My Little Pokémon: Grander World

Previous ChapterNext ChapterGalar. Out in the mountains. Day.
Once the area had restored, everyone would find themselves in the same place where the battle took place, in the mountainous area.
And upon appearing, all the Pokemon of Galaxy Master snapped out of it. With their trainer having his mind freed, his Pokemon would be freed too. They all gasped and blinked, finding themselves in the middle of the field with the others. After being controlled, they finally found their consciousness returning. They gazed at their surroundings, bewildered and relieved to have regained their senses. They all gasped and blinked, their bodies out of whack and perplexed.
The battle had come to an end.
Sci-Twi got on one knee upon returning, knowing that it wasn't over yet. Even though Galaxy Master has been freed, there was still one issue. Grogar.
Sci-Twi was the only trainer left. Ash and Galaxy Master were down for the count, Kimia was being taken back to recover by Raleigh and Celestia was currently in pursuit of Grogar, leaving just Sci-Twi with all of these Pokemon. And if the Professor was indeed about to take action, then she needed to prepare herself. "I have to keep everyone here safe..." She told herself. "Please! Everyone! Can you keep Ash and the others safe?" She spoke to all the Pokemon here. Her own Pokemon, the Pokemon of Ash and his counterparts plus the Pokemon of the Nebel Plateau.
All of the Pokemon were together, and were naturally ready to help. She had to make sure everyone was alright. Reshiram and Zekrom were the ones who would protect the group while Sci-Twi had to stand guard. She watched over her fallen allies, praying that the worst of the battle was over. But deep down, she knew the danger was not yet behind them, as her thoughts drifted to the looming presence of Grogar. She would try and stay vigilant, standing guard, her eyes scanning the horizon, her heart pounding in her chest, hoping that the next moment would bring peace, not peril.
Princess Celestia was in hot pursuit, flying through the air which was moving thanks to Grogar's magic. She and Passion were hot on his tail, chasing down the massive Grogar Entity that was floating in the distance. The Princess of Equestria was not going to give up the chase, her wings beating powerfully against the wind, determination etched in her features.
She was determined to catch the elusive villain, but despite her best efforts, the gap between her and the entity was not closing quickly. Every time they seemed to get a little closer, the dark figure ahead would drift further away, maintaining a maddeningly consistent distance. It was almost as if the universe itself was conspiring to keep her from her target. As the sky darkened, the moon casting an ominous glow, a sense of unease began to creep over her. She couldn't help but feel that there was more at play here than met the eye, and that the true test of her strength and courage had only just begun.
Grogar was not in the mood. He was frustrated and angry. With Galaxy Master defeated, his plans were thrown into disarray. His mind was racing, trying to figure out his next move. "I can't believe this...My influence was removed from him. This is outrageous. If I had been there, things would have played out a lot differently." Grogar muttered to himself. "But, it isn't over yet. Her Majesty will succeed in finding Twilight Moonlight...and I can still do something about it."
"Garde!" Trying to stop Grogar, Passion would use Psychic on the mountains in the surrounding areas, making the rocks float around and launch them at Grogar. However, the evil master was protected by a barrier. Not only that, he was capable of teleporting the objects right back at the duo. Celestia promptly sliced the large rocks in half with her magic, not slowing down.
"Are you ready to separate? I'll gladly handle Celestia for you." The Original Grogar spoke to him from within. "You will be the one to deal with Ash Ketchum and Twilight Sparkle."
"With pleasure." In agreement, the two Grogars were about to split from each other, casting a spell that would allow them to separate for a while. Specifically, Professor Grogar would use that tiny piece latched onto Galaxy Master, allowing him to appear there. He would leave behind the massive entity of himself, having the Original Grogar take control of it.
The spell was cast, and soon, the tiny piece of Grogar would glow, reacting to the spell and separating the minds of the two parts. From the tiny fragment, the soul of Professor Grogar would manifest. Now, the two were on their way to becoming their own person. Professor Grogar would travel as a body of magical light, moving at amazing speeds, passing by Celestia and Passion. They were surprised by the sudden appearance of the figure and turned around to intercept him, but the Original Grogar was sure to prevent that.
"That body of light...Could it be?!" Celestia gasped when looking at the light pass by.
"It's just you and I, Celestia." The Original Grogar spoke to her, using his magic to close up the mountains themselves. The earth was already moving its plane thanks to the spell he cast earlier, but that didn't stop him from manipulating the world even more. The mountains were shaking, being glued together and blocking off the path that Celestia and Passion would have to go to reach him. "We can still continue our little chase for the one called Victor. But by the time you get there, you'll be far too weak to stop what's coming next."
"Bold of you to assume that I'll be the one weakened soon. I suppose you're the Grogar of our world. To think that you'd actually return one day but with these conditions." Celestia narrowed her eyes. "And you're willing to work with yourself and go along with his plan?"
"To be honest, the whole Prisma situation doesn't matter too much to me. The only reason I care is because the existence of the universe is on the line. But believe me. After that is dealt with, my own plans can come into play. After being sealed for so long, I'm quite eager to see the look of fear in every pony's face again. That includes you, Celestia." The original Grogar said to her. "You're the current ruler of Equestria, correct?"
"You should have stayed sealed. You're an old relic that should've never returned. Whatever plans you have, I doubt that they'll see much success in the world we live in now."
"Hm-hm. You sound just like Gusty. How irritating. This old relic still has a lot to give. I've spent centuries in concealment, waiting for my revenge and to finish my goals. As if I'd let someone younger than me stop that! It happened once and I refuse to let it happen again." The massive entity's horns would start glowing. "You already know about how I created most of Equestria's monsters. And thanks to merging with my alternate self, I can create more without needing any ingredients! Such as your own!"
A gigantic beam would suddenly fly out of the two horns, tearing through the sky and going straight for one individual. Passion. With her natural speed, she could dodge the blast. It would fly by her, crashing into the many mountains that were glued together, destroying the landscape and opening the way to the other side, the beam keeping a steady shot.
"I can create a powerful, twisted version of you. One that'll listen to everything I say." He would aim the beam at the Pony of the Wind, firing it again. She would keep dodging, evading the attacks that would open a hole to the other side. "If you want to join the chase, then engage! Your pathetic gusts, or my magic that has existed before this entire kingdom was born. I wonder which is fit to exist during this time?!"
"You'd dare try and turn Passion into a monster?!" Celestia snarled.
"It would be interesting to see what she would like, wouldn't you agree?" Grogar chuckled. "But, even though I missed, I promise you, I'll have a monster by my side."
"What?" Celestia raised an eyebrow as a roar was suddenly heard in the distance. She looked at the gaping hole and saw how the remains of the magic started spreading and seeping across the land. Suddenly, the very ground would rumble, as the visages of monstrified Pokemon were manifesting in the distance. "!"
"Even if I miss, the properties of my magic can spread and seep across the land, infecting the nearest beings of interest." The original Grogar explained. "I've truly perfected Monster Creation!" As his laughter echoed, the Monstrified Pokemon were already approaching Celestia making the Sun Princess's hands full.
But she and Passion had to do what they could to come out in top. All to save the lives of their friends.
The Crown Tundra.
Back at the Crown Tundra, the people of Freezington watched as Pinkie Pie and the others managed to successfully defeated the Arcane Institute's Pokemon. All these giant Pokemon had fainted with Mew standing over them, transformed into a Sawk. Everyone was in awe, amazed at the sight. Some were even cheering at the victory of the heroes. It seems like their village was saved, and a party would no doubt be prepared.
"Whew..." Rarity fell on her back against the snow. "That's that. Goodness me..."
"That's all of them..." Roseluck and other ponies panted, sitting down to rest. They've been through a wild ride, and their bodies were exhausted from the battle. "Finally..."
"Phew...I'm so tired." Pinkie sighed.
"Are you all alright?" One of the townspeople came over, a man in a winter coat. His eyes were focused on the injured.
"We'll be fine..." Rarity smiled while looking at Pheromosa.
"Mosa..." Poor Pheromosa's legs were hurting though. All this running and fighting were doing a number on her frail body. "Phero..." Pheromosa sat down, holding onto her legs. Coming to heal her was Audino, who would focus Heal Pulse on the Lissome Pokemon's legs, healing them up. "Mo-sa!"
"We won here but...Nightmare Moon and everyone else are still dealing with the rest of them over there." Amethyst Star said. They all looked onwards, knowing it was far from over. Nightmare Moon and her team still had to deal with the rest of the Institute, such as the BlueLight Sisters and Silver Swirl.
However, with Alpha defeated and all the Betas and Zetas gone, a turnaround was made. Even against the Monstrified Pokemon, Nightmare Moon's team were able to make a reversal. The opposing Pokemon would be pushed back by the Pokemon of One Light, the heroes managing to win the fights despite the odds.
But the Monstrified Pokemon were still an issue. Castform, Scizor, Charizard and Torkoal specifically. Due to Castform manipualting the weather itself and Charizard plus Torkoal generating amazing heat, it made this battle continue.
Nightmare Moon strained, trying to deflect all of Scizor's incoming strikes. Each slash of the Bug-Type's claws would send a wave of slashes, the wind cutting through the air and almost slicing the Aeronaut. His arms were already cut in several places, bleeding and causing pain. Scizor's speed and strength was nothing to scoff at, the Steel-Types's agility and dexterity was impressive, and Nightmare Moon was barely keeping up.
"No good...without the Soul Clones backing us up, at this rate, we'll be toast!" Violet cried out.
"We only have the Monstrified Pokemon to count on..." Silver Swirl closed her eyes, thinking for a moment. That's when something sprung up for her. Out of everyone here, she had a large magical arsenal to her name, only because she was a guardian angel. But this entire time, she has been restraining herself, being gentler compared to her fellow students.
But due to how out of control this was all getting, Silver Swirl saw that she would have to loosen up and go at maximum power. But she was a bit hesitant on it. So hesitant that she started speaking to herself.
"All the Soul Clones are gone and right now, all this fighting is spiralling out of control. Moonlight's gone and even joined up with One Light...Can I keep doing this?" Silver Swirl wondered. She remembered why she was doing this in the first place. To get her daughter back and to stop Prisma from returning and destroying everything. It was simple as that. Nothing more. Nothing less.
But the guardian angel has always opted for a less violent solution and path, even if things were out of her control. Despite being a former soldier and a guardian angel, her heart was that of a pacifist. And deep down, she didn't really want to fight, not in the way the Professor was wanting her to. She didn't want to hurt anyone or take away the happiness of others, no matter the reason or circumstances. That was her nature. Even if the end result meant that her daughter would be brought back, would the means justify that?
The answer was no. Of course not. There was no point in saving her daughter at the cost of everyone else's. Her daughter would be horrified that her mother would team up with those who go through such lengths, to the point of resorting to violence, to bring her back to life. And even then, that wasn't the case. None of them were truly alive.
"But there is no other way..." And yet, Silver Swirl truly believed that there was no other way to stop Prisma. She believed in how dangerous he was and that he needed to be stopped. "As a former Princess, I should know to take on hard decisions...so that's what I'll do."
Making up her mind, Silver Swirl decided to loosen herself more just to grant victory. And that meant truly loosen up. As she took a deep breath, the angelic magic within her would start shining and releasing a strong light. The others would look at her, wondering what was going on. That was when the aura around her would fade, her wings changing shape and her hair and tail turning black. No longer was her mane and tail a rainbow of colors, but a dark color that signified a different, darker state of hers, one that had a lot of magical power.
"Silver Swirl...?" Flawless watched her friend, noticing her demeanor had changed. The seriousness on her face had suddenly elevated, her pupils gleaming with a glorious light. "What are you-"
Flawless then squinted her eyes as a somewhat divine light would emerge from the guardian angel. It was a bright, magnificent light that shined so intensely that it was almost blinding. Everyone halted what they were doing, drawn to the light that emanated from Silver. Not a word was spoken as the guardian angel's newly form wings slowly spread apart by manifesting out of pure magic.
"!!!" And to Nightmare Moon's team, the sight of this was detrimental to them. Nightmare Moon felt it. The light was attacking her from within, eating away at her body and her soul. She could feel the darkness inside of her slowly waning and dissipating, a feeling that was excruciatingly painful and horrifying to the Queen of the Night. With a scream, she would keel over, clutching at her chest and her head as her vision and her senses were becoming distorted. "What is this light...?!"
But the power of this magic was not targeting her enemies, it also affected her allies. Flawless and the other grimaced and cringed as they felt the light's intensity wash over their bodies. It was a powerful, intense sensation that made their skin crawl. The Monstrified Pokemon, however, were completely unaffected by the power, their minds and souls were too corrupted to be harmed in any way by the light.
"What's this...power...?" Phantasia groaned, rubbing her temples as the magic washed over her and her sisters, the three of them having a hard time dealing with this new power. "It's like a blast from the sun, except amplified a thousandfold..."
"It's a divine spell, that's what it is..." Flawless grunted. She had heard of spells like these from the few lessons she had at the Arcane Institute. She knew of the power they possessed and how it could affect many people. But to think that Silver Swirl was capable of unleashing such magic, the eldest sister of the BlueLight trio was amazed. "I remember her mentioning this way back...I didn't think it was real...!"
It was when they were still rather new in the Arcane Institute. Flawless and Silver Swirl were having a discussion after one of their classes, sitting on the benches and talking about their future plans. The two weren't friends but they did spend time around each other.
"You have Divine Magic? Shut up. That's not true." Back then, Flawless did not believe it whatsoever.
"Well, it's not really Divine Magic. It's almost like it, but not quite. You can say it's a similar kind of magic." Silver Swirl smiled. "You know, I've been told that the only way to activate it is to reach a certain level of emotional intensity. Something that can motivate me. But the question is what, and the answer to that question is a little tricky. I don't really have anything that motivates me."
"That's stupid, and you know it. Everybody's got something that motivates them," Flawless said, looking at the young pony in front of her.
"You're right...It's mainly my daughter that motivates me and my whole universe. I miss my daughter so much and I don't know if she's still out there, or if she's even still alive. The Institute promised me that after we stop Prisma, everything that was lost will come back. All the universes that were destroyed, wiped, erased, reset, and more will return to normal." Silver Swirl said, smiling at her. "I guess that's my motivation. Keeping that promise, and finding my daughter, no matter how long it takes. But the full extent of my magic is a bit too dangerous to use. Even I haven't used it."
"How bad is it?"
"It's so difficult to control that it might target my allies. I hope that doesn't happen to you." Silver Swirl grinned while Flawless rolled her eyes.
But now, she was witnessing it for herself. That very magic she spoke of years ago. The divine and heavenly power that was emitting from the guardian angel. It was a sight to behold and to fear. The Monstrified Pokemon were not affected, but the rest were. Their bodies and their minds were slowly being drained, their stamina and energy depleted as a result of the powerful aura that was emitted from her.
Silver Swirl groaned as even she was straining. This was truly a magic that was hard to control and maintain. Her own body was taking a toll from using this magic and her mind was in disarray. But it was worth the risk. With the combined might of the BlueLigh Sisters and her divine power, they can win. They can succeed in their task of defeating One Light and capture the counterparts. Then they would have the upper hand against Prisma. It was a plan that would work, or at least, that was the belief Silver Swirl had in her heart.
"Stop right there!" Suddenly, on top of a hill, a voice echoed out to everyone here, coming from someone who wasn't in range of the magic.
"Huh?" Silver Swirl slowly turned her head, seeing who was on the mountain. Appearing here was not one, not two, but multiple ponies. Specifically, the Wonderbolts and the one who screamed was Rainbow Dash. Joined by none other than Harmony.
After finally recovering, the Wonderbolts had arrived, here to not just help their team, but to get their Pokemon back. Rainbow Dash took deep breaths, looking down at the scenario and focusing on Castform.
"Give me back...Castform...!" Rainbow demanded, her teeth gritted and her eyes narrowed. At last, more assistance had arrived in the form of the Wonderbolts. Even though Grogar overwhelmed them prior to this, they weren't out of the game just yet.
And now, they were here to get their friends back.
As the journey continues.
