Prisma vs Celestia

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Galar. On top of a Mountain. Afternoon.

Celestia had arrived at the scene. As the sun rays beamed through the dark clouds, the Sun Princess hovered above, looking down at the Incarnation of Ash and his counterparts. And speaking of arriving at the scene, Rarity and all the others finally reached the mountain, showing up as Celestia had arrived.

"Oh my goodness!" Rarity quickly ran over to Fluttershy and the others, seeing their state. Their Pokemon were trying to get back up, the Aura punishing their bodies with the one showing most resilience being Darkrai along with Audino. "You all! Are you alright?! Speak to me?!"

"Ah, that's much better." Prisma said when looking at Princess Celestia. "You might actually be a challenge, Celestia."

"Prisma..." Celestia said, seeing the face of Ash, but knowing that it wasn't truly him. She then looked over at her little sister who was downed and injured, and the same went to her friends. This made her snarl, her horn lighting up.

"Dino...Audino..." Audino groaned when getting back up. She would be helped up by Amethyst Star and Lyra Heartstrings, getting the Hearing Pokemon back on her feet. Other ponies would do the same to Darkrai.

Big Mac frantically ran over to his little sister, picking her up. "Big Mac...." She muttered, unable to move due to her injuries. Her brother sighed in relief, thankful that his little sis was still alive.

"Come on, darling. Let's get you fixed right up." Rarity would place her friend on her back, allowing her to get some rest. As the others were tending to the injured, Celestia landed in front of Prisma.

"Prisma...or Ash Ketchum. Whoever you are. You will not leave this place." She declared, her horn glowing. She wasn't taking any chances with the likes of him.

"Oh?" Prisma raised an eyebrow, glancing at the Princess. "Are you going to stop me?" He asked, smirking. "I hope you do. You're the one person that will make battling more enjoyable. I know your strength well."

"What?!"

"I'm counting on you, Celestia. Maybe you'll defeat me. To put me in my place. If you can beat me, then maybe your friends counterparts can stand against me as well. But if not, then you know what happens and the latter is most likely. If you really want to defend this world from destruction, then battle like you've never battled before."

"Is that some kind of reverse psychology you're using on me?"

"Not at all. Now then...I have no use for Galar. Watch as I lay waste to it...while crushing you!" Prisma's eyes widened as Rayquaza roared once again, getting ready to lay waste to Galar.

Celestia's horn glowed brightly as she would ready herself to take on Prisma, Dragonite and Rayquaza. "I wonder if you can battle while defending everything all at once! Let's see how marvelous you truly are, Celestia!" Prisma laughed as Rayquaza and Dragonite would begin their attack. Dragonite started off by using Hurricane, unleashing a fierce tornado that would spread immediately. Prisma hopped onto the back of Rayquaza, aiming to have the Sky High Pokemon carry him around.

Celestia took flight, unleashing a ray that met with the Hurricane. She quelled the tornado before it could do disastrous amounts of damage, dispelling it completely. "I'm not going to let you destroy the world!"

"Then prove it!" Prisma and his Pokemon began their assault against Celestia, the battle becoming one of pure aerial combat. The Dragonite was flying close to the ground, soaring across the land and unleashing powerful beams of energy that Celestia had to deflect or negate.

The Sun Princess saw Rayquaza use Hyper Beam, sending concentrated Infinity Energy her way. She would teleport out of the way, appearing elsewhere. However, she saw that the Hyper Beam could devastate the landscape if it lands, so with quick action, she used her magic to hold the beam in the place, manipulating it.

Celestia then redirected the beam, causing it to curve in the air and return to where it came from. However, all it took was Dragonite using Hyper Beam was well to intercept this, the two beams meeting in the middle. They exploded into a huge mass of energy, shaking all near and mountains while clearing the cloud formations.

"What's wrong?! Where's Passion?! I expect to see her by your side as always!" Prisma grinned, wondering where Celestia's Gardevoir was. "Dragon Ascent!"

With the order made, Rayquaza flew through the clouds and unleashed a mighty roar, diving down towards the alicorn princess, covered in a flaming aura. Celestia couldn't risk avoiding it since she knew Rayquaza would intentionally dive down, causing mass destruction. So, she had to try and block it as she conjured up a massive golden barrier. Rayquaza smashed right in the barrier at full force and what followed next as Celestia being pushed back by a charging Rayquaza, the duo moving across the air.

Celestia clenched her teeth, keeping the barrier up while being pushed back. However, she wasn't just standing idly by. While the Sky High Pokemon did indeed have a great deal of power to his tackle, Celestia was able to match that strength with her protective magic. Once the barrier was strong enough, she would release her energy, pushing the green dragon away and canceling his own move. "I won't let you harm these people, or this land, or anyone else! I'll protect them!"

"I'm glad to hear that." Prisma chuckled, seeing Rayquaza recover. "But that's not good enough! You're not putting in nearly the amount of effort needed to defeat the likes of me. Don't disappoint me too soon." His eyes would glow blue, as he had his Dragonite descend, grabbing ahold of a chunk of land and lifting it up. He then had the Dragonite hurl the rock at the alicorn, which was easily the size of a large building. It was fast approaching, so Celestia had to act quickly.

So, with a quick motion, she would swing her head downwards, summoning a cutting golden light that would slash the boulder. With the help of her magic, she was able to slice the boulder in half, allowing the parts to crash onto either side of her. She would then fly right through the opening that was made.

Her clash continued as she would unleash a blinding light onto Prisma and his Pokemon, forcing them to shield themselves. Rarity and the others watched this in the distance seeing the clash occur in the form of sparks and shockwaves that would break apart more and more of the clouds.

"Quick! Use the Harmony Badges!" Mayor Mare said as everypony would promptly take out their Harmony Badges to help heal Applejack and the others, who were slowly healing thanks to the various energies of the Harmony Badge. At the very least, the wounds would be healed, but they would still feel weak.

"Urgh..." Applejack was helped up by Big Mac, who would keep a tight grasp on his sister. She was panting heavily, feeling the effects of the Badge's ability. "Th...thanks." She muttered to her big brother, smiling softly. "Ah don't know what we'd do without y'all."

"So Ash really became Prisma..." Roseluck said while looking at the clash up ahead. She was in disbelief.

"Does that mean...We lost?" Soarin' questioned.

"W-We haven't lost yet...Not while Ash is still in there somewhere." Rainbow Dash panted while being supported up by Spitfire and Fleetfoot. Her body was trembling, but her determination was clear. "He's in there. I know he is. And that means we can still save him." Her thoughts on this were interrupted by a thunderous roar and a bright flash of light. Everyone looked at the sight of Rayquaza, who was roaring at the top of his lungs. He had been directly hit by a powerful spell that had forced him back, but he went right back in.

"Princess Celestia may need our help. All we have to do is stop Prisma." Mayor Mare said to them. "Everyone, let's hurry and catch up to them!" With that, everypony would begin running in the direction of the fight, hoping to provide support to the Princess. They couldn't just sit and wait, they had to at least try and help.

"At the speed they're moving, I think only Pheromosa, Zeraora and Braviary will be able to catch up to them." Rarity observed. Not everyone would be able to catch up to them.

"Not that way...but with Zekrom, that can change." Luna coughed after getting back up. She knew for a fact that thanks to the size of Zekrom compared to the ponies, he would be able to carry all of them and fly fast enough to where the battle is. "But as for how we can free Ash...Anything mental is of no use. We tried and yet we couldn't reach him in there..."

"Hm." Mayor Mare then looked at her Harmony Badge. "If that didn't work, then maybe our badges can do something. Let's hurry, everypony!"

As for Celestia and Prisma, their battle continued across the landscape. Dragon Ascent was used once more, forcing Celestia block it yet again, preventing any colossal damage to the land. And this time, when Rayquaza charged into the barrier, Celestia found her barrier sliding across the ground as they were at lower levels now. The group was being scraped and torn apart by the rapid and powerful movements of the barrier along the ground. Trees, rocks, and even the ground itself were ripped apart and thrown about, creating a massive trail of devastation behind them.

And just behind them in the distance was a town.

In this, it was Postwick.

The people and Pokemon of Postwick looked onwards in shock, seeing the visage of Rayquaza rapidly approaching them while Celestia was trying to hold him back. The sheer magnitude of their struggle was beyond comprehension, leaving the inhabitants frozen in awe and terror. Panic spread like wildfire as they scrambled to find shelter, but the impending impact seemed inevitable. In a desperate attempt to save the townsfolk, Celestia summoned more of her strength and unleashed a torrent of magical energy, redirecting the path of the two titans away from the town and right on the outskirts.

"Hah...Hah..." Celestia panted. Her body still hadn't fully recovered from her battle with Grogar, so she wasn't at her peak.

"Princess Celestia?!" The townspeople gasped upon seeing the Alicorn here, confused as to what was going on. But that was cut short by the arrival of a golden beam that struck the earth between her and the townsfolk, splitting the land and separating the two,. There was a giant ravine that was created in the process. This was the doing of the draconic entity himself, Dragonite, and it was a clear display of his power and control. He hovered above, his eyes locked on the princess.

"Curses...!" Celestia looked back, seeing the buildings of this town at risk of falling into the ravine, and the Pokemon that would fall in as well.

"Come on! Where are your Pokemon?!" Prisma yelled, hopping off the back of Rayquaza as he stood before Celestia and all those at Postwick. "Where are your allies?! Bring them in, I'll take them on! Or are you underestimating me?!"

"Not in the slightest." Celestia narrowed her eyes before thinking to herself. "Passion still needs time to recover before she can do anything else. For her safety, I have to battle in her place...but I don't think I can do this alone."

"Then show me everything, Celestia. Everything! Rayquaza! Use Hyper Beam!"

With a terrifying roar, Rayquaza took flight, charging up a Hyper Beam, one that would be aimed at the town. Celestia knew if that beam hits the ground or any building, Postwick would surely be destroyed. And to make sure the attack landed, the Dragonite was ready to intercept Celestia should she try to interfere. It was now or never, and Celestia had to make her move.

"I need your help! Reshiram! Kommo-o!" Promptly, she threw two Poke Balls forward with her magic, calling the two dragons to her aid. Both came out, letting loose a roar. "Reshiram, you stop that Hyper Beam! Kommo-o, go and engage the Dragonite! Stop him!"

Both of the dragons understood and flew forward. Kommo-o was already in the air, blocking the path to Celestia and slamming his claws against the draconic Pokemon. Meanwhile, Reshiram was in a collision with the incoming Hyper Beam, using his powers to counteract the incoming blow, and the town would be safe. Seeing this, the people of the town began to flee. They were not in any state to fight, and their homes were at risk of being caught in the crossfire. Even the Pokemon had no choice but to run, fleeing the scene before the worst happened.

Rayquaza and the Dragonite had taken off, fighting their fellow Dragons on the ground and in the air. A clash of immense proportions, their roars and attacks shook the very earth. The three beasts were locked in an intense battle. Kommo-o, with his sturdy armor and fierce combat skills, held his own against the formidable Dragonite.

"You!" Celestia then looked back at one of the citizens of the town as shockwaves went off. When looking at him, she would throw her own Harmony Badge at him.

"Ah!" The young trainer would grab the Harmony Badge, almost falling over.

"Use that to open a gateway and leave here at once! If you're struggling, go to Professor Sonia at Wedgehurst to help activate it for you!" Celestia ordered. "I can't promise that the town will remain safe, so you must hurry! Now!" With that, the Princess would jump in the air and fly off, aiming to support her Pokemon in their battle. The Trainer would look at the Badge, gulping as they turned to the townsfolk.

"A-Alright!" The Trainer would shout, leading the others towards the exit of the town and away from the danger of the battlefield. At the same time, Celestia was flying towards her Pokemon, who were currently engaged in a fierce battle against the Legendary Rayquaza and the Dragonite.

Reshiram and Rayquaza butted heads in mid-air, their colliding energies causing shockwaves that rippled through the sky. After butting heads, Reshiram would use Fusion Flare, releasing a powerful blast of fire that would strike at Rayquaza, and the latter responded by firing a Hyper Beam, a powerful purple ray that clashed with the Fusion Flare. The resulting explosion sent both dragons hurtling in opposite directions. As for the other two, Kommo-o and the Dragonite exchanged a series of blows, the former's armored body and sheer force were met with the draconic Pokémon's ferocity and speed.

Thanks to his armor, Kommo-o would withstand these heavy blows. He retaliated by using Close Combat while Dragonite used Dragon Claw. The two were up close and personal once more. Kommo-o actually managed to strike Dragonite in her face, knocking her to the ground. After knocking her down, the Dragon-Fighting-Type leapt into the air, ready to strike at her from above.

"Ko!"

"Drago!" But Dragonite would kick him away as soon as he got close, sending him back. Kommo-o's body would crash through the side of a house, causing rubble to fall and a hole to be left. "Mo!" Once he was out, he would slam his fist on the ground, preparing to retaliate. But as soon as he got up, Dragonite flew in at high speeds, tackling him and grabbing him at the same time. She would spear his body through that same house and the one after that.

"KOMMO-O!"

As the battle raged on in the air, Celestia swooped in to assist her Pokémon. Using her telekinetic abilities, she deflected some of the stray blasts that threatened to hit the nearby houses. She was determined to protect not only her Pokémon but also the innocent lives in the area, which were at great risk of being wiped out should the fighting continue. However, the destruction had already spread to the point that the town would need a lot of repairs. Houses were crumbling, the ground would split and crack, and the people were forced to leave the town in order to stay safe.

Postwick was about to be an absolute wreck due to this battle. And the same can be said for everywhere else. Despite the fact that Prisma was in Postwick, the energy he created was currently on the move. The Dragon Matter.

This destructive draconic power was aggressively moving through the landscape, ripping apart whatever came its way. Homes in various towns were devastated, and the earth itself was being torn asunder. People and Pokemon were forced to evacuate, fleeing in terror, and the landscape was becoming unrecognizable. It was spreading, and it was threatening to consume every part of the Galar Region.

But the Dragon Matter obviously did more than just rip everything apart. Another effect of it was the fact that it could potentially turn other Pokemon into Dragons. And alas, some Pokemon were already becoming victims of that transformation.

"Chimp?" A lone Chimchar would run in fear. He was scared, and the Dragon Matter was coming right towards him. Eventually, the small monkey would fall on the ground and trip. He would cover his eyes as the matter moved closer and closer, the roar of the dragon echoing throughout the region and its wings visible in the clouds. "Chiiiiiim..." But when the dust settled, the Dragon Matter had gone past him, and he was still alive. The Chimchar opened his eyes to see that the worst hadn't happened. "Char..." He smiled. He looked around, seeing the damage that the wave of energy did, and was thankful that he wasn't harmed. "Char." He would smile again. He was a lucky little Pokemon. He would take a few steps back, sighing in relief.

"Ch... Char?"

"Ch... Char?"

But the Chimchar would suddenly feel his heart beat rapidly. His body would burn up, and his entire body would start to change. He was a Fire-Type, so a burning feeling was common, but not like this. This was something new, a transformation unlike any other. He would scream in pain and agony. He was growing, his tail would grow longer, and his head would change shape. He would yell loudly, and his voice would even become different, changing from a childish tone to a monstrous one. And with a final scream, the Chimchar would transform.

Out of the energy emerged a draconic Chimchar. And he wouldn't be the last. More and more Pokemon that were caught up in the Dragon Matter would undergo draconic transformations. They had become a victim of the Dragon Matter's curse. As such, a few of them would begin to attack the trainers that would be in their way. And the worst was yet to come.

Due to them being affected by Prisma's Dragon Matter, they all had the same mindset as him. Destroy everything. And thus, many of the now transformed Pokemon would begin to tear apart the world that they knew and loved. The world was at risk of destruction by all things Prisma. Whether by Prisma himself or by those that side with him.

As this chaos raged on, over at Unilight, Twilight Luminaria had already geared up. With the situation reaching an all-time high, the Queen of Magic had gathered all of her forces to take on the threat. This included her best soldiers and their respective Pokemon. She was currently in the middle of a meeting, addressing the group of Pokemon, unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies. "We have been presented with a grave task," she began. "I feared this would happen. Prisma's return. Despite everything, especially trying to convince them all that he would return one day, he's been brought back regardless. Thus, this world and every universe out there is at peril of being absolutely obliterated."

"Can we even stop Prisma...? We failed the first time..." One of the soldiers said with a worried tone. He had a good point. They've all gone up against Prisma already and he absolutely overwhelmed them with his superior strength, taking on an entire supernation. Going up against him a second time might not yield a different result, especially since he was still so much stronger than all of them.

"Fear not. This time...we'll win." Twilight Luminaria declared. "In the case of our second ever clash with him, I've had some things prepared when we still had our original universe. Now is the perfect time to see them all come into play. For the sake of this universe and every universe out there, we will not lose. We mustn't lose."

She believed they wouldn't lose and would come out victorious on this one. Unilight, like before was about to go to war with Prisma. But now, they are also going to war with One Light, who was still a threat in their eyes. They needed to be dealt with too, and the only way to do that was through every resource available. But they wouldn't simply rush in without a plan. Twilight knew that was how she lost the first time. She wasn't going to let that happen again. Not this time.

"Yes...I have an ace in the hole unlike any other. One that will change reality itself."

As the journey continues.
