I'll Make Them Whole

Crap. This isn't good. We lost one of our own. Why does this always happen?

The heroes watched as Rainbow Dash flew off. "Rainbow pony, wait!", Mario shouted.

"Mario... we should give her some space", SMG4 said. However, Mario gave Hope to SMG3 and ran after Rainbow Dash. "Ugh, idiot..."

"Mario is doing the right thing here. We need to stick together. If Rainbow Dash is found, then we're all done for", Isaac said.

"Have you met Mario? His brain is literally short-circuited", SMG4 replied.

"And who's fault is that?", SMG3 asked mockingly.

"Shut up, 3. Now's not the time", SMG4 retorted. "Work on babysitting the... whatever that is. I'm going after that fat Italian so he doesn't somehow get himself killed."

"I think his chances of survival are a LOT better than yours, alien", Isaac replied. However, SMG4 refused to listen as he stormed off after Mario.

Me and my big mouth...

Mario was busy tracking down Rainbow Dash when SMG4 grabbed the plumber and tried to drag him back to the Changeling Kingdom. "Come... on... Mario... you... fat...", SMG4 said as he strained himself pulling the fat Italian, who wouldn't move a muscle. He knocked SMG4 aside.

"I know what I'm doing, SMG4", Mario said as he continued forward. "YOU never lost anyone."

"Oh, and YOU have?", SMG4 snapped. Mario turned around and glared at SMG4. "You're an idiot, Mario. You don't think before you act. You don't consider the consequences of your actions..." SMG4 is interrupted by a vicious punch to the face.

"Last chance, SMG4", Mario said threateningly. "I'm not playing around anymore."

"Me neither", SMG4 replied. The two went Super Saiyan 3 and clashed, the sheer force of their blows causing waves of sound to echo throughout Equestria. The two were evenly matched, and neither one was backing down. "You can't win, Mario!" SMG4 went Super Saiyan Blue and landed a devastating combo on Mario, but the plumber was unaffected and pulled off a very iconic attack.

"KamehameHA!", Mario shouted as he unleashed a Kamehameha wave at SMG4, who was sent flying. Using the attack as a distraction, Mario flew off in the direction Rainbow Dash went as the force of the Kamehameha wave caused SMG4 to power down.

"Damn it, Mario...", SMG4 groaned.

Meanwhile, Mario managed to find Rainbow Dash. "Hey, rainbow pony!", Mario said. However, he was ignored. "Rainbow pony...?" Mario walked over to Rainbow Dash and saw her face. She had a look of sheer terror as she looked upwards. "Hmm?" Mario followed her gaze to find the remaining Princesses of Equestria- Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Flurry Heart- had all been transformed into Necromorphs. "Uh-oh." The four princesses were all circling Mario and Rainbow Dash. The Flurry Heart Necromorph swooped down and lunged for Mario, but he stomped it into the ground, killing it instantly.

"You... you... you IDIOT!", Rainbow Dash yelled. "What... did you just... DO?!"

"I...", Mario began to speak before Rainbow Dash kicked him in the face. "Ow!" The confused plumber watched as Rainbow Dash walked back into the circle. "Wait... rainbow pony, don't! That baby needs you!"

"SHUT UP!", Rainbow Dash screamed. The armor from her mechanical wings surrounded her body and she lunged at Mario, who grabbed her and slammed her into the ground, knocking her out. He then faced the airborne Necromorphs. The trio of Necromorphs finally went on the offense and attacked Mario, who fought back with incredible power. Unbeknownst to Mario, however, the armor began to fuse itself to Rainbow Dash's body, tragically turning her into a mechanical monster. Meanwhile, Mario managed to kill the Cadance Necromorph.

"Two left...", Mario said as he leaped towards the Luna Necromorph and delivered a powerful punch. "You monsters are nothing..." Suddenly, the mechanical monster turned into liquid as it attached itself to the Luna Necromorph and the Celestia Necromorph, and the three monsters all combined to transform into a massive flaming mechanical two-headed Alicorn Necromorph, a horrifying amalgamation of the Celestia Necromorph, the Luna Necromorph, the mechanical monster Rainbow Dash had become, and the Applejack Necromorph, which was still alive within the armor and had fused itself with Rainbow Dash but was clearly still burning up after getting tossed into the sun earlier. "Oof, I hate that." Mario flew off, but the Meganecromorph took flight and gave chase. "I can't stop you down here... but maybe... up there..." Mario flew upwards and the Meganecromorph followed the Super Saiyan 3 plumber. "Like a moth to a flame... or me with spaghetti." Mario led the Meganecromorph into space, where the fire engulfing it burned out due to the freezing temperatures. The others watched from ground level.

"SWEET MERCIFUL CRAP!", SMG4 and SMG3 shouted in unison as Mario continued to lead the Meganecromorph away from the planet. He then pulled out a Mega Mushroom and devoured it, turning into a giant.

"Hi, how are ya?", Mario asked as the Meganecromorph stared him down. Mario began throwing massive punches at the Meganecromorph, causing it to scream in pain as the powered-up plumber unleashed his full power. However, the Meganecromorph began to pull the Sun and Moon towards Mario, who charged up one final attack. "Kaaaaaameeeeeeeeeeeee... haaaameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..." The sheer amount of power emanating from Mario caused the entire universe to shake as the two celestial bodies flew towards the giant powered-up plumber. "...HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Mario unleashed a giant Kamehameha wave, which completely destroyed the Sun and Moon, which caused a black hole to swallow up the Meganecromorph. The Kamehameha wave then destroyed the black hole, completely wiping out the Meganecromorph for good. Mario landed on the planet after powering down.

"Mario... what WAS that?", Isaac asked.

"I don't know... but it's no more now", Mario answered. Equestria was now bathed in darkness.

"What now?", SMG3 asked.

"We move on and hope we don't run into a Leviathan", Isaac answered. "The darkness is our ally. We'll be able to move easier."

"Is... is there anyone left?", SMG4 asked.

"I don't know. But we need to keep going. Hopefully... we'll find someone in this hellscape", Isaac answered as the group left the Changeling Kingdom.

"Wait! What am I supposed to do with the baby?!", SMG3 asked as Hope babbled.

"Take care of her, duh", Mario answered smugly.
