevented their flight.
Reshiram, Zekrom and Metagross would all turn around and watch, noticing the gigantic portal in front of them. From within the depths of the portal, a colossal, malevolent figure emerged, its very presence exuding an aura of immense darkness, its mere gaze capable of striking fear into the hearts of the bravest. Right before their eyes was a magical entity made up entirely of Professor Grogar's magic.
"Wh-What is that thing?!" Ash exclaimed.
"Hahaha!" Grogar cackled as he himself was within this large entity, controlling it like a puppet. "Thought you were going somewhere?!"
"Professor!" Alpha bellowed with a smile on her face.
"Ash Ketchum. Twilight Sparkle. You slippery little pests." Grogar said to the duo. "But, all that scampering you've been doing is finally going to come to an end. Already, we've managed to capture yet another reincarnation of Her Majesty. Twilight Wish, as you may know her."
"You got Wish?!" Ash was shocked that they had managed to find her.
"That means only two are left. The traitorous Moonlight and you..." Grogar looked at Sci-Twi. "And the same applies to you as well, Ash Ketchum. It's just you and Victor left. How fitting that its two doubles that we have left to deal with. Our goal...after so long will finally be completed. Prisma will be no more and Unilight will have its future once more. A future you stole from us, Prisma."
"Kh!" Ash and Ethan grit their teeth.
"I also have my original self to thank. The Grogar of the Main Universe has taught me a few things that even I had no idea of. Magical forces and spells that I can use to my benefit. It helps to have two of you, does it not?" Grogar obviously taunted them. "You won't be getting to Victor. I will. From this point on, you won't reach him. And I have someone here to help ensure that."
Ash raised an eyebrow, wondering who he was talking about. Grogar smirked as it was the one person that would caught Ash off guard.
"Galaxy Master. Out you come." Grogar introduced, bringing forth the hero from the gateway. Galaxy Master's imposing figure came into view as he stood on a small galaxy to allow him flight in the air. Ash couldn't believe it. His eyes widened and his heart skipped a beat. Before him was his own creation. Yet, there was something off about him, a strange glint in his eye that sent a shiver down Ash's spine. He wasn't the same Galaxy Master from his memories. He was different, corrupted in a way that was hard to describe. His heroic demeanor was gone, replaced by a dark and menacing aura.
"Galaxy Master!? DAD?!"
"The perfect individual to deal with you. Your own fictional creation. Hahahaha! How ironic that your very dreams would be the end of you." Grogar was enjoying this. The look of despair and anguish on his foes' faces was a delightful sight to behold.
"No way! Dad! It's me, Ash! I haven't seen you for a while!" Ash spoke up, pointing to himself. "I still haven't found my dad, well...the one I based you off! You know what I mean! This is what you've been doing the whole time?!"
"I managed to successfully gain control of his mind. In outer space, a base of operations that was made by me once in the past. It was so easy to influence him, but I ironically have Prisma to thank for that. His own energy was actually responsible for his mind being taken over that easily since he once went to that base where Prisma was present." Grogar explained. "It was a matter of time until his will was mine. Now, he is a servant to our cause. There's no doubt in his actions."
"You let my dad go!" Ash roared angrily. "Come on, dad! Please! You've gotta snap out of it!"
"..." No answer came from Galaxy Master. He was unresponsive. As if his mind was elsewhere, in some other place that Ash couldn't comprehend. But in truth, Galaxy Master's mind was completely under Grogar's control. Whatever will that the superhero had was lost, leaving only a shell of the once proud and noble man that Ash had created. And now, that same shell was poised to strike, ready to carry out its master's bidding.
"HAHAHA! So much for the bonds of family. Even this 'family' of yours is powerless to stop the inevitable." Grogar sneered, delighting in the emotional turmoil that he was inflicting on his adversaries. "Then again, he's not even your real father. Just a character based on him. Getting this attached to him was a foolish mistake in the first place. Galaxy Master. Assist me in capturing them both."
With a single nod, the Fictional Superhero would do just that, much to Ash's horror. With his arm outstretched, Galaxy Master would generate a bright cluster of stars that would shine in the darkness of the sky. They all shielded their eyes as the entire night sky was eclipsed by this galactic glow.
As the journey continues.
