After the ninja were left behind on the comet where the Golden Weapons had landed, the Nindroids proceeded to make their way back to Earth with what they retrieved, while Spike was able to get back his Trident during their mission, what they had was more then enough to help the Overlord become the Golden Master.

They flew through the void of space back to the planet far away, and they had soon entered the atmosphere like a meteor, heading straight towards Borg tower after they had took it over again. After some time, the Nindroids finally landed down on top of the tower with the Golden Weapons in tow.

They wasted no time to get things moving immediately. As multiple Nindroids move out of the way and stand across from eachother, the Overlord finally emerges from the door with his new body getting stronger by the minute. But he was still moving very slowly due to the lack of power, but it won't be like this for long, as at this moment, the weapons were being melted down in the factory to form the ultimate armor that would make him unstoppable.
"Have they melted down the Golden Weapons?" Overlord asked impatiently while Cryptor and Pythor were walking right besides him.

"Yes, the Golden Armor will be ready shortly for your evil bidding, my Dark Lordship." Pythor replied respectfully while they kept making they're way to the factory entrance.

But upon seeing that Borg was still here and under their control, Overlord was upset at the sight of him as he had served his purpose here long enough.
"Borg's still here?! What use do we have of him now that Project Arcturus is completed?" Overlord asked with an upset look as Pythor hissed at him which left the controlled Borg shocked hearing that.

As this was happening, what was once the other Ninja's weapons were now being melted down and forged into something far deadlier, and as the Overlord finally walked into the factory to take in the sight, he laughed evilly as he saw the progress was going along well.
"Yes.... yes! Behold the beginnings of the Golden Master!" Overlord shouted with malice as the remains of the weapons were being forged into the armor at this moment.

And as this happened, Borg was finally set free from his controlled state, but was on the ground and couldn't move as he was disabled, and couldn't do anything to stop it.
"Your.. your releasing me? But what have you done? What now?" Borg asked with fear as Cryptor looked down at him.

"Now you watch your city, and all of Ninjago fall! And bow to a new master! But, it looks like you've already got that part down!" Cryptor said mockingly as Borg was on the ground still which made some of the Nindroids laugh at him.

"How can I stop this?" Borg asked himself as he was forced out of the factory to let the Nindroids continue their work, and he tried finding a place to hide to form a plan to stop them.

But far away, back on the comet, Spike and the others were trying to get rid of all the alien bugs that were still attacking them, and it was getting more frustrating as they just kept coming no matter what they did.
"Ugh! These Bugs just keep coming! And we are getting nowhere!" Kai shouted as he tried using his Fire to chase them away, and Spike tried using his Trident's power to use the various elements he can use to get rid of them.

"Even with our powers, I don't think we're gonna be able to get rid of these pests! We need to come up with another plan!" Spike shouted with frustration while Jay felt hopeless about this.

"I don't think there's anyway off this comet Spike! Nya, do you have any last words to say to me, my darling?" Jay asked dramatically which Cole was upset with.

"How about" it was always you Cole? I won't be able to carry on without you!"" Cole said mockingly which Nya just found frustrating.

"Now is not the time for that! Can't I just care for both of you? Just don't give up!" Nya encouraged while they tried figuring out a way out of this.

"My dad was right, I should have never given up all that Golden Power! We could have all been home by now." Lloyd said regretfully while the camera pins out to the comet their all stuck on.

"Can't dad use his Golden Weapon to find a way to get you out of there? He can form his own dragon to fly right?" Allison asked over the coms which Spike sighed regretfully at.

"I don't have enough power to even reach home myself! Besides, I'm not leaving any of my friends behind on this place!" Spike replied while his weapon continued to glow strangely, like it was responding to what's happening with the other weapons.

"Even if we could find our way back, the Overlord has all he needs to become the Golden Master!" Lloyd said with fear at what could be happening right now back home.

"Don't say that! I was wrong. You must trust your friends, trust in yourself!" Garmadon encouraged while Pixal, Allison and Misako saw the footage of the Nindroids return to their planet.

"They've returned with the Golden Weapons. We don't have much time left!" Pixal said with worry as they saw the weapons being lowered down onto the tower.

"At least my dad has his Golden Weapon back.." Allison said with some relief as they won't be able to use it for harm, but that's only saying so much knowing the odds that are against them.

"Search for the power within, and then realize the greatness within eachother!" Wu encouraged as everyone tried figuring something out.

But after hearing those words, it finally gave Lloyd an idea on what they could do despite the huge problem their in.
"He's right! We can get off this comet!" Lloyd said as he looked towards the broken down ship that still had spare parts they could use.

"What about your power Lloyd?" Kai suggested as he could try to make it back himself too.

"He couldn't make it that far, it's just like what Spike said, he doesn't have the power to reach it." Zane replied which made Kai more worried on what to do.

"Ugh, no one happens to have a build your own rocket kit handy, do they?" Cole asked sarcastically which finally gave Lloyd an idea on what they can do.

"That's it!" Lloyd suddenly shouted in realization which made them hopeful he had an idea.

"What do you have in mind Lloyd?" Spike asked as they all looked at him for answers.

"Cole's got a point! We can build our own rocket! Arcturus can't fly, but she'll have all the parts we need! Zane knows the solar system better then anyone!" Lloyd pointed out which gave them an idea on what he's implying.

"And Kai's fire could weld the missing parts! And Spike has all of our powers to help keep the rocket Together!" Zane added while pointing at both of them.

"And with enough power, we could have just enough to make it back home!" Spike said with a smile while he looked at his weapon yet again.

"And with Cole, he can do all the heavy lifting!" Kai informed again while they all finally got an understanding of what to do.

"And Jay has enough nerd knowledge to make a halfway believable spacecraft!" Cole pointed out too which Jay did find offensive at first before realizing the other things he said.

This.. may actually work!" Jay said with hope as they all gathered around to get things going.

"You ready to do this guys?" Spike asked with a confident look while they all high fived eachother.

"Let's give it a shot Spike! Let's go!" Kai shouted as they all did their parts and went around the remains of the ship to build what they could.

They worked as fast as they could in order to build a rocket big enough for all of them to fit inside, this was their only hope of getting back home to stop the Overlord, and they weren't gonna waste any time with it. Spike used each of his powers to help take apart multiple pieces of metal for Kai to weld together, Cole used his strength to bring the heavy parts to somewhere they can build things together. And they all worked together and did everything they could to find a way off this comet.

And soon enough, by a small miracle, they finally were able to make their own rocket that could take them home. All of them quickly got into the thing and made sure to have everything ready.
"Boosters?" Lloyd asked with a hopeful look while everyone checked the status.

"Check!" Kai replied while Lloyd looked at Jay next.

"Electronics?" Lloyd asked again which Jay confirmed too.

"Check!" Jay replied too while Spike gave a thumbs up to Lloyd before he could even ask.

"Everything's stable and put together properly!" Spike informed which was good to hear.

"Great! And are our navigation systems working?" Lloyd asked again towards Zane who nodded in response.

"Affirmative!" Zane replied too as Cole was the last one to confirm things.

"We've got all the parts we need, we're ready Lloyd!" Cole said respectfully which was all they needed to know.

"Let's go home guys!" Lloyd announced which made Zane plug in a cable to give the rocket power which was quickly draining it, and with all the work they've done, they were finally able to take off from the comet, and were heading back to Earth as fast as possible.

"They have a lift off!" Nya cheered which made everyone cheer with joy and relief as they were on their way back at this very moment.

"Come on, let's make sure to help them get back safely!" Allison hissed while they quickly left the Monastery to make sure they get back home.

But as this was happening, within Ninjago city, the citizens were currently going about their day without much trouble, but all of that was quickly ruined as loud stomping was suddenly heard, and multiple people began screaming with fear as something huge made it's way through the city.
"What now?! Hasn't Ninjago suffered enough already?!" A woman asked with fear as she and multiple people were running away as a statue of Borg had tumbled over from the ground shaking.

And just in the distance, an army of Nindroids were marching through the streets, and in between all of them, was the Overlord in his new fully complete armor.
"I was trapped in Lord Garmadon, then I was trapped in the Digiverse.. now.. I am free! Bow to your Golden Master!" Overlord said with malice as he was now in an enormous mech suit with spider like legs that all had plating's of the Golden Armor around it, making it too dangerous for one to simply attack. And the people of Ninjago screamed as he marched through the city, and began to force all of it to surrender.

But just outside the planet's atmosphere, Spike and the others were finally approaching the planet at fast speeds, but their rocket ship was starting to struggle to stay together, and they all were praying they could make it in time.
"Hold on! We're almost there!" Cole shouted as the alarm was going off while Zane was feeling very weak from the power being used.

"My power source has reached critical mass! It appears my unlimited energy is in fact, limited!" Zane said with fear while Spike tried using his weapon to keep the ship together.

"My weapon can only do so much to keep this thing together! We may not have enough power to make it through the atmosphere!" Spike shouted as his weapon was glowing brightly as it tried keeping things together.

"Does this mean the ship may blow up if it overloads?!" Jay asked with fear as the alarm was getting louder.

"Don't worry about us! We'll try keeping things together as long as we can!" Zane shouted back while the energy was still being drained from him.

"No way Zane! Entering the Atmosphere means we have air!" Lloyd shouted to all of them who were confused on what he's meaning.

"What do you have in mind Lloyd?" Spike asked again while he was still struggling to do his part.

"With just enough air, we can try to use that new technique we've tried to develop! Let's try and use our powers to form Elemental Shields around us to keep us safe!" Lloyd suggested which sounded like it could work.

"Here goes nothing!!" Spike screamed as they all harnessed their powers and formed it around them, and just as the ship finally exploded from all the pressure, Spike and the others formed shields around them for the first time to keep them safe as they dove through the sky back towards Earth together.

And back on Earth, just outside of Ninjago city, Scales and his son were watching multiple people flee the city out of fear of the Golden Master, and he only sighed regretfully seeing it's all only a matter of time.
"We tried to warn them junior, now, this is their fight to lose.." Scales hissed just as Spike and the others were falling through the sky to the city which the people were able to see.

"It's the ninja!" The mailman shouted with fear as everyone saw them fly over the city just beyond it, and it left Pythor furious knowing their all alive.

"They've returned?! How?!" Pythor asked with fury while the Overlord found this more frustrating then anything.

"If the Ninja, and that pathetic dragon is what gives the people hope, then we'll destroy them! Prepare for battle!" Overlord screamed as he held his hands in the air and began using the powers he had now obtained thanks to the Golden Weapons.

And from that power, he shot multiple beams of Golden Energy to multiple buildings around the city, and with them connecting together, he used his power to force them together like he was building a wall.

And just as this moment, Spike and the other's were getting a bit too close to the ground, and they didn't have any way to slow themselves down before hitting it.
"I hate to bring this up now, but some parachutes could've come in handy!" Cole shouted with fear while they tried to slow themselves down.

"Friends and family make a good substitute!" Kai shouted with fear while Pixal and everyone else were approaching where they were to meet up with them.

"Coordinating catch, be on the lookout! Kai, go for 56 degrees north, 12 east!" Pixal instructed as Kai's jet was coming into catch him in time, and Kai did just that and safely landed in his jet which was taking him to the ground.

"Dad! All of you look to your right!" Allison screamed from the intercom as they saw their vehicles coming in next to save them.

"Got it! Come on!" Spike screamed as he dove right down to his hover bike, and landed on it skillfully and finally landed down safely along with everyone else.

"Ninja go!!" Everyone screamed once again as they all landed on the ground safely, and had finally returned home after such an insane space adventure.

"Welcome home Ninja!" Wu said with relief while they all met up together in their vehicles.

"Thank goodness your back! That was too close!" Allison said with relief while she got off Wu and Garmadon's vehicle to give Spike another hug yet again.

"I think we've had enough space adventures to last a lifetime if you ask me, right guys?" Spike asked playfully which the others chuckled at.

"You can say that again!" Lloyd said jokingly while they all took a moment to rest after all of that.

And as they all stood by eachother's side in their vehicles, they now had one job left to deal with before all is said and done.
"Brother, I can't remember the last time we fought together on the same team." Garmadon said with a smile while they all could see Ninjago City just ahead of them.

"I have the city in my sights!" Zane shouted as they saw it was just ahead of them, but because of the Overlords power, he had morphed the city together and formed a giant wall around the buildings closest to the outside, and was making it harder for them to even enter the place.

"That isn't a city anymore Zane, that's an impenetrable fortress!" Jay pointed out while they tried figuring out what to do.

"Behind that wall, the Golden Master has all the power now, of the First Spinjitzu Master." Garmadon said with anger as they saw it move around to the Overlords will.

But just at that moment, Borg was finally coming back onto their coms after he was captured, but finally let go after serving his purpose, and had a plan that could help them put a stop to this.
"Ninja, if you get this, I've managed to escape and have found refuge! I am in a special Temple deep within the city known as the Temple of Fortitude." Borg informed which Wu remembered thanks to it's known history.

"That was a temple left over from the Stone Wars! The Overlord used it as a stronghold to repel the power of the First Spinjitzu Master!" Wu informed while Garmadon had knowledge of the temple as well.

"It has a sacred seal of protection that could resist the Golden Power! Very clever"! Garmadon added while Spike raised an eyebrow as they learned this.

"And your all just telling us this now?" Spike asked with an annoyed look as that could've been better to know during the free time they had before this whole mess.

"If you can make it here alive, I think I have a device that can defeat him! But Spike will need to find a secure place for his Golden Weapon, it will not let him through as long as he has it!" Borg informed which Spike groaned at as he just got this thing back.

"I'll try finding a place to hide this thing where the Nindroids won't find it." Spike replied as he tried figuring out where to hide this thing.

"Don't worry Spike, I'll keep them distracted while your all heading there, I'll make sure to be just outside the temple for you guys!" Nya announced which Spike was very grateful for.

"Thanks Nya! Please be careful with this!" Spike shouted as he tossed his weapon to her and caught it with her suit, and she placed it in a secure part of it to keep it safe.

"Alright, now that we have a plan, you guys ready to get going?" Allison asked while she hopped on Spike's vehicle and held on as this is gonna be a rough ride.

"We need to make it to that Temple if we want to stop this! Everyone, stay together!" Lloyd ordered as they all began driving to the city to begin the battle.

"Kai, you Nya and Zane take the high road! We'll make our own route!" Lloyd ordered while they were driving even faster to get inside. Spike drove his hover bike across a building that could help them get across.

"Dad! Through that window!" Allison shouted as they saw Lloyd jump off a ramp and crash through an open window that helped him get into the city.

"Got it! Good move Allison!" Spike shouted as he did a U turn and headed directly towards the window before going through it himself, and he and Allison cheered with joy as they jumped out of the other side and made it through too.

"i don't have time for this finesse!" Cole shouted as he used his mech to charge straight through the wall without much trouble, and everyone else on the ground followed behind him as they were about to make it to the city.

But as Kai, Zane and Nya tried flying higher, the Overlord was using his power to raise the buildings higher to prevent their progress which they quickly took notice of.
"Is that wall getting higher to you too guys?" Nya asked with worry as they saw it rising just ahead of them.

"It's just like the Digiverse! His turf, his rules!" Zane informed as debris was being flown around the sky to try and take them down, but with their skills, they were able to avoid being hit as they tried reaching the Temple together.

The Overlord was using his power to cause chaos through the city, using levitation powers to make many parts of the city fly around, and as he saw Kai flying overhead, he tried shooting him down while everyone else was driving through the city.
"The Temple's up ahead!" Wu shouted as they drove through tons of obstacles and debris to get there in time. And before some Nindroids could harm the civilians, Nya flew in and used the mech's claws to knock them away before trying to get back on course.

"Two down, and moving onwards to the ne..!" Nya shouted just before her suit was hit by a flying car which instantly took her suit offline, and it was sent crashing down into some debris which left her unable to keep going.

"Nya's down! I repeat Nya's down!" Kai shouted over the intercom which scared both Cole and Jay for her safety.

"I'll go back for her!" Cole announced just as Jay interrupted to stop him.

"No, I'll go back!" Jay interrupted again while Spike got in between them to stop this.

"She has my Golden Weapon with her! I'll go back to save her! We can't risk it falling into the wrong hands!" Spike shouted with frustration as this was not the time to argue about this again.

"Go back, and our probability to make it to the Temple exponentially decreases!" Zane warned which they didn't care for.

"This isn't about numbers Zane, it's about family!" Kai shouted back while Spike used his powers to freeze more Nindroids in Crystal while they almost harmed some innocent people as they drove by.

"Lloyd! Your near here location! You may be able to get her in time before we do!" Allison informed which Lloyd saw was a good plan.

"Allison has a point! I'll go save Nya, let's go guys!" Lloyd shouted as they all drove together to find where she is.

"I've got her! She's on the corner of Bradley Boulevard and...!" Kai shouted just before a beam of energy shot them all down and knocked them out of their vehicles, and everyone screamed as they went tumbling across the streets due to the impact.

"And.. somewhere..." Kai said weakly as they tried getting up after that rough crash.

"And that's two times our vehicles were wrecked.. we need to pay attention more guys.." Spike said with a cough while Allison helped him up.

But as they tried getting back up, the Overlord landed down before them in his giant suit of armor, and laughed mockingly seeing them on their knees like this.
"The famous Ninja, have time for a meet and greet! Let's dance!" Overlord shouted mockingly as they all quickly got up and were backing up with fear as he laughed evilly, and to their fear, they saw him form a Spinjitzu tornado that could destroy them if it touches them.

"Change of plans! Run!" Lloyd screamed as they tried running away while he was chasing after them, debris around the city was being pulled into the tornado as they tried to escape him, and they had to use their skills in order to avoid being knocked back.

"Look out!" Allison screamed as she and Spike slid under a car while Cole jumped over it while cheering with joy.

"We're almost there! We can make it guys!" Spike encouraged while they ran as fast as they could.

And just on the other side of the city, Nya was trying to get up after that rough crash, and she took out Spike's weapon and tried keeping it safe.
"This is a complete mess!" Nya shouted with frustration just as Cryptor was coming up to her with a mech of his own.

"Now, let's see if the big girl can handle herself without her suit!" Cryptor shouted mockingly while Nya held Spike's weapon tightly and hoped it could help defend herself from him

Spike and the others kept on running as the Overlord was still using Spinjitzu to try and destroy them, and they made use to their ninja skills to make it across the debris in their way as the temple was just ahead of them. Garmadon and Wu were watching just from the entrance of the temple while they saw the Overlord was using Spinjitzu.

And as the ground was shaking due to his overwhelming power, Spike and the others made it across a fence that was just ahead of the Temple, and they kept on running while the Overlord was right behind them.
"Close the doors!" Allison screamed while Wu and Garmadon were doing just that as they were jumping through the doors to get inside.

"Brother! Now!" Wu shouted as they closed the doors tightly to keep them safe.

"Activate the shield!" Garmadon ordered as the Overlord was about to destroy the Temple, but the shield had finally activated which blocked off his Golden Power, and he was furious to see that the Temple he once used, was now being used against him.

"No! No!!" Overlord screamed with fury as the shield was preventing him from making it inside.

Nya jumped out of her suit and tried slashing at Cryptor with Spike's weapon, but since it only worked for Spike, and not her, it was barely able to do anything as it's power can't be used, and Cryptor laughed mockingly as he knocked her back which made her drop his weapon.
"You hit like a little girl!" Cryptor shouted mockingly while Nya was getting very frustrated with him.

"Oh yeah?! How's this for little?!" Nya shouted as she jumped back to him and tried to punch him rapidly which he was easily dodging, and once she made a small mistake, Cryptor punched her back down which made her groan weakly as this wasn't doing anything to help.

The rest of the Nindroids were trying to bring down the shield surrounding the Temple as the Overlord was ready to leave to keep causing chaos.
"Keep shooting the shield! They will break, and die busy!" Overlord ordered as he left them to take it down.

And it could be felt from within the ancient temple which worried the others, and they didn't waste any time to get moving as they won't have long before they break through.
"You said you had a weapon that could stop him?" Lloyd asked hopefully while Borg went up to a open area within the center of the room.

"I do, it's my most protected secret!" Borg said with confidence as a secure looking case came out from the ground which excited the others on what it could be.

"What is it?" Jay asked excitedly while he was working to unlock it.

"It is well protected." Zane complimented while they kept watching him do his job.

"Is it a special weapon of some kind? Like a highly advanced rocket launcher or something?" Spike asked eagerly while Allison was right besides him.

"Or some sort of special armor?" Allison asked too which Borg shook his head at.

"No, it is something far more valuable then that!" Borg said with a smile which made them more eager to see what it is.

"I hope it rocks!" Cole said hopefully while the case was finally opening up.

"Is it dangerous? Is it alive? Is it.. a... a..." Jay said just as his excitement turned to disappointment as they finally saw that it was...

"A pill?!" Jay asked with frustration as Borg took the pill out and showed it to all of them.

"It's not just a pill, it's a nano pill. For all time, scientists have been searching for the holy grail of inventions.. A diet pill, that actually works!" Borg announced while Spike slapped his face after having to many hopes for this.

"Even Twilight was able to develop a shrinking spell before I vanished from my home..." Spike said in his thoughts before he regained focus to see what this can do.

The Temple was still being attacked by the army of Nindroids who had almost broken through the shield, and they didn't want to just stand around for them to get inside.
"Wait until your old, you'll see why it is important." Garmadon assured the others before he suddenly grabbed Borg by the shoulders with a serious look.

"Tell me Borg, does it work?!" Garmadon asked hopefully while looking at the Nano Pill.

"No, but the Nano technology inside has an adverse affect, it not only shrinks your waistline, but miniaturizes you as well!" Borg informed which Zane found confusing.

"You mean, you made a shrinking pill?" Zane asked wanting just a bit more confirmation on what this is.

"Let me get this straight, you want us to get close to someone who has armor that could destroy us in an instant if we touch it, and you want us to give him a pill?" Kai asked with an upset look with how impossible that sounds.

"Precisely!" Borg confirmed which Allison groaned at.

"And how are we supposed to even get close to him?" Allison hissed just as Garmadon remembered something that could help.

"Brother, do you remember when the both of us were on the same team years ago?" Garmadon reminded which Jay thought was a waste of time.

"Uh yeah old timers, can we pay attention, we're trying to save the world here!" Jay shouted with frustration while Wu ignored it, and remembered what he was talking about.

"I do remember, on the playground when we were kids, Templegate Tigers." Wu said with a smile while he held his staff tightly.

"Ha! I threw a mean curve ball, and your stick could thread the needle! We never lost." Garmadon said with hope as this move of theirs could work.

"So true. Get us close to him Ninja, and we'll give the Golden Master his medicine!" Wu instructed which sounded like a plan to them.

And just outside the Temple, the Overlord was still using his power to bring the city to it's knees, and all the people were running around with fear as he was seemingly unstoppable with all the power he has.
"Haha! The people of this city are losing hope! Soon they will bow to you, Golden Master!" Pythor shouted with a smirk while The Overlord shot multiple golden beams around the center of the city, and began forming them all around like a spider web to make things even worse.

Nya was still trying to fight off Cryptor, but was being overpowered as Cryptor threw her to a wall very roughly, and then picked her up by the legs to finish the job.
"What is that perfume I smell? Fear?" Cryptor asked mockingly which Nya was frustrated at.

"Actually, it's called Damsel in Distress! But I don't think it suits me!" Nya insulted while glaring directly at him.

"You think you can mock me?!" Cryptor asked with anger just as Nya looked ahead, and saw the Mindroid was just ahead which gave her an idea.

"Of course! Doesn't anyone? Even Mindroid knows short of a hardrive!" Nya countered again while Mindroid was carrying some stuff for him just behind him which he didn't notice yet.

"Mindroid?! That useless piece of scrap isn't even fit to tighten my bolts!" Cryptor insulted back which the Mindroid was able to hear, and was very ticked off by it. And he soon dropped the stuff he was carrying and was marching right up to him.

"I've met toasters more intelligent then him!" Cryptor mocked again just as Mindroid tapped him on the shoulder, and just as he turned around, Mindroid punched him extremely hard in the chest as payback for that insult, and that gave Nya the moment to free herself while Mindroid was getting into a fight with Cryptor.

"Alright, let's try and meet up with the others!" Nya told herself as she grabbed Spike's weapon again and ran off to find them in time.

Back within the Temple, Spike and the others were being given a very special suit of armor that belonged to the Stone Warrior's from long ago, and despite how old and worn down they looked, Spike could feel a big power coming from them that could keep them safe.
"Are you sure this is gonna protect us?" Kai asked with worry while they carried it up to Wu and Garmadon who knew what this armor could do.

"The Overlord's Stone Warrior's used this against the First Spinjitzu Master, I see no reason why we can't use it against those exact same powers." Garmadon informed which may give them hope.

"As long as this helps us, I'm gonna take the risk." Spike said with hope as he and the others were about to put it on, but as Zane looked at his own, he looked back at Pixal with worry if this plan goes wrong.

"Here, you take it." Zane offered while holding the armor in front of her which she quickly refused.

"No, you are vital to the mission. And don't worry about me." Pixal assured as they looked at eachother again, and felt a connection to eachother as so much was at stake.

"I shall see you again." Pixal assured with a smile which gave him hope they could win.

"Zane. We need to go." Garmadon reminded which made him sigh as he regained focus.

"Don't worry, we'll help the people as much as we can, you just focus on getting close to him." Allison said as they all came together and placed the armor above them.

They soon put the armor on themselves, and with it's power still active, the armor infused with their suits which gave each of them some new metal plating's to keep them safe.
"Guys, the seal! It's broken!" Lloyd shouted as the shield was powering down after the Nindroids finally broke through it.

"Alright, let's do this guys!" Spike screamed as they all started running out of the temple together with their new armor, and just at that moment, Nya finally showed up in time with Cryptor's own mech, and she used it to quickly tear down the Nindroids in order to let them through.

"Better late then never, go get em Ninja!" Nya encouraged as she took out Spike's Trident and threw it to him, and Spike caught it with one claw and placed it on his back.

"Thanks for keeping my weapon safe Nya! Your the best!" Spike shouted thankfully while they ran past her to end this.

They all ran across the rooftops of the city in order to reach the Overlord who was likely at the center of the city, and they all braced themselves as this battle could go wrong if they make a mistake.
"Feels just like old times, doesn't it?" Wu asked playfully while he and Garmadon ran alongside eachother.

"Yes, it feels good!" Garmadon replied just before the glass in a nearby building suddenly shattered, and was being morphed into a huge hand from the Overlord's power.

"Look out!" Spike screamed as he raised his Trident in the air as the hand almost crushed them, but thanks to their special armor, it was able to propel the power and destroy the hand upon contact, and they all were amazed as it actually worked.

"I don't believe it! The armor's working!" Cole said with surprise while they looked at the armor which was still protecting them.

"Keep going! We have to take the heat off the sensei's!" Jay screamed as they ran across the golden beams that were like a spider's web to reach the center faster.

"We're almost there! Come on! We can do it everyone!" Spike screamed as they were tearing through the strings without any effort which was making the Overlord more upset seeing it isn't working.

"My powers! Why aren't they working?! They won't stop coming!" Overlord screamed as the people cheered for them as they ran across the rooftops to finally reach him. The Overlord tried one last attempt to block their path by using the vehicles around the city, but their armor made short work of it, and they burst their way through his defenses before they finally came to the center of the city.

Everyone stood together as they all looked above and saw the Overlord had turned the center of the city into a giant golden spider web to use his powers on everything around him, and as they got ready to put an end to this, Pythor slithered below him and knew how they could make them slip up.
"Then attack the people!" Pythor ordered which the Overlord agreed with. And he used his powers to cause many pieces of rubble to fall onto the streets while people were running away with terror.

"We have to save the people!" Lloyd screamed as they all saw the people being attacked down below.

"No! We need to get the sensei's closer!" Kai reminded which made it tough for them to decide on what to do.

But as the people were running around with fear, Scales and the rest of the Serpentine emerged from the manhole cover's below, and knew of a way to keep them all safe.
"People of Ninjago! Follow me!" Scales announced to every citizen around the area, and the rest of the Serpentine helped the people retreat underground for their own safety which Jay was caught off guard by.

"The Serpentine are on our side?! Now I have seen it all!" Jay shouted with surprise while Spike smiled and crossed his arms seeing Scales and the Serpentine really have reformed.

"At least they'll keep the people safe. It gives us enough time to put an end to this!" Spike shouted as he and the others turned back to the Overlord once again.

"We'll never get close enough!" Kai shouted again just as Garmadon and Wu finally caught up with them again to use their little technique.

"We won't need to! Ready to thread the needle brother?" Garmadon as he looked back towards Wu.

"Let's show them what old timers can do!" Wu said with confidence which let the other's stand back for them to try this out.

Garmadon started things off by jumping off the rooftop first to go right down to the strings below him, and once he landed on it, he quickly bounced off of it just as Wu jumped off next to head straight to him. And as Wu landed on Garmadon's shoulder, Garmadon used his strength to toss him higher up in the air to get him high enough, and he then threw the pill up next which Wu was able to see.

He took out his staff and screamed as he whacked the thing as hard as he could to send it to the Overlord. Everyone was in awe as the pill was flying directly towards the Overlord's mouth while Wu and Garmadon landed back down safely, but just as it looked like that move could actually work.. Pythor ruined it by jumping in and eating the pill himself to save him, and everyone groaned with disappointment and shock as that was their only chance.
"Are you kidding me?!" Spike screamed with frustration while Pythor coughed weakly after swallowing it, and as a result of the pill's nanotech, it suddenly shrunk him down to the size of a small doll.

"Ahh! What's happening to me?!" Pythor screamed as his body shrunk down to the point he couldn't do any harm again as his voice was becoming higher the more he shrunk.

"No!!" Pythor screamed with fear and anger as he saw Zane's falcon coming in to capture him, and Pythor screamed with fear as he tried fleeing from the falcon which swooped down to capture him.

But with the nano pill gone, Spike and the ninja were left without any other options to take the Overlord down, even Spike's Golden Weapon wasn't enough to match the Overlord's power with how strong he's gotten.
"Was that it?! Was that.. all.. you've... got?!" Overlord asked with anger as the strings of golden energy began wrapping around Spike and the other's which made them start screaming with fear.

"Dad! No!!" Allison screamed as she, Borg, Nya and Pixal finally made it to the center from another rooftop, but as hard as Spike tried, his weapon wasn't able to break through the Overlord's power, and their armor wasn't able to protect them for much longer as they were all being overwhelmed.

"The armor! Why isn't it working?!" Cole screamed with fear as they tried escaping the golden energy was breaking through it.

"Because, your time is over!" Overlord screamed as he tried to capture Zane who was the only one still standing, and he quickly backflipped away from the ones trying to catch him, and knowing he has no other choice, he was the only one left to stop him.

"Support me friends, for one.. last time.." Zane prayed as he took off his mask, and began jumping across Spike and the others to reach the Overlords armor.

"Zane! No!" Spike screamed as Zane bounced off him last, and Spike could only watch with dread as Zane went high enough to reach the Overlords armor, and the moment he touched the armor's power, it instantly began to overwhelm his power source which wouldn't last much longer the longer he held onto it.

"Let.. my friends.. go!!" Zane screamed with pain as he tried forcing him to let them go.

"Go where? Doomed Ninja?!" Overlord asked mockingly as Zane's body was beginning to shake from the overwhelming power.

Everyone wasn't able to do anything as Zane didn't let go of the armor, and the power was starting to overwhelm him so much, it made a piece of his face fall off as it exposed the robotic parts of him, but Zane wasn't letting go, and he wasn't gonna let anyone harm his friends.
"The Golden Weapons are too powerful for you to hold all at once! Your chance at survival, is zero!!" Overlord shouted with anger while Zane was trembling from the power going through him

"This.. isn't about numbers.. it's.. about.. family. And I.. won't let you harm.. mine!!" Zane screamed as he tried to channel the power to come to him which loosened the strings holding everyone down, and they all fell to the ground roughly after the power was drained.

"Zane!!" Spike screamed with terror as they saw his power source was going past it's critical mass, and it was glowing far more then it ever should while his heart monitor was beeping rapidly.

"He's not letting go!" Lloyd screamed as they saw he wasn't trying to get out of there at all.

"His heart! It's reaching critical mass!" Jay screamed as they saw the power was too much for him.

"If it overloads, he'll blow! He'll never survive!" Cole shouted again while Kai pushed past him.

"Let go of him Zane! What is he doing?!" Kai asked with dread as they all looked up towards him.

"He's protecting us!" Wu shouted as Zane wasn't letting go, and was not gonna give up to keep his friends safe.

"I.. am a Nindroid! And Ninja.. never.. quit!" Zane screamed as his heart monitor was beeping even faster.

"Go Ninja.. go!!" Zane screamed as he shot an extremely powerful ice blast directly at the Overlord which was starting to create a blizzard, and even the Overlord wasn't able to handle the amount of power he was channeling.

"What are you doing?! Let me go you fool!" Overlord screamed as Zane's body was glowing even brighter, and his face was morphing to the point it looked like it was gonna blow which horrified everyone seeing it.

"No Zane! No!!" Jay screamed as he and Spike tried to stop him from getting himself killed.

"We have to save him! Please! We can't let him do this!!" Spike screamed while he had tears as ice was falling down around the city from his power, and Wu and Garmadon had no choice but to push everyone back to keep them safe.

"We have to go! Now!" Wu screamed as he pushed them to the nearest manhole cover as everything was being covered with ice.

"ZANE!!!" Spike screamed with sadness as he was dragged into the manhole cover by Garmadon for safety, and Kai and Jay could only watch as the power was too much for him, and it finally began to overwhelm his body..

"No!!" Kai, Spike and Jay screamed with fear and sadness as they covered themselves as a bright light was coming from him, and Pixal, Nya, Borg and Allison were left horrified as they were too late to save him..

"No!" Pixal shouted with fear as they saw he was sacrificing himself to save them.

"Zane.." Allison said with regret as they were backing up from the huge explosion that was about to happen while Zane kept shooting every ounce of Ice he had at the Overlord.

Zane's life began to flash before his eyes as his power was overloading, he knew he wasn't gonna make it out of this. But as he gave everything he had to save his friends, he remembered the most important things in his life.

He remembered all the adventures he went on with his friends, the moments he grew to be close friends with Spike after he had found himself in this world. He was the first real person Spike really got to connect with, and the only thing he prayed Spike could do, was carry on without him.

Everything around him was fading away as the Overlord was screaming with pain for Zane to let go, but Zane didn't move on inch, he only breathed calmly as he remembered how much he meant to everyone. How he was told he was special by Wu, and most importantly, the one he felt a connection too.. Pixal.
"I know who I am!" Zane's words echoed through his mind as he remembered him unlocking his true potential, and using it to save everyone, and reflected on everything leading up to this point.

The only thing Zane could do was smile knowing that if this is it, he went out saving the one's he loves most.
"You were built to protect those who.. cannot protect themselves.." Julien's words echoed through his mind again while Zane smiled one last time as he had finally reached his limit, and his heart monitor made one last beep before it went into a flatline..

And at that moment, Zane's body finally exploded from all the power he had channeled, not only destroying himself, but finally taking down the Overlord with him.

Ice was exploded over half the city which shut down so much of what the city had left, freezing over every other Nindroid that was left, and finally putting an end to all this madness.

Once the explosion finally ended, Spike and the others emerged from the manhole cover, and they were all in complete shock and sadness as they saw the entire city was covered in ice, and Zane.. was no where to be found..

Everyone had met up with eachother to try and find any traces to see if he's alive, but the only thing they found left.. was the remaining half of Zane's face that had fallen off as he sacrificed himself, and everyone was left wordless as they saw that Zane was really gone..

Spike began to break down into tears, and he hugged Allison close to her who was just as devastated f rom his loss, and Nya hugged Cole which left Jay really sad about it while Kai tried comforting him, everyone was grieving his loss, even if he saved all of them, it wasn't without a great cost..

Over a week after his sacrifice, everyone in Ninjago city gathered together to honor this sacrifice, what he did had saved everyone in Ninjago, and they will never forget it. As Spike and the others sat down together to take in what's happened, Borg came up to the front to give a speech to share his own thoughts on this tragedy.
"I thought that Technology could fix all of our problems.. but.. then I saw technology invent new problems. Devastating problems." Borg said with regret while everyone stayed silent as a large picture of Zane was in front of them while something covered up was about to be shown.

"And then.. a Nindroid named Zane, saved us all. He was the perfect balance between us, and technology. He taught us that life should be a balance. Technology can improve our lives, but so can people. And if we focus on one at the expense of the other, that's when the balance is off." Borg continued while Spike still hugged Allison closely while he was still trying to process his grief.

"Our city will find itself again, but this time, with Zane as our compass. And with that.. I give to you.. The Titanium Ninja!" Borg announced as he pulled down the cover which revealed a newly built statue of Zane that was made in his honor, and everyone saw Zane's falcon fly down on it's shoulder, and they all tried taking in this moment to say their goodbyes.

"So.. what.. happens after this?" Nya asked with guilt while they tried figuring something out.

"I don't know.." Cole said regretfully while Jay joined in next.

"And I don't care.. today, it's about Zane." Jay said with tears while Spike looked up at the statue, and hoped that they could move on without him.

"I'm so sorry Zane.." Spike said with guilt while he and Allison stayed close to help eachother while Borg looked at Kai who had something to say himself.

"And now, Kai would like to speak for those who knew him best." Borg announced as Kai stood up and went up to the front to give his own words.

"Everyone wondered what powered Zane, I don't know if we'll ever know. But I'd like to think it was brotherhood. Because he powered me, and he'll still power me as long as his memory lives on. Ninja never quit, and Ninja will never be forgotten." Kai said to the citizens who all stayed silent still while Allison looked down with guilt, and while as she clutched her fist with both guilt and anger for all of this, a small wave of her power moved the rocks below her..

"Wherever you are Zane, you'll always be one of us." Kai finished as he looked up at the sky, and to everyone's surprise, it began to snow all over the city, and everyone smiled as Spike and the others came together, and knew that no matter what, he'll always still be with them.

"We'll miss you.. Zane.." Spike said with tears as they stood together to take in the sight of his statue, and hoped that they could move on, even without him..

Far away from where everyone currently was, Pixal was inside Borg tower, still feeling remorse for his loss, but as Pixal was trying to process this, she suddenly began to hear a recording of something just behind him..
"You are Zane, a droid like me. What does Zane stand for?" Pixal's words repeated which made Pixal look surprised as she went to the monitors, and saw various footage of the time she's spent with him repeat.

"I stand for peace, freedom and courage." Zane's words repeated again while she saw the moment she scanned him on the monitor in the center of the room.

"Your hardware is outdated, and your processor is slow and incompatible, why are you so different?" Pixal's words asked again while she was confused on why this is happening.

"We're all different, but.. I don't feel so different around you." Zane's words said once again which made Pixal think of something important.

"Zane? Is that you?" Pixal asked hopefully while she looked for any signs of him.

"You are vital to me.." Zane's words repeated again as she saw something was happening in the factory at this very moment.

"You are vital to me. And I shall see you again." Pixal's words repeated again as some electricity was flowing through the monitors and was making it's way into the factory.

"I'm.. just.. Zane." Zane's words repeated again as Pixal was left speechless as something was happening in the factory at this very moment.

She wasted no time to make her way back to the factory to see what was happening, and as she was brought into the center of the room, she actually began to smile as she saw something she never thought would happen be built in front of her..
"Are we.. compatible now?" A familiar voice asked as the screen fades to white, leaving what she's seeing a mystery for now..

Thanks for reading this everyone! And that's the end to Season 3! I hope I handles this finale well despite how much happened here, while I do feel like this was rushed in areas like the stuff involving the Ninjas elemental shields, and the Temple of Fortitude which wasn't brought up before, I still enjoyed this finale a lot, especially with Zane's sacrifice as it's one of the most emotional moments in the series for me.

As someone who's lost someone close recently, this moment hit even harder for me after seeing it again, and I always love seeing this scene with how hard it hits.

While I know Spike wasn't able to do much at all even with his Golden Weapon, I couldn't find much to do as things did feel rushed in areas, but I hope I handled this finale well to you all, because it's a highlight of the whole show if you ask me. I'll be moving onto Season 4 soon, and will try to blend Spike in better there as it's now up to 10 episodes instead of 8 like this Season was.
