VS! Prisma and Twilight Luminaria

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Sinnoh. Near Alamos Town. Nightfall.

Thanks to the efforts of Calyrex and everyone in One Light, Ash and Twilight Sparkle had been freed from their incarnations. Their souls restored and their bodies back to how they were originally were, all in one piece.

"Urgh..." Ash and Twilight both groaned as they started opening their eyes, finding themselves in the arms of Leon and Harmony. Both would look around, confused at their surroundings. "What happened?"

"Where are we?" They asked in unison.

"Welcome back." Harmony greeted the Princess of Friendship. She was relieved to have her back.

"Ash! Twilight!" Everyone on the Sea Temple cried out as the temple itself started moving, approaching the scene. The large structure would descend slowly and land on the ground, shaking the area a little. The doors to the temple opened and out would come the others, rushing to the two with glee beyond glee.

"Hey, guys." Ash chuckled, happy to have his friends again.

"Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu leapt into Ash's arms, crying tears of joy. Ash hugged his partner tightly, never wanting to let go. Just the sight of him made him tear up a little.

"Twilight!" All of the Mane Five would hug their best friend, also tearing up at the reunion.

"Girls..." Twilight Sparkle held her friends close to her, laughing with joy. "Oh...I'm so glad to see you all again!" She laughed with them while in this group hug. Thanks to Calyrex, they were able to get their friends back.

"Glad Victor's plan worked..." Ash laughed. "Even in there, we were able to talk each other and were counting on Victor."

"So...you were still awake inside of Prisma the whole time?" Fluttershy blinked in surprise.

"Yeah, but we had to keep it quiet. Victor's plan paid off since he let himself get captured just for that moment." Ash explained. "Worked like a charm, but only I managed to get out."

"I worked with all my counterparts to try and find a way out." Twilight said to them all. "We're lucky that Twilight Luminaria was already weakened earlier."

"I'm glad you're both out here. But my job is not yet done." Calyrex said. "I only managed to get the both of you out, but I guarantee now, Prisma and Twilight Luminaria will heighten their defenses and make it harder to extract the others.

"Thanks, Calyrex. I knew you could pull it off..." Ash said, standing up to feel his bones. Both he and Twilight Sparkle would look over at Prisma and Twilight Luminaria, who were just now recollecting themselves. Dialga had just gotten back up after being blasted by the light of the Sea Temple, roaring loudly and ascending into the air.

"Everyone. If I am to free the rest of them, I need you to distract and restrain Prisma and Twilight Luminaria. Only then will I have the time to release the others from their grasps. Can you manage that?" Calyrex asked.

Ash and Twilight looked at each other. Even if their chances were slim, the two of them weren't about to give up on their friends. "We can do it." Twilight Sparkle replied before looking back at her friends. "We all can do it, right?"

"Mhm!" Pinkie Pie nodded.

"Gladly." Celestia and Luna agreed.

"You all..." Prisma took deep breaths, staring at them. "Not bad...not at all..."

"How dare you...!" Twilight Luminaria snarled.

"I see now...You're all not that boring..." Prisma referred to others outside of Leon. "And here I thought I had seen the most of what you can do. And yet, you managed to pull something like that of...Perhaps I underestimated your abilities."

"Prisma!" Ash spoke, facing his incarnation. "You and Twilight Luminaria are gonna let the others go. And we're gonna force them out of you!"

"Hmph. You're actually facing me? Your superior?" Prisma scoffed.

"Hah..." Taking a deep breath herself, Twilight Luminaria used the power of the orb to restore parts of her stamina, helping her stay in this. She even used another one of her many magics to further this healing process. "Don't get confident just because you're no longer apart of me. I still have enough magic power to overpower you."

"We'll see about that." Twilight Sparkle narrowed her eyes before using her magic to hold out a Poke Ball. "I need your help! Eve!"

"Espeon!" Espeon emerged from the thrown Poke Ball and she was more than happy to be back by her trainer's side. "Esp! Espeon!" Even aced Twilight Sparkle, wanting to hug her right now.

"Not now, Eve. Maybe later." Twilight smiled at her as the Sun Pokemon turned her attention to the one who took her trainer's body over for a period of time, snarling at her.

"Since you've done this well, I suppose I'll need more than just my Infernape for you all." Prisma grinned, deciding to amp it up. He still wanted a goal he had to achieve. He raised his arm high into the, calling for another Pokemon. An outburst of Aura happened around his body, causing everyone to stagger as the Aura shot upwards. From that Aura, another Pokemon came forth.

The skies above would start warping and distorting, the space bending itself to create a hole. The space in the sky was being manipulated just to bring forth this Pokemon. And as a barrage of spatial particles started descending from the hole, Palkia appeared in the skies. Upon roaring, all those spatial particles that dropped from above would start to scatter, hitting the ground and creating small holes of space.

Palkia would roar once more, the Spatial Distortion causing the environment to bend and twist to his whim. Space would suddenly lose meaning at that point, the laws of physics no longer applied to the surroundings. Everything was distorted and bent in weird ways and that was all because of the presence of the Spatial Pokemon, Palkia, the Creator of Space.

Everyone looked up at the Creator of Space, having to now deal with such a force. Usually, the Legendary Pokemon help them against massive threats to the world and the universe. But now, they had to go against them, specifically the ones that were from Prisma.

"Wait...we actually have to take on Palkia?!" Roseluck grimaced. Naturally, they were greatly intimidated, but still believe they could pull this off. After all, Celestia and Luna had Reshiram and Zekrom. But even the Princesses knew now to think that just because they had Legendaries as well, it would be a walk in the park. This was Prisma after all.

"Come! Show me what you all can do!" Prisma shouted at them all.

"Hmm..." As Ash stared at the scene before him, a thought crossed his mind. There was something his mind was already leading to and a theory he wanted to test. And it had to do with Dialga. He looked at the Creator of Time, who looked back at him. Their eyes met for a while, the two communicating without saying anything. And Ash had to try and see if this would work.

"Let's see if you can stop this! Palkia! Spacial Rend!" Prisma began the attack. Palkia roared as it raised its arm. Everyone braced themselves as a gigantic amount of spatial power was gathering up into his hand, creating an aura. Suddenly, the space in front of him was torn in half, the edges of the dimensional rift glowing pink and purple and revealing a black void. Out of that tear in space, a wave of pure, condensed spacial energy was fired at the heroes. The speed was faster than the speed of sound, and its trajectory could not have been predicted. No matter where someone was on the battlefield, the attack would home in on them and cut the very fabric of the universe to pieces. This was a devastating attack that could obliterate almost anything.

But not when there was another Legendary Pokemon on the field. One that could easily counter the effects of the attack. As Dialga sensed the movements of his opposite self, his eyes glowed blue. At that moment, time around that area of broken space was frozen in place.

It was stopped, and that prevented the Spacial Rend from continuing on and hitting One Light much to their surprise. Just like that, the Spacial Rend was completely nullified and cancelled. The attack could no longer continue and the tear in the very fabric of space was mended and fixed, restoring the space-time continuum and preventing a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions. With the Spacial Rend stopped, Dialga roared to signal its failure and its cancellation.

Prisma, along with everyone else, was shocked at how that worked. "Dialga?" He glanced at his own Dialga. "What are you-"

"Yeah, haha! It worked!" Ash cheered as Dialga flew over to his side, hovering right above him. "Just as I thought."

"H-How did you...?" Rarity stuttered.

"I figured that Dialga would respond to me. After all, Prisma left Dialga's soul in me and even though I'm not in Prisma anymore, I still have Dialga's Soul. So the connection stuck around!" Ash explained. Everyone was a bit surprised, since this seemed so simple a thing, but not one that could've been predicted. "Thanks, Dialga."

"Hm. Clever." Prisma closed his eyes while smiling. "You actually figured something like that out. But how far can you get with this possibility in your hands? All of you will have to show me something special! Palkia! Dragon Claw! Infernape! Close Combat!"

"Pikachu, use Quick Attack! Dialga, use Earthquake!" Ash commanded. Pikachu's body became enveloped in a white light and his body became surrounded in a white aura. He then charged at the incoming opponents, becoming a near blur and rushing through the area.

"Eve, use Quick Attack as well!"

"Esp!" Espeon took off as well, rushing alongside Pikachu. As for everyone else, they would try and distract Prisma and Twilight Luminaria, just so Calyrex could try freeing the other souls from them.

Pikachu and Espeon would clash with Infernape, using the speed of Quick Attack to hit his chest in unison, causing the Flame Pokemon to cough as his eyes widened. Though he would quickly recover and aim to punch the two, the Earthquake from Dialga would interrupt this, striking the entire area and blowing him away. This gave the electric mouse and the Sun Pokemon enough time to escape his grasp, avoiding his punch and managing to avoid him grabbing the two of them. Palkia was about to slash them, but the earthquake caused him to falter in the air and have to regain his balance, which he did in a few seconds.

"Use Hyper Beam!" Prisma shouted at Palkia. Opening his mouth, a pink orb was forming. The Legendary was able to levitate once more and regain his posture. Then, he fired a powerful beam of pink and purple light from the orb.

"Audi! Use Protect!"

"Audino...!" Audino formed a massive barrier of green that would protect them all from the blast, resisting its force. She grunted a little bit, feeling the strain of holding back an extremely powerful and deadly move. Yet, her training allowed her to resist it and make sure her friends would remain unscathed. Once the attack ended, the barrier was removed and everyone got ready to attack.

"Whirlipede! Rollout!" Out came Rainbow Dash's Whirlipede, who rolled out of the smoke, accelerating towards Palkia. And joining Whirlipede were attacks from afar by his allies. However, even though Palkia needed time to recharge, it would be protected by the Dragon Matter, which emerged to stand in the way of Whirlipede and the others.

"W-Whirl!" Whirlipede was pushed back, unable to get his attack off as all the ranged attacks would fizzle out in the presence of the Dragon Matter. And as the Dragon Matter moved aside, Palkia, who recharged much faster than expected would approach the group, having Dragon Claw ready in its arms.

"Dynamic Punch!"

"Golurk!" Applejack's Golurk approached Palkia from the other side, raising his fist and engulfing it in a light blue aura. Palkia would turn around in an instant and block the attack with its claws. Both the Automaton and the Spatial Pokemon were pushing their fists against one another, struggling to gain the upper hand. Soon, the two of them would push each other back and charge at each other.

"Phantom Force!"

"Lurk!" Just then, Golurk would phase out of this dimension, evading the incoming Dragon Claw from the Spatial Pokemon. Suddenly, Palkia would find that Golurk was gone, and would look around for the Automaton Pokemon. However, being the Master of Space, Palkia was able to tell where Golurk was and where it would reappear.

As soon as Palkia was ready to intercept, someone intercepted it instead. "Leavan!" All 12 of Rarity's Leavanny had used String Shot, wrapping their thick strings around the Spatial Pokemon and restraining its movements. They would pull on their threads and keep Palkia from attacking. But the Legendary Pokemon was able to break free of his bindings in an instant. Even though the String Shots were very strong and durable, they were no match for a Pokemon of Palkia's caliber and level.

But as soon as he tore them apart, Golurk appeared, smashing Palka in the face. "LURK!" While the damage wasn't a lot, it did a good amount and would push the Spatial Pokemon back. It was enough to stun him and make him pause for a brief second. Which was all the heroes needed.

"Psychic!" Celestia and Twilight said in unison.

"Garde!" Together, Gardevoir and Espeon would combine their powers to surround the Spatial Pokemon and the Flame Pokemon in a light blue aura, holding Palkia in place. At that moment, many of the Trainer's Pokemon would strike him from afar. In fact, they were doing the same for Infernape, who was now stunned by the Psychic Types on the team, who had joined in the attack on Palkia and made him flinch and cringe from the super effective attacks.

Many ranged moves would rain down upon the Flame and Spatial Pokemon, hitting them in the process. For a few seconds, the duo was taking the damage, the onslaught of projectiles not letting up whatsoever. Everyone was giving it their all, trying to do as much as possible. But suddenly, a burst of spatial energy from Palkia would blow them back, stopping their attacks in the process.

And at the same time, Twilight Luminaria had plenty of time to cast a spell upon them, being untouched thus far. Her eyes flashed as she extended her hand out towards the heroes.

Below them, hundreds of magic circles appeared on the ground, surrounding the entire area. The spell would instantly make everyone sluggish, and in some cases, paralyzed. Their legs and feet would feel heavier, and the effects of gravity would weigh upon their bodies immensely. It was as if their own weight was increasing, and that of their surroundings. Everything felt slow, and they were barely able to move.

"I think not...!" Luna grimaced, using her own magic to counteract this. Her body was already full of a magic that allowed her to ignore such effects, allowing her to unleash a counter spell that would nullify the anti-gravity field that was placed over the heroes. They free from the spell and continued their battle.

Twilight Luminaria unleashed another spell, making sure not to ignore Prisma either since he was also her target. It was a massive torrent of water akin to that of a tsunami. It approached everyone, appearing at tremendous heights and threatening to engulf and swallow everything up.

"Reverse that water, Dialga!" Ash pointed as Dialga did just that. Using his power over time, a blue orb would appear and reverse the flow of the tidal wave, turning it back to Twilight Luminaria and Prisma. However, that's where Palkia managed to break out of the Psychic hold, exerting a pulse of spatial energy.

And that same pulse met with the tidal wave and reversed its flow once again, only at a quicker pace. The water would collapse at last, scattering everywhere else. As Infernape broke out of the hold, he would use the Dragon Matter to multiply himself and rush in to take care of the others. They all looked up at the hundreds of Infernape in the air, looking at them from above in the sky.

"Dazzling Gleam!"

"Espeon!" Together, Espeon and Gardevoir released multiple rays of rainbows at the hundreds of Infernape. Each of these rays was aimed at a specific clone. And at the same time, a few other Pokemon would assist in the effort. There were a lot of clones to deal with, and not a lot of time to defeat them. But thanks to the efforts of the ranged Pokemon on their team, the clones were destroyed in no time flat. With the real one remaining, the others would continue to launch their attacks at him.

Infernape was hit with the brunt of the group's assault, taking the combined might of their ranged moves. "Whirl!" And along came Whirlipede, faster than before and smashing into Infernape with Rollout. This was enough to knock the air out of the Fire and Fighting Type, pushing him away. He was sent flying but would catch himself in the air. His eyes narrowed, and the flames on his head would intensify.

"Flare Blitz!"

"Infernaaaaaaaa-"

"Protect, Audino!"

"Audiii...nooo!!" A large barrier would surround the entire group, protecting everyone from the incoming Flare Blitz. And once she blocked Infernape, it left her friends with a chance to attack as well.

"Roserade!" Roseluck's Roserade would smash Infernape with a potent Power Whip. The Grass Type would smack him several times with her whip, knocking him around and stunning him.

"Aerial Ace!"

"Leavan!" One of Rarity's Leavanny approached at blinding speeds, slashing him across the chest. "Lea!" Then, another of the Leavanny would slash at him from the other side. "LEAVANNYYYYYY!!!!" All twelve of her Leavanny would start to overwhelm the Infernape, slashing him at their highest speeds. It was a flurry of slashes from all sides, and the Flame Pokemon was unable to counter.

"I-Infer!"

"Not bad! This is amazing!" Prisma laughed. "Pehraps you can survive a bit longer!"

At the same time, the People of the Water were preparing the crystals for use once more. Alo and everyone placed their hands on the crystals, aiming to give Calyrex that opening he needed to free the other souls.

"Prisma!" As for Ash, he was approaching Prisma, running through the battlefield and staring at his incarnation.

"Hoh? You're approaching me?! That's bold, boy!" Prisma grinned as his Aura would grow greatly. But so would Ash's. His Aura rose as well, and the two of them would stare at one another, their strength growing in response. A clash was inevitable. And it was going to happen at this very moment.

"Thunderbolt!"

"Pika...!" Pikachu leapt into the air, building up 100,000 volts from within and focusing at Prisma.

"Spatial Rend!" Prisma pointed upwards at Pikachu, having Palkia turn its attention to the Mouse Pokemon. The Spatial Pokemon's body glowed a light blue, the gem on his shoulder glowing brightly. Soon, a sphere of light blue and purple emerged from the gem, being fired at Pikachu and his Thunderbolt.

Both attacks collided, meeting in the middle. For a moment, the two attacks pushed against each other, each side fighting hard to overpower the other.

"You're a tenacious one! Just like me!" Prisma said to him as Ash continued to run at him. "But even you have to know that it's all coming to an end now! You may have been freed from me, but that doesn't hinder me as much as you'd hope it would!"

"No way! As long as I have my friends, I can pull it off!" Ash objected.

"As long as you have your friends?! How foolish! Then prove to me that the bonds of your friends can stop this absolute destruction!" Prisma held his arms out, expecting Ash to hit him. But instead, it was a juke.

A juke from Darkrai.

As soon as Ash got close, it was revealed that his body was a shadow construct, tricking Prisma. Instead, a torrent of dark tendrils would come in from his right, wrapping around his body. "W-What?!"

As for the real Ash, he appeared out of the shadows, going straight for Twilight Luminaria instead. The Queen of Magic gasped, looking to her side. "And I'm gonna need all my friends for this!" Ash would then put his hand on Twilight Luminaria's head while being covered in Aura, making direct contact with her soul.

"Y-You!" Twilight Luminaria gasped, trying to push him off, but this was all part of Ash's plan. Calyrex got a good focus on both Prisma and Twilight Luminaria once more, and his plan was about to be set in motion.

"I'm bringing my friends back! Can you hear me?! Twilight?!" Ash spoke to the three Twilights specifically. And with his voice echoing along with the power of the Aura messing with Twilight Luminaria's body, a reaction went through. Deep within, Sci-Twi could hear his voice.

"Ash!" She cried out from within Twilight Luminaria, showing that she could hear him without a doubt.

Calyrex would target their souls once more. Using his powers, the King of Bountiful Harvests had an even stronger grip than before, holding onto the two tightly, and in that moment, the People of the Water used the Crystals to amplify his powers, providing him a boost of energy that would allow him to do his job. And in a second, his plan would come to fruition.

"Ah! I have another one! But...it seems that Prisma's hold on his own souls ahs strengthened! But Twilight Luminaria's...!" Calyrex ripped another soul out of the body of Twilight Luminaria, causing her to scream out in pain. Her body started to glow, the same colors of the aura as the previous incarnations. And out of it came the soul of Sci-Twi. She was freed from the body and thrown aside.

"Aaaaaah!" Sci-Twi would fall from above, screaming as it looked like her body would hit the ground. But thankfully, Ash would be there to catch her. In that instant, he let go of Twilight Luminaria's body, which was launched back in place. Ash would land on his feet, carrying her in his arms.

Twilight Luminaria slid on the ground, feeling even weaker than before now that another one of her reincarnations had left her. She grit her teeth, struggling the most out of everyone here.

Prisma looked back at the scene, being even more impressed that they pulled it off again. Prisma was getting hit with surprises back and forth. How could they be this consistent against such power?

"Hah..." Sci-Twi panted before looking up at Ash. Her eyes went wide. "Ah...Ash?"

"Are you okay, Twi?" He asked her.

"I am now!" With glee, she hugged Ash. The boy smiled and returned her embrace, relieved that she was safe. "Oh, thank Arceus! Never scare me like that ever again!"

"You scared me first when you were that hurt." Ash laughed as the two continued to embrace. Eventually, they separated, and she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Wah!" Twilight Sparkle froze upon seeing her human counterpart do that, her body staggering slightly and her face turning bright red. The sight of it left her flabbergasted as Sci-Twi had beaten her to it. Little did she know, it was actually the second time she's done this.

Prisma was unable to have another soul leave his body as he showed greater resistance than before, using his Aura to burn away at the shadow tendrils and freeing himself. And upon freeing himself, he had Palkia amp it up. "Now, Palkia!"

Palkia put both claws together, knowing what had to be done. By separating its claws, a black hole was suddenly formed in the center of its claws. It was an altered Spacial Rend that would cause everything to warp. And right now, Palkia was beginning to pull everything in, starting with the ones closest to him.

Everyone saw the spatial distortion, and their bodies began to feel the pressure pulling them closer. They tried to fight back, but the gravity was too strong, and it felt as though they were being crushed. They all screamed and groaned as massive chunks of the ground were being ripped away, pulled into the orb. The entire area was getting destroyed, and the effects of the attack were spreading quickly. It was only a matter of time before the entire universe was warped and destroyed!

"Passion!" Celestia cried out.

"Garde!" But Palkia wasn't the only one who could make a black hole. The Embrace Pokemon held both arms out in front of her and the People of the Water, using Psychic to create an incredibly dense sphere of energy between her hands. From there, she made her own Black Hole.

Now, there were two Black Holes present in the area. Both of them would start to affect the others. Gardevoir's would start to suck in everything towards her, and Palkia's would try to pull everyone to him. Everything in the area would be torn apart by the two forces. It would've been devastating had it not been for Gardevoir's intervention, and the efforts of the People of the Water, who provided a light shield around the heroes. So rather, it was the rest of the battlefield that was being affected by the colliding forces.

At this rate, all of Sinnoh would be destroyed like this.

As the journey continues.
