The psychotic gentlegriff

Celestia trotted through the castle halls, some of the maids and guards mares blushed upon seeing her as she walked passed and she knew why.

As she rounded a corner she bumped into Captain Sky.

“Oh sorry, I didn’t see you there.”

“Oh no it’s quite alright your highness, um so we’ve ordered every member of staff to keep quiet about you and Anubis.”

“T-Thank you Captain.”

“No need to thank me princess, um if you don’t mind me asking but how was it…. You know, your first time?”

Celestia looked behind her and saw a bunch of mares ears-dropping. “Let’s go somewhere a little more discreet.”

“Hey back to work ladies!!!” The mares ran away and Celestia and the Captain of the Wonderbolts walked to her private study.

They got comfortable and began gossiping about Celestia’s experience with the exotic griff.

“So what did he do after he ate you?”

“Oh I’ve said too much Sky…. But if you must know, he was incredible. Oh the way he pounded me was so rough and look at this.” Celestia showed Sky the bite mark Anubis left on her.

“Gasp* oh my, did he do that?”

“yes he did.”

“Wow did it hurt?” Sky was leaning towards Celestia.

“Oh yes~ it did and he cleaned it up afterwards, it kinda felt like he was drinking my blood.”

“Ooooohhhh really? What like a vampony or should I say vampgriff heheheheh.”

“Gasp* yes just like in those romance novels Silver showed me.”

“And what about princess Silverfeather? Did he mount her too.”

“Well i passed out after he finished…. In me.”

“Oh wow, that good?”

“You have no idea~ sigh* and when he finishes he looked me in the eyes and asked for a second round.”

Anubis landed on the balcony to Celestia’s private study and saw the oblivious Alicorn and Wonderbolt Captain chatting.

She looked like she was having fun and Anubis planned on surprising her. He sneaked towards her, step by step.

Anubis raised himself up behind Celestia and he brushed his fangs against her neck, she jumped giving a loud yelp.

She spun around and before anycreature could react, she blasted him with a bolt of pure magic. Sending him flying through the window with second degree burns down to the cobblestone ground below.

Anubis’s burnet body hit the floor with a wet thud and blood began to pour from him, forming a crimson pool.

Sky flew out after him and immediately began to perform basic first aid as guards rushed around, securing the area. Meanwhile the medical wing was in fall swing, preparing to tend to a critically injured patient. Thankfully it was located just opposite the princess’s study and a nurse saw him hit the ground.

Celestia was in shock, she immediately teleported down to him and tears began to fall as she wept at the roasted bloody form of her griff. His fur and feathers still smouldering from her magic. “No.” She weakly whispered out.

“Princess please allow us to treat him, nurse! Help me lift him onto the stretcher now!”

Celestia stepped back and fell to the ground, crying into her hooves as Anubis was taken away by the medics. They rushed him into the emergency room to try and save him if he didn’t already die from the initial impact.

Celestia could have sworn that she saw bone sticking out of him in several places on his body and his wings, oh those majestic wings of his. Burned and twisted grossly, then there was that look on his face…. What had she done, she predicted that he would do something like that but she still panicked and attacked.

“Princess! Are you alright?”

She looked up to find her Captains, both of them worried about her? But she wasn’t to one who was hurt.

“Princess Celestia! It’s alright, he’s going to be fine. He’s a strong griff and it was an accident, it wasn’t your fault.”

She felt anger well up, what was he on about not her fault. She hit him with a fire ball spell, a high level spell designed to kill. A spell that she hated but still had to use time and time again.

“I’m fine! Sob!* I’m okay b-but sob* is he going to be fine?”

They couldn’t believe what they were seeing, the princess of Equestria, goddess of the sun. Looked like a scared filly and they couldn’t bring themselves to speak.

“WELL!! Is he? Sob* sniffle*”

“P-Princess, I can’t promise anything but he’s in good hooves and I’m sure that he’ll be fine in no time.”

“Graceful’s right your highness, remember what you were telling me. I doubt that this is going to keep him grounded for long.”

“Sniffle* y-yeah he’s a strong griff, he’ll make it. He has too.”

“Come on now, let’s get you inside. We’ll inform you if we hear anything about his condition but Dr tender Care is the head surgeon, so nothing to worry about.”

All Celestia could do was weakly nod and follow her Captains.

Dr Tender had successfully got everypony out of the operating room and could now focus on stopping the bleeding or look like he was trying to. Anubis’s body had already begun to recover, Tender basically only had to push and rearrange some bones.

“Ffffuucking hell that hurts so much.”

“Yep Anubis it’s going to, you did receive second degree burns from her highness.”

“I’m a fucking idiot.”

“Glad we could agree on something but if you don’t mind, could you slow down your body’s healing please.”

“sorry I forgot.”

“Good, you don’t want to raise suspicion and you better find a way to stop her highness from blaming herself for this. We both know that you can survive an unnatural amount of injuries.”

“So how longs the recovery time?”

“You’ll have to wear bandages for 4 to 5 months and that’s on the quick side of things.”

“Okay I hear you…. Hey pass me those forceps.”

“Here, take them.”

“Thanks.” Anubis used them to push a small bit of bone back into place. “You know that I could just fix and rearrange my own bones if I just heal a little bit.”

“Well please refrain from doing so because I can’t make up a logical explanation for you miraculously getting better. We barely got away with your sudden growth spurt and the blades so let’s not push it.”

“Very well doc but you could have used something to stop the pain.”

“Well too bad and you seem to be used to it….”

“You don’t think she’s going to hate herself for this, do you?”

“Sigh* it’s tough to say Anubis but she might, we can only hope.”

“I’m such a prick. had I not decided to be a moron, Celestia would never have shot me with a sun gun.”

“Sun gun? What’s that?”

“Nothing, but I can explain what a gun is.”

“Mmmm go on then, it’s not often that I have a talkative patient.”

6 long agonising hours later, Anubis was wheeled out of the emergency room wrapped up in bandages. He thought that if he didn’t know better, dr Tender was trying to mummify him. He was pretending to be unconscious as the nurses hooked him up to a heart monitor and IV bag.

He laid there motionless as the chaos of ponies rushing around, making sure everything was set up correctly.

After the doctors and nurses left the room, Anubis opened his eyes and began taking in his surroundings. He found that he was alone in the dark, was it night time already? No it couldn’t be because there’s a tiny sliver of light coming from behind the curtains.

He heard the door open and immediately closed his eyes, he heard somecreature walking up to him and it took every ounce of his resolve to not look.

“A-Anubis are you awake? T-the doctor said that you’re going to be okay, C-Celestia is so so sorry for what she did…. Please don’t be mad at her when you wake up, she’s been crying all day a-and…. sniffle* she didn’t know sob* she didn’t know it was you, she couldn’t have. So you’re not allowed to be angry at her, you stupid, lovable griff. Sob* a-and you’re not allowed to die either b-because if you do, then what am I supposed to do? What is Celestia supposed to do!? So get better…. Please?”

It hurt him to hear Silver like this and he wanted so desperately to hug her, to tell her that he would be fine and that she had nothing to worry about but he couldn’t risk giving anything away.

“Excuse me but the patient needs not, to be disturbed princess Silverfeather.”

“Oh sorry I-I just wanted to make sure he’s doing alright nurse.”

“Aaaaw that’s very sweet of you but that’s why we’re here your highness, now come along and are you alright? You seem to have a limp.”

“Heheheheh yes I’m fine, it’s nothing serious I’m just a bit sore.”

They left Anubis, thinking that he was asleep. Once the door was closed he opened his eyes and a wave of anger came over him, not only was Celestia crying but Silver was too and by the sounds of it Celestia thinks that he’s mad at her. Why did he think that it was a good idea to scare her?

“Sigh* well no time to feel like shit, I need to think of a way to convince Swan neck that it wasn’t her fault.”

“Oh Anubis so your awake?” Anubis looked in the direction of the voice, he saw Sky just sitting there.

“Captain! Arg, I-is Celestia doing alright?”

“….she’s not handling it well but she brightened up a little when she was told you’ll be okay, you know that was fucking stupid what you did Anubis.”

“I know…. Scaring Celestia like that, what was I thinking.”

“Yes that was stupid but I didn’t mean that, I meant pretending to be asleep when Princess Silverfeather was speaking to you.”

“Oh you were there…. Look I did that because I’m meant to be under, you know the strong stuff.”

“Wait? You’re not?”

“Heheheheh no, I was awake for the entire procedure.”

“Oh my goodness! Y-You felt everything?”

“Yeah but I’m used to it, believe me it’s nothing new.”

“Anubis that’s horrible, why didn’t they put you to sleep? You had bone sticking out of you.”

“My theory is that they didn’t want to risk me going unconscious and never waking up.” It was a lie but he wasn’t about to rat out Tender.

“Oh well I guess that makes sense but still, being awake whilst they stitch you up and push your bones back into place.”

“Yeah it hurt, anyway are you standing guard over me for the night or just worried I might stop breathing in my sleep?”

“Don’t joke about that stuff Anubis and yes I’m standing guard for the night…. Even though it’s still light out.”

“Yay company, it’s a shame that I don’t like being watched In my sleep.”

“Well too bad.”

“Sigh*”

“….so um how was it? Y-you know…. For research purposes.”

“Oh well it burned, it felt like hitting a wall and the weightlessness was surprisingly relaxing.”

“No not that, i don’t want to know what being hit by the princess’s magic feels like. I want to know how it felt to…. You know, have sex with two princesses?”

“Oh that’s what you want to know, mhhhh well they were tight. Silver was super tight but that’s due to the size difference as for Celestia…. Oh the noises she made were adorable but don’t tell her that.”

“Um d-did you drink her blood?”

“OOOOh so that’s what you’re into? Well I might have, she did taste incredible. I mean the flavour and the richness of her blood…. And her mare-hood was tasty too.”

“I DON’T WANT TO KNOW THAT!?! You’re terrible Anubis.”

“Oh and Silver’s got one hell of a tongue on her.”

“Please stop.”

“But you asked.”

“And I now wish I didn’t.”

“Mhmm so where’s the love of your life?”

“Blazing, she’s at the academy filling in for me. You know because I’m currently here and not in Cloudsdale.”

“Awww I’m so sorry, it must be torture for you.”

“Sigh* you have no idea, I haven’t gotten off in a week. It’s not fair! I have needs too you know.”

“Yikes, must be rough but if you want. I’ll just go sleep and you can go and tend to yourself, i mean I’m not going anywhere in this state and no creature is going to walk in.”

“Um and you won’t say a word to anypony?”

“You have my word, so what are you waiting for? Go.”

“Um well I mean I can’t just leave my post Anubis.”

“Yeah I guess so but the offer is still there if you want it.”

“Thanks but I’m not going to take it.”

“Mhhhhk well I’m gonna go sleep now.”

“Rest easy Anubis.”

“Thanks Captain.”

Upon falling asleep Anubis appeared in front of a laughing Zodiac.

“Hahahahah! Oh by the great ones that was hilarious, the way you went splat on the ground hahahahhahahh!”

“I’m glad that you found it funny.”

“Oh ho yes…. Anyway we need to talk about that little project of yours….. Jernick if I’m remembering correctly.”

“What about him?”

“You sure that you want to make more of your kind, more specifically. Ascended ones.”

“What do you mean?”

“Jernick is now related to you buy blood, you made him in your image. A very dangerous game to play.”

“I see where you’re coming from but don’t mistake my choice as me playing god.”

“Good, then those other ones you’re going to be changing will be inferior to you and Jernick. You may not know it but your blood isn’t just blood anymore Anubis and the last artefact is located on the southern continent…. Thought that you might like to know…. And don’t fall from grace now, you are so much better than those pitiful creatures down there. You already possess two of the Necrovine artefacts, just one more to go.”

“Thanks…. for the advice…. As for yourself Zodiac, I’d advise that you not look down on the creatures of this planet. After all I’m one of them too and I’ve shocked you before, so don’t get too complacent my cosmic friend.”
