My Little Pokémon: Grander World
Enough Time Bought
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSinnoh. Near Alamos Town. Nightfall.
Due to the efforts of Twilight Sparkle, Wish, Moonlight and Sci-Twi, they were starting to fight back against Twilight Luminaria's control from within.
Twilight's screams were growing louder and more anguished, and her struggles were becoming increasingly violent. The other Twilights were using their combined strength to try and regain control of the situation, and their efforts were starting to have an effect.
"You four...!" She knew that her reincarnations were behind this. "You four...are not going to ruin everything!" She fought against the pain. "I'm not about to lose...not like this...!"
Twilight Luminaria felt like now was not the time for her to lose. Not after she was humiliated by Prisma. So in response to the attack on her consciousness, she was beginning to retaliate. And she did so by using the orb. She had not yet given up on this item, believing in its tremendous power.
"I don't want to lose..." She said to herself while holding the orb. "It's not supposed to be this way. It wasn't supposed to end like this. If that's the case, I have to do something about it. I can't lose. I can't." She started pouring in her energy and her essence, the very core of her being, into the Orb.
Due to her willpower to win, it fuelled the orb. Her will to win was stronger than ever. But there was also something else. Fear. She was afraid of losing. Right now, more than ever, she didn't want to lose. Because he believed that if she did, Prisma would win without a doubt and all would be lost. And the thought of that terrified her. It was an intense fear that made her heart race and her body shake, and it was a fear that was only amplified by the fact that she was by herself.
Her army had been taken out by Prisma with overwhelming force. And to make matters worse, Prisma essentially claimed that she was weaker than when they last fought. Far weaker. And Twilight Luminaria was actually struggling to deny it. In their first clash, while Prisma was still stronger than everyone, she at least reached a point where she had Prisma at a near-stalemate at the end. That was not the case right now. Even her most powerful attacks were shrugged off. She wasn't even close to beating him. And to top it off, her own people, her reincarnations were trying to take over her body and stop her from fighting.
The Orb resonated with her fears and willpower, the two emotions mixing together as Twilight Luminaria was starting to push back against her reincarnations, the energy wrapping around her.
At the same time, Leon and Prisma's clash continued.
"Infernape! Flare Blitz!"
"Dragapult, use Thunderbolt!"
"Nape! Infernape!" Infernape launched himself forward at full speed with a flaming aura, that same aura burning the surrounding area with its intensity. He was quick to reach Dragapult who unleashed a Thunderbolt, hitting the Flame Pokemon. The blast of 100,000 volts clashed with the aura of Flare Blitz, creating an intense surge of energy.
The two of them tied, their respective attacks combusting but Infernape mainly took the damage due to the explosion happening in front of him. After the smoke appeared, Leon took advantage.
"Use Dragon Rush!"
"Dra! Draga!"
Along came Dragapult, charging in at full force with a draconic aura. Despite the power of the attack, Infernape was able to withstand the blow. However, Dragapult carried him through the air with Dragon Rush, ascending at great heights at ludicrous speeds.
"Flare Blitz!"
"Infer!" Infernape managed to push himself off Dragapult, launching his own body into the air. And upon doing so, he used Flare Blitz once more, charging straight at Dragapult. And thus, an aerial battle began.
Flare Blitz and Dragon Rush clashed against each other, lighting up the skies with sparks. A trail of flames and a trail of draconic energy could be seen going back and forth up in the skies. The auras of both colliding would create explosions that rang across the entire area. Both of their speeds were incredible, and neither side was willing to give in. They continued to trade blows, their auras clashing in a flurry of fire and dragon energy, the sound of the collisions echoing through the sky like thunderclaps.
Dragapult did have the advantage in the air due to his natural versatility as a Dragon, managing to outpace Infernape's Flare Blitz repeatedly. Soaring rapidly through the air, Dragapult would descend towards Infernape, aiming to hit him from different directions in a pincer maneuver. But it wasn't enough to put him down. Infernape managed to block the incoming pincer maneuvers from above, using his arms to deflect the attacks. However, Dragapult managed to swing his tail at Infernape, smacking him in the face.
And by doing so, he crashed right into the Flame Pokemon, pushing him onto the ground. Infernape nearly crashed into the ground, only to recover by doing a flip, sliding along the terrain.
"Thunderbolt!"
"Pult!" Following up, Dragapult released 100,000 volts from above, attempting to smite Infernape with a strong bolt. However, the Flame Pokemon was able to evade, jumping to the side and rolling to safety.
"I can't have Infernape land his strongest attacks on Dragapult. Not while he's a Ghost-Type. But I don't have to worry about that..." Prisma smiled as Infernape put his hand inside of the Dragon Matter, harnessing its power. And by doing so, Infernape would gain the ability to affect Ghost-Types with his Fighting-Type moves.
"Infer!"
"Close Combat!"
"Infernape!" Infernape approached Dragapult with his Dragon-matter infused fist, ready to lay the smackdown on him. Dragapult affected nothing to happen, but Leon was already ahead of the curve, knowing that Prisma could do the unexpected.
"Dodge, Dragapult!"
"Dra?" Dragapult uttered before being smacked in the chest. As a result, the spectral dragon was flung back from the force of the punch, but not only that, the punch itself spread Dragon Matter across the area. The ground would combust and open up, the grass and dirt spreading all across the arena. While Dragapult was sent flying, he was able to remain airborne, flying around Infernape at a rapid pace.
"Dragon Darts!"
"Pult!" The two Dreepy on his head rush at the Flame Pokemon, appearing at his sides with a glowing draconic energy. They managed to hit their target, at high speeds. Infernape was pushed back from the impact of their bodies, the small dragons having a surprising amount of force within their tiny frames.
Infernape growled, leaping into the air with his hands together. He went for a hammer fist, still using Close Combat. As the Dreepy returned to Dragapult, the Ghost-Dragon-Type would sway his body, avoiding the hammer fists. The fists hit the ground, and upon contact, an outburst of Dragon Matter erupted in a wide radius, engulfing Dragapult in its blast.
"D-Draaaaa!" Dragapult yelled out in pain while being engulfed by the matter, the substance clinging to his body and burning it.
"Dragapult!" Leon exclaimed.
"Now finish this, Mach Punch!"
"Nape!" Infernape charged forward in the air at a rapid speed, planning to land a powerful Mach Punch on the dragon. Right in the face, Dragapult was socked and the resulting punch created an intense shockwave of Dragon Matter, making the area explode and the resulting debris fly everywhere. The resulting blast would send both of them in the air to the ground, causing an even bigger explosion.
"Hahahaha!" Prisma laughed as the destruction of this Dragon Matter outburst seeped into the land itself, rapidly reaching other areas in the far distance within seconds, the energy bursting out in those locations as well.
Dragapult flew out of the Dragon Matter, absolutely bewildered after being launched. And to finish it off, Infernape leapt high into the air, delivering one final Mach Punch to Dragapult's stomach, sending him rocketing down to the ground.
And from the impact on the ground, Dragapult had fainted. His eyes were spiraling and his body twitching. It was clear the fight was over, and the winner was none other than Infernape. The Flame Pokemon would stand tall, his arms crossed and his face scowling. The scene behind him was a massive crater in the shape of his opponent. And the sky above him, filled with the purple and pink hues of the Dragon Matter, creating a mesmerizing display of color in the atmosphere.
"Infernaaaaaaape!"
"Thanks, Dragapult. Rest up." Leon returned him and placed the ball in his pocket, his expression remaining serious. "Heh... not bad at all..." he chuckled. "You're really strong, Prisma. Just as expected."
"Well, you're as promising as I thought you were, Leon. You can put up a fight against my Pokemon better than most. How satisfying..." Prisma was actually enjoying himself, a smile on his face. This battle was the first real challenge he's had in a long time, and the excitement was palpable. "But if you want to keep this up, I must ask that you get serious. I'd hate to have a disappointing battle."
"Don't count me out yet. I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve." Leon revealed his next Poke Ball. "I'm counting on you! Inteleon!"
Leon sent out his Inteleon in a flash of light and when the light dispersed, the Secret Agent Pokemon appeared.
"Inteleon!"
"I need to...I need to do something...!" Twilight Luminaria took deep breaths as she managed to use the power of the orb to hold back her reincarnation's interference. But she could still feel them trying to break free as they kept persisting. The Queen of Unilight started getting back up, gritting her teeth. "Ngh..."
"Your Majesty!" A voice from above could be heard, speaking straight to Twilight Luminaria. It was loud enough for even Prisma and Leon to notice as they all looked up. And above the skies, currently approaching, was Harmony.
"Harmony..." Twilight said when looking up at her, seeing her descending to the ground.
"Your Majesty, please. Stop while you're head. It's not too late." Harmony said, approaching her Queen, landing on the ground next to her. "Please don't continue to harm yourself like this."
"You're still against me, Harmony? How could you...?" Twilight snarled at her ally. "After all that, you choose to side with them and go against me. That vow we me made in the palace was meaningless?"
"No, Your Majesty. It's not meaningless. Because I know we made that vow to protect everyone from Prisma's destruction. I never went back on it. But I also want to take it in a different path, so I took that path, knowing it would put me against you. But I still hoped that you would understand and see it like how I did. And that's by ensuring Prisma's counterparts aren't destroyed either."
"I told you time and time again...You of all ponies should know that there is no other way...For someone like Prisma, that risk cannot be taken." Twilight growled. "Did you just come here to try and change my mind and lecture me about this? But otherwise, leave now before I'm forced to take action myself." She warned her.
Harmony shook her head. "No. I didn't come to stop you. And besides. I can't do it to you while you're in this state. Please...Twilight." She referred to her as her regular name instead of Your Majesty. "I'm coming to you as a friend instead of another one of your subjects. We can still stop Prisma, but please, it shouldn't be at the cost of innocent lives..."
"I can't go through with that..." Twilight Luminaria closed her eyes. "Why can't you understand that?! Harmony! I thought you were supposed to be the embodiment of all things from the Tree of Harmony and the Elements of Harmony! Where's your Loyalty?!"
"it's still here. But I'm also loyal to Twilight Sparkle. And on top of that...even though my Loyalty is amplified, that doesn't mean the other parts of me aren't as potent. The Fluttershy in me can't stand to see Prisma's reincarnations go through with this and the Pinkie Pie in me knows that even if Prisma is gone, those that were close to his reincarnations will be upset like no other. And finally, the Rarity in me is willing to make sacrifices that are needed. Not ones that aren't." Harmony explained, hoping to reason with her queen.
"What sacrifice is that?" Twilight asked, her horn still glowing as her magic suddenly rose. Due to the anger and fear she felt, her emotions boosted her magical power once more, allowing her to unleash a magical aura of great brightness, forcing Harmony to squint. Twilight Luminaria would rise in the air, glaring at her fellow alicorn.
"You've become too blind, Twilight! You're so obssesed with stopping Prisma that you'll endanger anyone that gets in the way. Even if it's not him, then his reincarnation is going to suffer for it. If anything, you might end up causing grief on the level of Prisma!"
"Don't you dare compare me to him!" Enraged, she unleashed a massive beam that came crashing down. Quickly, Harmony put up a shield, blocking the massive beam from striking her. But the sheer amount of magic was pushing the alicorn back, making her struggle to stay in the air. "I will not stop until Prisma is stopped! I don't care what the consequences are! As long as the rest of the universe is safe, nothing else matters! So don't get in my way, Harmony. Or you're gonna regret it!"
"I can't let you do that...I'll go against you to any lengths, Twilight." Harmony replied.
"Why?!" Twilight yelled at her. "After all that we've been through...I thought you were my friend!" In a burst of rage, she unleashed a rapid barrage of magic projectiles from above, bombarding the landscape around her and Harmony, including the two trainers below.
"Right now, I don't know if I can call you my friend!" Harmony kept the shield up as the projectiles rapidly beat down on it. "After all of this, it'll be hard to! And yet, I still don't want to give up on you! You're not the same pony anymore! That's why I have to stop you and save everyone, including you, before the worst happens. Before it's too late! Things can go back to how they were and we call coexist with our reincarnations!"
"Do you think things can go back to how they were after this...? Have you forgotten this detail? At the end of the day, we are reincarnations in our way! You think I don't know that Twilight Sparkle came before me!" Twilight Luminaria yelled, stunning Harmony.
"Twilight..."
"I thought I came first, but Twilight Sparkle was always the first. She's a vital part of existence, much like Ash Ketchum. Even then, the same can be applied to Twilight Wish, who is vital in another unique way. I could even apply that to Red...Knowing the truth about this entire existence would break anyone else. After this is over, coexisting is impossible. I know how devasted many will be, especially my reincarnations and I can't change that. So I need to go through with this! I need to! I will!"
And with it, the orb would resonate with her even more. So much so to that point that the thought of erasing Prisma from existence had strengthened. And from it, the cosmic energy was passively beginning to erase everything around the landscape. While not to a drastic extent, the area would begin to deteriorate. The sky itself would start to crumble, and the ground would slowly vanish in bits of pieces.
Harmony stepped back, seeing the area being wiped from existence itself. It was almost terrifying. No matter which direction she looked, the land was fading from view in front of her. Leon also looked around him to see this destruction unfold.
"Hm. She might end up doing my job for me." Prisma smirked while crossing his arms. He was enjoying the show, watching the Twilight Luminaria losing control of her emotions. "But I need this battle to last much longer. Dialga!"
With the order, Dialga knew what to do. Using its power of time, it would focus on the area where Prisma and Leon were, halting the process. For now, the two were protected, but the same couldn't be said for everywhere else. The speed at which this energy was spreading was so great that parts of Sinnoh were starting to vanish.
At this rate, the entire region would be wiped from existence, and from there, the rest of the world would follow suit. All due to the drive to stop Prisma. Twilight Luminaria was going insane in her mission of trying to stop Prisma, her motions getting the better of hr.
"Don't think you can stop me, Harmony!"
"I can't stop you on my own. And besides...I didn't come here to stop you directly...I just came here to buy time!" Harmony narrowed her eyes, revealing she was here for the same reason Leon was. Just to buy time.
"What?" She raised an eyebrow, wondering what she was buying time for.
And soon, that was answered for her as two massive beams of light that moved at outrageous speeds appeared in the distance. They moved at such speeds and power that one of them ended up knocking Dialga away, sending the Temporal Pokemon flying and crashing through a bunch of hills.
And after that, the two beams of light would shrink but kept their intense speed and power, going straight for Prisma and Twilight Luminaria. Specifically, right for their chests. They saw the beams approaching, but had no time to properly react. Both of their Auras were broken through as the beams struck their chests dead-on, latching onto them.
"GAAAH!" The two Incarnations screamed after being struck by the beams. And upon seeing them, they knew exactly what light this was. It was the Light of the Sea Temple, which meant only one thing.
In the distance, showing themselves, was Celestia's group, with the Sea Temple present here. The People of the Water helped them utilize the power of the Sea Temple Crystals and the entire Sea Crown just as promised as the entire structure was being carried in the air by said power, surrounded in a golden light.
And right now, Celestia and the others all had their hooves, claws, paws, hands and whatever limbs they have on the crystals, focusing on using their power to use the light that was piercing the two.
"Ngh...I think we got them!" Rainbow Dash grinned as right now, she and all the others were having the crystals resonate with their hearts.
"Excellent. Now to begin." With this, Calyrex could get to work. He was the one with the power to free their souls and right now, he had to do it and bring it all to an end. While riding Spectrier, he would advance, his steed galloping at high speeds.
And with a great leap, Spectrier leapt into the air and out of the Sea Temple, heading towards the two Incarnations that were stuck in place.
"You sneaky...!" Twilight Luminaria groaned at this feeling as she and Prisma could feel the amazing power of the crystals flow within them, targeting their souls.
"Thank you for buying enough time! Leon! Harmony!" Celestia used her Royal Canterlot Voice to speak to them. The duo did well to buy for time. And right now, that was paying off. This was their moment to free the souls of their friends.
"You...!" Prisma snarled at them.
"No longer will bring grief to anyone else. The both of you." Calyrex declared, using his Psychic power to levitate. "Now...free my friends and their and counterparts!" At long last, Calyrex would do it .The method to bring and end to this chaos. He held his arm out, targeting them both. "Hm!"
In a flash, a beam of black and white energy fired from the King of Bountiful Harvests, striking the two. And the sensation they felt was something even they never expected. Their pupils shrunk and dilated in response to the sudden pain and pressure they felt, a scream of agony and anger coming from the two. From their bodies, the spirits of the Trainers and Princess were struggling to get free from their prison, but Calyrex had to make sure to guide them in the right direction and to the right people, not to mention the force of their will to remain in their reincarnations.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The duo screamed at the top of their lungs, the force of the extraction of their souls being an excruciatingly painful experience.
"Hmmmmmm.....!" Calyrex focused deeply, making sure to be as flawless as possible.
"Ngh...! GHHHH!" Prisma clutched his chest, looking up at Calyrex in rage. But then, he smirked at him. "Heh! You think this can stop me...?! You wish! At best, you're harming my soul!"
"Hmmmrr...!" Calyrex felt that it was much harder to handle Prisma's soul, which was no surprise to him. He knew this wouldn't be easy, but that meant he had to give it his all. And as for Twilight Luminaria, it was the most painful for her. Her soul was already damaged to her four reincanrations already trying to break free from within her. She had to endure that pain and the extraction of her soul at the same time, her body shaking uncontrollably in a mix of agony and fear.
"He's actually doing it!" Fluttershy noticed when looking in the distance as everyone had smiles form on their faces. Smiles of hope and joy, seeing the method to their victory happening right before their very eyes.
"Come on..." Celestia bit her lip as they all looked on in anticipation, continuing to fuel the power of the Sea Temple Crystals.
"I won't...let you stop me!" Prisma strained as he took a step forward, showing impressive resistance to the light keeping him in place. His Aura was healing, showing just how much power he had to even fight back against such forces. There was seemingly no stopping him. Not even this!
Calyrex growled in anger, fighting back against Prisma. He knew Prisma would be difficult, but this was ridiculous. Such willpower to keep going and to try and stop him was extraordinary. It was the combined willpower of 10 Individuals. The willpower to win and push through the impossible, to keep moving forward and to achieve their goal. And all of that was added to Prisma and greatly elevated.
But as Prisma started laughing, showing that he could fight back against such power, something happened. Something that was not the cause of Calyrex's power. Prisma felt a shock of a different calibre, one that stopped his laughter. Everyone looked as Dynamax Particles started emerging from his body as he screamed once more.
"WH-WHAT IS THIS?!" Prisma screamed with great confusion in his voice as the Dynamax Particles rapidly flew out of him, like steam. And that's when, all of a sudden, energy projections would emerge from above him. Everyone looked to see who the projections were. And it was none other than Ash and the others.
"Ah! There they are!" Pinkie Pie gasped.
"Heh...worked like a charm." Victor was the one who spoke as he was the only one who had his eyes open. He had a grin on his face as Twilight Luminaria looked over at him. "A pretty big gamble, but it was worth it to get a reaction like this to happen!"
"A gamble...Don't tell me...!" Twilight Luminaria gasped.
"That's right...I gave myself up on purpose!" Victor revealed to Twilight Luminaria. When he surrendered, he didn't do just so that Twilight Luminaria could carry on with her plans. He did it because he wanted to purposefully sabotage Prisma from within. By giving himself up, and taking the attack meant for him, he could interfere from the inside.
And he very much did so, waiting for that golden opportunity, with led to this. "I was hoping someone would mess with Prisma from the outside to give me a boost, and boy did it work!" Victor laughed. "I don't think I can do much else from here...but I can at least have the others handle the rest! I'm counting on you for this one! Calyrex!"
"Hm. I don't know you all too well, but thank you, boy!" Calyrex smiled at Victor. In another universe, he was friends with another Calyrex and it seemed that same charisma rubbed off.
And as for what Victor did, he used the power of Eternatus to enlarge Prisma's soul, making it easier to target and pull one of them out of his body. The process was sped up and the size of his soul was bigger, making the task of freeing the souls trapped in Prisma's body that much easier to pull out. It was a crazy idea, but an effective one. Victor would be unable to do anything further from within, but his part was done.
"GAH! You miserable little...!" Prisma groaned at the fact that he had been sabotaged by one of his counterparts. And Twilight Luminaria was furious that she didn't see through Victor's plan when he gave himself up.
The Magic of Love played a part in it was well, still being used by Chrysalis. And to support the process, the love of a certain individual was burning brightly, manifesting into a certain shape. Prisma and everyone looked up at the massive shape that was forming from the power of love, it belonging to a certain individual.
"BAY!"
Ash's Bayleef.
"Woah, is that Ash's...Bayleef...? That's all of her love?!" Rainbow Dash was gobsmacked. To say that Bayleef was in love with Ash was an absolute understatement. For her own love to manifest this was outrageous as she was the size of an entire mountain.
"What the..." Prisma's jaw dropped at this as well. Even he didn't see this coming.
"BAY-BAY!" And all Bayleef saw was the face of Ash. So with a joyous face, her projection came down at Prisma at high speeds, unleashing every ounce of her love in him.
And with that, Calyrex's focus heightened as he continued the process. With Victor giving him the boost, he managed to feel two souls in particular. With all of his might, all of his mental fortitude, Calyrex ripped out two souls from the bodies of these incarnations.
The two souls flew out as upon emergence, they would let out a flash, restoring the bodies of the ones who owned them. Everyone looked onwards as the bodies of Ash Ketchum and Twilight Sparkle fell out of the sky and were caught. As for who caught Ash, it was Leon while Twilight Sparkle was caught by Harmony.
"ASH! TWILIGHT!" Naturally, their friends were over the moon to see the two.
"Ngh...GR!" However, Calyrex was unable to keep it up since Prisma unleashed a pulse of Aura that knocked him back, interrupting the process and knocking him back.
Both Prisma and Twilight Luminaria panted after going through that horrific sensation, feeling a portion of their power leave their bodies. While they were still powerful, the loss of their main hosts had cost them their greatest assets. They looked on at their enemies, a mixture of rage and hatred in their eyes. They were not pleased at their efforts being squandered.
This battle was not over yet.
As the journey continues.
