Daniel Book Two

"What's next Daring?" Daniel said quickly. "We need to lose those jerks." Daniel said.

"Okay, you have to pull the correct rope, and hope it get's you to the other side. You're on your own for this one Dan." Daring replied. Daniel nodded, and saw five ropes, he grabbed the one closest to him and gave it a tug, lava poured down, and Daniel barely dodged it.

"Okay, not doing that rope again." Daniel muttered under his breath, he gave a different rope a pull, and this time an arrow flew past his head. "Or that one." Daniel said.

"It's amazing you're still alive." Spike said, Daniel nodded in agreement. Daniel went to the third rope, and pulled it, this time, opening a hidden passage to the left. Everypony stepped through it, just as Fluttershy and Trick Coin made it up the stairs.

"Run." Daniel hissed, and once more, they all broke into a sprint, but Fluttershy was on them in an instant, Once again she swung her knife, and Daniel countered with his tail, slicing the knife in half. Daniel flicked his tail, and cut Fluttershy in the front knee, as she went down, he ran, with the others.

"Don't move!" Daring yelled. Everypony froze, a large sharp blade swung down, and cut off a few stray strands of hair from Daring's mane. "Okay! Go!"

They all ran forward, and the large blade fell once again, this time blocking Fluttershy's way towards them, they all ran forward, and up yet another set of stairs. "You know your girlfriend is a bit of a bitch Gilda!" Daniel yelled.

"Well excuse me for not knowing that she was a bucking NINJA!" Gilda retorted.

"RUN!" Daring yelled, just as Fluttershy got up the stairs. The roar of The Hope Devourer behind them, they sprinted for the third.

"There's two of them!?" Ditzy shouted  unbelievingly.

"Yeah, only this one is bigger!" Daniel yelled, pushing forward, Fluttershy close behind them, and The Hope Devourer right behind her. "Oh shit!" Daniel yelled.

"You said that already, several times." Daring yelled.

"I'll say it again, and again! SHITSHITSHIT!" Daniel yelled, diving into the doorway, followed closely by everypony else, nopony even hesitated to close the door, they just ran up the stairs. Fluttershy chasing after them. "Okay, Daring, what's next?" Daniel asked, surprisingly calmly.

"Traps, I'll set them off, then you guys can go." Daring said.

"Just one problem with that." Daniel said worriedly.

"And what would that be?" Daring replied.

"There's a bitch style Fluttershy- ninja- pony on my tail!" Daniel yelled. Daring just shrugged and got to work on setting off the traps Fluttershy walked slowly towards Daniel.

"Ah you got to be kidding me." Daniel groaned. Fluttershy flew into the air, and charged down bringing her hooves into Daniel's chest, knocking him back a few feet. Daniel shook it off, and got rid of is tail, and drew his sword. "Fluttershy, if you leave now, I won't harm you, but if you continue fighting I'll have to OOF--" Daniel was cut off by a sudden kick to the groin, and his blade fell from his hands. Fluttershy jumped over Daniel, but this time met with a very angry Ditzy.

"You better pray that Daniel's alright. Daniel?" She said. Daniel gave a thumbs up, then fell over. "Bitch." Ditzy swung her hoof, and hit Fluttershy in the chest, she then grew to her full form, and held Fluttershy in a magical arua, when suddenly Fluttershy disappeared. "Alright, that should hold her for a while, let's get going." Ditz said, Daniel got to his feet, feeling the pain subsiding, he sheathed his sword, and converted it back into his tail.

"Traps are set!" Daring called. The rest of the team walked across.

"Thanks." Daniel grumbled. Daring nodded. They went up the stairs, as the air seemed to both warm up, and freeze at the same time. It also began to stink. Daniel got up, but the stair way door was shut instantly by an unseen force, and a grumbling, almost a growl seemed to come by. Daniel looked up, and growing very slowly out of the ground, was none other than himself, only darker. The room had a small island in the middle of it, and it seemed to stretch on forever, the ground was covered by water, a very thin layer of it though...
