The psychotic gentlegriff
C14 Tea Time and Teasing
Previous ChapterNext ChapterCaptain Graceful trotted towards the royal library. He was informed that the disrespectful griffon had been there for the majority of the day, he didn’t dislike the griffon, no he was annoyed, by the blatant insult to his guards. The same guards that had recused the griffon and the foals, and yet this Anubis doesn’t seem to be grateful. Or even fazed for that matter. But why? He was never the brightest brain, no he was a pony of action. But that didn’t mean he was dumb by any measure, he was the captain of the Royal Guard after all.
He had found the enormous doors of the castle library, but then again it’s not like he could miss them. They were huge! Way too big in his opinion, but it wasn’t up to him. His domain was making sure that the princess and castle was safe, not to question the architecture.
As he pushed the giant doors open, they didn’t make a sound, or even show any signs of resisting? He questioned this at first but then remembered that there’s a spell that does that. He searched for the griffon but couldn’t find him. Ah how hard can it be to find a griffon in an almost empty library with ponies inside? He said internally to himself. He began wondering around the library, in search for Anubis. Then he saw the griffon at the very back of the library, on his own with a mountain of books. Captain graceful refused to believe that he had read them all. When the captain came up to the table and cleared him throat, garbing the griffon attention, he began. “Anubis Grimgost, princess Celestia has requested your presence for dinner tonight. So please follow me and we’ll be on our way.”
The shorter griffon slowly closes up the book he had just finished and spoke. “But I can’t just leave all these books out like this, it’ll be disrespectful to this temple of knowledge. I’ll have to put them back.”
The Captain thought that this griffon was messing with him, there was no way this griffon didn’t know what he had implied. He didn’t know whether to be annoyed or pleased that the griffon wasn’t going to leave his mess behind, for somepony else to clean. “Okay Anubis let’s get this done quickly, I wouldn’t want to keep the princess waiting.”
“Yeah that wouldn’t be ideal, so let’s get cracking grandpa.”
“I’m not a grandpa, ah I’m still in my prime.”
“Yeah, yeah I heard you good sir.”
Graceful noised that almost all the books Anubis had read were either magical tomes or biology books, some on griffons, some on ponies. There was the odd history book and a world map. What a peculiar selection for a 17-year-old Griffon? This raised many questions about Anubis, questions that he was going to ask the princess, when he got the chance to.

The two of them left the library and began on their journey to the princess’s private dining room.
The hurried walk was hauntingly quiet, not a sound was spoken. The only sounds they heard, was their own steps echoing throughout the never ending hallways, and Graceful’s armour clanking in rhythm the his strides. It was an uncomfortable feeling for the Captain, but Anubis found it nice, comforting for an unknown reason. he didn’t care about why, but he could see that Captain Graceful was uncomfortable so he opted to strike conversation with him. “So what’s it like being the Captain of the royal guard?”
The sudden noise made the already tense pegasus jump into the air, Anubis stifled a laugh. “Sorry Anubis, I… it’s rewarding but difficult, very straining on both body and mind. Why do you ask? Are you interested in joining?”
“Um maybe, I’m not sure. Am I even allowed? I mean I’m a griffon.”
“You being a griffon wouldn’t be a problem. But some ponies believe griffons are nothing more than wild animals or beasts with brains. But that’s an outdated train of thought if you ask me.”
“So you’re saying is that I’m going to have to deal with fools who will look down on me for being a griffon, in my day to day life?”
“(~Sigh~). Unfortunately that will be the case, but please try not to harbour hatred towards those ignorant ponies.”
“Why would I feel hatred towards those who are blinded by such beliefs. I pity them for their arrogance, Graceful.”
“Hehehe I don’t really understand what you mean by that, but I guess it’s better then hating those idiots. You’re quite mature for a seventeen year old, but I bit to disrespectful at times.”
“Yeah well I had to grow up fast to survive, and I was only pulling your leg when I insulted your guards. I didn’t mean anything malicious.”
“Oh I wish I had known that sooner. I guess I looked into it a bit too much, Hehehe.” He gave an embarrassed laugh.
Anubis thought that these ponies are very expressive. That made them easy to read, which made him feel sorry for their inability to read him correctly. But that would work in his favour, so he couldn’t complain.
They finally made it to the princess’s dining room and they both stopped before the doors. “Well Anubis, this is where I bided you farewell. I’ve got a job to do, so see you around.”
“Okay, bye Captain Graceful see you later.” Anubis thought it was nice that the captain of the guard wasn’t like the other guards, that wouldn’t even look at you when they addressed you.
Anubis noticed that there was two guards on either side of the door, that’s new but makes sense. He approached the door and the guards opened the golden and dark oak doors, he took a hesitant step forward. Then stole himself and made his way inside. “Ah Anubis, good evening how was your time in the library?”
“How did you know I was in the library?”
“Hehehe oh that, my guard informed me where you were. So was your day a good one?”
“Well that makes sense, and yes I read a lot of books and learned about the history and geography of Equestria. So a pretty productive day.”
“That’s good to hear Anubis, come I’ve been waiting to try this perfect cup of tea you speak of. You’re already late, so don’t keep a lady waiting now.” Celestia wore a smug look on her face. Clearly she doubted the young griffon’s abilities.
Anubis recognised the challenge and hopped onto a chair close to Celestia. “Are you ready to be enlightened by my talents, princess.” Anubis began to ask the princess for everything, he needed and swiftly got to work with mixing the different types of dried tea leaves together and placed the blend in an empty teabag. Then he placed the teabag into the tea pot that already had boiling water in it, courtesy of Celestia. Anubis thanked whatever higher entity for making tea universal throughout the multiverse, otherwise he’d be screwed. “There, now we wait for 2 minutes and then pore, add two sugars and add milk.”
“Oh okay so what would you like for dinner, Anubis?” Then princess Celestia use her magic to ring a golden bell. Then the head chef came out of a side door and Bowed before princess Celestia. She was about to speak, when Anubis beat her to it. “Ah yes my most loyal Chef, you may rise.” This made Celestia giggle, her head chef didn’t find it amusing but wouldn’t dare voice his displeasure.
“So are you a king or a prince hmm?”
“Umm well I obviously am a king.” He said in a mock offended tone.
“Oh please forgive me for my foolishness my king. But if I may, what are you the king of?”
“Oh that’s simple, I’m the king of tea of course.”
Celestia couldn’t hold her giggles in anymore and began to laugh at Anubis’s antics. He also started to laugh with her, the poor Chef was wondering when he would take their orders, if ever. After the last of the laughter died down they placed their orders and fell into idle chitchat. Anubis asked Celestia about her day, and she responded with an exasperated groan. “Well it’s been tiring, the first half of the day was filled with day court. It just my little ponies sometimes bring me silly problems or bills that they think are going be passed by me.”
“that sounds like a great time.” The sarcasm was practically dripping from his mouth. “Have you ever thought of making an prioritisation process? So you don’t have to deal with the stupid one?”
“Um well Anubis, that would be unfair to my subjects.”
“And the current system is fair to you? Because I don’t see how Celestia.”
“Um well it like that because I need to try and make time to help all who seek my guidance, Anubis.”
“Do you even get a day off?” Celestia gave a nervous laugh and that told Anubis everything he needed to know. “ I take that as a no then, I’d strongly recommend picking a day to have off like once or twice a week. You know so you can socialise with your friends. You do have friends, right?”
“Oh of course I do, I’m the princess of Equestria. And I’ll look into that suggestion of yours Anubis.” But she had a strained smile on her muzzle.
“I’m not going to lie to you Celestia, you’re a terrible liar. So I take it you have no time to make friends? Or is it something else?”
Celestia had been caught. Her cheeks when a light shade of pink from embarrassment. “I have one real friend, but she’s not a pony and I rarely get to see her. I have tried to befriend my subjects, but my ponies just see me as their princess so they’re scared to be casual around me. Unlike you, Anubis.”
“Well I guess that means you have two friends now doesn’t it.” He began to pore the tea into two cups and passed one to the princess. He add two sugar cubes and a splash of milk to his cup, Celestia copied this and took a sip. Her taste buds were assaulted by an otherworldly taste, one that she couldn’t find the words for. “It’s good isn’t it, Celestia.” All she could do was nod in disbelief.
“Yes I guess it does. H-how did you manage to make this? It’s…”
“A secret family recipe my dear, one my grandmother made. I learned it when I was 4. It reminds me of home, before the….” He stopped himself from going any further and smiled at Celestia. “If you want it you’ll just have to marry me. Oh and believe me I can be a little more than just annoying, Celestia.” He shot the dumbfounded Alicorn a wink and sipped his tea. Celestia immediately turned a dark hue of crimson.
No creature’s ever spoken to me like that before and with no hesitation to. Anubis Grimgost , you are a mystery that I need to solve. Her thoughts were broken when the griffon in question booped her muzzle. She scrunched up her face and when cross eyed, this caused Anubis to fall back into his chair, laughing at the goofy face the princess had made. Celestia huffed and pick the griffon up in her aura. He tried to escape but there wasn’t any chance for him now. “So you think it’s funny to boop the Royal snoot? Anubis I must ask, are you ticklish by any means?” At this, his eyes widened in dread.
“Hey there Celestia, I’m seventeen remember. Not a cub, so don’t make this weird now.”
“Who said anything about weird? Wanna tell me what’s on your mind Anubis. You dirty griff.”
The rolls have been reversed, and Anubis’s mind began to wonder, so did his eyes. His cheeks went red and Celestia panicked, dropping him onto the table. (Thud!!) “oh Anubis are you okay I-I didn’t mean to drop you.”
“I’m fine! Celestia I’m fine, I’m just going to sit back down ok, no need to panic.” But little did Anubis know that she had got a glimpse of it, before he was able to hide it with his wings. She hadn’t even noticed that her wings were semi-erect and her cheeks were still red. Anubis went back to drinking his tea.
He was caught off guard by the princess’s figure. And like all males in their teens, his body acted on its own accord. Thankfully he had wings to hide his cock from the princess.
Shit! I hope she didn’t see it, that’s soo fucking embarrassing. I can’t believe I had such thoughts about a pony, what’s wrong with me.
The room was filled with an aura of awkwardness, they both stayed silent with exception to them thanking the chef for their food.
Celestia’s mind was at war with itself, did Anubis find her attractive or was it just because he had thought about something inappropriate. She couldn’t tell. She wondered if she should feel discomfort at the idea that some-creature thinking about her like that. But at the same time she kinda like the thought of knowing that Anubis found her attractive to some degree. She was brought out of her thoughts by the griffon. “Celestia.”
This caught the princess’s attention. “You. Didn’t see anything, did you?” The tone Anubis gave was a dark tone that gave her a shiver down her spine. She wasn’t going to try and lie but she didn’t want to kill him with embarrassment either.
“I’m sorry Anubis, I did get a glimpse. But if it makes you feel any better it’s impressive.” Her voice cracked a little and her cheeks got redder. What are you doing Celestia! Complementing his private’s, he’s going to think your a pervert. She screamed internally at herself.
Anubis gave her a look and said. “Thanks, I guess… you’re easy on the eyes, for a pervert.” And got back to eating his dinner. “That was your fault, just so you know.”
Celestia gaped in disbelief. “My fault! How? You’re the one who got turned on!”
“SSShhhh. Any louder and you’ll let everyone in the castle know. You perverted princess.”
“I don’t see how it’s my fault that you had a malfunction down stairs. Oh and please don’t go around calling me that, especially when you’re easily mistaken for a cub.”
“Fine I’ll run around and tell everypony when I have a growth spurt. And No I didn’t mean down there, I think I’m big enough. What do you think princess pervert?”
“Good answer Celestia. We will never speak of this to another soul.”
“Agreed.”
“So what about the other half of your day, Any better? Well other than seeing me, although a bit more of me than I had intended.” He gave the pure white Alicorn a smirk.
Celestia gave him her own smirk. “Yeah I won’t lie, it’s been a pleasure in more ways than one. Too bad for you, you have to use your imagination.” Giving the young griff a sligh smile. She found it to be fun, throwing playful verbal jabs back and forth with him. And knowing that this griffon wasn’t immune to embarrassment.
And she began to speak about the events she had planned for the arrival of the Royal griffon family. Celestia thought that Princess Silverfeather is only two years older than him and a griffon too. The thought of them being an item was cute but Celestia felt a bit of jealousy in her heart at the concept.
