Continuing on the road to lavaridge town the girls were now taking a break from walking. As for aqua she was still thinking about her defeat at the hands of Vito. Turquoise could tell that loss weighed heavily on her.

“Hey , you did your best, Vito is just stronger,” Turquoise said.

“I know he was too strong,” Aqua said. “I’m just going to have to train my pokemon until they can beat anyone.

“Whoa slow down aqua, you can’t just focus only on the two you have, have you ever thought of catching any new ones? “Fluttershy asked.

“I've been thinking about it but so far no other pokemon we encountered thus far has caught my interest, “Aqua said.

“Well what are you looking for exactly?” Turquoise asked.

“Something cute but also able to hold its own in a battle,” Aqua said.

“What are the odds of a pokemon like that just coming up to us?” Turquoise said. As soon as she said that, the weather began to shift from sunny to snowy in an instant.

“Snow? But how? It’s the middle of summer right now?” Aqua asked. Soon Turquoise noticed two sets of ears poking out of the grass near them, one of which Turquoise recognized.

“Over there, “Turquoise pointed before two Vulpix came out but one of them looked different. Both Aqua and Turquoise pulled out their pokedexes to learn more.

“Vulpix, The Fox Pokemon, Kantonian Form, If it is attacked by an enemy that is stronger than itself, it feigns injury to fool the enemy and escapes, “Aqua’s Pokedex said.

“Vulpix, the Fox Pokemon, Alolan Form, They live together in a skulk, helping one another. Before eating their prey, they freeze it solid with their -58 degree Fahrenheit breath,” Turquoise’s pokedex said.

“Looks like i found my next pokemon, “Aqua said.

“Which one?” Turquoise asked.

“The red one obviously,” Aqua said.

“Then I guess the alolan one is mine, “Turquoise said. Before a battle could ensue a teenage girl with long white hair wearing a uniform of some kind stopped them.

“You poachers are not going to be stealing anything,” the girl said before having her Arcanine stare them down.

“We are not poachers, “Turquoise said.

“Liers, why else would you want those two Vulpix?” She asked.

“Ok girls lunch is, ready?” Fluttershy said before noticing the situation. “What is going on?”

“We don’t know this girl attacked us for no reason,” Aqua said.

“So stealing a couple of Vulpix is considered no reason? “The girl asked.

“We did not steal anything unless you're saying these two belong to you,” Turquoise said.

“They do not,” The girl said.

“Ok enough, why don’t we all just sit down and talk this over some food,” Fluttershy said. They all agreed and soon things de-escalated.

“Sorry for attacking you girls, i thought you were poachers trying to steal pokemon,” The girl said before introducing herself. “I’m Rei and I work for the fox village.

“Fox village?” Aqua asked.

“It’s a sanctuary for fox-like pokemon where they get to roam around freely while taking refuge and recovering from injury,” Rei said.

“So these two?” Turquoise asked, referring to the Vulpix.

“Are a couple of escapees, I don't know why they keep running away when their parents don’t want them to go anywhere,” Rei said. Little did they know Isabelle, Chris, and Meowth were listening in on the conversation.

“Did you hear that, A whole village of pokemon to steal,” chris said.

“And all cute,” Isabelle said.

“I bet Jessie and James would want them all, “Meowth said.

“Well then let’s get stealing,” Chris said before Meowth stopped him.

“Slow down there Chris, do you want the Twerpettes to know we are here?” Meowth said.

“Of course not,” Chris said.

“Then for now we tail them, " Meowth said. Fluttershy packed everything up and Rei carrying the two Vulpix showed them to the fox village which had some Japanese shrine vibes including two ninetails statues, one gold and one silver.

“This is the fox village?” Aqua asked not impressed with the lack of pokemon.

“Yep this is it,” Rei said before all the residents came out which consisted of Eevee, Vulpix, Ninetails, Zorua, Zoroark, Fennekin, Braixen, Delphox, Nickit, and Theivul.

“So many Eevee,” Turquoise said as they all loved on her.

“Turquoise seems really happy, “Aqua said.

“That’s because Eevee is her favorite Pokemon, “Fluttershy said.

“Ok little ones leave the trainer alone,” Rei said as all the Eevee dispersed. “You girls enjoy yourselves while I bring these two home. Rei left with the two Vulpix and returned them to what looked like a shrine with both varieties of ninetails each wearing regalia which signify they were royalty. “Now don’t run away again you hear me. Rei left and the two ninetails confined them as punishment for running away. The girls were enjoying the village especially Turquoise who enjoyed all the fluffy fluff she was getting buried in. Soon Rei returned to see how the girls were doing. “How are you girls enjoying the village?

“I love it a lot, “Turquoise said.

“I can tell, you must have a thing for fox pokemon,” Rei said.

“Well I used to own two Eevee, a Vulpix, and a Zorua,” Turquoise said.

“Oh did they evolve and where are they now?” Rei asked.

“My partner who was an Eevee evolved into Espeon during our first gym battle, she is my partner, the second Eevee evolved into umbreon, I saved him from an abusive monster who’s name i will not mention, my Kantonian Vulpix evolved into ninetails and has helped me win many battles back in Kanto, Same with my Zorua which evolved into Zoroark. Currently they are back at Professor Oak's lab while Espeon is traveling with me,” Turquoise said.

“If I may ask, what makes those two Vulpix Special?” Aqua asked.

“They are the two kits of the two rulers of this village, kan of the flame, and Alo of the frost,” Rei said.

“I assume those are Ninetails?” Turquoise said.

“Correct, “Rei said. Suddenly their conversation was interrupted by a huge Nickit robot sucking up all of the residents which made Rei furious.

“Whoever is piloting that monstrosity, come out and face your punishment,” Rei demanded, which caused Isabelle, Chris, and Meowth to laugh mockingly.

“You demand? Listen girl, you don’t know who we are do you? “Isabelle said.

“Should I care? “Rei asked.

“Enough, Team Supernova either you release all those pokemon or we can get aggressive like always,” Turquoise said.

“Oh please, our Nickit bot’s metal plating has been reinforced to the point where even a Tyrantrum can’t break it,” Meowth said.

“A bold statement, but we won’t lose,” Turquoise said as she called out her Espeon. Suddenly the two ninetails from before came out as indicated by both the sun’s rays intensifying and snow coming down. Kan unleashed a flamethrower with the intent to burn a hole through the machine but all it did was superheat it without any damage.

“Nice try but your fire did nothing, “Chris gloated as they turned on the AC inside the cabin. Alo took a crack by unleashing Blizzard which rapidly cooled down the metal and before team Supernova could gloat some more the metal was beginning to crack.

“What just happened?” Aqua asked.

“It’s simple, when hot Metal rapidly cools like that it becomes brittle and breaks,” Turquoise said.

“Ok so you broke our machine but we are not out just yet, Go Sandiconda, “Isabelle said as she called out Sandaconda.

“You too Metagross,” Chris said as he called out Metagross.

“You handle the Alolan one, and I will take the kantonian one,” Isabelle said.

“Roger,” Chris said, knowing how smart that was. The two made quick work of the two Ninetails with their superior type advantage. They then used their net guns to capture them and drove off with them as they recalled their pokemon.

“They can’t get away with this, I'm calling officer Jenny, “Rei said before turquoise stopped her.

“Hold off on that, let us get them back for you,” Turquoise said.

“You really think you can beat them and those powerhouses they have,” Rei said.

“We dealt with them many times before so they are nothing,” Fluttershy said.

“Very well but i’m coming with you,” Rei said as she called out her Arcanine and mounted it. As soon as they left to follow the treads the two Vulpix followed them. A Few miles away from the fox village Team supernova were resting since their mech ran out of fuel.

“Do you think the Dorkettes will back off since we drove three miles from them?” Chris asked.

“Are you kidding, those three would probably follow us to the moon when it comes to saving pokemon, “Isabelle said.

“Either way let’s hope jessie and james get here real quick,” Meowth said. As soon a she said that a helicopter arrived and the two people Meowth just mentioned came out.

“Well done, you three nabbed quite a haul, especially these two,” Jessie said while referring to the two Ninetails.

“How did you do it?” James asked.

“Simple jimmy boy, " Meowth said before explaining. “The twerpettes were so focused on trying to destroy the top half of our Nickit tank they failed to notice that all the pokemon we stole were being funneled into the bottom half so after beating the two ninetails and netting them we drove off with them none the wiser.

“Quite clever, “Jessie said. Soon the girls caught up to them and turquoise was quite shocked by who was with them.

“What are those two doing here?” Turquoise asked.

“Do you know them?” Aqua asked.

“That’s Jessie and James, the two bosses of Team Supernova, “Turquoise said.

“They can’t be that tough since they leave all the work to their lackeys, “Aqua said as she was getting ready to go when Turquoise stopped her.

“Hold it. You should not underestimate any opponent, especially the bosses of a criminal syndicate,” Turquoise said. Unfortunately Turquosie’s warning fell on deaf ears As aqua came charging in anyway.

“All right you thugs, give us back the pokemon you stole,” Aqua demanded with the girls behind her. Suddenly Jessie and James began moving.

“Prepare for trouble, you twerpettes are toast, “Jessie said.

“Make it double, we do mean to boast, “James said.

‘“To protect the world from devastation, " Jessie said.

“To unite all peoples within our nation,” James said.

“To denounce the evils of truth and love,” Jessie said.

“To extend our reach to the stars above, " James said before Meowth instinctively knew what to do.

“Jessie, “Jessie said while posing.

“James, " James said while also posing.

“Team rocket blasts off at the speed of light,” Jessie said.

“Surrender now or prepare to fight,” James said as the two of them posed and Meowth took his spot.

“Meowth, that’s right,” Meoewth said.

“Wobbuffet, “A Wobbuffet said as it appeared out of nowhere.

“Mime mime,” a Mime jr said as it appeared out of nowhere. Suddenly Isabelle and Chris were brought to tears.

“That was beautiful,” Isabelle said.

“I know seeing the bosses do it feels quite magical,” Chris said.

“I don’t get it,” Aqua said, which caused all four of them to comically fall.

“Are you serious, I will have you know, back when we were active field agents for team rocket we poured our hearts and souls into reciting our motto,” Jessie said.

“Yeah so don’t go trampling all over it like that, “James said.

“And just for that Twerpette we won’t be showing any mercy, Go Seviper, Yanmega, and Gourgeist, “Jessie said as she called out her three pokemon.

“You too, Carnivine, Yamask, and Inkay, “James said as he called out his three. Isabelle and chris joined in too with all three of their pokemon which made this a twelve on two battle and Aqua was severely outmatched. Luckily Turquoise and Flutershy backed her up with their pokemon. This was a battle for the ages and the only ones left standing on team Supernova’s side were Sandiconda and metagross who were protected by a sandstorm but were nearly out of strength. Whereas all but espeon was left on Turquoise’s side but she was also almost out of strength.

“Well looks like we win this one, “Isabelle said boastfully, that was until her sandstorm was replaced with snow which meant one thing.

“Not yet, we have a couple of friends who would like some payback for taking their parents,” Turquoise said as both Vulpix came out and this time were facing the correct opponent’s for their typing.

“What can those two possibly do against us? “Chris said mockingly. Alolan Ninetails unleashed Arora beam on Sandiconda while Kantonian Vulpix unleashed Incinerate on Metagross. Both moves were enough to finish them which shocked team Supernova greatly.

“Espeon do you have enough left in you for one last attack?” Turquoise asked with Espeon nodding yes. “Then use psybeam and sends these freaks on their way. While Espeon was doing that Rei and fluttershy worked on releasing all the pokemon. The blast caused by Psybeam sent team Supernova flying which had Jessie and James feeling nostalgic.

“Been ages since we experienced this feeling,” James said.

“Shall we say it for old times sake?” Jessie asked.

“Sure, Isabelle, Chris care to join in?” James asked.

“Of course,” they said in unison.

“All together now,” Jessie said.

“Looks like Team Supernova is blasting off again, “All five of them shouted in unison as they began a mere twinkle in the distance. Sometime later the girls were back at the fox village where all the saved pokemon were running around freely again.

“Thank you girls for saving the pokemon of my village,” Rei said.

“Anytime, now time to hit the road,” Turquoise said. Before the girls could go, the two Vulpix from earlier stopped them and looked at them.

“I think they want to travel with you, " Rei said.

“Are you sure? “Aqua asked. Both Kan and Alo agreed to it after seeing how their kits took down the opponents they could not. Turquoise caught the Alolan Vulpix in a luxury ball while Aqua used an ordinary pokeball. Both captures were successful and two new members were added to the family. Where will our heroes go next? Stay tuned. As the journey continues.
