Kingdom Hearts: The World's Reluctant Heroes

It took some time, but eventually Hiro was able to upgrade the armor and weapons of everyone in his team, as well as give Baymax an update as well, giving them all sorts of new abilities that they would be able to use against the Heartless, and any other foe that might bother them. As they finished up, in what was the morning of the following day, Hiro found that the local news had signs of more Heartless attacking the city, though this time around he and his friends had a smile on each of their faces as they gathered their armor and weapons. At the same time Sora and the rest of his group got ready as well, as this was what everyone had been waiting for, because this sudden arrival of Heartless could only be the work of a member of Tenebris' organization, meaning they could finish their task on this world in no time. Sombra had no idea who it could be this time around, not like how it was easy to tell that Dark Luxord would have been the one visiting the Caribbean, but that hardly mattered since they would beat them and their plans in due time.

Once everyone was good to go Hiro opened the garage and the group moved towards the city, where they descended on the Heartless that were causing chaos, and Sombra smiled as she found that the modified weapons of Hiro's friends were now able to deal with the shadowy enemies.

It was quite amazing in her eyes, that people went from being unable to fight the Heartless to being able to clash with them in no time, though she suspected Sora and the rest of the group were to blame in some way, like fighting alongside even a single Keyblade Wielder allowed one to fight the Heartless. She also found that there were Shadows, Soldiers, Tireblades, Pole Cannons, and what appeared to be a mechanical version of the Satyr type they had found on Hercules' world, so they were 'Metal Satyr' according to Fluttershy. Hiro's team spread out and tackled the groups of enemies that they could, while at the same time one of the Wielders went with them as Sombra attached a bit of magic to each one, allowing her to just stand on one of the highest points of the city and funnel all of the captured hearts into her collection. She looked out at the rest of the city, trying to see if she could track down their target and end this before it went too far, but for the most part it sure didn't look like there was anyone here that was even remotely linked to Tenebris.

As she thought about that, however, a large dino Heartless, roughly about half the size of the Earthshaker from the Pride Lands, marched down one of the larger streets, where Sombra turned her head as Fluttershy rushed at the Heartless and struck it multiple times with her Keyblade, eventually freeing it's heart before it could hurt anyone.

While that happened Go Go ran down one of the streets and used her new modification to jump onto the side of a building, surprising the Heartless that were following her, before she hurled a disc like a boomerang and took out all of her foes, as her weapon could take them out, the hearts flowing towards Sombra. At the same time Wasabi found that he couldn't hit his foes with his arm blasters, his aim needed work, though Honey Lemon used one of her form balls to gas the Heartless that her friend was fighting before utilizing a second to trap them in a block form. This allowed her friend to target his foes easier than before, his blasts freeing more hearts while the ones following him and Honey Lemon dealt with the rest of the foes in the area they were in, causing Sombra to turn her focus towards Fred for a moment. The guy in the monster suit seemed to think that freezing his foes and then using a fire breath would take them out, it only thawed them out, causing him to use both in a twister attack that knocked his Heartless down, freeing more hearts in the process.

Baymax then introduced them to the idea of the 'fist bump' and how Hiro used it, much to Sora's interest, before one of the Metal Trolls attacked the city, causing both teams to converge on it, though in the end the group emerged victorious and just went off to have ice cream, but Sombra stayed behind to keep an eye on the city... and her efforts were rewarded, as she spotted a dark mass moving through the city, made of dark cubes.

"Guys, we've got movement in the city: a mass of small cubes that can fit in the palm of one's hand, individually, but together make something far larger." Sombra remarked, though at the same time she noticed what she was expecting to find, there was a dark signature somewhere in the city, two of them based on everything she was feeling right now, and while one was familiar, Maleficent, the other was an unknown, "Also, our target has arrived: the 'villain' has shown up."

Sure enough Hiro had his team head into the city while he tried to scan the intruder from his garage, so the rest of the group just did what they did earlier, the Wielders followed the rest of the team like before, while at the same time Sombra tracked down the dark signatures, causing her to flash down into the city, onto a raised highway that Maleficent and Pete were on.

"So, what are you two doing now?" Sombra asked, where at the same time part of her focus was on the other darkness that was slithering through the city, which was tied to the dark mass that the others were fighting right now, though she wasn't even needed right now since her friends were more than enough to assist Hiro's team, "Do speak quickly, we're on a tight schedule these days."

"Indeed. The Keyblade War is upon us, isn't it?" Maleficent stated, while at the same time Pete didn't seem to care about the conversation, rather he seemed to be focusing on something else that was going on right now, in the city, showing them that he understood that this wasn't a conversation he should be involved in, "I've noticed that your brother has been building an army, one that can wipe out entire worlds on their own... yet here you are, focused on exploring worlds like the fate of the entire World wasn't hanging in the balance."

"Oh, we do have an army... besides, we're only here because the World pointed us here." Sombra replied, though as she said that several surges of dark cubes rushed through the air and gathered in a single spot in the city, which was due to the rest of the group dealing with them, and based on what she was seeing Sora was handing the core on his own, "Maleficent, Pete, when the time comes you should join us for the final battle. The fate of reality is at stake... I'm not sure if you've noticed the damage that's been spreading, but Tenebris has damaged time itself, to the point that we're starting to experience skips in time and even cracks that develop into full blown rifts in time. If this continues we'll suffer what is known as a 'Dimensional Cataclysm'."

"What, like the destruction of a city or something?" Pete inquired, reminding Sombra that he was a moron most of the time and had no idea what was going on, while at the same time Maleficent stood there with a shocked look on her face as she literally dropped her staff for a moment, as she understood what Sombra had said, "What?"

"It... It is far worse than that, you buffoon. Sombra is talking about the literal End of the World." Maleficent said, though it was easy to see that she was taken aback by this information, especially since the bits Sombra had told her allowed her to quickly understand just how bad the damage was, they were talking about the destruction of all of time and the entirety of the World, causing her to actually sweat for a moment, "You... You have proof that this is happening?"

"I wouldn't lie about something like this, and I have an ally whose been holding back the damage, but she's confirmed that Tenebris must be stopped soon." Sombra stated, where she found that Maleficent just stood there, understanding just how bad things were getting, while at the same time Pete picked up the staff and held it out for his boss to take, who took it after a few seconds, without lashing out at him, "We will be gathering on the Keyblade Graveyard in a few days... if you would like to fight for the fate of the World, and help stop my foolish brother, that's where we'll be."

Maleficent stood there for a moment, her mind lost in possibilities and ideas, before she tilted her head a little as she and Pete left the world by using a Dark Corridor, allowing Sombra to flash over to the others as the dark cube mass floated in the air, and there was a black coat, Riku from when he was being possessed.

"And there's where the Riku Replica went... been wondering about that. Guess Tenebris stole him." Sombra said, where she and the others found that Hiro's team were surprised that they knew the figure that was in front of them, even though this also informed them of the fact that they must have seen Dark Riku once or twice before this point.

"Yes, ripped out of my own time to be a soldier in the final war for the fate of the World... and I get to kill some time while I wait to be recalled." Dark Riku replied, where he actually sounded like he was displeased by the idea, like Xehanort had told him the original plan and he wasn't much of a fan of Tenebris' version, to which he pulled out a red chip, like the type that was used on Baymax, but he was stopped before he could do anything.

It wasn't due to the fact that Sombra had stopped him, or Sora had rushed him, rather it was due to the fact that time went sideways again, as the area shifted as everyone left the night filled area and appeared on another structure, only this time Dark Riku's weapon was in his hand, the chip had a dark aura, and the Darkubes were dead in a pile.

"Wh... What just happened?" Wasabi asked, where Sombra noticed that Hiro was with them this time around, since he hadn't been present when it was night out, since it was now sunny out, save for the mass of darkness that was above them, but this just raised more questions than answers.

It would seem that we have experienced some temporal disruption. Baymax stated, though in that moment Sora and the rest of the group looked at each other, as the damage was no longer focused on them and them alone, now others were experiencing the time slips, which was seriously bad news when Sombra thought about it.

"Basically, we just slipped through time... it's been a problem lately." Sora replied, confirming Baymax's statement without getting too involved in the details, though at the same time he and the others readied their weapons as they stared at Dark Riku, while the figure was staring at the dark chip in his hand, "This just means we have to wrap things up, before they go from bad to worse."

Sombra had to agree with him as two thing happened at the same time, the first being that the Darkubes gathered together and formed a dark metallic orb that turned out to be another Baymax, the original that Hiro had lost, only it was made to have dark armor as the dark chip gave it life. As this Dark Baymax was unleashed upon them Sombra also noticed that there was a surge of Heartless in the city, to which Radiant and the others rushed out to deal with them as a trio of dark ships just appeared in the sky, battleships with the Heartless symbol on their side. Dark Riku seemed to approve of this and vanished not a few seconds later, though as that happened Sombra burst into the air as she drew her dark Keyblade, letting the dark energy gather around it before she swung her weapon. The wave of crescent energy that was loosed from her weapon tore down the trio of Battleships before they could do anything, their hearts being added to the collection with the rest of the new hearts that were being released, before she turned towards the city and smiled.

Based on what she was seeing right now there wasn't much she had to worry about, the others were dealing with the last of the Heartless and Sora, with the aid of the current Baymax, dealt with Dark Baymax, dropping him to the ground before he entered what appeared to be his safe mode, allowing them to transport him to the garage so Hiro could fix him up.

"So... we slipped through time. That means someone is messing with time, right?" Fred asked, as he was the guy who read all sorts of comic books and other things, giving him more insight into things that he was only now realizing were actually true, like the battle between light and darkness, before he sighed as Hiro continued to work on the original Baymax, which was now devoid of his dark armor and dark chip, "What can we do to help?"

"Nothing. This is our battle, and with the powers that are going to be thrown around we can't ask you guys to risk your lives... our enemies are stronger than the Heartless you just faced." Sora replied, though at the same time he laid a hand on Fred's shoulder, the smile on his face telling them that he didn't want to see them come to harm and that he was hoping they would trust him and his friends to stop this madness, "Don't worry, we've got this. Time will be back to normal before you know it."

Sombra said nothing as Hiro fully repaired the original Baymax, giving him two of the robot, though her focus was on what the immedate future held for them, as once everyone was done saying their goodbyes it would be time for them to head to the Keyblade Graveyard and bring an end to her brother's plans, causing her to rest up a little before they departed for the uncharted portion of space as everyone wondered what might happen next.
