After talking with Dark Marluxia, and determining that there was definitely something off about him since his timeline was different from their own, the group moved into the area that happened to be beyond where he stopped them and found a number of Heartless that were the new ones they had discovered on this world. In addition to all of the other Heartless they had found so far there were also Powerwilds, the blue monkey Heartless, that wanted a piece of them, though once more none of them really stood a chance against Sombra and her friends, showcasing just how good they were as a team. The larger amount of enemies was still a concern, since there were more foes this time around than all of their previous travels through the worlds, but even then it wasn't too much for them to worry about as everyone weaved through the Heartless that were blocking the way forward. At the end of the path Sora discovered a dark forest, or a dark portion of what they were used to seeing, to which he and the others stood to the side as Sombra glanced at what was in front of them as she found that it was a marsh.

At the same time they discovered a woman approaching them, who wore a hood to cover her head, though she pulled it back as she stopped near them, revealing that she was well dressed and had black hair, but at the same time Sombra could sense the darkness that was inside her heart.

"Hello, dear travelers. Do you know where Rapunzel might be?" the woman asked, where she made it look like she was very worried about the young woman that was with Flynn, before she noticed that they had their eyebrows raised, causing her to give them a fake bow that was almost like a real one, "Apologizes, I am Rapunzel's mother, and I've been worried sick about her since I discovered that she wasn't home. Can you tell me where my dear, sweet girl might be?"

"She's on her way to the city... in fact, I'm sure she's already there." Donald replied, because he didn't trust the woman, this was too convenient for her to show up when they were separated from Rapunzel and Flynn, so while many weren't willing to lie to the woman, since they had told the truth to so many, he was willing to lie.

Sure enough his decision had been the right one since the woman scorned them for being worthless and wandered off into the marsh, in the opposite direction of where Rapunzel's light energy was coming from, as Sombra was able to navigate the area and reach where their companions were standing. As it turned out there was a white horse that happened to be in the middle of tormenting Flynn, or at least it had been before the gecko on Rapunzel's head convinced it to stand down, which was when Fluttershy worked her magic and spoke to the animals for a moment. It didn't take her long to actually convince the horse, Maximus, to help them out, though it worked doubly well when Rapunzel joined in and they brokered a sort of peaceful resolution to the entire situation, even if Flynn didn't want the horse with them at all. With the agreement made the group was able to continue on their way to the city, even though the woman from before was clearly going the wrong way in Sombra's mind, but she wasn't too worried as they focused on moving through the area that was ahead of them.

This time around they moved into a rocky area and discovered that there were no enemies around to worry about, at least for the time being, before Rapunzel located areas that she could use her hair to swing across, while Sombra and Radiant used their magic to form walkways for everyone else to use.

Of course Sombra wasn't sure why Flynn was taking the hardest route to the city, since this involved scaling cliffs, which was when they found that there were a few enemies in the form of Shadows and Bizarre Archers, foes they breezed through with ease, before finding caves to pass through. These areas happened to have some Earth Cores, Shadows, and a new bat type of Heartless that was a Pureblood, the 'Fluttering' as they decided to call them, though Sombra stood back and let the rest of the group deal with them, mostly so she could keep track of the energies that were dancing around the world. While Sora and the others took out all of their enemies, however, Sombra came to understand a reason behind why there was a larger number of enemies during this adventure and suspected that it had to do with her brother messing with time. Since they knew Tenebris had pulled in all of his dark allies, in the form of Dark Marluxia and everyone else that was no doubt with him, it stood to reason that the Heartless and Nobodies of those timelines were invading their timeline, using the portals that her brother had ripped in the fabric of space and time.

As she thought about that they reached an area that seemed to be where a Powerwild was waiting, with a pillar of new foes that looked to be carriages stacked on top of each other, one of which revealed that it had an equine form when it was on it's own, and when the Powerwild noticed them it actually smacked it's rear at them.

None of them were sure why the monkey had decided to do such a thing, but that didn't stop them from engaging the foes that were in the area, crushing all of the other Powerwilds that appeared in the area as Sora, Donald, and Goofy focused on distracting all three of the Chaos Carriages. The interesting thing was that the tower of Carriages could actually fire at them, as in they fired cannonballs at them, though since everyone was used to keeping an eye on things they avoided the attacks and even returned a few to the tower without delay, hurting it in the process. As it turned out the Chaos Carriages on their own were actually rather worthless, all they did was speed around the circular area that was around them and then stop for a time before turning and doing it again, and when one fell the next in the trio stepped up to fight. It was actually a sad thing to see, because it seemed like these foes might have something interesting to share with them, but as far as Sombra could tell the power of this Heartless was just to be fast for a time and barrel into things, thus allowing everyone to tear into them without wasting time.

After Sombra caught the hearts of the Heartless they continued along the way and found a forest path that brought them to an area they could slide down, so many of them did so without delay, allowing them to reach a stretch of road, a shore, that linked up to a long bridge that went right into the city.

"So, this is the Kingdom of Corona... it's an interesting place." Sombra commented, though at the same time they walked over to the bridge and started to cross it, finding that there were guards and citizens all over the place, meaning the road that was behind them must go to a village or town, but the city was their main focus.

"Yes, and it's all thanks to you that I'm able to see it." Rapunzel said, where there was a look of excitement on her face as she looked at the area that was around it, though at the same time it looked like Flynn had something inside the city to focus on, even though he mentioned that the lanterns would be going up after dark, which was what Rapunzel wanted to see.

As they entered the city Radiant found that many of the people were welcoming and didn't even seemed concerned by the fact that Flynn was among them, it was possible that none of them knew what he had done, nor were they worried about her and the other Equestrians, just like they had seen in the past. Another thing they discovered was that Rapunzel was pulled over to one of the larger groups and her hair was pulled in, as they braided it, folded it like they were smiths, braided them in turn, and eventually pulled into a long patch of hair that was no longer being dragged on the ground. After that the people of the city pulled out some instruments and stared to play music as the party portion of the festival started, where a number of people started to dance and have fun, in fact they were willing to pull Sora and the others in as if they were friends and not total strangers. Sombra suspected that this kingdom was one of the friendlier ones, despite the darkness that was in the odd woman's heart, yet found herself enjoying herself as she and the others joined the festival, giving them a chance to just relax, enjoy some food, and just have some fun before they worried about the future.

Eventually night came and they found that the people dispersed for a time, where Sombra and the others watched as both Rapunzel and Flynn headed out for the water, allowing them to rest on the docks as they watched as a sea of paper lanterns were released into the sky, just as Rapunzel wanted.

"I've got to say, this place knows how to party." Radiant remarked, where Fluttershy and Seras nodded their heads, because they knew Pinkie would have adored coming to this place, something to keep in mind for when they got back home after all of Xehanort and Tenebris' plans were taken down, before she noticed a Dark Corridor open on the watchtower outside the dock area, "And, of course, someone has to ruin the fun."

As it turned out it wasn't Dark Marluxia, as they were expecting, rather it was Young Xehanort and he had a mass of time magic in his hands, which he unleashed on where the group was standing before they could do anything to stop him, but as Sombra's magic interacted with it the scene around them shifted until they were back near Rapunzel's tower.

"Wh... What just happened?" Fluttershy asked, as she was sure that Young Xehanort had used time magic on them, that part she and the others didn't need to be told about since they were used to seeing Sombra use that power from time to time, but she wasn't sure what the specifics of this magic were supposed to be, hence why they were looking at Sombra.

"Young Xehanort is screwing with time still... that or Tenebris told him to do this. He cast us forward in time for a couple of hours." Sombra remarked, which meant that he had done so to prevent them from getting involved with the second half of Rapunzel's story, in fact her light went out inside the tower, causing her to growl as she drew her keyblade, which she quickly pointed at the tower, "Come on, let's go deal with whatever darkness is about to show up."

As they moved, however, Sombra stopped as she glanced back and found the bronze time dragon figure standing behind her, where the sands of time formed a message telling her that the figure had mended the damage to this world's time, no doubt a message to make sure she didn't do something stupid in her anger. Once the message was delivered the figure just disappeared, either by magic or because this was an illusion in case someone else was watching them, causing Sombra to focus on the area that was around the tower as something fell out of the uppermost window. It was the cloak that the one pretending to be Rapunzel's mother had been wearing during their brief meeting, though it bared her heart and was taken by the darkness, producing a large tree stub shaped Heartless with four arm like appendages and a tail. The tree Heartless attacked them by using it's four arms against them, summoned a storm of the Flutterings, or lashing it's head down at them, all of which were easy to avoid since the Heartless' attacks weren't that great.

It did, however, have an ultimate attack of sorts, where it would wrap around the top of the tower and then summon what appeared to be rings of roots of some kind to keep them contained and force them to find the weak one to progress to the next one, all while dropping acorn shaped bombs on where they were standing. As Sombra pulled back, however, she noted the creation of the Heartless' Nobody in the area that the cloak would have landed in if the darkness hadn't claimed it, to which she sighed for a moment as she used her own dark magic to quickly terminate the figure. She knew that keeping the figure around would cause problems for Rapunzel and Flynn, so getting rid of the woman meant that they would be able to focus on their lives after this point, and when she turned back to the battle that was going on she found that she wasn't even needed right now. The others were more than enough to bring down the Heartless, the 'grim Gardianess' she guessed, and the moment it was brought down she captured it's heart, though that was also when a new light emerged from the tower, a fact that meant Rapunzel had to be safe.

As it turned out the fake mother had stabbed Flynn and Rapunzel's tears had the power to heal, even though her hair had been cut to a shorter appearance, while also turning a brown coloration for some reason, but at least the pair seemed fine after everything they had been though, and as the others chatted with them Sombra knew things were getting bad if the dragon figure had to get closer, making her worry about what the future had in store for them and the worlds.
