Chapters CHAPTER ONE
Twilight coughed as the thick layer of dust peeled away from the shelf as she pulled the old book from the shelf of the ancient bookcase before sneezing. "Ooh bless me. I'm nearly done Rarity, thank you so much for helping me out today. I've managed to get twice the work done in half the time." She said gleaming to her unicorn friend.
Rarity finished putting the last of her pile of books down before shuffling the dust out of her mane with her magic. "Ohh it was no bother at all Twilight darling. It's the least I can do after you took the time to help my Sweetie Belle with her chemistry revision. I was almost certain she would fail, especially since she's started spending time with that colt in her class lately..."
Twilight giggled interrupting her. "Ohh Rarity, was it so different when we were her age? Surely there was a special somepony you had a crush on...right?" Twilight saw Rarity's sullen look and sensed that she had said the wrong thing.
Rarity thought for a few moments, there hadn't been anypony because she had been so wrapped up in herself so much that she'd missed out. "Not quite...you see Twilight, I'm the Lady I am today because I've had to work hard and sacrifice a lot to become this amazing fashionista that I am today." She said trying not to make eye contact with Twilight.
Twilight sensed her friends bravado over her discomfort on the matter and kindly reverted back to the subject at hoof. "Okay Rarity, that pile of books you have, they're all going in the vault. That's where we put all the outdated subjects such as dark magic, the old ways and suchlike go, as in they'll never be used again."
Rarity tilted her head to one side gawping at her friend. "So they just go into storage for ever? But this one is so pretty and look at it, it even has a diamond embossed on it's plush blue cover." She said almost pleading it's case. Twilight thought a moment before softly rolling her eyes. "Okay Rarity, you can keep it. I don't see why not, take it as a token of my appreciation. It looks like the spells are outdated but I know its in safe hooves with you." Rarity's smile beamed through her eyes. "Ohh thank you Twilight! That's so kind of you." She carefully picked the book up in her magic and placed it in her satchel before picking up the pile of books in her magic and following Twilight down into the vaults.
Sometime later Twilight and Rarity had left the library accompanying each other halfway before parting for the evening. "Well Rarity, this is me. Thanks again for all your help today." Twilight smiled as she turned down the track. Rarity glowed. "Glad to be of help and thank you again for the lovely book, I've got just the place to put it."
As Rarity trotted back towards Ponyville she thought back to what Twilight had asked her, if she'd had a special somepony back in the day making her wonder for a few fleeting moments of what might have been. Like the colt who used to sit beside her in class, and how he would hold the door open for her and other little things that matter. She snapped out of her musings and sighed rolling her eyes at herself. "Why should that matter now for goodness sake? I am a self-made mare and a successful one at that." She shook her head discarding the silly hypothetical notions. She could see the Carousel Boutique just up ahead she hurried across the empty street and headed straight inside. She dropped her satchel on the kitchen table and trotted upstairs to run a hot bath to wash away the days dirt and grime.
She stepped into the hot bath and melted under the bubbles closing her eyes and becoming one with the water. Rarity knew exactly where her little sister would be by now, in the kitchen raiding her cupboards for milk and cookies no less. As she got to the doorway she gasped and stepped to the side as she was taken aback on seeing Rumble up on her sisters back. She carried on watching them from the jar of the door thinking of how she never had anything like this when she was their age. Her mind swirled with questions. "Is this even normal? Should I be allowing this? Oh my little sister is growing up so fast." Rarity anxiously thought to herself.
Watching a little longer as Rumble slid to one side and was now grinding against Sweetie's hip and was enjoying it a little to much for her liking despite feeling something stirring inside herself as she watched the young couple. Rarity smiled and stepped forward. "I do apologise for my tardiness, I wasn't expecting company. I am the Lady Rarity, Sweetie Belles big sister and you are?"
The young pegasus blushed and gulped looking at the beautiful mare before him. "I..I'm Rumble..It's nice to meet you." He said trying to keep his cool as the wet maned mare fluttered her eyelashes at him provocatively as Rarity smiled softly. "I wasn't expecting company tonight, however you are more than welcome to stay for supper. I'm just about to start." Rumble and Sweetie looked at each other and were about to answer in unison when Rarity decided for them. "It's settled then, dinners at seven. I'll start setting the table. Now run along and get started on your school project!" She said smiling widely at the young pair.
The three stood in confusion a short moment before Rumble broke the silence. "Uhhm Lady Rarity, err where's your bathroom?" Rarity cleared her throat. "Why it's straight up the stairs and first door on your right." The colt nodded a nervous thanks before trotting off.
Sweetie Belle watched him head up the stairs and out of earshot before confronting her big sister. "Rarity! What are you doing?" She frustratingly asked trying to keep her voice down. Rarity was taken aback by her sister a moment. "Well Sweetie, I thought that's what you would like darling...Unless you would prefer me to kick him out and then send you to your room for dry humping in my kitchen, would that be better?" Sweetie gasped, she hadn't realised that Rarity had caught them misbehaving. "Y-you saw that Rarity? I-I..."
Rarity put a hoof gently to her sisters cheek. "Sweetie Belle, my darling. I am your big sister and sometimes I also have to play mother whilst you're in my stead. But you see, I've never had what you have in your life right now. I've never had a special somepony and didn't have any real friends until I moved here. Uhh, what I'm trying to say Sweetie Belle, is that I'm on unknown ground here as on how to act and guide you, but I know you have something special with your new coltfriend and you both have something I have never had. So, all I ask in return from you is...just keep it to the 'dry' humping okay? I don't need another foal cantering around to be looked after." She said softly smiling at her precious sister as she ran her hoof through her mane. "You're growing up so fast."
Sweetie looked up lovingly to her sister. "Thank you Rarity, You're the best sister ever and I promise that I will be careful." She said hugging tight into her big sister. They broke their embrace hearing Rumble trundling back down the stairs taking the time to recompose themselves.
Rarity whipped her wet mane away from her eye. "Okay you two, off you go to study now and remember, not to much funny business up there though...you don't want to ruin your appetite!" Rarity giggled as the couple headed upstairs blushing.
Later
Rarity had prepared one of her favourite meals for dinner, the pans were bubbling and brewing nicely as she began to set the table. She stopped and bit her lip as she heard Sweetie and Rumble laughing as well as a few squeaks from the bed here and there. She sighed wondering if she was doing the right thing before continuing to set the table. It was then she saw her satchel with her lovely new book poking out, she checked the pans and found she had some time to peruse through it before the food was ready.
She placed it down in front of her, inspecting the soft blue of the old leather cover with the black embossed diamond dead centre. She was quite excited as she knew she was going to be the first pony in a hundred years to look upon it's pages. Her horn glowed as she carefully opened it, before carefully and slowly turned the pages. Her eyes widened upon finding a multitude of various spells and incantations.
She was thrilled with such a find, she read one for worn hooves, a herbal tea for coughs and sneezes and even a remedy for estrus pains. She smiled in wonder at the various concoctions she could use to help her friends as she eagerly turned the pages before stopping abruptly. "Noo..could it be? Is that even possible?"
Her eyes were glued wide to the words on the page reading out under her breath. "Age manipulation??" She intricately read through the two pages studying the old wording not believing her eyes or her luck, she then snapped from her thoughts when she heard the pans bubbling over. She used her magic to turn the hob off then packed up the book back into her satchel and hid it in the cupboard under the sink. "Sweetie! Rumble! Dinners ready!"
Sometime later the three ponies had finished their delicious meals and were sitting relaxing at the dining table with full bellies. Rarity had kept the conversation going asking them various questions about their school project such as whose idea it was? What made them choose it and suchlike, but now they were full and sleepy as the night drew in Rarity asked them more personal questions. Thank you Lady Rarity for inviting me to stay." Rarity put down her glass and smiled at them both. She found it nice to have company over especially with one as handsome as Rumble.
Rarity broke from her musings when a branch blew through the kitchen window sending the howling wind and rain into her home. Rumble looked at her realising that he was more than likely staying there for the night. "Yes Lady Rarity...its just they probably didn't think I'd be staying out over night." Rarity put a hoof on his shoulder. "Not to worry darling you'll be safer in here than out there in that terrible storm and you can just call me Rarity from here on out, okay?" Rumble looked at her a moment. "Okay Lay.....uh yes Rarity." She smiled tussling his mane again. "Now then, you two can get back to your project and when it's bedtime I'll show you to the guest room." She said smiling.
Rarity returned to the kitchen to clean up the dishes whilst humming a harmonic tune to herself. After everything was cleaned and stored away she sat back down and finished her glass of wine her horn lit up as she used her magic to bring over her satchel intrigued by the notion of being able to turn back the clock so to speak.
Rarity woke up with a jump she must've nodded off. The storm sounded like it was moving away she yawned and saw the time. "Ugh! It's almost two! I need to move Rumble to the guest room." She stood up yawning stretching out her back as she made a beeline for the stairs. The Carousel Boutique was silent, it made her think of Opal and how she must be enjoying herself on her excursion with Fluttershy at the animal retreat. The stairs creaked under her hooves snapping her from her thoughts. She cast a silent spell on her hooves and crept upstairs to Sweetie Belles room. Rarity decided to just leave them both as they were. "Poor things they're all worn out." I have errands to run and dresses to make despite this awful weather, I'm a very busy pony today." She turned to rumble putting a hoof on his shoulder. "And don't you worry your pretty little head my dear, I'll send word to your parents that you're safe and sound here with Sweetie Belle and I and you're being well taken care of. Oh and if you get peckish help yourself to the cupboards, Sweetie Belle will keep you right. Just remember dinner is at six tonight and I want you both nice and hungry alright? Be sure to wash your plates up after you've finished eating. Chao for now darlings!" She cheerily called out to them both before leaving Sweetie Belle's room.
As Rarity reached the bottom of the stairs she became overwhelmed and giddy almost whinnying with the excitement. "Ohh my stars! Did that just happen? Twilights eyes slowly came down to meet Rarity's nervous gaze. "Wow Rarity, you really okay with this? I understand that you're new to all this and lack of...experience. well I'm here for you if you want to talk." Twilight sneezed. "Ohh bless me" Rarity smiled at her friends kind words. "Thank you Twilight, would you care for a cup of tea I found a recipe for coughs and colds in my new book." Twilight raised an eyebrow a little surprised that there was a possible recipe for such a thing. "Thank you Rarity, Well I don't suppose it'll hurt to try I suppose."
Rarity headed to the kitchen with Twilight in tow pulling out a chair for her friend whilst passing her a towel to dry off. "Thank you again Rarity. So this spell book, it really has something for coughs and colds? I wonder which other lost wonders it has in it?"
Whilst Rarity began to make the tea, she softly bit her lip playing with the notion of whether to tell her friend what was really playing on her mind. Putting the finishing touches to the tea her horn glowed taking the cup and the book and sat down at the table opposite Twilight placing the book and the cup down on the place mat before her. "Thanks again Rarity. Would you mind?" She asked looking at the plush book. Rarity smiled sipping her daffodil tea. "Not at all darling! I've only managed a glimpse of it, I didn't really have time to take a good look with my sister and her unexpected guest however one did catch my eye, a one which says helps with estrus pains, so if it works perhaps I could make a batch for us and the girls?" Twilight's horn glowed to life picking up the book carefully reading through various pages. "That's quite impressive. I'm pleased you convinced me to save it Rarity, we may need to go back to the vault and recheck the others sometime if you're up for it? Who knows which other helpful spells and remedies we might find."
Rarity smiled sparkling. "Ohh that would be absolutely wonderful Twilight. I hate seeing books going to waste especially those of which can still help a pony out." She said before taking another drink. Twilight was looking over what was in her tea. "Fascinating." Looking into her cup her horn glowed picking it up she took a sniff. "Hmm smells sweet. Okay, Rarity here goes nothing. Cheers!." Twilight took a small drink holding it in her mouth savouring the flavours before swallowing. "Hmm not bad Rarity. Now we play the waiting game." They both giggled as twilight pulled a funny face as if the tea was making her ill.
Twilight turned back to the book as she took another drink of her tea. Rarity watched her intricately as she drew nearer to the spell which was hanging heavy over her head. Rarity couldn't take it, she slowly stood taking her cup to the sink and slowly ran the water into her empty cup as Twilight got slightly exited. "Wow! Rarity...you know when we spoke about you know...not having a proper foalhood, well there's a chance you could...you know...if you'd like to?"
Rarity stopped a moment shocked that her friend was onboard with this idea. She took a deep breath and acted non challant like it hadn't been pulling her apart. She turned to Twilight and giggled. "Wait your telling me there's something that can make me look like a filly pleeease darling, I look fabulous." She stood posing seductively in her feminine pose. Twilight looked wide eyed at her friends reaction and beauty she was definitely right, she did look fabulous to say the least. She picked the book up in her magic and held it up in front of Rarity. "No Rarity, this can actually turn you back to a filly, it's really quite spectacular. Just think if this actually works you can do all the things you missed out on when you were young. Wouldn't that be just wonderful Rarity?" Twilight mused.
Rarity was as still as a statue trying to process the whole outlandish idea. She never imagined that anypony would agree to help her. "Y-You would actually help me become a foal so I can experience the things I've missed?" Twilight softly smiled at her friend. "Well of course Rarity, why wouldn't I help? Your the element of generosity it would be nice to give you something back. Tell you what give this storm time to pass and I'll gather the girls and we'll help gather the ingredients and..." Rarity stopped her suddenly. "Please Twilight, I thank you but if I do choose to do this...would you mind if we just kept it between us both please? I would hate for word to get out that it's really me and if they see me holding a colts hoof well, well I'll be..."
Twilight cut in. "That's fine Rarity. I never thought of it like that, but you can count on me that I won't tell any pony. Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." She put her hoof on her friends shoulder. Rarity smiled and hugged Twilight. "Thank you I'll let you know my decision tomorrow, it's a lot to take in if I'm being honest. It pains me to my core thinking of all the things I've missed out on, like making friends and playing in the fields, trading secrets and chasing colts to experiencing a first kiss...well it makes me feel...well...old and alone. And I know I have you and the girls and I'm the luckiest pony in Equestria to have such loving and caring friends but it's not like I have a stallion about the stead or a foal running around...well other than my little sister that is. Other than my fashion shop I just want something that is mine and belongs to me. Something that I can come home to at the end of each day and snuggle upto other than a meal for one and an empty bed you know? It just feels like the universe has it in for me."
Twilight hugged her tight. "Well maybe this is the universe giving you a second chance at the life you missed Rarity. You think it over I'll respect your decision whichever you decide. The girls and I are always here for you." Rarity sobbed quietly into her friends shoulder. Twilight's horn glowed wiping the tears from Rarity's face. After a moment Rarity stepped back and smiled through teary eyes at Twilight. "Thank you it means so much. I'm always here for you and the girls also." Twilight smiled. "We know Rarity. Now then you amazing fashionista I need to relieve some parents about their sons whereabouts whilst they're stuck on the other side of the storm and can't get home. They'll be very grateful to you for taking him in during this storm."
Rarity straightened herself up with a sense of pride. "It was nothing really, I'm enjoying the company and it's given me a purpose again. Please tell his parents that he can stay in my guest room for as long as he likes whether there's a storm or not he's simply wonderful and they've raised him right. Just last night a large tree branch was blown through my kitchen window and before I knew it he had my Sweetie Belle under the table using himself to shield her." Twilight smiled with joy. "Oh that was very brave of him, I'm pleased the three of you are safe. I'll be sure to let his parents know. Well Rarity, thank you for the tea I'm feeling a little better and I'll call by tomorrow taking on how this storms fairing, then we'll continue our little chat. Bye for now! "She called out over the raging wind as she opened Rarity's door to leave. "Bye for now darling! Be careful out there!" Rarity yelled back using her magic to help her close the door behind her.
CHAPTER THREE
A day after the storm...
After watching Rainbow Dash rounding up a hooful of black clouds before buck kicking them into oblivion Rarity stepped away from her kitchen window where she sat down at her dining table along with Sweetie Belle and Rumble serving their breakfasts. "Well Rumble, I do hope you have enjoyed your stay this past week, it's been so lovely having you here darling. You're going to be a miss."
As they ate breakfast there was a knock at the door. "Ah Rumble, this will be your parents. Are you ready to leave dear?" Rarity asked as she headed for the door. "I'm so looking forward to meeting them" She soon got to the door and opened it with a gleaming smile to find Rainbow Dash standing with a tall dark pegasus. Rarity was taken aback for a moment. "Rainbow Dash, what are you doing here? I'm expecting Rumble's parents." She said smiling through gritted teeth. Rainbow Dash laughed doing a little on the spot backflip. "Ha! Well Rarity this is Rumble's big brother Thunderlane!"
Rarity was taken aback by the tall dark steed in her doorway and was soon becoming flustered "Ohh Thunderlane, such a pleasure to meet you. Please, come in. Rumble is just finishing his breakfast, may I get you both anything? A drink or a fresh apple?" She asked pointing a hoof inside. Thunderlane stood to attention "Thank you Miss Rarity, I would like that." Rarity smiled ushering them both into her humble abode. "Please, as I told you're brother, 'Rarity' will do." She smiled to Thunderlane as she passed him a bright red shiney apple that matched his cheeks.
"THUNDERLANE!" Rumble called out cantering over to his brother. "Hey lil bro! How you been? We've missed you!" Thunderlane yelled out giving his little brother a high hoof and a playful noogie. "Have you been good for Miss Rarity?" Rumble smiled wide. "Of course big bro! And Miss Rarity has been taking real good care of me, she's great!" Rarity beamed at the reunited brothers. "Oh darling, thank you but it was nothing, I've enjoyed having you here. Just promise me you won't be a stranger...both of you." She softly smiled at Thunderlane.
Thunderlane looked at the two sisters a moment thinking of how lucky his brother had been stuck here with these two stunning pony's for a whole week before looking back to Rumble. "Well, it's very nice to meet you Sweetie Belle. Rumble's told me all about you. It's always Sweetie Belle this or Sweetie Belle that, always yap yap yap..." He teased."Thunderlane! No I don't!" Thunderlane laughed. "No he really doesn't. All he's ever told me is how he met a pretty filly whilst out on his field trip, he's been that quiet about it that I thought he was making it up. Well anyway it's finally nice to meet you Sweetie Belle. You should come over for dinner sometime...both of you." He smiled turning to Rarity. "Ohh that would be simply wonderful Thunderlane thank you." She beamed widely giving a knowing nod to her sister. "Dinner would be great, Thanks Thunderlane!" Sweetie concurred smiling at her Rumble.
"Okay lovebirds, can we get a move on or what? We got places to be and clouds to hoof!" Rainbow Dash huffed as she headed for the door. Thunderlane rolled his eyes giving a short laugh. "Okay Dashy just a minute. Well Miss Rarity, it seems duty calls. I'll pass on the dinner plans to Rumble when things settle down around here...And thank you again Rarity for everything." He turned heading for the door. Rumble made a dash for Rarity giving her a hug. Rarity was taken aback a moment before smiling, hugging him back. "Thank you for everything Rarity, you've been so kind to me." He nuzzled into the warm fur of her crest breathing her perfume in before following his brother and Rainbow Dash out the door. He was almost there when a glow surrounded him stopping him on the spot. "Ahem! And where is my hug mister?" Sweetie Belle demanded her horn all aglow with her eyebrows crossed. She looks quite cute even when she's mad Rumble thought as she pulled him towards her.
He awkwardly hugged her as the three pairs of eyes watched them. He gave in and leaned into his marefriend tight a long moment. As they broke their embrace he looked into Sweetie's soft green eyes, he could feel her warm muzzle with her breath kissing his face as she softly smiled, he was then overwhelmed and kissed her, Sweetie Belle swooned in his embrace kissing him back.
Thunderlane looked on as his little brother was being a filly killer, he had taught his little brother well. Rarity stood smiling as she watched them her wishing she had memories like this one from when she was a filly. The moment was ruined by Rainbow Dash "Eww gross guys! You gonna make me lose my breakfast! Blurr!"
Sweetie Belle gathered her satchel as she finished getting ready to meet her friends, stopping just before the door watching her sister clumsily levitating a roll of fabric as she headed towards her workshop. "Uhm...Rarity?" She queried apprehensively. Rarity stopped in her tracks turning to look at her sister over the red rims of her glasses. "Yes Sweetie darling?" Sweetie Belle rubbed her hoof on the floor before finding her words. "I...err this last week...Well, thanks for trusting me and Rumble...You're a really cool sister." She smiled shyly before heading out the front door. Rarity's smile fleeted as she stood in the large room feeling empty and alone once again.
Once inside her workshop Rarity placed the roll of fabric down to one side, wiping a tear from her eye she laid her spell book down on her workbench slowly running her hoof over the embossed black diamond following it's indentation deep in thought, wondering what her life would be like now if she had been a 'normal' filly. "What if I'd given that colt the time of day instead of ignoring him every time for doing something nice for me? Or would I have become just a run of the mill pony if I'd have gone to sleep overs with fillyfriends sharing secrets and swooning over boys and having fun?" She wiped away the slow trickling tears from her eyes. "Was it worth it, was it worth all that just to be sitting here in your boutique all alone whilst trying to make ends meet?" She said aloud to herself in the mirror before sobbing.
The shop door bell rang making Rarity jump, she wasn't expecting anypony to be making orders this early. She quickly tidied herself up drying her eyes to look more presentable when Twilight appeared. "Hey Rarity....oh my are...are you crying?" She asked trotting to console her friend as Rarity started crying again. "I'm so lonely Twilight, I just want to settle down with a nice mannered gentle colt and maybe have a foal or two before it's too late, you know? Twilight hugged her tight whilst gathering her thoughts taking care as to not to salt her friends already open wounds any more than they have been. "Sooo, err I came by and just in time by the looks of things to ask if you wanted to go for a chat in Cupcake Corner, just us girls...hanging out... you know?" Rarity looked up and was greeted by her friends warm smile so solace and kind. She took a deep breath and wiped away her tears. "I'm sorry Twilight, I'm just being an old nag... I'll be fine."
Twilight saw the spell book in front of Rarity giving her an idea to cheer her up. "Okay Rarity, grab your satchel we're going to have a girly day, just you and me and we are going to have fun!..." She took hold of Rarity's satchel in her magic and started filling it with various items whilst Rarity could only look on. "Okay, we'll need this, this, Ohh and one of these just incase and finally this." She levitated the spell book up from Rarity's hooves. "We'll definitely be needing this."now c'mon girl let's go!"
After a nice girly chat over a teapot of tea and a whole lot of carrot cake they headed to the enchanted forest to find the ingredients for Rarity's spell. "I can't believe I'm actually doing this." She said smiling foraging the root of one of the ingredients for the potion. "Okay Rarity, I've found the last one!" She called over. Rarity felt a shiver down her spine, it was real now if this was to actually work then she'd be a filly again. "So what now Twilight?" Twilight trotted over through the foliage "Well Rarity, we can go to my lab and create it, then when you're ready you can take the potion and relive your youth." She said softly smiling. "Come on you fashionista, let's get over to the library and we'll cook up this potion."
Under the Golden Oak Library
"Okay Rarity, we just need to add the witch-hazel and let it simmer aaaaand now we play the waiting game." She smiled watching Rarity bite her lip with apprehension. "So Rarity, what's your plan for your new life, so to speak?" Rarity shuffled in her seat mulling over the details tussling her mane with her hoof. "Well since I don't want any pony to know that it's me cantering around as a filly, it's a longshot but I think I can use the abandoned house over side the old mill." Rarity paused a moment not wanting to lean on her friend more than she had. Twilight smiled. "Well Rarity, we have some time before the potion is ready, we could go check it out now if you want?"
As they reached the woods on edge of town the girls could speak openly. "I'm not sure how I'll cope without my sewing machine..." Twilight turned smiling "Well Rarity, I suppose you'll be to busy with school and chasing boys, that's what you're doing this for right?" Rarity looked ahead as the abandoned house came into view. "I do want to find my inner filly Twilight, I'm just anxious as to how effective this potion will be. I mean will I still be me or will I actually be young me who needs to learn everything again? And will I still know you and the girls? What's going to happen to me Twilight??"
Later that night
Twilight and Rarity plopped down in the centre of the room exhausted looking around at their fine hoofiwork. "It looks just wonderful in the candlelight Twilight darling. Thank you for helping me get this place into shape." Rarity panted. Twilight leaned against the hearth smiling. "I know how much this means to you." She said catching her breath. "They looked around the empty room in the soft light. "All you need now is a bed and chair and maybe a little something for your clothes and you're good to go." She smiled.
As they arrived back at the library Rarity put the kettle on. "I'm in desperate need of a bath, darling I'm just absolutely filthy." Twilight quietly removed a cluster of web from the back of Rarity's mane with her magic as not to freak her out, before replying. "You're in luck, I've just ran a bath for you, so once you finish our tea should be just right." Rarity sighed smiling. "Thank you Twilight, why don't you join me and we can pretend we're in the spa, which I'm definitely treating you to when I get back from 'my business trip'." She smiled wide. Twilight beamed. "Why thank you Rarity that would be lovely. That gives me an idea c'mon girl!"
They sat in the warm tub facing each other through the thick bubbles. They giggled as they splashed one another as they playfully fought over the chocolates on the stand to the side of the tub along with two glasses of sparkling wine. Rarity laughed out loud as Twilight got her in the eye. "Well I never! Twilight Sparkle how could you do such a thing?" She said teasingly as she turned to take a drink from her glass whilst passing Twilight hers. "Oh this is just simply wonderful Twilight darling." She smiled closing her eyes laying back in the suds, breathing in the air as they relaxed into the warm water.
Rarity took a breath. "Okay Twilight, you're turn now, around you go darling." She motioned with her hoof as she turned back round. Twilight smiled as she turned her back to Rarity. "So Rarity, I've told you what I'd like to do... now it's your turn." Rarity bit her lip in thought running her hooves through Twilight's mane before applying the soap. "Well... since we're speaking candidly I would definitely eat cake..." They both laughed as she broke the tension before continuing. "But also I think I'd definitely kiss a colt...or two annnd not just on the cheek." Twilight teasingly laughed. "I knew you were a dark horse Rarity! I'm tempted on joining you on this potion venture." She giggled. "So come on tell me, what else apart from wooing colt's and eating cake." Twilight giggled as Rarity continued washing Twilight's mane. "Well, I would spend time reinventing myself. I would like to learn a different craft, maybe even get a little dirty and enjoy it and most of all just do what fillies, do. I was to far snooty for a pony my age, I was...well I was just simply awful darling. I was so selfish and rude, I'm surprised that I actually got anywhere. That's why I'm always grateful for ending up here in Ponyville and becoming friends with you and the girls....you all helped bring out the best in me."
The girls grabbed their towels and hopped out of the tub. They got dried and settled down for supper and a cup of tea before turning in for the night. They retired into Twilight's bedroom "It's been a while since you slept here Rarity, which side of the bed do you want?" Rarity tiredly yawned. "I'll take this side thank you Twi...light..." She was out like a light before her head hit the pillow. Twilight lay down beside her friend. "Goodnight Rarity, sweet dreams." She smiled closing her eyes.
Chapter Four
Rarity woke from her slumber with a yawn and a stretch as Celestia's morning sun kissed her face. She rolled over onto her opposite side to be greeted by Twilight. "Good morning sleepy head." Rarity smiled trying to open her eyes to see her friends soft smile. "Good morning darling." She smiled replying to Twilight yawning again. "Ohh Twilight, I forgot how cosy your bed actually was." She smiled nestling her head back into the pillow realising that she had been drooling in her sleep again making her flush for a moment with the cool wetness against her cheek.
The bedroom door suddenly opened with little puffs and pants entering the room. "Good morning Twilight, I made you breakfast." The chirpy little dragon smiled. Twilight yawned as she answered. "Oh thank you Spike, you didn't have to." She sat up exposing Rarity as the duvet fell away making Spike gasp. "Miss Rarity!...my queen...I didn't know you were here or I'd have made you breakfast too...something just as sweet as you...I'll make you something right away!" He turned on the spot and marched away. Twilight smiled with her horn glowing as she held Spike's tail keeping him on the spot a moment before releasing him. "Hold your horses Mister, Rarity is very busy planning her business trip today and has a lot to do before she leaves, so she can share breakfast with me." Rarity smiled reassuringly at him. "Thank you for the offer, you're an absolute darling for offering though." She smiled to him.
Spike was lovestruck at her words and was soon becoming lost in his little dragon mind as he ran various romantic scenarios of them both together, his eyes would have shown love hearts if he were a cartoon. Twilight and Rarity both looked puzzled at each other a moment before reminding Spike where he was. "Spike would you be a darling and allow us girls a little privacy, please?" Rarity said batting her eyelashes at him. Spike gulped wondering how long he'd been dreaming for and if anypony had noticed. He quickly pulled himself together frantically scratching the back of his head for answers. "Uh Yes, of course I was just, errr about to ask if you both needed anything else?"
"Just some privacy please Spike." Twilight smiled politely making Spike blush with awkwardness. "Haha...yes of course...I'll be going oh and have a safe trip Rarity! I will miss you my sweet." Twilight closed the door using her magic as Rarity thanked the little dragon before bursting into giggles along with Twilight. "Oh Twilight did you have to close the door so fast?" She laughed before adding. "I wouldn't have said 'no' to an apple juice darling I'm absolutely parched." Twilight passed her drink over using her magic. "Here, have mine. I can get one before we leave."
Rarity smiled. "Well thank you darling." She said raising the cup to Twilight before quenching her thirst. "As much as I'm excited about today I'm so nervous, Twilight. I have some errands to attend to and I also need to sort out somewhere for Sweetie Belle to stay. Hopefully Applejack will take her for a short while and then I need to get a bed and odds and ends across to my...new abode....Ohhh it's making me dizzy already!" She swooned dramatically back down on the pillow covering her eyes with her hoof.
Rarity smiled nuzzling into Twilight. "Whatever did I do, to get a friend like you." She asked rhetorically before continuing. "Well if you're sure it's alright, would you mind seeing the gentlecolt in town about moving a bed and such into the abandoned house for me please?" Hoping it wasn't to much of an ask. "Consider it done and done Rarity." Twilight smiled.
"Oh thank you so much Twilight, you'll find my emergency purse in it's usual place. Take what you need and then take something for yourself and make sure you do, or I'll be quite put out if you don't darling." Twilight rolled her eyes. "Okay Rarity, I may treat myself to Cupcake Corner when I'm finished. All that talk of eating cake last night has had my belly growling." She giggled as her horn glowed passing a pancake dripping with syrup to her hungry friend. "Here Rarity, open wide." Twilight called out. Rarity grasped the pancake in her own magic. "Twilight, I do not 'open wide' for any pony, I am a lady." Twilight rolled her eyes. "I know some pony you would 'open wide' for though..." She smirked.
"Really Twilight? I...You....uhhh." She drooped her head as she conceded. "I know you're only having a risque joke and as Pinkie Pie keeps telling me to take the proverbial stick out of my bu...ugh my derriere. Well maybe on this new venture I can. Thank you for breakfast darling, I'll have to start heading off, no time like the present and all that." Giving Twilight a peck on the cheek.
As Rarity headed for the bedroom door Twilight called out from her bed. "Go get 'em Rarity! I'll meet you in your newly furnished stead later this evening with the potion. And Rarity..."
Once outside the Old Oak Library, Rarity breathed in the fresh morning air as Celestia's sun shone down on Ponyville. She finished her pancake and used her magic to rummage through her saddlebag for her to do list. "Okay, hmm so I need to sort out bits to see me over, then I need to see Applejack about Sweetie Belle see if she can stay there until I get back and then I need to finish off my new dress for when..." She took a deep breath smiling. "For when I become a filly." She liked the sound of that as she headed off through Ponyville heading for Apple Acres.
Later at Apple Acres
On arriving at Apple family farm the sun was at it's pique, Rarity wiped the sweat from her brow with her neckerchief as she finally reached the farmhouse. She gave a quick look in the window finding Granny asleep in her rocking chair and knew AJ would more than likely be doing her chores, seeing that the fields had already been tended to, so she decided to head for the barn. The large door creaked as Rarity stepped inside she was greeted by the cool air. She took a deep breath of the refreshing cool air before calling out to her friend. "Applejack! Applejack are you here darling?" Her ears perked up listening intricately for any response but to no avail.
Heading further inside she called out again this time louder than the first. "AJ! Are you in here??" She turned quick as a sound came from the shadows of the rear of the barn and walked towards it with her horn illuminated for light. As she rounded a corner into the stable partition she gasped finding Applejack going down on her brother Big Mac. "Applejack! Uh...Oh my...!" She cried out as she flustered. AJ slowly slid her mouth off her brothers long, throbbing member whilst keeping eye contact with him softly smiling as she turned to Rarity. "Hey there Sugarcube, what brings you here today?"
Rarity was blushing as red as grannys prize winning apples. "Uh Applejack, what are you doing?" Was all she managed to get out. Applejack rolled her eyes. "Well ahm doin' whut Apple Bloom should be doing right now, it's supposed to be her turn this time! You wouldn't have happened ta seen her around have ya?"
As she settled back down to Big Mac's now melting shaft, she called over over to Rarity. "Say Rarity! Ah don't suppose ya wanna take care of mah brother here while ah go look for Apple Bloom do yah?" Rarity watched as the large dick twitched back into life at the vivid thought of the unicorn taking him into her maw.
Rarity's eyes widening, her clit was starting to twitch as her unhoned sexual senses took hold. "What?? No! I am a Lady, I couldn't! I wouldn't!" She cried out trying to keep her composure.
Late afternoon...
Rarity had finished her errands and had called to the market for some food and treats for to make a lovely dinner before heading to meet twilight at what used to be the abandoned house. She strolled along the old railway track admiring the old mill up on the hill as it came into view as the evening sun broke through the trees encapturing the lonely building in it's soft ambient light. Upon following the treeline round to her new steading she stopped and sat on the path as it hit her what she was about to do. This new journey she was about to embark on could she really leave this part of herself behind and live a different life to what she's worked so hard for. She took a deep breath. "Well I guess I'll find out tomorrow." She assured herself before getting back to her hooves and headed for the front door.
As she entered her abode she was greeted by Twilight. "Good evening Rarity, I hope you don't mind what I've done to the place?" She warmly smiled. Rarity gasped as she looked around it felt warm and cosey. A log was burning in the hearth with a small shelf with a few pieces of bric-a-brac for show and over in the back corner were three chairs and table under the window beside a small but modest kitchen to the right of it. Twilight could only smile watching so much wonder and joy wash over Rarity seeing her so speechless. "Would you like the tour of your new home m'lady?" Twilight asked the stunned unicorn.
Rarity looked wide eyed at her friend only able to giver a quick speechless nod. Twilight grinned dramatically turning into the room. "Well I did the best I could with the little time I had to keep it minimalist for you. As you can see I touched up the hearth and put a fresh log on for you and a comfy sofa and chair. Then I added a few essentials to your kitchen, pots and pans, plates...the usual. Now if your ready I'll show you upstairs." Rarity looked around in awe as the candlelight made the shadows dance around around the room before silently following Twilight up the stairs. Once at the top of the stairs Twilight continued. "So since you can't be an orphan as it'll draw to much attention, I've put a casual bed in this room as if it's your parents, you can probably say they work away. I've also been to see Miss Cherrylee. I told her that she may have a new student arriving from out of town, sooo you start school on Monday." Twilight winked a smile.
Twilight gave Rarity time to look around. The walls were a peach colour mixed with whisps of light green, whilst in the corner was the bedside table with a reading candle sitting alongside a random book and above the bed hung a painted picture of two special someponies under a tree sharing a picnic and in the opposite corner of the room was an old wooden chest with some casual and work clothes inside. Twilight ushered her back to the landing as she continued. "And this door here is your bathroom..." Upon opening the door rarity found all the essentials, nothing as extravagant as in her own home, but modest at the least. Rarity put her hoof on the tap of the tub feeling the cold faux gold metal. The walls were a sheen white with wooden slats to help keep the steam in. Rarity smiled fondly at her friend.
Twilight smiled widely as she continued. "And here on the other side of the landing is your new bedroom." They headed for the door Twilight stood to one side. "Okay Rarity, lead the way." She smiled. Rarity gulped staring at the door to her new bedroom imagining what to expect inside. She took a deep steady breath and slowly opened the door finding inside a proper fillies bedroom. The foal sized bed layered with soft pinks and blues blended into a lively pattern on the duvet on the right hoofside of the bed an elegant nightstand with a small lamp with a pink shade, just then she noticed a small picture frame beside it. Rarity picked it up in her magic and a tear came to her eye upon seeing it in a better light. Twilight put a hoof on her shoulder softly smiling. "And that is a picture of the six of us all together...you know, just incase you forget who we are." Rarity hugged Twilight almost catching her off guard.
Rarity composed herself letting go of Twilight to admire the picture once more before carefully putting it back on the nightstand. "Thank you so much Twilight, you you've done so much for me...I was going to cook you dinner tonight but it doesn't seem enough now. I really owe you for this one." Twilight hugged her friend "Oh Rarity, that's what friends are for. Remember when I first arrived in Ponyville and I came to your shop and you tried to help me even though I was a total stranger and a rude one at that." They both giggled. "Yes, but I shouldn't have pressed you so hard on the matter, a ladies mane is her pride and joy and I got a little carried away." They both laughed hugging each other. "So Twilight, let's head back down and I'll start making dinner."
Rarity headed straight into to her new kitchen and started preparing dinner before unpacking the treats from her satchel including a bottle of sparkling wine. Once everything was done she joined Twilight in the living room where she started pouring the wine into two glasses both unicorns raised their glasses with their magic. Rarity raised her glass toasting Twilight. "Mi casa is your casa." Twilight smiled. "To friendship." She replied clinking her glass to Rarity's. They took a drink and relaxed on the couch whilst the dinner steadily cooked.
Later...
After devouring the delicious banquet which Rarity had made the girls retired to the living room opening a second bottle of wine where each talked about their day as Rarity pointed out various decor that she would maybe like to incorporate into her own home. "I suppose its easy to forget the little things." Rarity mused aloud. Twilight looked around her humble abode. "We certainly do Rarity. That's why sometimes we have to stop and take a look around or we can miss what's right in front of us." Rarity took a drink of her wine mulling philosophically Over Twilight's words. "This is the last glass of wine I'll be having for a while I suppose." Twilight let out a little giggle. "I'm sure you'll have plenty on your plate in the meantime Rarity." Rarity took another drink "I suppose I will darling...taking that the potion even works, imagine all of this for nothing." Twilight sat up. "It won't be for nothing Rarity. Just look at what you've achieved up until today without being a filly. Hold onto that Rarity or it really will be for nothing." Rarity finished her wine. "I suppose you're right darling. I am proud of myself for starting to 'come out of my shell' so to speak." She yawned wide and loud.
Twilight giggled softly as she watched her friend succumb to her tiredness. "Well Rarity, there's just one thing left to do..." Twilight's horn glowed as she brought the bottle of potion to her friend. Rarity looked at the elixir hovering in front of her in the custom made bottle of a deep glittery purple with thin swirls of white and on the narrow neck was a black diamond. Rarity looked to Twilight with grateful eyes as she took hold of it in her magic. "Oh this is..." Twilight cut in finishing her sentence. "Absolutely elegant darling...That's what you were going to say right?" Twilight teased giving her a playful nudge. Rarity giggled. "I suppose I was darling...it is quite beautiful to say the least. Thank you."
The girls sat in silence a few moments. "So Twilight, do I just pop the cork and drink it?" Twilight shook her head "Oh no Rarity, you have to follow out the steps of the ritual. Firstly go outside under the moon, secondly spin around until you fall down making sure you splay your nethers skywards before thirdly yelling into the night at the top of your lungs. "I am the Lady Rarity! Make me young and virginal once again!" Rarity's eyes were wide with shock before taking a deep breath and swallowing hard. She stood up making a move for the front door before Twilight laughed out hard. "Oh Rarity, I was only joking! You should have seen your face!" Rarity gasped before bursting out into laughter. "Oh Twilight you are just simply awful darling! I can't believe I was about to do it too!" Twilight giggled. "Ohh I'm sorry Rarity, but you needed a pick me up."
Rarity blushed as she laughed thinking of how she'd have looked actually spreading her most intimate parts to nature. She caught her breath taking a glimpse at Twilight still giggling. "Okay Twilight, I Think I'm ready to drink it." Twilight smiled. "Alright then Rarity, lead the way." Rarity thought a moment. "I'd Like to take the potion in bed and fall asleep beside you...just incase I become somepony else or something." Twilight hugged her. "I've always got your back, you amazing fashionista. I'm ready when you are." Rarity took a look around the living room wondering if she'd wake to be a stranger to it in the morning, as she started leading Twilight upstairs. She opened the door to the master bedroom feeling the crisp night air greet her as the moonlight shone in through the window onto the bed.
They pulled back the quilt and got underneath. Rarity looked at Twilight's hard work once again before turning to her friend. "I want to thank you once again Twilight, for everything..." Twilight smiled cutting in. "Rarity, I know and the girls know too we're all here for each other through thick and thin and don't you worry, your secret is safe with me." Rarity smiled popping the cork from the pretty bottle and put it to her lips before stopping. "Twilight can I ask just one more favour of you darling?" She almost whispered. Twilight was taken back a little for a moment. "Sure thing Rarity. Whatever you need." Rarity shuffled in her place. "Can you hold me while I sleep please? I don't want to wake up alone in the morning." Twilight snuggled into her. "Of course I will" She warmly smiled. Rarity put the vial to her lips again saying softly and slowly "I am the Lady Rarity. Make me young and virginal again." She chuckled as a tear reached her eye as she drank the dark sweet liquid. She kissed Twilight on the cheek then lay down with her back to her friend encouraging with her flank for Twilight to spoon her. Twilight rolled onto her side snuggling into her before kissing her shoulder.
Twilight stirred from her sleep, trying to open her eyes she softly smiled and gave Rarity a snuggle only to find that her friend wasn't there. She leapt to her hooves checking everywhere she could as her still sleepy head swirled around with the thoughts of what could have happened.Rarity! Where are you? " Then all of a sudden she was distracted by laughter from outside. Twilight rushed to the window looking out to see a strange young unicorn running around the near by trees and laughing. "Strange, Rarity must be out there with her somewhere." Wiping the sleep from her eyes she yawned stretching out her hind legs before heading downstairs as the laughter carried on. That's when Twilight realised that she could only hear one voice and headed straight for the front door.
Twilight stood observing the steel blue unicorn with a white and purple mane with a length which could rival princess Luna's, was running around the trees all out of breath and laughing. Twilight watched her a few moments longer. "Ahem, excuse me... I'm looking for my friend Ms Rarity! Have you seen her?" The unicorn stopped in her tracks panting trying to catch her breath. "Well sure thing Miss, she's right over here! " Twilight looked across at the few trees and surrounding foliage as the young unicorn took off again. "Rarity! Are you out there? Please I need to see you! Twilight was growing more and more anxious by the second. Stop playing games I want to see my friend! Now!
The strange unicorn stopped and trotted out from behind a hedge catching her breath. "Can you not see her Miss? Just take a look over here..." She slowly turned to her left with a hundred yards stare pointing her hoof into the distance. That's when Twilight saw...on the unicorns rump was a black diamond cutie mark. Twilight's face twisted with confusion. "Rarity? Is that...you in there?? She called out to the estranged blue pony.
Twilight stood aghast, looking around expecting Rarity to come out from somewhere and tell her that it was all a joke. The new Rarity looked at Twilight with concern. "Twilight dear, hows about we go inside and discuss this properly over some tea?" Twilight looked at her. "Coffee.... lot's of coffee." Her belly growled. "And waffles." They softly smiled as they headed inside.
Twilight looked on observing her a few moments. So it's real then...the potion actually works." Rarity sat smiling. "I'm sorry if I scared you Twilight, I scared me a little bit too." She stated as her smile faded.wow! Well come on girl, give me a twirl! Let me get a proper look at you!" She chuckled. The young unicorn hopped of her seat and stood smiling before spinning quickly around in a complete circle. Twilight laughed. "Ohh c'mon, properly now." There was a nervous glance in Rarity's eyes her new body was new to her to even she hadn't seen it all yet.
Twilight gave a comforting smile reassuring her. "You look as beautiful as ever, now give me a twirl." Rarity bit her lip and stepped slowly around in a circle showing her new body off. Her deep purple and white mane and tail were long and vibrant, her steel blue coat was plush and looked so warm. On her hooves were black markings as if she was wearing elegant shoes but her bright blue eyes were still hers. Twilight clopped her hooves together smiling and cheering her. "Yay! Who's a big girl?" Rarity shyly turned her head to one side. "I am, I suppose." She said quietly anxiously twisting her hoof into the floor. Twilight smiled wide. "Oh Rarity, I don't think I've seen this vulnerable side to you.
So have you thought about what you'd like to do today?" Rarity looked around a moment. "I'm not to sure, Twilight..." Twilight cut in "Well if you tidy your room and do your chores I'll take you to Cupcake Corner for tea." She teased.
Twilight stood up and used her magic to put their cups and plates into the sink. "You're washing those up later, young lady." Twilight said sternly. She then took a pen and notepad "So we've already had our breakfast, check. Now I'm thinking we go...shopping! " She smiled. Rarity looked around the room anxiously. "Okay then. I'll just grab my bag." She trotted to the front door get it. "So this is it. The day I've been waiting for, for the past two weeks and now it's finally here, I'm just so nervous."
Rarity turned to Twilight. "I was thinking about what you said about leaving the old me on this doorstep. Then in that case, I would like you and everypony else to call me...Black Diamond." Twilight looked at the young filly a few moments. "Black Diamond huh? Hmm, it suits you. Okay Black Diamond, lead on." The filly smiled and headed outside as Twilight shut the door. "Actually Black Diamond...how's your magic? Can you still lock this door?" She wondered. Black Diamond trotted over with confidence, aiming her horn at the door. She squinted as she strained to use her spell but her horn just sparkled and fizzled. "Oh my, Black Diamond. Seems you have the magic of a filly too. Uhm, can you lift that stick over there?" She watched as her friends young horn burst into life again lifting the stick with ease. "Well done! It looks like you're magic is the strength of your filly self, but don't worry to much about it. I'll lock the door for now and you just keep practicing with that stick. Now let's go have some fun and also I want to find out more about my new friend Black Diamond."
The girls laughed and played before they finally trotted into Ponyville. "Wow, Black Diamond, you've got so much energy. I can't keep up with you." Twilight giggled as she caught her breath finally catching up. "So Black Diamond, where do you want to go first?" The young filly bounced around buzzing on adrenaline smiling wide excited on making the next move. "Hmm how's about the market?" Twilight smiled widely. "What are we waiting for then?" She grinned as they walked side-by-side towards the market place.Hey Twilight! Over here! Who's ya new friend there?
Black Diamond stepped forward. "It's nice to meet you Miss Applejack." She politely said. "Well it's sure nice to meet you too young 'un! Mah Apple Bloom would just love to meet you...she's mah little sister n she's about your age too. When you get a minute call round the farm n meet her!" Applejack put her hoof to her face. "Ah just remembered, Rarity came by yesterday n asked me tah watch her Sweetie Belle while she's away on business. Ah almost forgot cos ah was...uh... shall we say indisposed with a certain stallion an' she caught us red hooved. Ahh tell yas, Rarity's face was a picture! It was a hoot!" She laughed out as she continued. "Ah don't get whut Big Mac see's in her. He says he likes tha way she talks all posh like...but don't get me wrong ah lover but she's got such a stick up her butt ah feel like shakin' her to help her loosen up ya know. Black Diamond was gritting her teeth trying to keep her cool as Twilight anxiously changed the conversation. "Oh my Applejack sounds like you had quite the day. Say Black Diamond, that's a lovely offer from Applejack giving you the chance to make new friends, isn't it?"
Black Diamond smiled through gritted teeth. "Yes, just wonderful, I'll try and call by sometime...thank you." She managed to say without losing her temper. Applejack tipped her hat to her. "Say there, take this gift basket as a welcoming gift. It's full of fresh fruit an veg from mah family's farm, you'll find a bushel of apples, Zap apple jam, apple sauce and a few more tasty goodies in there including a bottle of apple cider for your folks too."
Applejack smiled warmly."Welcome to Ponyville Black Diamond. Ah hope you enjoy your stay n just call me Applejack I ain't tha lady Rarity. Ah tell ya whut sugar cube. Why don't cha come over for dinner this evening? Ya can meet tha family an ahl introduce yah ta Rarity's lil sister too." Black Diamond glanced up to see Twilight giving her a nod of encouragement. "Alright Applejack, I'll be happy to join you for dinner, thank you."
"Phew, I did not expect that. Haha what did she mean when Applejack said that you...er Rarity caught her in a 'compromising' position. Black Diamond rolled her eyes and blushed. Well I may have walked in on her going down on Big Mac." Twilight laughed. "Nooooo! Seriously? Is he as big as they say??" Black Diamond tried not to blush "Twilight! Please I...." The princess cut in. "Ah ah...no. You are not a lady. You are a young filly on the cusp of marehood. A filly who wants...neigh, needs to do things differently from which the lady Rarity does. Isn't that the whole point of doing this?" Black Diamond looked up at the Twilight's stern face and softly nodded in defeat. "You're right Twilight, I'm being silly 'old habits' and all that. Let's start again and I'll tell you about the biggest cock that I've ever seen." She said with a wild smile. "Twilight gasped. "Mind your tone young lady..." She leaned in. "It's to loud." She winked before walking them to a quiet spot away from the busy market. "Now then, tell me everything about yesterday in every explicit detail." She giggled as they walked on together.
Later...
Black Diamond was sat at the table with her hot chocolate listening to Twilight in the distance. "Hello? Equestria to Black Diamond. Are you still there?." Black Diamond looked up from her hot drink "I'm sorry Twilight. Just the day catching up with me I suppose...it is lovely in here a little piece of tranquility." Twilight smiled in agreement as she sipped her tea. "That it is. So Black Diamond since we have a a little more time left I thought I'd take you to the spa as a treat. So drink up and we'll head over there."
Twilight watched the filly come back to life. "With all that talk of Big Mac earlier I thought I'd treat us to facials...." Black Diamond choked on her drink spurting chocolate everywhere, coughing as it streamed from her mouth and nose. Twilight laughed as Black Diamond coughed catching her breath using her magic to wipe her watering eyes and face as onlookers gasped and giggled. "Twilight you're so embarrassing!" She scolded quietly. Twilight sat forward leaning her chin on her hoof smirking at her disheveled friend. "Yeah. Am I the best big sister or what?" She grasped a napkin in her magic and started wiping Black Diamond's face for her. "Twilight I'm not a little filly!..." Twilight giggled. "Well ya kinda are. But you're right your a big girl now so I'll leave you to it." She said placing the napkin down on the table before taking a sip of her tea.
Black Diamond frowned. "I'm sorry Twilight, I didn't mean to bite your head off. It's just I've been like this for years and unlike my physical appearance, I'm not going to change overnight unfortunately...but it isn't for the want of trying. Believe me I am."
Chapter Six
Black Diamond smiled stepping out into the cool afternoon air taking in a deep satisfying breath of fresh air. "Thank you so much Twilight. I feel like a brand new pony...." She rolled her eyes. "Well you know what I mean. I feel absolutely fabulous! " Taking another deep breath of cool air. Twilight gleamed, taking out her notepad and pen "It's my pleasure Black Diamond, that's another scratched off our list." She said, ticking off another item on her 'girly day to do list' as she carefully studied the remaining items. "Hmm, since you don't have long before getting ready for dinner at Apple Acres. I suppose there's one more thing we can do..." Black Diamond looked on. "Well? Don't keep me in suspense Twilight. Spit it out. " Twilight bit her lip. "Well, I've been dying to get my hooves on your mane all day...could I suppose be able to give you the princess treatment?" Black Diamond smiled. "I love my lovely long mane, but it is missing a regal touch. Just not to much I'm going for a humble family dinner not a gala." She giggled. Twilight beamed wide. "That's just wonderful, let's head back to your stead and get started! C'mon we'll take the scenic route."
The girls passed Mayor Mare's home as they headed onto the bridle path which led them onto the Autumn Run River where they followed it along towards the train tracks. "I love the way the early evening light kisses the surface of the water, don't you think Twilight?" Twilight watched the light glimmer on the surface making the mini torrents of water dance over the shallow rocks. "Fluttershy once told me the story of how an old dragon was given the mountain as a gift and after unwrapping the ribbon, the ribbon then flowed down the mountain becoming the lifeblood of the forest...well Fluttershy can tell it better than I can." She chuckled. Black Diamond smiled staring at the slide of silk blue hemmed with silver and sparkling diamonds of light seeming still yet still in motion. "Absolutely wonderful." She stated staring at her new reflection from the waters edge.
The girls walked on in quiet thought taking in the serenity of the peaceful bridal way until they came to the crossroads taking a left towards Black Diamond's home. Arriving at the door Twilight unlocked it with her magic and headed in with their bags in tow. Whilst Twilight unpacked the food in the kitchen as the filly trotted off to her room. Once upstairs she tried her new perfume before placing it on her beside table along with a new framed picture of her favourite Wonderbolt Thunderlane, maybe she could get him to sign it. She took a few moments to look the fine Pegasus over. "That's one fine stallion right there." She muttered to herself. Her breath became deep and heavy as she could feel herself stirring in her nethers as her filly juice began to drool down her hind quarters with the lust filled desires of wanting the Wonderbolt inside her right now. She wanted to do something about it so badly, but didn't want to be caught by Twilight so instead she blew a kiss to the stallion behind the glass. "Next time handsome." She then took her neckerchief in her magic carefully wiping the wetness from her tender plot as not to set herself off before discarding the fabric into her laundry hamper.
She turned to her satchel smiling to herself taking a deep breath of the sweet scents emanating as she unwrapped a bunch of small orange, yellow and pink flowers for to be used in various manestyles using her magic to hold them to her mane again before going deep to the depths of her satchel. "Hmm where is it?" She queried. "Ah ha there it is." She said with a pleasing tone taking out a small box. As Black Diamond finished up, she quietly crept into the main bedroom leaving a red velvet box with golden trim round it's middle gently upon Twilights pillow before heading back for the stairs to rejoin her friend. When she reached the bottom she smiled upon seeing Twilight standing ready to do her mane. Twilight gleamed at the pretty foal. "Ohh Black Diamond, I'm quite excited! I haven't done this in a long time. So young lady, which manestyle would you like?"
Twilight's eyebrow inquisitively rose up as she had a thought. "I know what!" Twilight burst out as magic shot from her horn changing the filly's mane to a big poof of red curls making Black Diamond gasp in horror. Before her words found her maw Twilight's horn glowed again this time changing her mane to a bright orange poodle perm before Twilight laughed as she struck again this time with a green short bob. Twilight wiped a tear from her eye unable to control her laughter. "I'm sorry Black Diamond, I couldn't resist having some fun with your lovely mane. Hmm...I have a thought try this one." Black Diamond winced awaiting another horrific manestyle, but upon opening her eyes she found her mane styled like Princess Luna's and it was even swaying as if in a breeze. Her eyes widened as she gasped at the extravagant manestyle. "Oh my Twilight...." Twilight smiled softly. "Now, I know you said nothing 'regal' but I just had to let you see this one for yourself."
Twilight watched as she carefully unwrapped the paper from around the flowers. "Wow Black Diamond, they're really pretty." Black Diamond smiled picking up one of each flower in her magic before carefully securing them into Twilight's mane. They both smiled to eachother in the reflection of the mirror.
Twilight smiled. "Ohh why that's so lovely of you Black Diamond. They're very pretty and make me feel very appreciated, Thank you." She gleamed before regaining eye contact with the foal in "Now then, I'm in the zone to style your mane, so which coiffure style would you like? Sparkle always does the trick, does it not?" The two ponies laughed thinking back to their first meeting in the Carousel Boutique.
Black Diamond tapped her hooves together in thought. "I am, but to pretend I don't know them and become friends with them all over again...well that's going to be hard. I hope that I don't mess up and put my hoof in it." She frowned looking into her lap. Twilight took a hair grip out of her mouth. "You'll be fine. Just nod and anything you already know just politely ask them to tell you more about it because you are Black Diamond and you are a stranger here in Ponyville. And if it gets to much you...well you can always take Big Mac to one side since he's in heat." Twilight winked a smile at the filly. Black Diamond smiled from the corner of her mouth. "Maybe I will Twilight ."
Twilight blushed as the smell of the filly's sex rushed up her nose as she continued to style her mane. "Oh my, Black Diamond you really have a thing for Thunderlane, don't you." Twilight stated. Black Diamond smiled. "Oh and that brother of his...I'm quite jealous of Sweetie Belle." She grinned before continuing. "You know, I heard that when he stayed over the Carousel Boutique, the lady Rarity may or may not have wiped his breakfast waffles on her dripping filly parts." She grinned wildly as Twilight gawped at her friends confession smiling. "What? You...I mean she did? You do know he's been going around town asking about the 'tasty' topping that Miss Rarity puts on his waffles every morning...so that was...your..umm her mare juice?" She asked giggling with astonishment.
Some time had passed and Twilight was putting the finishing touches to Black Diamond's tail. "Well are you ready to see my fine hoofywork?" As she pulled the mirror back in front of them. "Ready?" She used her magic to remove the sheet to expose their reflection. Black Diamond gasped putting her forehooves to her maw. "Twilight! Oh...Oh my...It's, it's absolutely wonderful! Ohh Thank you!!"YES! " She cried out.
As the evening set in Twilight had walked Black Diamond to the white boundary fence of Apple Acres watching her nervously adjust her cloak. "Stop fidgeting, you'll be fine. Just remember one hoof in front of the other." She reassured the young filly with a smile. "Now go make some new friends and remember to have fun, otherwise what's the point?"
Black Diamond looked up with puppy dog eyes at her friend. "But you'll call by tomorrow right? I can make your favourite daisy and daffodil sandwiches if you like?" Twilight smiled placing her hoof under the filly's chin. "Okay, I can't promise you a time but I will call in and see you. Now young lady, go and have fun and get laid for goodness sake! That's a princess's order!" She giggled pleased that she made the filly smile. Black Diamond gave Twilight a hug catching the princess off guard. "Is this more of your filly hormones?" She jested. Black Diamond held on tight a moment. "No, I just want to give you a hug for everything." Twilight smiled hugging her back. "I'll see you soon. I promise."
It was just turning six when Black Diamond arrived at the front door, she was just about to knock when the door swung open. "Well howdy sugarcube! Ah love your hair! C'mon in and meet the family! This here is Granny Smith..." Granny Smith turned from her baking to greet Black Diamond "Well hey there young'un!" She yelled over before putting her tray in the oven as Applejack continued as she pointed a hoof to a small yellow pony over yonder. "And this here is mah lil sister Apple Bloom and her two friends Scootaloo n' Sweetie Belle n ah would introduce you to mah older brother Big Mac but he's still busy workin' on somethin' in tha barn. As ya can probably tell we're pretty laid back 'round here, but everybody pulls their weight to muck in but it's your first time so we'll go easy on ya!" Applejack gave a smile and a wink making Black Diamond giggle nervously.
Applejack put her hoof reassuringly on the filly's shoulder. "Hey Apple Bloom! Come and meet the new filly in town! Black Diamond! " She yelled through the house before a stampede of hooves could be heard galloping towards them. It wasn't long before three fillies clustered up the doorway. "Oh hey there! I'm Apple Bloom! And these are my friends Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle! And we are the Cutie Mark Crusaders! Nice tah meet yah! Say do yah have your Cutie Mark yet? We can help you find it if ya want!" She scampered round Black Diamond's flank looking at her rear, slightly disheartened upon finding the diamond upon the filly's flank. "Oh well, nevermind. I'm pleased you got it, how long have you had it?"
Black Diamond was caught a little off guard. "Um, not long actually, I only got it a few days ago." She smiled. Apple Bloom noticed her tail braid. "Ohh, that's a lovely braid and your mane too! Wow! It looks so pretty with those flowers tied in! Come and check this out girls!" Apple Bloom called her two friends over to admire them making Black Diamond blush. "Well you can thank princess Twilight, she did all the hard work. I was thinking that maybe after dinner I can style your manes too...if you'd like?...Err...I brought some accessories along with me too." She unwrapped the paper showing the same flowers which Twilight had put in her mane.Wow that's really nice of you Black Diamond! " She smiled at the Crusaders, starting to relax in her new environment. Applejack gave her a nudge. "Well you fillies go n get tah know eachother s'more before dinner and don't be late!" She called out as the four fillies cantered off to play.
After dinner
Sitting back in her seat, Black Diamond was absolutely stuffed. She hadn't realised how hungry she was and how the Apple family cooking always hits the spot. "You want seconds, sugar cube?" Applejack asked. Black Diamond tried sitting up straight to reply to her generous host. "Thank you, but I couldn't possibly take another bite."
"Th...They're currently working in Fillydelphia." She looked around the table knowing that a barrage of questions were heading her way, so she thought quick on her hooves and carried on with as much confidence as she could muster. "You see my parents are very busy ponies with very important jobs my dad is in construction. He helps to levitate the heavy beams and such and my mom is a small time journalist. They're very proud of what they do." She smiled hoping it was a believable story.
Applejack studied her young guest a moment before raising a suspicious eyebrow. "So why are you here an' not with them sugar cube?" She realised the food was getting cold and changed the subject. "So are you going to eat or what?"
She smiled softly passing him a sandwich with her magic. "Thank you Black Diamond." Accepting it and taking a bite. "So Pip, tell me more about yourself." She asked.
"Oh Pip Squeak, that sounds just wonderful. All of those amazing adventures you've had. Perhaps you'll take me on one some day." She said gazing wide eyed at the young steed. He gulped hard but steeled himself as he went back into character. "You would risk life and limb against pirates and bandits or worse, just to join me on a whirlwind adventure? Chapter 10
Shortly after dropping Black Diamond off at the Apples family home, Twilight walked back towards Ponyville. Along the bridleway she let her mind wander over the past few days as she headed back to her library. Sweetie Belle pulled Rumble towards her until their lips met as they flopped down on to the couch in a loving embrace. Whilst at the door the two Pegasi raced eachother around an invisible track above their generous host's steading.
She looked around watching the young couples enjoying themselves realising that she was the odd pony out at her own party. She levitated a couple of bottles of cider with her magic before sneaking off upstairs to her room. She picked up the photo of Thunderlane on the before throwing herself onto her bed. She gazed at the picture taking a heavy gulp of the delicious cider as if she was tasting the masculine pegasi. Twilight gasped slamming the book shut as the Conductor asked for her ticket. She anxiously smiled upon seeing the red filling his cheeks as he couldn't help smelling her sex which was hanging thick in the air. He politely cleared his throat and as she passed her ticket. "Seems every mare in Equestria is reading that book at the moment, the wife loves it." He punched her ticket smiling softly trying to make the unicorn feel less embarrassed before passing the stub back. "You have a lovely journey Princess Twilight." He doffed his cap to her as he left, closing the door behind him.
Meanwhile in Ponyville
The three ponies collapsed back into the mattress panting and dripping in sweat. "Oh Black Diamond! That was amazing!" Applebloom squeaked her chest pounding as she gasped beginning to laugh as the cool air tickled her sensitive plot as she let her hind legs fall open. "Thanks for letting me do that!"
