The psychotic gentlegriff

Anubis exited his room and strut his way down the halls with his wings half extended up, he was quite a bit taller then the guards now.

It definitely didn’t go unnoticed, every guard had to take a second look because the average sized griffon was now a whole head and a half taller then before.

That’s when it dawned on him, the clothes that he got literally yesterday won’t even fit him now. Anubis thought about how he could fix it but nothing came to mind, until he considered using the ability of the green Necrovine Artefact. If he was remembering correctly, it could change the atomic and cellular structure of anything outside his body. Then he should be able to adjust the clothes without too much effort.

He made his way down to the training ground and saw Captain Sky, he immediately took flight toward her and landed with a little bounce.

“Hey Captain, I’m ready for flight lessons.”

“You’re late, somecreature keep you?”

“Oh shut it, you already know the answer.”

“So where is she now?”

“Sleeping in my bed.”

“That good, are you?”

He scratched the back of his neck and gave a sheepish smile. “Hehehehe well I didn’t actually stick it in, I just used my tongue.”

“Wha? Wait what? Y,You didn’t even mount her?”

“Nope, I didn’t feel like it was the right time to.”

“Okay~ anyway we should head to the medical wing, I want to get you looked at by the doctors.”

“Oh sure, let’s go.”

They both began walking towards the medical wing of the castle.

Captain Sky walked in Dr tender’s office and Anubis followed after her.

“Ah Captain Sky, you’re a little early for a check up…. Hello Anubis, you’ve gotten bigger.”

“Yes he has, so I brought him here for a check up, you don’t mind doc?”

“No not at all but if you don’t mind can I speak with him on his own please.”

“By all means, I’ll be outside.”

She left and Dr Tender and Anubis were now just staring at each other.

“You’ve grown an alarming amount Anubis, please take a seat.”

“Um sure….”

“So let’s get straight to it, what was that concoction you made and proceeded to inject into your body?”

“Ha ha ha, good one….”

“Don’t play dumb, now tell me.”

“Ok it did what I intended it to do, which was to put me to sleep but it also had another purpose…. To kill any foreign bacteria and viruses in my body, it does have a chance to kill the subject but an incredibly low chance.”

“And why did you want to do that?”

“Because I wasn’t in my right mind Tender, I thought that I was infected and tried to fix it.”

“Infected with what Anubis?”

“That isn’t any of your concern, I wasn’t even infected.”

“Sigh* well Anubis, at least I got my answer, you did know what you were doing. A little bit reassuring but unsettling.”

“Look I understood what I was doing and you may diss agree with it but I wasn’t just going to risk my life for nothing.”

“For Celestia’s sake Anubis I-I don’t have words, let’s just go and get you checked up.”

“Yeah I just want this over and done with.”

Silverfeather’s POV

I awoke and went to climb out of Anubis’s bed but I must have been half asleep because I fell out and took the sheets with me.

I untangled myself out of his bed sheets and turned to look between my hind legs, the memory of Anubis devouring me still fresh in my mind. My talon had slipped down to my hen-hood but I stopped myself before I got worked up again.

“I really need a shower…. But a bath sounds better.”

Walking into his bathroom I realise that he wasn’t waiting for me when I woke up, I’ll have to tell him off for that. Make me climax and then disappear, how rude.

I filled the tub and dropped a bath bomb in, Anubis really should use these, there so good for you skin. After letting the water cool down to a nice temperature, I lowered myself in and laid back allowing my body to be completely submerged.

I tried to relax but my mind was still replaying the image of those eyes staring at me from between my legs. It sent a shiver down my whole body, having him look at me like…. Like I was a fresh kill after a long hunt…. Oh get those thoughts out of your mind girl, you need to relax and prepare for your date tomorrow!! I didn’t even give him a time! Oh NOOOOOOO!!

“AAARGH pull yourself together Silver, he’s just a Griff. A very handsome, good with his tongue griff, but…. Oh I’m so done for!!”

“So Anubis, we’ve done a full inspection on you and if you take a look at the X-ray here. You’ll find an oddity in all of your legs.”

“Mhmmm what is that? It kinda looks like spikes?”

“Yeah they do but that’s not the problem.” He looked at Dr Tender with a confused expression. “Anubis I believe that they are going to break though your skin and I don’t think it’s going to be painless.”

“Oh that doesn’t sound fun but what if this is natural?”

“Do you remember your parents having a scythe like bones sticking out of them?”

“N-No I don’t but what if they’re retractable? Like my claws.”

“It could be a possibility but I’d imagine that to be difficult and straining on the body.”

“I’m sure if it’s meant to do that, it shouldn’t hurt too much right?”

“Well we’ll just have to find out…. Only if you want to?”

“Um why not, let’s do this.”

“Ok Anubis, just lay down and allow yourself to relax. I’m going to use my magic to try and trigger the muscles that are attached to the bone.”

“Anubis are you really okay with this?”

“Yeah I’m sure Sky, it can’t hurt that bad. Can it doc?”

“Um well the tissue that is around the bone isn’t in contact with it but…. I can’t guarantee that it won’t be painful.”

“Well I’m still down for this, so do your thing Tender I’m ready.”

Dr Tender and Captain Sky gave each other a look before Tender ignited his horn and began to stimulate the muscles with a light shock spell.

“Heheheheheh~ that tickles stop heheheheh~”

Okay, just tell me if you’re in pain Anubis.”

“Hehehehe y-yeah s-sure doc.”

Two sharp blade like bones shot out and blood gushed out, splattering on Dr Tender’s medical coat.

“AAAAAAARRGGGHHHH!!!! FUCKING HELLLLLLLL!!!!!”

Anubis began to fall unconscious and Captain Sky sprung into action. “Anubis breathe! Just keep breathing, look into my eyes. Doc he’s passing out.”

Captain move! Let me handle this.”

“Fuck, fine.”

Dr Tender Care immediately tried to stop the bleeding, he began to apply pressure to the exposed tissue. He wanted to stitch up the wound but he didn’t know what to do with the exposed bone blades. Then Anubis’s bleeding subsided and the blood began to climb up his body and claws, back into the wound.

“Doc what’s happening?”

“I’ve seen it before Captain, his blood flows back into him but I didn’t think it would work with large amounts of blood loss.”

“What!!!! Does the princess know about this.”

“Yes she does but she doesn’t want him to rely on it.”

“Is he going to be fine?”

“Yes but we should get him hooked up to a heart monitor and IV, he needs to rest.”

“Of course doctor.”

Silverfeather’s POV

I was now searching for my mum because I needed help and she was the only one that could help me. I came up to the room she and my dad was staying in and I opened the doors….

“Oh ew! I’m so so sorry, I’ll be in the dining hall. Bye!”

I slammed the doors and flew down the hall and into the dining hall, I-I need to wash my eyes…. No my mind…. Argh I feel gross, it’s 2 o’clock! Why are they doing that? Especially when I need to speak with her.

“Excuse me princess Silverfeather, you look a little red, are you feeling alright.”

“I’m fine…. Goldenbeak? What are you doing here?”

“I’m keeping guard here, are you alright.”

“Oh well I’m fine, just bad timing.”

“What do you mean by bad timing?”

“I walked in on them and that’s it.”

“Oh um well I don’t think that I’m allowed to be told that Princess.”

“Yeah I guess you’re right, sorry…. So how have you been Goldenbeak?”

“I’ve been doing good thanks for asking your highness but what about yourself?”

“Oh I’m great, I got a date with that griff that Celestia has staying at the castle, you know the silvery gray one with those lovely wings.”

“Oh um w-well I’m glad for you p-princess but has your parents approved of this?”

“Well~ no but I’m sure they’ll be fine with it.”

“Has the king approved of this griff because I don’t think he’s good for you, last time I saw him he couldn’t fly.”

“And now he can, I think you’re just jealous because you’ve been trying to woo me ever since you became a guard.”

“N-No! I’m not jealous your highness, it’s just that he’s not from a noble house.”

“I don’t care about that, he doesn’t need to have noble heritage or money. So I suggest that you give up and move on because I’m not interested.”

“B-but I’m the most eligible.”

“Leave Goldenbeak!”

“Oh y-yes of c-course princess.”

What was that idiot trying to say, I don’t care about who is best to be with me. That’s my choice, not anygriffon else’s. Anubis is who I want.

I need to find him and tell him where to meet me and where we’re going, during my bath I remembered that he doesn’t even know the streets of Canterlot. I guess I’ll be the one leading him around, oh so exciting!

But it’ll be awkward to have guards with us, I hope Goldenbeak isn’t going to be guarding us. I’ll have some of princess Celestia’s guards and some that dad will claw pick. Definitely because he’ll pick the best and not because they’ll all be hens, w-what if Anubis finds one of them attractive? No Silver don’t make up scenarios, you’re a princess so there’s no competition. I’m royalty, I’m pretty and he clearly likes me, so I have nothing to worry about.

I’m getting hungry waiting for them…. To finish, argh I’m never going to be able to look them in the eyes ever again.

“Excuse me, could I please have something light to snack on?” I called over to a pony butler that was standing by the wall.

“Of course your highness, what would you like?”

“Mhmmmmm I would like a fruit salad please.”

“I’ll have it prepared right away princess.”

Now I have food on the way I can plan on where I should take Anubis, it’s got to be somewhere nice but not overwhelming. So maybe a café or a quaint little restaurant but we’re going to garner attention no matter where we go because of the guards.

Maybe Celestia might have an idea on where we could go? It’s worth a try but first, my fruit salad.

“Here you are my lady, your highness’s fresh fruit salad. Please enjoy.”

“Thank you very kindly.”

Mhmmm this looks good, like a picnic…. That’s it, we’ll go on a picnic, nice simple and romantic. I’ll ask Celestia if there’s any secluded places in Canterlot but the guards will still have to be there. Argh dammit if there are guards with us that means that all chances for something fun happening are zero. That’s not fair, non of my romance novels have guards looming over you, watching your every move. I guess we could explore the city and then go to a secluded place for a picnic, then head back to my room…. No his room but that bed is a bit small.

“Well it’s better than nothing but that’s not how any of my books play out, tartrus Anubis might not even think like that.”

I mean he didn’t even mount me and I gave him all the signs, I even raised my tail and he just focused on making me feel good…. So now it’s my turn! Yeah! I’ll make him feel good, no unbelievably good!!

“That’s my plan and nothings going to stop me!”

“Excuse me, Silver but what plan and why would anything stop you?”

“Mum!! What are y-you doing h-here? And what plan, ha ha ha no plans here.”

“Oh stop lying dear, you wanted to speak with me.”

“Um well yes, you see I’ve got…. A date with Anubis and I have no idea what to do!”

“You got a date? My daughter has a date, oh look at you sweetie. So have you got Anubis swooning over you?”

“He he he um well no. I think I’m the one swooning mum.”

“Oh so he’s got you begging for his attention.”

“NO!!! I don’t beg for his attention, I’m just wanting his attention that’s all.”

“Oh my goodness, Silver you really want him. Oh sweetie I hope you get him but don’t rush it and remember that you might have to compete with Celestia for him if you’re not willing to share.”

“I-I know mum.”

To think that I originally wanted to lose my hen-hood to him because he’s hot and now I want him to love me. Am I wrong for thinking that way? I don’t know.

“Soooo you want some advice on how to get him to be infatuated with you?”

“Oh um yes, yes please.”

“Ok then but let’s not tell your father.”

“Yeah I think that’s for the best, although he’s a little more okay with the idea, I don’t think he will let me date Anubis.”

“That’s my girl but you’re right he wouldn’t approve because of what happened in Celestia study.”

I winced at the mention of that incident and my mum grinned, she’s never going to let me live it down.

“Don’t give me that look Dear, I’m sure you’ll do fine…. On the date, not in bed because you’re not going to bed him on the first date.”

“What of course I wasn’t going to and don’t speak about that stuff to me, especially after….” A shiver went down my spine at the thought of what I saw not 10 minutes ago.

“Well yes, sorry you had to see….”

“MUM!!”

“Okay okay, sorry but I’m just making sure you don’t do anything stupid.”

“Don’t worry I’m not going to…. Unless it goes really well….”

She gave me a glare and I gave a nervous laugh.

“As your mother it’s my responsibility to make sure you make the right choice, follow your heart not lust.”

“But what if he is my heart? I’m a full grown hen now, not to mention you and dad met when you were young.”

“You’re nineteen and me and your father met each other at a really young age, we had a lot of time to build a relationship. You and Anubis barely know each other.”

“SO WHAT!!! he at least treats me somewhat normal, like a friend. I’ve never had a friend mum because you and dad won’t let me!!! IT’S NOT FAIR!!!! Sniffle* it’s not fair.”

I broke down crying and felt a soft embrace wrapping around me.

“Oh Silverfeather, no no no don’t cry sweetie. I didn’t know you felt this way, oh had you told me sooner I would’ve done something but you’re a princess. Making friends is difficult, I know Anubis doesn’t care about that but I’m not saying that you can’t pursue him just be careful.”

“B-but sniffle* what if I mess something up or he’s not interested?”

“Oh sweetie, how could he not like you. You’re beautiful.”

“R-Really? But what if-“

“No what if’s, I’ll arrange a guard escort for you.”

“M-Make sure that they’re not better looking than me, please.”

“So male guards it is.”

“Um well if you think it’ll be for the best mum.”

“Mhmmm did you want them to be hens?”

“Well you know how competitive griff’s get especially when there’s a hen involved.”

“Yes…. and what’s wrong with that? I found it exciting personally.”

“Well I…. I just want to make sure that my date doesn’t have any issues because of any jealous griffs.”

“Okay very well, I’ll handle it.”

“Thank you mum…. And can you help me get ready tomorrow?”

“Oh of course, when I’m done with you, He’ll be speechless.”

“Well I’d like to be able to talk to him.”

“Hehehehehehe, don’t worry sweetie it’s a figure of speech.”

Back in the medical wing.

“Anubis can you move them?”

“Umm maybe, I haven’t tried to Sky.”

“Okay, I’m going to ask you to try and stand up for me?”

“Yeah give me a second Dr tender.”

“Take your time.”

Anubis tried to roll on to his claws but the scythe like bones hit the tiled floor.

“Well that’s a problem, so any ideas on how to fix this?”

“Not a clue, what about you Doc?”

“Mhmmm maybe try flexing the muscles in your forelegs.”

“Um okay?”

Anubis began to twitch the blades protruding out of his forelegs, they began to move and Dr Tender had a fascinated look on his face. Captain Sky backed up and tried to drag Tender with her.

“Hey these things are pretty responsive, look I’m getting the hang of this.”

“O-okay easy there Anubis, take it easy now.”

“You sound nervous doc, what’s the worst that could happen….”

Anubis waved his claw and then accidentally stabbed himself in the back of the neck, blood drenched his coat and he brutally yanked it out.

“No! Anubis don’t pull…. It out sigh* why did you pull it out.”

“Argh fuck~ because it’s not like it’ll kill me, I’ll just heal.”

“Anubis! You can’t rely on that, what if one day you just don’t heal. Then what?”

“That won’t happen! I appreciate the concern and Sky can we keep this under wraps please because I don’t want her highness to know about the extent of my healing.”

“Why?”

“Because I just don’t okay, it’s definitely not natural and if she finds out then god knows what she’ll do.”

“But she should know, Dr Tender back me up…. You knew didn’t you Doctor!”

“W-Well yeah~ but you see Princess thinks Anubis’s healing is only for small cuts, he made me agree to keep his anatomy a secret.”

“Why aren’t you telling the princess doc?”

“B-because she would never let us do any risky experiments, you know because of his passed. She wants to keep him away from anything like that.”

“Sigh* so you’re lying to the princess and you, Anubis she’s done so much for you and this is what you’re doing behind her back?”

“I know it looks bad but Celestia doesn’t need to worry about me, she’s a princess.”

“Yeah but-“

“But what! Sky, she thinks I’m some sort of fucked up experiment!!! I can’t have her pitying me!”

“Argh okay!! Fine I’ll keep quiet but Anubis you’re not an experiment and the princess would never pity you. So I’ll let you tell her on your own terms.”

“Thanks Captain…. I would hug you but um well you know.” He gestured at the scythe like blades.

“Yeah I’d rather not be skewered, thanks…. Wow to think that this griffon has convinced you to go rogue Dr Tender.”

“I haven’t gone rogue, I’m just doing a little side research. Nothing bad or traitorous.”

“Okay fine but I’m taking my leave, you two have fun trying to fix his scythe problem.”

“We’ll have fun Captain, bye bye! So doctor how do we fix this?”

“Um I not really sure, trial and error I guess?”

“Yay that’s just perfect, well isn’t it.”

“We’re going to be here for awhile, aren’t we?”

“Well I can’t bloody well walk around the castle like this!”

“Okay just relax, maybe that’ll help?”

“Yeah worth a shot.”

KNOCK* KNOCK* KNOCK*

“Doctor is Anubis in there by any chance? I’d like to speak with him.”

They both looked at each other and panic filled their eyes.

“P-princess Celestia, please could you give us a bit of time!”

“Oh of course Dr Tender Care, please take all the time you need.”

“Thank you!! Psss Anubis you need to figure out how to control those things and hide them.”

“I’m trying, fuck I can’t relax under pressure.”

Anubis began to panic as he just couldn’t seem to conceal his exposed bone blades.

“Doctor is everything okay in there?”

“Yes princess, everything’s fine.”
