Chapter 4: The Deal

"Father, aren't you worried that if we don't get the elements soon they could stop you?"
Discord looked at his son and smiled.
"How old are you?"
"Ten."
"And Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy all have kids right?"
"Yes, most are older than me."
"Good, don't worry, the elements won't work. Not even nerdy little Twilight Sparkle will be able figure out who the new Elements of Harmony are."

"Princess Celestia!"
Twilight Sparkle and the others ran in panting.
"W-we got here as fast as we could! Are the elements safe?"
"Yes please quickly put them on, we need to find Discord!"
"And my little Mackenzie.” SkyMint added.
"Oh Minty I'm so sorry about Mackenzie. We will do our best to get him back to you.” said Fluttershy as she came to SkyMint and gave her a hug. Twilight quickly put on her crown and the others their necklaces.
"Look everypony! Isn't that Discord out in the garden?” Pinkie Pie had been looking at the chocolate rain out the window when she saw him.
Princess Celestia then teleported the seven ponies and herself out onto the garden. In front of them was Discord and Mackenzie.
"Hello everypony! Miss me? I missed you."
Discord then laughed at them.
"Quickly Formation!” yelled Twilight.
"Oh no please don't turn me to stone!” Discord said sarcastically, "Hit me with your best shot!"
Discord then told Mackenzie to get out of the way, just in case his hunch was incorrect.

With all her power Twilight summoned all the magic in her. She and the other five ponies lifted into the air, their necklaces glowing and Twilight's eyes shining bright. Then just when it seemed it was all over for Discord the elements failed and all six ponies fell to the ground.
"What the hay?!” Rainbow Dash said as she got up after falling face first into the dirt.
"The Elements didn't work?” exclaimed Rarity.
"Princess what did we do wrong?” Twilight asked.
"Hahahahahahahaha I knew it!” Discord was leaping with joy that he had been right about the elements not working.
"Discord! What did you DO?!” Princess Celestia was glaring at the draconequus.
"Nothing my dear Celestia, I guess your little heroes have out grown saving you.” he grinned at the angry alicorn.
Princess Celestia, with horn glowing, ran over to Discord, hoping to defeat him herself. Discord then lifted the princess with his magic and threw her against a tree. Everypony gasped to see their princess beat that quickly. At that moment a loud crack of thunder sounded and it started to rain even harder. The rise of chaos had started.

Twilight ran to the aid of the princess, but before she could get to her a flash of lightning brought a group of evil royal guards and they surrounded the unconscious alicorn. One of the guards took Princess Celestia's crown and necklace and gave them to Discord. In Discord's hands the gold turned platinum and the jewels turned red.
"SkyMint!” Ning and Missy came running out onto the garden, only to be caught by some of Discord's guards.
"Leave them alone Discord!” SkyMint ran to Discord and feel to his feet, "Please..."
Discord smiled and put on the platinum necklace.
"Oh don't worry, I will SkyMint, but only if you honor our agreement."
"What is he talking about SkyMint?” Ning asked while trying to get free of the guard pony.
SkyMint's eyes began to water and she sighed and explained, "When Discord and I first meet, right before all you ponies came to save me, we made a deal... for if he became ruler of Equestria... The deal was that you, the rest of my family, the princesses, and Twilight and her friends, would be safe and unharmed if... If I become Discord's queen..."
"Yes and what a wonderful queen you will be my dear SkyMint!"
"No SkyMint you don't have to do it!” Ning was really fighting now.
Discord stretched out his paw.
"I'm sorry Ning, but I have to..."
SkyMint put her hoof in Discord's paw to close the deal. Discord then put the platinum crown on her head and kissed his new queen on the cheek.
