Prisma vs Twilight Luminaria

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Johto. Nightfall.

Using a powerful item she made from the Arcae Sea, Twilight Luminaria intended on wiping out Prisma for good and remaking all 10 counterparts into their own being, giving them a chance at life, but without any memories of anyone else. But, such a decision to remake Prisma was not something everyone was on board for. And one of them was Iris.

"Wait...if she does that..." Iris realized what that meant. If she pulls it off, then without a doubt, Ash would cease to exist as well. "You can't! Wait!"

"Do not try and stop me!" Twilight Luminaria yelled, the force of her voice pushing Iris back and to the ground. Iris was caught by Cynthia, who helped her stand up.

It was a battle of wills between the Pokemon Master and the Queen of Magic. Twilight Luminaria's will to see her enemy defeated was strong, but not enough to overcome the will of a man whose will was so great, that it would threaten to undo all of reality. And because of this, the orb had a new type of reaction.

Due to these clashing wills, the power to unmake Prisma was tarting to affect the surrounding area.

"The landscape!" Steven pointed to the battlefield, noticing how the ground beneath Prisma was beginning to break away in chunks. They were vanishing, not even leaving dust behind, and the chunks of land were floating in place. The sky was also breaking away, revealing the vast emptiness of space and the worlds beyond.

"Why's this happening?!!" Iris questioned.

"Prisma's will is matching her own. And because of that, I bet the orb is reacting both ways and becoming unstable. Twilight Luminaria probably didn't plan for something like this." Cynthia said. "At this rate, they might erase everything else in their way."

"Kh...!" Twilight Luminaria growled, showing visible signs of straining, trying to keep her will focused on her goal. But the instability of the situation was getting to her, and it was affecting her will.

Prisma smiled while also showing some straining. "Not good enough. You may have the will to defeat me, but I have the will to see an end to everything. So if you can't keep that will going, then the entire universe will follow suit. Everything will meet its end, in one way or another!" He threatened.

Right now, Cynthia and the others backed away from the approaching destruction as more of the ground was being wiped away, and the sky was becoming less blue, and more black. Even the stars were starting to vanish from stray Rift Particles that flew upwards, meaning that not even the worlds beyond could escape their wills and the power of the orb.

Johto itself was on the verge of being completely unmade, and there was a possibility of it reaching other regions. If not the whole planet. And the other side of the coin meant that, even if Johto was saved, Prisma could still be around to finish it off. There was no telling how things would play out, and the two options available were not at all desirable. Both were terrible fates.

"You...!" Twilight Luminaria, seeing this destruction, promptly stopped for a while, using her magic to unleash a magical blast of digital energy towards Prisma.

"Gouh!" Prisma gasped as his chest was struck by the Digital Magic. And upon being blasted, Prisma's body was launched back, sent flying through the air. And by flying through the air, he found himself going through the gateway to Sinnoh he summoned.

After that, he bounced across the ground, ending up in Sinnoh's Jubilife City, right where his Solgaleo was running rampant, destroying everything in sight. Prisma rolled on the ground, jumping up to recover. He held his chest, feeling the pain of the strike. That was a powerful shot.

After blasting him through the gateway, Twilight Luminaria reappeared with the orb still with her, looking down on Prisma. "Alright then...for me to properly overpower your will, I just have to break it!" Twilight Luminaria concluded, pointing her weapon at Prisma. "I'll make sure that you are nothing but a mere speck of dirt in front of me! You will not have the will to resist once I'm done with you!"

Prisma smirked and stood firm, ready for whatever Twilight Luminaria had in store. "Bring it on."

Twilight Luminaria's wings would spread, and the cosmic energy would return. She would fly to the skies and unleash an explosion of the same energy, the explosion spreading throughout the sky and raining down in several beams of light. "Appear! Lucario! Meganium!" He held his hand out, having two beams of light fly forward. Out of them emerged Poke Balls, which soon shot out Lucario and Meganium, landing on the field. His aura would connect to theirs, and they would be able to understand their trainer. "You two...Lucario, Aura Sphere. Meganium, Solar Beam!"

With no hesitation, Lucario formed a sphere of Aura Energy and unleashed it at the princess, while Meganium charged up a ball of solar energy in its bud, launching a powerful beam of light towards her. The solar energy in question was already fully charged.

This was not enough to stop the Sparkling Queen. She was ready to face anything that came her way, and in response to their attacks, she would glow her body in a rainbow colored shine, forming her shield of Magical Energy to defend herself. Not only did the shield protect her, it reflected the damage back at the Pokémon, who were pushed back.

Promptly, she went on the offensive, using her vast array of magic, creating a giant vortex that sucked the two in, trapping them inside a pocket dimension.

"So, you're using a miniaturized version of the 7th Dimensional Space." Prisma noted, recognizing the spell. "A nice move, but it's not good enough! Shatter it, Lucario!"

As commanded, Lucario used his Bone Rush to create a bone that he would smash against the walls of the 7D Space, shattering the dimension and setting the two free. After doing so, Lucario and Meganium would appear above her, crashing into her shield and shattering it. After breaking the shield, the alicorn would teleport back, promptly using another spell. It was a spell known as Locker Litany. Her eyes would shine a bright red, and in an instant, a lock would be placed on the Pokemon's minds, rendering them unable to fight. Paralyzed in place, the two would fall to the ground.

However, Lucario's Aura was able to burn away at the magic within his mind, allowing him to break the mental lock and resume his stance. After breaking it, he threw his Aura upwards, only for Twilight to disperse. But after dispersing it, Lucario launched himself towards the alicorn.

"I need your help! Iron Valiant!" Quickly, she called upon one of hr Pokemon to assist her. And out of it emerged her Iron Valiant. Upon entry, it instantly blocked, Lucario's Force Palm, taking no damage. In retaliation, it grabbed the Aura Pokemon's wrist, spinning and slamming him to the ground, before throwing him to the sky.

Lucario recovered, landing right next to Prisma. "Close Combat!" Twilight ordered.

"Force Palm!" And so did Prisma. Both of their Pokemon approached each other, exchanging blows. A punch was met with a slash. A grab was met with an elbow to the stomach. An uppercut was met by a downward kick. They were evenly matched in strength, and their powers were equal in their respective categories. However, Lucario was at a disadvantage due to not having a secondary type. And Iron Valiant, being a Psychic-Fighting Type, was more than capable of dealing with the opposing Fighting-Steel Type, even without the use of its psychic powers.

Iron Valiant was able to deliver a heavy slash on Lucario, bringing him to his knees, following with a knee to the head, and a swift spin, leading to an axe-kick onto its foe. Lucario managed to roll out of the way, promptly using the energy of Force Palm as a projectile, shooting it out and hitting the side of Iron Valiant's head. It staggered back, and Lucario took advantage, leaping at the opponent and delivering a direct blow to Paradox Pokemon's face.

"You think you can break my will?! Impossible! And you know it!" Prisma pointed at her while Lucario and Iron Valiant continued to brawl in the background.

"Oh, I will. Believe me. And it won't be by overpowering you! I'm breaking your will directly within you!" Twilight Luminaria declared, obviously referring to the use of magic to do so. And speaking of magic, she used a spell known as Speed Sigils, which created golden sigils that were absorbed into Iron Valiant's body, boosting its speed.

Using its newfound speed, the mechanical pokemon rushed at Lucario, moving so fast that it left afterimages of itself. These afterimages were a form of illusion, and would attack in its stead. All of these illusions delivered slashes to Lucario, and in the midst of the barrage, the real Iron Valiant would strike, smashing him in the stomach and lifting him in the air. But eventually, Lucario managed to spot its movements.

"Aura Sphere!"

"Lu...Ca!" After spotting its movements, Lucario summoned a massive Aura Sphere with one arm. The other arm was broken, so he had no choice. After charging the orb of pure Aura, the Aura Pokemon would throw it to the ground instead of at Iron Valiant. The Paradox Pokemon gasped as the sphere passed by it, almost connecting. But this was done on purpose.

Once the sphere hit the ground, it unleashed a noticeably great level of destruction, blowing up a large chunk of the battlefield. The dust cleared, and the battlefield was destroyed. Cracks were made, and the ground was split in many places. Many buildings collapsed from the shockwave of the blast as Iron Valiant was pushed back thanks to this. The destruction went far as Dawn and everyone nearby witnessed it happen, feeling the shaking of the ground, and the destructive force of the Aura Sphere.

In fact, it was only going to get worse from here. Lucario prepared a second one, ready to slam it down once more to destroy the entire city. The size of this one was even larger, being able to be seen from afar.

But before he could slam the sphere to the ground, someone intervened. "Scale Shot!" With the voice of Cynthia coming through, a barrage of scales flew out, hitting the Aura Sphere repeatedlt, causing it to explode in mid-air and making the aura disperse.

Prisma looked ahead while Twilight Luminaria looked behind her. Cynthia and the others followed through. Naturally. But they didn't just follow them to Sinnoh. The four Champions were very much willing to confront the two of them.

"That's enough!" Cynthia said. "Look at what you're doing to my home!"

"Hah. Are you finally deciding to confront me?" Prisma smiled.

"I knew it would come to this." Steven Stone spoke, stepping forth. "But what else can be done when you're putting everyone's lives at risk?"

"For both of you." Cynthia pointed at not just Prisma, but also Twilight Luminaria.

"What?! You're against me?! Still?!" Twilight Luminaria said with a confused expression. "Urgh! What part of common enemy do you not all understand?!"

"You're far too blinded in your passion to defeat Prisma, that you've also become a threat to everyone else." Lance spoke to her.

"Yeah! And you've taken over the body of one of my friends! You're just like Prisma!" Iris shouted. And those words from Iris struck a nerve in the Queen of Magic.

Cynthia had her Garchomp, Steven his Metagross, Lance his Dragonite, and Iris had her Haxorus. All four of the Legendary Champions stood in the way of both Twilight Luminaria and Prisma, ready to put a stop to the fight and hopefully, their conflict. They were in the middle of the two, and were not going to budge an inch, unless they stopped.

"Don't you ever compare me to him!" Twilight Luminaria angrily said. "If I have to resort to extreme measures to emerge victorious then so be it! You all constantly go against me instead of assisting me! Do you honestly think you can stop Prisma your way?!"

"Hmph. Don't waste your breath with them." Prisma smiled while crossing his arms. "They're too steadfast in what they aim for. They want their friends back and their world saved. No amount of babbling from you will change their approach."

"Babbling?!" Twilight Luminaria barked at him.

"I'll take you all on. Both sides!" Prisma announced to them. Right now, a three-way clash was about to begin here at Jubilife. Between Prisma, Twilight Luminaria and the Champions. The Champions only had the goal of getting Ash and Twilight back. And to them, that meant ensuring that Prisma and Twilight Luminaria were out cold. It was going to happen no matter what.

So the clash began, and the destruction was imminent.

"Garchomp! Use Dragon Claw!"

"Dragonite, Thunder Punch!"

Garchomp and Dragonite charged at Iron Valiant and Lucario, the latter two clashing with their opponents. Garchomp, with its claws enhanced, clashed repeatedly with the steel blade on the mechanical's arm. Sparks flew as their weapons grinded against each other. Meanwhile, the Dragon's powerful punch was parried by Lucario, who grabbed its fist and twisted his whole body, throwing Dragonite to the ground.

Twilight Luminaria and Prisma looked to their left and saw Haxorus and Metagross, the former already charging at them with Outrage and Meteor Mash. But they had Pokemon for them as well. Materializing out of light, for Prisma's side it was a Emboar while for Twilight Luminaria's side, it ended up being a Samurott. Hisuian Samurott to be exact. Both were quick to counter the Pokemon of the Champions. Emboar's Hammer Arm and Samurott's Septentrion Slash were able to match the attacks of their opponents, and a big explosion was caused. The resulting winds blew harshly on everyone's skin.

"Emboar, use Flare Blitz!"

"Samurott, Ceaseless Edge!" The fire boar covered itself in flames and charged straight at Metagross, leaping and slamming its full weight at the Steel-Psychic Type. Samurott, meanwhile, used its blades to jab and pierce at Haxorus, the draconic pokemon blocking every attack from the scmitars. Its scales allowed it to endure the attacks. But the damage was beginning to stack. Haxorus tried to retaliate with a Dragon Pulse, but the beam was dodged as Samurott jumped away. It then summoned a watery cape, and started spinning its drill to absorb water, becoming Aqua Jet. When the Formidable Pokemon tried to attack again, Haxorus managed to catch him, grabbing the drill and pushing him back. Both were in a standstill, trying to push the other.

"Metagross, use Psychic!"

"Meta!" Focusing on both Iron Valiant and Emboar, the Iron Leg Pokemon was able to pick them up in the air and smash them against each other, before tossing them to the distance. Garchomp, still busy clashing with Lucario head on, joined by Dragonite. The Aura Pokemon managed to contest with them both at the same time, blocking and parrying their Dragon Claws and Thunder Punches respectively. Lucario ended up blocking them both when tried hitting at the same time, flying back.

And upon being pushed back, he retaliated with a quick Aura Sphere, flinging it at them. But this quirk Aura Sphere was massive regardless, taking the two dragons by surprise, and exploding on them. Dragonite and Garchomp were blown away, aura flowing out of them.

The outburst of Aura also caused a great wind pressure that blew across Jubilife City, shaking the buildings of the area and the earth. In fact, a small fissure formed, separating the four Champion's side from the ones of Twilight Luminaria and Prisma. This forced the four Champions to step back and look at what was happening.

"This strength is ludicrous!" Cynthia exclaimed his having her arm over her face, blown away by the raw power of Prisma and his Pokemon. "Garchomp! Dragon Claw!"

"Haxorus, keep using Outrage!"

"Gar!" The two Dragons approached Lucario and Iron Valiant once more, the Aura Pokemon jumping high in the sky to evade their assault. However, Dragonite was ready for that. It promptly flew into the air, intercepting Lucario by grabbing him by his whole body.

"Rrr!"

"Launch him there!" Lance pointed directly at Iron Valiant and Twilight Luminaria's location.

"Dragoooo....!" Dragonite started spinning around in the air, building up momentum. Then, it threw him at where Iron Valiant was. The robot was able to see the Aura Pokemon flying at him at such a high velocity. As soon as he looked up, Iron Valiant was soon slammed into by the jackhammer throw. Lucario was pushed towards the ground, breaking the pavement of the city with his whole body.

"Ah! Nice hit!" Iris cheered. But their joy was cut short when the ground started rumbling, a huge dust cloud coming out of the impact zone. A sudden flash of blue was seen and a loud boom was heard. Lucario and Iron Valiant both jumped out of the crater and landed in the middle of the field.

"That won't be enough it looks like." Steven said beforel ooking at Iron Valiant. "But it looks like that one Pokemon is already showing signs of defeat. I can't say the same about Lucario though. We'll have to change our approach."

"I know. But there's also that Samurott and Emboar to worry about..." Lance spoke. "We'll have to take some of them as teams. But at this rate..."

"You're all being nuisances! All of you!" Twilight Luminaria's anger was visibly showing on her face. She was getting tired of these distractions and she was not about to let anyone stop her from winning. "I don't understand why you keep getting in my way!" In her rage, she would use her magic to open up a gateway of her own, using the power of the orb to do just that.

She was calling for backup.

Naturally, the size of this gateway indicated that the backup in question she was trying to get was none other than the remaining members of her Unilight Army. After all, there was still a massive amount of them that have yet to appear. Until now.

"We are trying to save everything! How can't you understand that?!" She yelled as the gateway kept getting bigger and bigger. "All I want is Prisma gone...so that he can no longer harm anyone else. Is that too much to ask?! Is it?!" While forming the gateway, she used one of her many spells in a fit of rage.

A spell known as the Ocean Benediction. Using her the full brunt of her magic as well as having the orb assist her, she shot a beam into the air. A very big and powerful beam that quickly vanished after being shot. This made everyone confused. Was that it?

Suddenly, the clouds above them began to gather and thicken. And then, it began to rain. A heavy rainfall that was happening throughout the city. Soon, a large wave of water would form, and then crash down onto the city, washing out the streets of the buildings. The massive water approached Prisma and the others, intending on overlaying their bodies with the power of the ocean.

Garchomp and others went to their trainers, attempting to protect them from the incoming tsunami. Metagross would use Psychic, forming the largest Psychic Barrier it could muster to shield everyone from harms way, including those from the opposing side.

All Prisma did was stand there, narrowing his eyes as the incoming tsunami was immediately washed over him and his Pokemon. Soon, a huge chunk of Jubilife was covered in water, creating a massive artificial sea that had an area of effect that was comparable to that of a Hydro Pump used in rapid succession.

Dawn and everyone nearby cowered in fear as the tsunami was also coming their way. She held onto Piplup for dear life, and the Penguin Pokemon cried in terror. And it looked as if they too would be engulfed by the waves.

And speaking of the waves, as the world experienced itself being ripped apart by Prisma's Pokemon and his Dragon Matter, elsewhere, Celestia's team were currently on their way to finally bring an end to this, having Calyrex be the one to ultimately solve it. But they had to make sure they execute it perfectly.

And for that, there was one location that they were all headed too.

Out in the sea and currently moving was the Sea Temple, Samiya. It moved across the ocean as always, by attempting to avoid the Dragon Matter which found itself ripping the water apart while also transforming the Pokemon within. And speaking of which, the Water-Types underwent the most draconic transformations due to how easy it was for the Dragon Matter to enter the ocean.

And from it, hundreds upon hundreds of Water-Types appeared as draconic variations of themselves. Many of the creatures roared in unison, their cries sounding like a chorus of a thousand souls. They began tearing up the world as well with their mass numbers, their newfound dragon powers giving them the advantage of fighting off anyone who opposed them.

At the same time, Celestia and the others had arrived at the Sea Temple.

"Oh! Princess Celestia!" Royal Adivsor Alo said, running over to Celestia and the others. "It's absolutely awful! His majesty...His Majesty truly has become Prisma. It seems...we have failed."

"We haven't failed yet." Celestia responded. "There's still a chance to stop all of this. But we'll need a bit of your assistance. Calyrex certainly will."

"Of course, princess. Anything to stop him." The royal advisor said, his face frowning. "But for His Majesty to actually emerge as Prisma.."

It gutted the People of the Water. All of them had visible sadness on their faces, their hearts aching at the thought of their king becoming the enemy. Some of them were crying, tears streaming down their cheeks, not wanting to believe that it was actually him.

"King Ash, was there anything we could have done?" One of the people asked, her voice cracking and trembling. "Wasn't there a way to prevent this?"

"Please, please forgive us, Your Majesty..." Another woman spoke, her words laced with sorrow. Her face contorted in agony, unable to bear the weight of their shared guilt.

"Your Majesty..." And the Young Enola was naturally breaking down from this, wiping tears from her eyes.

"You need not worry. As long as I can interact with their souls, I can bring your King back." Calyrex said to them all. "You have not lost hope. Do not despair now, not when the end is so close. You must keep the faith and trust in us to restore him to you."

"C-Can you really?" Donoma asked.

"But of course. However, we will need the power of your crystals for this. I need to get close to them first to actually be successful." Calyrex requested.

"Yes...Of course! We will have you use the full power of the Sea Temple Crystals to achieve what needs to be done." Advisor Alo replied. "Everyone! Go to the entrance of the Sea Crown and ensure that King Calyrex and his allies can use the crystals. This will surely help stop the calamity and save our king!"

With his word, the entire population of the underwater kingdom went to the room where all the crystals were being kept. The Sea Crown. Calyrex needed to make sure this could all count. It had to.

As for the aftermath of Twilight Luminaria's spell, as the entire city was covered in water, from the gateway itself, her army had appeared. Millions upon millions of Unilight forces arrived to take part in the fight, the numbers of her troops never ending. The best that Unilight had to offer had arrived with magic items by the thousands being at the ready.

So many of them appeared, mainly in the air, that they practically covered the skies themselves, being above the waters of her spell. Her soldiers were fully prepared to fight to their last breaths. They were here to protect their Queen and to destroy anyone who got in their way.

"Hah...Hah..." Twilight took deep breath after letting her rage explode there.

"Your Majesty..." A soldier asked.

"I'm fine..." She closed her eyes, gaining her cool again. "I can't take any risks...Everyone! Aim downwards!" With her order, they all looked down at the water which masked everything beneath the surface. Their enemies had to be somewhere, but the ocean's expanse had swallowed the battlefield whole.

"Attack from afar with everything you have. Use every spell and weapon at your disposal. Rain down Prisma's end!" As soon as she said that, they all attacked.

From above, an array of magical rays were unleashed. Practically billions of them appeared from above, each beam of light aiming directly at the depths below. In a matter of seconds, the entirety of the city of Jubilife was bombarded with a barrage of destructive energy, the lights appearing on the bottom of the tsunami

They kept coming down at full force with the intention of obliterating Prisma and his Pokemon along the way. The plan was to strike the water's surface and hit him and his Pokemon. There was no way that they'd be able to dodge that, right?

And to add to that, the remainder of Twilight's armies continued to fire from the gateway, ensuring that the beams of light would not stop until their queen told them to. There was no stopping the firepower that was about to be brought forth to the world. They were going to win this battle.

Twilight Luminaria watched on as the destruction kept on coming. By this point, she strongly believed Prisma had already been hit. Even if he didn't, his soul was definitely in great pain. Not only that, but the world would likely break under the pressure that was being exerted on its surface. If a million Dragonites were to use Hyper Beam at the exact same spot at once, the ground would break. Same thing could apply to the air, and the sky. That was the kind of firepower that could easily crack the planet in half, let alone a small portion of it, especially when a massive ocean was in the way, not to mention the massive amount of power that was hitting the city.

But as the attacks finally came to an end, there was silence and only the sound of the water. Everyone was on edge, wondering whether or not the attacks had worked. There were no sounds coming from below, and the surface of the water was eerily still. For a moment, it seemed as though the attacks had succeeded in destroying their target, or at the very least, damaging him greatly.

The water continued to be the only sound that was present in the area, but no one was to be seen. Had the attacks actually connected? Or were they just not seeing their foes at the moment?

That question would quickly be answered as the water started bubbling all of a sudden, steam appearing in the midst of the liquid. Something was making the water boil and simmer, and that something was none other than Prisma and his Pokemon.

Or in this case, it was Emboar. Emboar generated a heat so intense that it not only evaporated the water, but it also unleashed a gigantic flame pillar that shot upwards, aimed directly at Twilight Luminaria and her armies. An attack that would've obliterated the armies, had she not used her magic and sliced the pillar in half, causing a huge explosion, the shockwave knocking the soldiers away from the Queen.

She looked down at the sight of the evaporation, the boiling water now completely gone as Prisma was revealed to her once again. All of his Pokemon were still active and were barely even damaged from the assault. At the same time, the only damage that was done to him was that his clothes were slightly tattered. But he was otherwise, still fine, and not a scratch on him.

"Well, that was a nice bath, I suppose." Prisma remarked. "But it's not enough. Get out of my sight" With his rage, he suddenly revealed that during the entire time he was being bombarded, he summoned many of his Pokemon which immediately leapt into action. All the Pokemon from below approached the Unilight Army from above, surrounding them in the skies of Sinnoh.

And immediately, his Pokemon started absolutely overpowering Unilgiht's army, and the ones in the sky were starting to fall. He had the numbers and the strength to overcome the greatest military that existence had ever known. And his Pokemon were making sure to show that off, beating the enemies in the blink of an eye. It was a massacre. Thousands of soldiers were falling from the sky at record speed. No soldier was safe from the onslaught that was happening at the moment.

Prisma was slowly ascending to the skies while being on the back of his Charizard, floating towards his foe. "Oh, how the mighty have fallen, huh? Look at you. You're not the almighty Sparkling Queen that everyone loves to praise and worship. Now, you're just struggling to get rid of me, just like before."

"Prisma...!"

"Face it You're pathetic!" Prisma taunted. "I at least have respect for the trainers. They at least have the guts to face me in a Pokemon Battle. You always resort to these tactics because you know that if you try to beat me in a Pokemon battle, then you'd lose every time. Isn't that right? And yet, everyone else still does it because they believe in themselves."

"Shut up..." Twilight growled, her eyes changing from purple to red.

"And now, look where that's gotten you." Prisma laughed. "Relying on the power of the Rift once more. This time, thinking you can just unmake me from existence, right? You can't even do that right without hoping to overpower my will!"

"...SHUT UP!!!"

Twilight screamed and released another blast of energy from the rift, the beam of light flying past her troops and towards the trainer. The power of the blast was immense, and it was moving incredibly fast. The only option was to either block or deflect, and the latter was not a viable choice given its size. But all it took was Charizard to match that power with a Blast Burn, clashing with the magic.

"Stop trying to stop me, and realize that I'm the strongest! You can't stop what's about to happen!"

"Then neither can you!" Twilight flew at him and enveloped her body in magic, butting heads with Charizard. As the two kept on fighting in the sky, they began to exchange collisions.

Cynthia and the others managed to withstand that mess thanks to Metagross, and were witnessing everything from below. "Are you all okay?" Cynthia said to them all. Indeed they were. All thanks to Metagross.

"Goodness...What a mess this is." Lance looked at the fierce battle happening above them. "This is a disaster."

"You're telling me." Cynthia added. "I've never seen such a ferocious battle before. At this rate..."

"Everything I do is to stop you! Even if it seems impossible!" Twilight Luminaria yelled as she avoided a Dragon Claw from Charizard. "I hate you more than anything, Prisma! For you to go down this route...!"

"You speak about that as if you don't realize why I did. Are you trying to tell me that you wouldn't go down a similar route if you went through what I did?"

"I-I...!" Twilight Luminaria grimaced.

"Hmph. I can guarantee most would. And to think, our first massive clash, you said you were only doing it because you cared about me. That you wanted to see my suffering come to an end. Such drivel!" Prisma yelled as Charizard would slash Twilight Luminaria with Dragon Claw. The alicorn let out a cry of pain, and Prisma and Charizard would not let up. Charizard would grab her and throw her to the ground, the two following her and continuing the onslaught. "You never did. You simply saw a threat in front of you. A problem that needed to be solved and that is all. So much for that friendship thing, huh? Blast Burn!"

Charizard would unleash a Blast Burn, only for ther Queen to narrowly teleport away. After avoiding the destructive flame, she ordered her Pokemon to assist her. Flying next to her were Togekiss and Dusknoir, both ready to defend their master.

Charizard used Air Slash, unleashing blades of wind at them both. Dusknoir and Togekiss would evade and fight back. Togekiss used Aura Sphere and Dusknoir would use Focus Blast, each sphere of energy colliding and exploding in the air. Twilight would use a magic that allowed her to freeze a certain area in space, slowing down Charizard's movements.

Thanks to this, Togekiss and Dusknoir were able to get close and strike Charizard hard. But Charizard, thanks to Prisma breaking the spell, would spread his wings, blowing them both away after being struck.

"You say all that...but I did care for you, Prisma! Honestly!" Twilight Luminaria admitted. "You were my friend! Despite everything, despite us not seeing eye to eye, you were a dear friend of mine. But when you decided to do this...it was like you lost your mind. Even though I know why...I can't let you destroy everything! So, to protect my subjects...I need to get rid of you!"

With all of her passion, Twilight Luminaria unleashed a massive rainbow with no clear shape or form. It was a large beam of light, almost like a laser, that was headed straight for the two of them. Charizard tried stopping it with Blast Burn, but this magic was a cut above the rest. It broke through the flames and engulfed the two of them.

"NGH!" Prisma actually had to defend himself against this, using his Aura to do so as he clenched his teeth.

"If I have to destroy my own former friend to keep my subjects safe...so be it!" Twilight cried, her eyes turning red once more. "I'll do whatever I can to win!"

"T-Twilight!" Prisma screamed his name before being fully enveloped in the rainbow. There wasn't even an explosion for the aftermath of the attack, rather just a dispersion of sparkles that cleared the clouds above, followed by a magical sound, and the sight of Charizard falling to the ground, completely staggered by it. As for Prisma he landed on the ground, having the rainbows flicker around his body. He was hurt, and visibly so, and it was the one time he had a genuine expression of surprise on his face, his eyes widened.

"...I see now...Then. We can part ways truly, Twilight." Prisma stood tall, looking right at Twilight Luminaria. As she was ready to attack her once more, time would suddenly stop. Twilight Luminaria felt it before hand and gasped as all of a sudden, everything came to a halt.

All of Unilight's forces would stop in place. Every single pony, every single weapon, minus Prisma and his own Pokemon. Prisma had stopped time. Or rather, one of his Pokemon has. And Twilight Luminaria, who had a magical resistance to such power, looked up to see who it was.

Materializing before her very eyes was another one of Prisma's Pokemon. And in this case, it was none other than Dialga. The Temporal Pokemon, who had frozen the entire world in place. The only ones moving were Prisma and his Pokemon.

"Dialga..." She shuddered.

"Your resistance to Time Manipulation is as powerful as ever, Twilight. But the truth is...I was always going easy on everyone. Including you. If I wanted to, I would've had either Dialga of Palkia take care of things in a second. Now, I can say this is where we can bring out clash to an end. Goodbye. Dialga. Roar of Time!"

Dialga began charging up the move, the aura becoming more and more intense. Twilight Luminaria didn't have the chance to avoid it. In a mere moment, Dialga unleashed a blast of temporal energy, and a beam of light would fly down. All Twilight could do was try and stop it with her own beam of light, which soon dispersed and was then overwhelmed by the attack. With a loud scream, she was engulfed, and the attack collided with the ground and exploded, creating a shockwave that shook the area and even damaged the buildings nearby. As the smoke rose, a large crater could be seen in the middle of the city, and the battlefield had become more chaotic.

The dust settled, and the queen was lying in the middle of the crater, the damage of the attack leaving her barely standing. Her hair was a mess and her crown was broken in half thanks to this. She was still conscious while her body was smoking from the residual effect of the attack. The two pokemon she had summoned, Togekiss and Dusknoir were incapacitated due to that blast, and were returned to their Pokeballs.

She was panting, her vision blurring and the ringing in her ear was unbearable. She was still able to continue despite the attack she took. She looked up at Prisma with a rugged body. He slowly descended down to the ground, staring at his old friend. He walked over to the Alicorn and crouched down to look her in the eyes. "...Prism...a..."

"It's over, Twilight." Prisma spoke to her. "It's finally over."

"Over...?" She repeated, coughing a bit.

"Indeed. Finally, our feud has ended. You put up a valiant effort, and a part of me is disappointed in how weak you've gotten. You were much stronger in our first clash. But, regardless. This is the end of the road. I won." Prisma declared himself victorious, even if Twilight Luminaria still had magic to give.

He didn't even want to attack her anymore. Not in her current state. Prisma simply turned around as Dialga's Roar of Time ended up leaving lasting effects on the others. All their magical items were being accelerated by age, losing their power and material. As were their weapons. They were rusting and corroding.

"Prisma..." She kept saying his name as he walked off. "Prism.a....ASH!" Suddenly, she spoke another name that caught him off guard. A name that she didn't even meant to say herself based on the reaction on her face. It was the name of her current self's crush.

"What did you say?"

"Ngh..." Twilight Luminaria couldn't understand it herself as her entire army was coming down right behind her. Why did she suddenly say Ash's name. That's when it hit her. The only reason that would happen is because there was something within messing with her.

"Seems to me like one of you isn't too far gone." Someone spoke. Naturally, it was one of the Champions who commented on this. But when Prisma turned his head, it wasn't Lance, Steven, Cynthia or Iris that spoke those words. Instead, it was someone who had just arrived here, using a Harmony Badge to do so. When Prisma turned his head, and everyone else did, they were greeted by the current strongest known Trainer in this world, even with Prisma present.

Champion Leon.

"Leon!" Cynthia exclaimed, surprised to see him here.

"...Finally." Prisma said as a part of him was actually waiting for Leon. Especially Leon. Leon was known as the best right now and Prisma was always known as the best. It was an interesting development. "You've finally decided to join the fray. I was beginning to wonder what was keeping the World's Strongest Trainer."

"I had to keep everyone else safe from the destruction you caused. But, I am here now." Leon replied, his Charizard appearing beside him, letting out a mighty roar.

"Good. I suppose I won't be leaving this area just yet. Not while you're here." Prisma smirked. "You're the one I've been looking forward to battling the most! Perhaps you'll do a better job at entertaining me. Objectively, you'll be better than Twilight."

"..." Twilight hung hr head, clenching her teeth.

"I'm here to take you on, sure." Leon held out a Poke Ball. "But believe me. I'm here to buy time."

As the journey continues.
